The read headed woman inclined her head slightly, gray eyes focusing on his face, before her head shook, and she gave what appeared to be a melancholy smile.
"She was foolish. If she does, or does not take you back, that is irrelevant. But, whatever your decision, I am here.."
One half-gauntlet covered hand slid down, to brush through Chris' hair, a somewhat distracted look overtaking the Guardian Force's face. She felt the darkness building in the distance, and while she did not want to worry her charge, she could feel the tension building in the air. If the factions did not agree soon, war would break out among them, and then, Galbadia would truly have won.
"They should agree to disagree, and go their seperate ways. If they battle amongst themselves, the men in the Garden win.. and we lose."

He nods slowly, genuinely comforted by her touch. Scooping out the last of the spaghetti and consuming it, he tosses the empty can away, and after cleaning off the fork, taps his other hand with it boredly.
I think... No, there's no thinking about it. You're definitely right. Half of us want to stay and fight, half want to run away. We should just do whatever we feel is right. But for those that run, we should help them escape...

She nodded thoughtfully for a moment, before her hand withdrew, and she folded them both across her stomach, leaving Chris where he lay resting against her.
"Very true. Again, whatever you decide, I will aid in."
She pondered for a moment, before eyes turned outwards, staring at the sky, beyond the entrance of the cavern.
"Something is coming, Chris. I do not like the feeling it gives off. It is darkness. A darkness I have not felt in many many years."

He leans his head back, looking up at her with the inquisitive eyes of a child. She was the only person he ever acted this way to.
Darkness? What do you mean?

"I cannot explain. It is.. It is a little like sorrow, only it comes not from me, but from elsewhere. Like the land, and the skies weep for what comes.. Does that make sense?"
She turned her gaze back down, stormy gray eyes meeting his own, as brows furrowed softly.
"I worry often, of what I see, and feel. But this worries me moreso then anything else I have felt before. It comes at a time already troubled. And I feel it the worst, nearest the Garden."

Some.... pain....
He frowns, knowing that Ele'sear is drawn to pain and suffering. That, in fact, was how she was drawn to him, so many years ago.
Are you...going to leave me?

She glanced down for a moment, and then back up, shaking her head softly, flashing a soft, reassuring smile.
"No. I have no need, or cause to leave you. But this does worry me. It speaks ill for everyone in this cavern. And if things are as bad as I sense... Ill for everyone in the world.."
There was a heavy weight with those words, and she allowed them to hang in the air, before turning her eyes back up, and then skywards, as if she could see through the cavern's ceiling.
"I hope everyone is prepared for what is to come.."

A shiver runs up his spine at her words. He's never heard her talk like that before, and it freaks him out. He reaches back to his twin Desert Eagles holstered behind his back and runs his hands over them, assuring himself of their presence.
Then he hops up onto the rock that she's sitting on and leans back so that he's resting his back against hers.
That sounds bad... But I'm not worried. Everything's going to be okay as long as you're by my side.

She leaned back, and without bothering to gaze back over her shoulder, smiled quietly, one hand sliding back, fingers lacing with his in a quiet gesture meant to reassure him, head inclining back down, as strands of red fell across bluish armor.
"I'll be here, until you let me go..."

He smiles as well and rests his head back against hers, and squeezing her hand gently.
Might be selfish of me, but I never want to let you go.

"You may.. some day.."
A brief pause.
"Rest for now. And don't worry. The food won't make you sick. Its already cooked. Just canned cold."
A soft chuckle, as she allowed herself to push against his back, setting him upright, before she faded back away into his mind for a time. She needed to be alone, and strangely enough, the best place to do that, was in his head, inside herself.

He nods slightly to her last words, then slides down the side of the rock to rest against it, wrapping his arms around his knees and resting his head down on them, to take a quick nap.
"I'll never want to let you, go, Sis..."

The air was cool, the night seem to shine down on Dante, the moonlight was covered with clouds, but the light seemed to pierce through the clouds and land upon the students and SeeDs of Balamb Garden...
Dante, alone as usual stood at the top of the mountain, and thought along time... he was confused, he had never been in a big society, never been apart of an army, a team... But he wasnt about to, he didn't think he would fit in well... So everynight he would come to the same spot as long as the SeeD's and Students stayed here, but... he would follow along as the silent guardian, besides, he had some unfinished business to attend with two men, in which he was sure from the feeling he got from them, would be hard at work training for their next encounter.
Dante closed his eyes, and felt, an aura around him, like a chill, but it was long, it didnt last for a second, he could hear the sanctuary playing, like in the small church in winhill, he could feel the prescene of another being wathcing over him, he knew something was different, in his bones in his heart he felt a surge of energy fill his hurt body...
His eyes flew open, with fire in them, rage and the will to survive... He was ready to journey, but not to leave behind his companions, even though they would be ignorant of him exsisting, he lived so they wouldn't die, that night he swore to protect those who couldnt protect themselves, and obey no law, other than his own... He would be the judge of his actions, though he may swear loyalty to another, he knew his heart would always sway his decisions from then on, and not the anger behind the blade...
Dante, walked into the wilderness, and walked around the marked trails into the dangerous peaks of the mountains... He was ready to learn, eager to reach his new levels, ready to face any opponent, he would hafta increase his strength 10 fold in order to take on these new enemies... or so he thought.

