Maurice "Phantom" Harden "Through Righteous Fire...." ||Dragoon|| Fighter || Upper Second Class ||
Maurice had heard about a exam taking place today in the forest, and became curious of how the young exwires would do. Making his way down to the door that led to the forest of screams, Maurice reached into his pocket removing a link of keys. He'd slid finger down the loop of keys and stopped at the one he wanted. He propped the key into the key hole, and opened the door. Sliding the link of keys back into his pocket, he entered the doorway, coming out on the other side in forest full of trees. He'd wanted to speak with Headmaster, and new the worry wart wouldn't miss the opportunity to oversee his precious students exam. Making his way down the path, his mental clasps on his coat jumping and clanking with each step. The noise alerting the lesser demons and animals alike, but all knowing full well to keep their distance or face an early grave. Maurice's green eyes focused forward on the path a head, he was aware of what was around him, but if it didn't bother him, he had no reason to retire it.
It was late in the day, and he could only imagine why an exam was going on at this time. Demon's were a lot more stronger in the dark, and also more hostile, so this would be zealous task for the exwires. The thought of the soon to be exorcist banning together to cover each others weaknesses and boaster the others strengths; reminded him of his days being under Headmaster Tavion's wing. Though they were of the same age, Tavion was his senior in being an exorcist and showed him the ropes. If it had not been for the man's guidance, he wouldn't have made it as far as a exorcist. The two even a reputation for their teamwork compatibility; with their Meister abilities being the reverse of one another.
Bringing himself back to reality, Maurice noticed the barrier and the massive tree beside it. From their he could see not only Tavion but Agns in the tree and Reznya at it's base. He scoffed at sight of Reznya, not being a fan of demons of any kind but because he believed in Tavion and his goals to be just, he never openly expressed his disdain for Reznya; especially since Tavion vouched for the demon on multiple occasions. As he came closer, he cleared his throat loud enough the gain their attention, standing there with his hands in the pockets of his exorcist coat. The wind would began blowing, brushing his white hair into his face, forcing him to draw his hand from his pockets and tuck the loose hairs behind his ear. In doing so his exorcist coat raised slightly revealing his Kevlar vest, and military styled outfit underneath, the trench coat length attire. He would bring his hand back down, and slide it back into his pocket.
"So how are they fairing?" Maurice would ask curious to the progress of the students. "....I shall cleanse this world." [OOC: Enter]

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Victor had finished examining the barrier glyph when he looked over his shoulder to see if anyone had made it. He saw two of the Hydra heads burst out from the tree line and head his way. The massive body separated him and the others which meant he was on his own. Getting to his feet, he saw as earthly spikes lunged out from beneath the beast but it had seen them as they came and slithered around them. The Hydra opened it's mouths and spewed the familiar violet substance that fell from it's body when slain. It had acidic properties but as the toxin touched the spires of moving earth, it became motionless and dead. Victor knew that he had to avoid that poison at all costs. He sheathed the combat blade from his chest and pulled out a Tabun Gas grenade from it's pouch on his carrying vest. He stood defensively at the incoming heads as he quickly thought up a strategy. Two heads. Highly agile. If I can get one of them to suck on one of these long enough, their whole body should feel the effects, affecting the other heads and legs. Getting them to cooperate is the hard part. As the heads neared, one had a slight head start than the other so there was a bit of distance between one mouth to the next. Victor focused. His Qi welled up from within and filled him with strength throughout his muscles. Suddenly, he darted forward. The earth under his feet gave way and flew upwards in a cloud of dust. He was gone yet not. Reaching the speed of such an A-Ranked beast, Victor sped right up to the first head. As he reached it, he dove just over it, taking hold of the upper jaw with one hand. This motion would make the head rise up and allow Victor to plant a spoonless gas grenade into one of the beast's large nostrils. While the beast would surely not be stopped by the momentum of Victor's relatively light weight, he would place another hand in it's upper jaw. With two feet planted on the beast's head, he would pull and turn, hoping to rear back the head to where it faced the second. In such a motion, the first head could have continued it's run and the two head would collide or the second would try and attack Victor atop the first head and invoke friendly fire on the first head. Either way, Victor dove backward in a somersault in order to avoid the second head and the violet, odorless gas that would seep out of the first head's nostrils.

