"I didn't mean to complain," Chane muttered, turning his head to hide the blush he was sure was spreading over his cheeks. Just what was with this stranger, anyways?

The grey stallion fell quiet, watching the wind whip the snow about just a few steps away. It was amazing how well this sub par shelter kept the wind away. It was... warm even.
The nudge on his neck broke him out of the trance and he turned his head, knocking noses with Seb, "Ow!"

Seb's eyes widened in surprise and he drew his head back quickly. "Oh, sorry!" he laughed. "There really isn't much room in here. Are yo alright?"

Seb watched him quietly for a moment, feeling a bit embarrassed now himself. He was a bit smitten with Chane, but the truth was that they were still strangers. He had only been teasing and playing, but perhaps he should reign himself in a bit. He didn't want to make Chane uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice soft and tender. "I'm coming on too strong again, aren't I."

"Coming on too strong?" he wasn't familiar with the term. He wasn't about to go back on his resolution not to lift his head either.

"Yeah. Being too pushy, too forward. Lily tells me I need to rein things in all the time, but I always forget." Seb shook his head and gave Chane a small smile, even if he wasn't looking at him. "Heart on my hoof and all that."
He heaved a sigh, the puff of air flipping his bangs out of his eyes. "I mean, here I am mooning, and we've just met, and I don't even know if you're gay!"

Chane's eyes went wide and his ears flopped to odd angles, but his head stayed put as did his mouth.

Seb wasn't looking at him now anyway, he was too flustered himself. He always did this, he always jumped in too quick and scared everyone away.
"It's alright though, no worries. I shouldn't have said anything in the first place. Ignore me."

"Oh, don't say anything," Seb said quickly, shaking his head. He'd heard it before, when he'd jumped the gun like this before. "It's perfectly okay if you're not interested!"
He peered out into the snow, suddenly very nervous and shy. He tried to scooch over and put some distance between them, for real this time. "Once the storm stops, I'll get out of your hair."