Dante's sense grew keen, and his eyes were atone to the darkness, he was ready for any enounters, he had been traveling for sometime now... Finally, upon reaching a little clearing on the mountain, he noticed a creature howling around scaveging the area, it was a snow lion. Large, sharp teeth, and mean.
Dante walked out into the field, either completely confident or completely stupid. Dante walked to the monster and drew his large sword, the monster snarled threw it's front claws up ready to pumble Dante...
Snow fell from a tree, and it began... The snow lion rushed Dante, and while Dante was in mid swing coming from above, the lions tail slamed into his stomach reminding him of a certain T-Rex, he flew back and rolled into the snow, but hastily he jumped up only to find the snow lion coming in for a bite of flesh, it engulfed Dante's sword arm. Dante felt the teeth bearing in his skin and digging to the bone... "You b*****d!!!" He shouted, Dante pushed his finger forward despartley and poked the beast in the eye so hard, his finger pulled it out... The beast screamed in a fury and trampled Dante before backing away... Dante felt himself bleeding and was a little shaken up from this attack, his nerves were distorted, he smiled though, a chaotic yet delightful smile... He pushed himself forward and began to point his sword forward, but instead os slashing this time, he threw his blade into the ground and used it as momentum to thrust his body forward as he kicked the poor lion in the throats right through it's mane.
He flipped back and landed in the snow, gripping his blade again by the hilt. "No more close enoutners, I am going to OWN YOU!" Dante took a step back and junctioned fiagra into his blade, and smiled... "Here comes the doctor..." Swinging widly, the beast reared back and threw it's legs up again, Dante missed the horizontal swing, but before the beast could land, Dante spun with the force of the sword turning in a 360 as if he were dancing and brought the sword right up through the mane in the same area, he had hit earlier, the beast couldnt react as its blood boild from the heat, it fell to the ground and let out a pathetic moan before it passed away...
Dante lost his smile and put back his gameface, sat down and looked up to the sky adoring the view for a little while...

He stood a distance away from all of them, his hands shoved into his pockets, chest bare, sword strapped to his back. His hair had grown a little, and stubble covered his chin. He was looking more and more his age as time passed. And unfortunately, more and more like Colonel Hiroshi.
Wind whipped around his chest and face, as he turned to stare upwards, into the unblinking face of the moon. He'd been a damn fool to think he could escape the army. And in coming here, he'd potentially put the rest of Garden in danger. That had never been his intention. He shifted slightly, and his eyes slanted, staring back over his shoulder towards the girl sleeping in the lean-to.
How in the hell did he always manage to get himself into these situations? He shook his head briefly, and slid forward, hopping down off the stone he was perched upon, sitting back as his feet touched the ground. His hands slid from his pockets, to rest folded across his lap, as he leaned forward, staring down towards Garden. What was going on in there, he was almost afraid to think of. Alger was something of a madman. He'd known it back then.
He reached down between his feet, fingers tangling in the blades of grass, tugging one free, and lifting to pull it between his fingers. His expression was thoughtful, and from a distance, perhaps plotting as well. His hand slammed down, as he shoved to stand again. It was time to make rounds about the sleeping children. Once this was all over, he would be leaving the Garden. providing he survived, that is.
He shook his head, as booted feet carried him around the parameter. The blade of grass spun quietly in his fingers, as he passed the lean-to in silence. Damn that girl. Damn the powers of the Sorceress. Damn everything that made him want to stay here. He should be miles away from this place by now, but duty, and maybe some sense of honor kept him here. He sighed, as the girl in the blood red dress fell into step beside him.
'You know.. you really shouldn't be worrying over that woman like that. She'll only hurt you. Think of how furious she would be if she knew that you knew it all..'
Hiro grunted softly under his breath, the blade dropping, as hands slid back down into his pockets. His voice was quiet, almost husky when he finally spoke again.
"It isn't any of your concern Angel. I can worry over whomever I choose to worry over..."
He cut his eyes towards the form floating beside him, snorting roughly whenever she finally did bother reply. She had a distant look in her eyes, and he hated that look. In anyone else, it would be thoughtful. On her, it was almost eerie.
'No? I thought I was doing what was best for you. I seem to be wrong.'
More silence, as the figure faded away in a burst of anger. God dammit. No matter what he seemed to do, that little girl accused him of being wrong. Ubel had been right. The damn thing would eventually take him over, if he wasn't careful. He lapsed into a self-imposed silence, as he continued his rounds, moving towards the farthest ridge away from the cavern they'd all been staying in.
Just another night...