【 Tavion Vega ≎ Fighter ≎ Dragoon 】☼ Interpreter of Condolences ☼ 【 Southern Flame General | Acting Paladin | True Cross Academy Headmaster | Arc Knight 】 ✖ ╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲ ✖ New World Order sounded nice and all but it would not come for quite some time. The Vatican wasn't ready for such a thing yet. Peace. Such a word openly known but widely misconstrued. Some thought peace was forcing another party into an agreement and signing away a treaty saying that trouble and war shall be ceased. No. That is not what peace was. Peace was the understanding of both party's faults and the acknowledgement that they cannot change said faults but will work with each for the sake of one goal. To stay alive and live out the life that was bestowed upon you on your own terms. That's what peace truly was. Right now peace was highly unobtainable, almost in fact, impossible. People and demons alike reject what they do not understand and most don't understand the concept of peace which was very disappointing. Tavion, himself, was tired of death. He'd been around it for much too long at such a young age. He'd looked into the Death's eyes too many times being only 22 years old. He remembered everything. The anguished faces of all the people that died in the villages he failed to protect and the regrets that the demons had when looking into the face of their killer for the last time, him. All those memories and feelings were stored into the archives of his filing cabinet and he wanted to not get any more files if he could prevent it. Yet in all of that, he was hailed as a world hero. A statue was even made of him much to his chagrin. He didn't want to be remembered for the amount of demons killed or the amount of lives he saved but wanted to be remembered as the man who brought about peace to the new era...
Tavion snapped out of his daze blinking his eyes a few times and taking a breath before letting it out, sighing in the process. He heard someone clear their throat behind him and he wondered who it was. He turned his body to face the man who he widely considered his best friend and the person he trusted the most, Maurice Harden. "Well now that's a face I didn't expect to see." He said with a chuckle and a smile that decided to turn up a one side but turned his head in the direction of the barrier. "I'm not really sure, their quite far away, the barrier is like a void and all noise within stays within so hearing is out of the question and I cannot access the barrier, only an Aria can bypass it but I shall place faith in them and assume that they're doing well." He responded to his question getting right to the point, looking towards Agnes for a moment before returning his gaze to his friend. Maurice was always serious, much like Tavion but it was to a different degree than himself. "How've you been Reese? Haven't seen you in quite some time now. The Vatican has you pulled in multiple directions I assume."

The Hydra was struck a few times by Victor and hissed as the bomb was placed into its nostril. The second head pulled over towards the first but as it was moving the grenade was pulled into the body. That’s when the creature of Rot digested the grenade and used it to its advantage. The mouths opened and spewed out the gas towards Victor’s tumbling body as they both lashed forwards to eat him together as a team. Meanwhile the other three heads were thrashing around at the barrier Ignazio had formed, attempting to crack it. As the heads crashed into the barrier it moved into the Earth, forcing it to burry itself almost. They were striking as if they were pecking like some kind of chicken or bird. The strikes were not random. Hydra had a bad name for being ‘unintelligent’ but the truth was, that as an S-Class Demon they were extremely smart, just the fact they couldn’t communicate with humans made them appear to be lower rank and unintelligent towards the few Exorcist that had ever dealt with a Hydra.
With the new poison ingested the Hydra seemed to leak the gas out of its mouth as it attacked the barrier. Hydra, were still snakes, and there were quite a few ways the group had yet to try to stop the beast. Just because they were connected it didn’t mean all their organs were connected. Hydras had multiple stomachs and gained them when they obtained an additional head. These Hydras in particular were more snake-like, having a snake body as well as heads rather than a dragon like body. The purple gas was leaking and wrapping around the barrier and filling the remaining area widely from both Victor’s side through group of young Exorcists.

