Nyx glared at the men in the helicopter then turned back to Baer. She raised an eyebrow in question, slightly unsure about how to answer but soon found the right answer. "This is a school for royals and knights. Royals being people like you and knights being, people like me. Us knights once we are claimed by a royal, are to protect them with our life, and this school helps train us to do so. Though that guy i just...Killed... was an assassin. they usually pose as a royal or knight to kill their targeted royal." she said calmly, cleaning her blade on the grass and returning it to its sheath. "Oh and dont thank me, its sort of my job to kill assassins" she added in a somewhat regretful manner. she moved her short fringe out of her face while waiting to see his reaction. is this meeting really coincidence?

Ouch my shoulder/Coincidence?/Baer and others/Healthy

"I think I understand. So your job is to protect me from people like him...but I wonder who's job it is to protect you. Hmm never mind. The answer to that is simple. I will protect you Nyx." Baer said as he reached into one of his pockets and took out a small vile filled with a clear liquid. It looked just like normal spring water, but after he took the top off the vile a particular smell came from it. It was something of a mix between Jasmine Tea leaves and alcohol used as antiseptic. "This might hurt a little..." Baer sounded worried as he spoke looking Nyx briefly in the eyes before pouring half of the vile over her wounded shoulder. The medicine would sting like you wouldn't believe for about fifteen seconds before closing any minor flesh wound that had not gone deep enough into the nervous system. This medicine was one of a few that he had created using plants found throughout the country he was born in. "How are you feeling now?" Baer said to Nyx as he wondered how many more assassins might be hiding waiting for the chance to strike again. A quick glance around the area revealed a few other fancy dressed students probably royals like himself while others gave off a similar aura to Nyx possibly their knights or protectors. He didn't get the feeling of any assassins nearby, however he barely know what to look for now after the recent attempt on his life.

Karena smiled, glad to see Merciey relax. "I'm not sure..so many people and emotions it's almost confusing." she answered with a sheepish smile and slight giggle before becoming thoughtful. "What would be a good place?" she asked out loud.

Merciey smiled. "How about the gym?" she asked finally. she straightened and glanced at the surrounding students. "I dont think there would be much people there" she added before running a hand through her long hair. she glared at it. "Why did you have to be so long?" she mumbled then realizing she was being disrespectful she flicked her fringe out of the way and smiled. "sorry" she said.

Merciey nodded and smiled. "Yeah i guess it is" she murmured before leading the way to the gym. she ignored every student except her royal

Baer felt a sense of relief that the mixture seemed to have a positive effect on healing Nyx. It was one of the few he had left that his mentor was there with him to assist in making. He was told once by his mentor that he would have to learn how to make all kinds of things in order to be a useful member of the world including remedies, foods, and even friendships. Baer's inexperienced mind took that to heart and created for him a checklist in his mind of things he would have to 'master' if he wanted to be the best he could be. Poisons seemed to be his specialty now, while remedies and the rest he still had a long way to go. Despite the long journey to the school, Baer didn't feel tired or hungry at all. He felt childishly curous instead and wanted to go exploring. He would first have to change into more 'normal' clothes after finding the room he would be staying in. A though then crossed his mind if Nyx would be near by in case those assassins decided to return. How bothersome. Things wouldn't be fun if he had to look over his shoulder every few seconds and suspect everyone is out to get him.

"Nyx...I have a request. Can you help me find the dorm place? I was told my sleeping room should be there with these number on the door..." Baer sounded confused as he put the vile away and took out a piece of paper written partially in English and partially in some old unrecognizable language. There was a hand drawn map of the school with basic labeling for the buildings. The dormitories were circled with a green color and the number 145 was written in the same color. "I was being taught how to speak and read before I left, but reading is still difficult..." Baer could understand spoken words to him well enough and after a few moments of though he was able to mentally translate the words and reply back, but that translation didn't seem to occur so easily when looking at written words. Baer would have a difficult time learning anything in this school if the instructions were all written down, but it was one of the reasons he came to learn so somehow he would have to overcome it. He was told a knight would meet him here and protect him while he was learning everything he could, so maybe Nyx could help him with his shortcomings.
