"I have no problems with that." the sixteen year old stated. It was actually a good thing to hear in his opinion, because waiting made him bored; more bored than usual that is. Sunku would put on his belt before approaching the instructor. He was clueless in what he was supposed to do so he looked over to the instructor as if asking for help, then putting it into words. "So how exactly does this work?" he asked him, his eyes fixed on the machine before him. Makoto spots another face and throws a set of belts in her direction before closing the box and looking at the lad before him. " This test is the easiest so I don't need to be hard on you guys to get you guys to pull through this. Anyway, you can either hook yourself up to the machine or I can. Either way these two wires will be attacked to your belts where the 3D Maneuver Gear would be. On the remote control in my hand is a button. You'll press this button when you feel ready and the machine will lift you up into a 3D environment. You pass if you are able to keep your balance and if you can't you fail. You must pass this test to take the Titan Test," explains Makoto as he hands Sunku the remote. " Good luck.(((OOC: You'll post that you are hooked up to the machine and then do the "roll Dice" post action. You will roll one dice thatis 100 sided. then post. He who dares...Jason followed the group back to the 3D gear training area. Hearing one of the students ask how it works he looked over at him. "You hook up to the gear and try not to fall on your head," he told him. That was more or less the general idea. This Drill Instructor seemed nicer than the other one, though Jason had no idea whether this was because he was naturally that way or because it was one of those "good cop, bad cop" things. The trainees seemed slightly put off by the complex looking training ground, as he had been when he first arrived. But he knew they would get used to it. He looked over at Yumi. "Try holding your breath for the first few moments when you go up and just concentrate on your balance. Then slowly release it. Other than that it's just something you have to feel. Everyone's different." That was the strategy that had worked for him, hopefully it would work for Yumi too. WINS

_____Shakuntala's eyes widened as a set of cables were tossed her away. She stretched out her hands to catch them and juggled the metallic clips in both of her hands before settling straight after successfully not dropping them. Chagrining, she looked to the instructor with a face that read, "Please don't make me do this," but the older male was already conversing with another before her dismay could be taken into consideration.
_____Doing as she was told, Shakuntala searched out the area where the cables were to be secured. With shaky hands, she tethered herself to the contraption and tentatively strode forward under it. Swallowing, she awaited for the inevitable of a finger tapping the button and sending her to her doom. Probably.

SHe then redresses herself and watches silently as the drill sergeant offers the first turn to Sunku whom asks how the thing works. The instructor explains how the machine works as well as how to pass. Yumi looks over to Jason as he gives her a few tips on how to pass. Yumi nods her head to him and walks up to another one of the three machines seeing that the drill instructor has the remote for one of them and the other girl, Shakuntala, had taken the remote from the other machine and began it herself. Yumi takes a deep breath as she sees the girl turn upside down and walks over to the third machine. Makoto watches as the two girls occupy the other two machines and observes them. He hands the remote to Senku before approaching the girl with the black hair that had failed. " Good try. Care to try again? You need to relax a little," he says kindly as he helps her to her feet. Makoto looks over at Yumi to see her balancing in mid-air with a bored expression on her face. " Congratulations trainee, you passed the test. You can either wait for these two to pass and then we all can go take the Titan Test or you can go back to Miss Stow for the hand-to-hand combat test," he says. "

He who dares...Jason looked over at Yumi again, picking up on the fact that she kept talking about her sister in the past tense. "She sounds like a great person," he replied. "I'm sure she'd be proud of you." He looked away for a moment, a grim expression on his face before lookking back at her when he heard her question. "Yeah, it was difficult," he told her in a massive understatement, remembering the hell it had been and not because of the difficulty of the training. He looked down at his hand as he felt it tremble slightly. He quickly put it in his pocket, giving her a smile. "You'll do okay though," he assured her. "I can tell." WINS

He who dares...Jason gave Yumi a small smile. He didn't know Yumi's sister or anything about her so although he would have liked to say that she would support her no matter what, he honestly didn't know whether or not that was the case. Instead he focused on her second question. "You'll do fine," he told her. "You balanced your gear on your first try," he reminded her. "How many people do you think pulled that off?" He nodded at Yumi's observation about the Drill Instructor. "They're hard on you but you learn a lot that way. You'll get the hang of it." He paused for a moment. "What was your sister's name, if you don't mind me asking?" He said, realizing this was probably a sensitive subject. WINS

Though she isn't fond about talking about her sister it's become a habit to mention her here and there. A habit she needs to stop and move on with. "Her name's Krista," she replies.