Exwire Ignazio was getting worried as he saw the gas coming from the mouth of the Hydra but he was more worried about Victor as he was using his bare hands against the Hydra. ”There is one thing I can do to buy us a little time, but it will cause us a little more trouble. But it’s better than being poisoned to death or eaten.” he said as he gained a normal breathing pattern and stabilized his Qi but grunted each time the barrier was hit by one of the mighty heads, that’s when he noticed he was getting smaller, but really the barrier was being forced into the ground. This actually wasn’t too bad, causing him to come up with another plan. But he was worried about Victor. So he had two options, save the large amount of the group first and then worry about Victor or save Victor and cause a bigger mess. Ignazio thought about if only he could summon Innocentius they might have a chance to fight off the beast, or at least give him time to cast a Fatal Verse. Ignazio then came to a conclusion. ”Audrianna, I’m going to open a hole in the ground, have your familiar tunnel your way to the center of the forest, I won’t be able to hold back a barrier and dig a deep small hole for us that the Hydra won’t be able to enter, so make two path ways I’ll follow your Qi in order to know where you are once I grab Victor. I’ve noticed that the time it takes for the Hydra to recover its heads. So if the first snake you sliced in two was the original Hydra head it took it about thirty minutes, when I did it the second time it took it twenty minutes, which means if we cut it again we’ll have ten minutes to get away. So I’ll get rid of all the heads to ensure we can get away safely. We’ll retreat for now and confuse the Hydra about our location. I’ll create a basic barrier on our way to get to you guys.”
The tamer grit his teeth and watched the snakes continue their assault. He moved his right hand behind him and pointed his index finger and middle finger at the ground and began to draw a glyph quickly before raising his fingers upwards causing the Qi in the area to expand and create a hole about five feet in depth and five feet in width. Moving his hand back into its original position Ignazio glared at the demons as he held his ground and continued to expand Qi to rebuild the barrier and keep it erect. ”Go! Trust me, I can handle a Hydra on my own for a good amount of time. My father has one as a pet and used it as a punishment tool. But he’s is more dragon like so what I’m going to try normally wouldn’t work but I’m pretty sure with this one being more snake like I’ll be able to remove all the heads at once and buy us time to get back to the rest of you?” The young Barthomeloi closed his eyes and then opened them as the golden Qi began to grow brighter and larger before the shape changed into a large cube rather than a dome. Ignazio clapped his hands together as this barrier would allow him to focus his energy a little more on a pure defense. Lowering his body slowly, he crossed his legs under him and continued to focus. Anything they would say wasn’t going to reach the boy at this point. He was more concerned about life than the mission.

Xaumeric please make sure you watch were you're located. The only people inside the Forest are the Exwires and the few Pages. The woman from the Vatican and the demon wolf are away from the Headmaster. Also you didn't need to use a Key to get to the forest because there are no doorways to get to the forest, as it's outside. That's why there is a barrier. You would have had to walk there, the only thing that has a doorway is a car within the Forest, but that's a special key that belongs to a certain teacher. So there is no way inside, unless you happen to be an Aria or rip down the barrier and want to expose the whole school to Miasma and suffer the wrath of traps created to stop people from entering.

Maurice "Phantom" Harden "Through Righteous Fire...." ||Dragoon|| Fighter || Upper Second Class ||
Maurice noticed Tavion deep in though before he realized Maurice had shown up, what had him so lost. Keeping his hands in his pockets, he kept his stoic stare at his friend until the man snapped out his daze turned to face him. His greeting was as expected, Tavion was a laid back as ever which made any concern Maurice had for him go straight out the door. Maurice would merely sigh and smirked at him.
"Yeah, you would've if you remembered I was coming to visit you. If I didn't know you, I'd be at your office waiting outside like a buffoon." Maurice would respond, his voice calm but strict as if scolding Tavion. Maurice knew Tavion well, he was the kind of man who cared too much, maybe more than all of the exorcist combined. It was hard to tell if this was a good or bad thing, there were plenty who would use this against Tavion but then again that's why Maurice remained friends with him; so that no one would could get the best of him. ******** with Tavion, catch a bullet in the head from Maurice, and vice verse.
As Tavion answered his question about the exwires, Maurice's facial expression didn't falter. He remained calm and stoic, despite knowing full well that Tavion wanted to pull his hair out rush through that barrier and save his precious students. Maurice placed his hand on Tavion's shoulder, clench it lightly. "If you've put a portion of your time in educating them as you've done me then they'll blow anything within that barrier away." Maurice would attempting to say something nice for once. Though what he did say concerned him, why couldn't they at least see beyond the barrier, how would they know if things had gotten out of hand. Oh well, they're Tavion's students so they should at least be strong.
Maurice moved in a flash, retrieving his Desert Eagle, from it's holster with in seconds, and having it aimed at Tavion's head. He'd said done the taboo once again, and knew where this would lead to. "I told you about calling me that, Tavion." He voice dead serious but then remembering that it was pointless as Tavion would be Tavion and no matter how many times he threatened him, or shot at him; the man would never learn. His trigger finger twitching a bit before he slid his gun back into it's holster and sighed. Tavion just love pushing his buttons and he knew Maurice long enough to know he wouldn't actually shoot him despite how much he may have wanted to, resulting in these comedic moments between the two. A vein bulging on his frustration as seemed a bit frustrated but he soon calmed down regaining his composure before releasing another sigh, as the vein reseeded. When Tavion joked about the Vatican keeping him busy, Maurice would smirk. "No, surprisingly things have been relatively quiet, which gave me the opportunity to come visit and check in on you." Maurice would say, as if everything had gone back to normal and he didn't just draw his weapon on his best friend. Being General of the Western Winds left Maurice usually very busy. Constantly out in the field gaining intelligence on the Vatican's more nortorious enemies, while remaining hidden. Multiple covert operations than had him away for months at time. It was a lot more than what he'd done back in days with the Marines but it was nothing he couldn't handle, which was why he got the job in the first place.
"I bet your having a whole lot more on your plate then I've had." "....I shall cleanse this world." [OOC: So what do you want me to do edit or delete my post]

【 Tavion Vega ≎ Fighter ≎ Dragoon 】☼ Interpreter of Condolences ☼ 【 Southern Flame General | Acting Paladin | True Cross Academy Headmaster | Arc Knight 】 ✖ ╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲ ✖ Tavion held a blithe kind of expression on his face with his friends response to his first comment. It was quite hard to remember EVERYTHING he had to do and it was a shame he couldn't remmber his friend said he was going to visit the Academy for the coming days. A chuckle came from his lips. Maurice was Tavion's foil. All of the qualities that Tavion didn't possess, Maurice did and the opposite is true. Tavion cared too much for everything, Maurice on the other hand, cared too little. But that's what made them so loyal to each other. They were so different that they were alike as silly as that sounds. He was Tavion's right hand and he would be more than willing to kill anyone that threatened his friend and he would gladly catch a bullet for the man.
Tavion felt a light hand on his shoulder, as Maurice knew him all too well. He was worried for his students. They were so young facing such a high leveled demon, that Sion had ordered there. He hoped they would all come back alive. So he wouldn't have to go to any doorsteps to tell families that their son or daughter was killed in the line of duty. He had done that too many times and it pained him to do it every time. The hurt expressions on the faces of their mothers and the disappointed look in their father's eyes. Tavion didn't like it but it was his job as the authority. He smiled at his friend as he spoke. "Thank you Brother. And it seems that with that training you've become quite the deadly force yourself." But Maurice was not at all pleased by saying a much dreaded nickname of his. Reese. He hated that name with a burning passion and always drew a gun on Tavion every time he called him that. It was like a custom for them to go through this when they saw each other but Tavion would never not call him that. It was just too much to call him by his full name. "Reese suits you better. It softens up that marble exterior of yours." He chuckled as he watch him put away the Desert Eagle, before throwing a few soft punches at the mans abdomen. He always had liked that Desert Eagle. In fact, that was the one that he had given Maurice and he always seemed to fancy having that one in his right hand. Tavion wrapped an arm around the taller man's shoulders and brought him down to his level while he had continued to talk. "I'm humbled that the General of the Western Winds has given his much valued time to such a man as me." He said sarcastically with a grin on his face. This was really the only time that one would see Tavion this way, when Maurice was around. "I'm actually surprised your not in some fox hole with mud all over your face." He laughed at the thought letting his arm slip from Maurice's shoulders, holding his stomach from the slight uncontrollable pain.
The laughter ceased as he wiped a tear from his eye and rose to his full height once more. "It's been quite alot," Tavion took a more serious expression. "I've got Ignazio the First on my back, sending people to watch me as if I'm a child and I've been trying to get a demon, Sion Eltnam, to secure relations with Demon King Egyn and I've already got Demon King Astaroth's heir to the throne on my side. But Sion is not very trustworthy but I need her in order to achieve this long sought after peace." The man turned his back to Maurice to stare at the barrier. "Those kids...I want them to be able to enjoy the rest of their youth. I for one am tired of war and I want to enjoy the rest of my twenties..."

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt Aria || Dragoon || Upper 1st Class Agnès could sense a new qi signature in the area, one she knew all too well;“How… Bothersome.” she said with a disdain. Agnès let her binoculars fall to her chest as she gripped the branch she sat on, turning to see where the man was. Sure enough, where the headmaster stood the pair seemed to talk casually. ‘To what pleasure do I have to see you here, General..’ Agnès thought, she was a bit agitated and her face didn't hide that fact. An icy glare in her eyes and a barren expression on her face. While, relatively unknown to the world, Agnès was a member of the Western Winds- a Watcher. When the previous general of the Western Winds was killed in a tragic accident, Agnès was considered the likely pick to fill the role. Yet, the Vatican thought otherwise- choosing a relatively unproven ex-marine. The man was young and most his exploits weren't in the exorcist world. Agnès heavily disagreed and argued the decision, yet lost. So now she was forced to work under this new General, despite the fact he was of lower rank than her. It boiled her blood.
Turning away from the General of the Western Winds and the headmaster; Agnès pulled her binoculars up to her face. The movement was rapid and perhaps a bit violent. She quickly found the group of students once more; they were being surrounded by the many heads of the hydra. One of Agnès’s elusive smiles crossed her face- one the Edelfelt were known for. A grotesque smile, it made her face seem closer to a monster’s- one that showed the excitement that warmed her heart. She observed as the snakes bashed their heads into the barrier, trying to get a bite at the rats obscured by the golden orb. Agnès couldn't really tell what was happening within. Because she was using the night vision feature of the binoculars, the qi glowed like the sun in the darkness. Creating an erotic dance of the hydra’s shadowy figure against the glow of Ignazio’s barrier. It was exciting for her to watch, she didn't want to intervene. Agnès wanted them to think, and work as a team. They weren't working together until the hydra began its attack. While, one had run off on his lonesome; the ones obscured by the barrier would be forced to work together- or be eaten. Which ever happened first.
[[OOC: He told you just for reference, as Clementine is hanging out in a tree observing the students, Renzya is sitting at the foot of the tree and the Headmaster is some distance away. And, technically Clementine would be working for Maurice. But she isn’t going to like it at all. LOL.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Victor had barely touched down on teh ground when the Hydra turned and came for him again. This time, the violet mist of the grenade was spilling from it's mouths which meant his effort to subdue the beast had failed. This time, the heads seemed to team up and come at him together, forcing Victor to deal with them all at once. This demon is smart for a snake. I guess I shouldn't have expected less from an S-Rank. The two heads came at him at a good angle but threatened him with the Tabun gas. Holding his breath, Victor waited for the moment just before they would converge on his position and rolled forward, exploiting the gap that would be between the the two heads. The gas was beginning to fill the area and Victor was running out of options. While the Hydra was surely breathing in the gas itself, having it coming out just below their nostrils, it was spilling it out into the area and would affect Victor if he breathed it in too long. After he evaded the heads, ending up between them, he leaped up onto one of them and hugged it's body as he began to climb up to it's head. Victor quickly reached the head, gripping it's scaly body to avoid being thrown off. He unsheathed his knife and slashed at the eyes in one motion, seeking to blind it.

Maurice "Phantom" Harden "Through Righteous Fire...." ||Dragoon|| Fighter || Upper Second Class ||
Tavion's expression proved he had legitimately forgot, about his visit but Maurice could forgive it, the visit though mentioned before hand was still a bit impromptu. Shrugging that aside Maurice could plainly see that the position was taxing on his friend mind, filling it with a lot of worry and holding himself accountable for all that transpire under his watch. Too much for any man to be burdened with but he knew Tavion was strong enough and determined enough to make the best of the situation and prosper. It was the kind of man he was. Tavion didn't need to thank him, he'd been there for Maurice in many ways and he'd owed him a debt of gratitude. He'd smirked with the compliment of him being deadly force, he pride himself on his combat ability, even though there were many, like Tavion's situation, he doubted his ability as not only a leader but to fulfill his duty in his given position.
Maurice eye would twitched, and he tilted his head down so that his hair cascaded his eyes in shadows. The vein would appear on his forehead and a glimmer in his eyes would shine brightly. The S.O.B went and did it again, he slowly reached for his gun as his fingers twitched. His trigger finger itching, but as soon as he felt Tavion's arm wrap around his shoulder slumping him down to his shorter height, Maurice urge to shoot him once again subsided. "You keep calling me that, humbled or not, I will shoot you." Maurice said with a light smirk on his face. He was amused to see Tavion acting like his old self with out the burden of work on his mind.
Feeling a pair of eyes focused on him, Maurice got the stomach curling feeling of someone loathing him. He looked up to the tree to see Agnes staring down at him, with a clear icy glare set upon him from her position in the tree. He was no stranger to that look or the feeling, he received it on multiple occasions from her and was very much aware of why. He took her job. As petty as that may seem, in all rights the job should've been hers, she was next in line for it, been a member of the True Cross Order longer, and even were a higher ranking than he was. Yet the job fell into his lap; he was a veteran and was trained extensively and was use to running covert operations and task forces. He's been leader of previous squads, and is a master at what he does. He was clearly suited for the position but he knew it miffed her. Like for all his subordinates, he welcomed the opportunity for them to voice their concerns in a sparing match; Maurice was stickler for strength and believed that the weak had no right to argue with his position.
With her turning away, he simply ignore her and returned his attention to Tavion as he explained what had been plaguing him. To Maurice's dismay, demons. Tavion knew how he felt about cohering with demon's seeing as it nothing but trouble, Tavion believed he could really usher in an age of peace. "If this Sion, isn't as trustworthy as you believe then make sure she understands what happens if she even thinks of double crossing you." Tavion was well aware of his views of treachery, and if necessary Maurice would see to Sion personally. When Tavion turned to the barrior, Maurice walked around him so that he stood at his right. "You may have it wrong, Brother, though I believe in what you are trying to accomplish; if what you accomplish is true then you only shelter them from harsh realities of life. They will become weak a defenseless and when those who oppose your dreams rise they won't be able defend themselves. We struggle so that they can be given the tools to protect themselves and their dreams in our stead." Maurice would say crossing his arms across his chest. "Who's to say that by training them, they may be the instruments to that peace your always blabbing about." Maurice would say, he knew war for the last few years he'd been covertly sabotaging enemy and smuggling intel, so that they always had the upper hand in war or possibly prevent an outbreak of it; so he knew where Tavion was coming from when he said he was 'tired' but he also knew the importance what they were doing and it's necessities. By putting these children in these positions they were conditioned and prepared for the worse. "....I shall cleanse this world." [OOC surprised k thanks ill make the edits]

The night sky continued to dawn upon the world, basking it shadows. On such a clear night the demons would roam the earth with thirst and power. Reznya on the other hand felt no different when night approached. Day or night she remained the same, indifferent. However that couldn't be said about the other creatures of hell that took to the earth and out of Gehanna. Even from great distance Reznya could feel the intent of the other demons, those within the barrier lusting. Though she could not see within the barrier to witness the events transpiring she could still smell out most of the parties inside, her large ears also picking up sounds. Reznya could hear the battle being taken place inside, however what was happening exactly was still a mystery. All she could tell was that the children inside were still alive but in a fierce battle against a large creature. Giving the air in front of her a good few sniffs the demonic canine snorted in displeasure. The Hydra had it's own unique scent and for Reznya it wasn't a very good one. The fact that it was loose was making the Hell Hound antsy. She wanted to know what was happening, but even more so she wanted things to end so she could go back to lounging around without worry. Reznya was still the schools Guard, and so she was duty bound to preform her job even if she hated to do such things.
Unable to simply sit still the large body of black and purple fluff rose up. Reznya positioned herself into a sitting posture, her front targeted before the barrier as her eyes remained fixed upon it. Even if she couldn't see within she would still keep her eyes trained. Sometimes you just never knew. After a few seconds Reznya peered to her side, the same direction she had came from earlier, and for a few seconds stared towards the Headmaster. It was then she saw the new body of another comer to the Forest of Screams. The man was yet another member of the Vatican, one a rank higher then the woman who sat above her. Even from the distance between them she could sense his dislike of her. It wasn't unusual of humans to distrust and dislike her, she could handle that fact. Besides demons have never really given much reason for humans to trust them. But it left the Hell Hound wary. She'd trust herself to keep out of trouble and hopefully keep herself from being alone with anyone who didn't enjoy her company. She wasn't much for starting things or ending them, and to be honest she also wasn't to keen on getting killed. Again it was just one of those things you just couldn't know and was left better untested.
But for the time it would seem that Reznya was safe. The Headmaster was still around, so she wasn't concerned with anyone trying to come after her. Satisfied Reznya turned her attention back upon the barrier where the children still remained inside and in battle. Completely out of character Reznya took a deep breath in and then howled long and loud. The sound of her feral roar echoed within the forest, the sound powerful enough to ride the breeze to even inside the barrier. Her howl was a warning, and it was meant for the demons and monsters that lingered inside. Many of the lessers would peek their attention to the howl in wonder and fear. It wasn't wise for the weak to remain when the big bad wolf was approaching. However it wouldn't be only the lesser of her kind to take notice and be distracted. Especially since it was so random. Completely uncalled for and just so out of character for the large wolf. Normally Reznya would never make a noise louder then a grunt or whimper. Even then the loudest sound she'd make was when she plopped on the ground with a loud thud from her sheer size. But Reznya felt compelled. Call it feral instinct, but she needed to release something, so she did.

As Victor made his way through the deadly poison that was being enhanced by the demonic Qi he climbed up one of the snake necks and up to the head and gouged out one of the eyes of the Hydra. This caused all the Hydra’s to his and turn their attention to Victor making them move towards Victor’s body and strike at the Exwire with fast precision, they would have attacked the other head if need be. But their target was Victor. The sound of the hissing four heads encircled Victor and as they struck the head he was on bucked around trying to throw him off, the eye was officially useless. Victor could have easily blinded the Hydra in other ways that could have effected them all, but in away Victor did help his teammates out, but by sacrificing himself in the process wasn’t very smart; no matter who the Exorcist was, fighting alone was not protocol and it was clearly suicidal. Victor’s chances of being killed were significantly higher now, the poisonous gas was still moving along the ground creeping towards the barrier were the other half of the group was located and the area closest to Victor was completely covered, even the lake was being effected by the gas. The question now was, how could Victor save himself from all this, or if anyone could save him.

【 Tavion Vega ≎ Fighter ≎ Dragoon 】☼ Interpreter of Condolences ☼ 【 Southern Flame General | Acting Paladin | True Cross Academy Headmaster | Arc Knight 】 ✖ ╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲╲ ✖ Tavion knew exactly how Maurice felt about consorting with demons and they usually were nothing but trouble which was true in most cases but he couldn't shake the fact that as much trouble they were, he needed the most troublesome of demons to become his allies to usher this new age of peace between humankind and demonkind. Of course, this would go unspoken in the normal human world but to Exorcist this would be something possibly welcomes to some and very unwelcomed to others. The young Headmaster nodded as his friend explained, without actually saying it, that the demon would be destroyed if she were to betray him. Tavion knew full well that Maurice had no qualms in ending her life, but kill Egyn's favorite and their will be no peace with them. Tavion continued to listen to his friends counsel. MAurice was a very smart man. He knew just the right words to say at the right time, and it made Tavion smile. "Maybe I am the wrong one here then. Maybe I'm wrong for wanting to shelter them, but is it so bad?" He asked before continuing. "Yes we should always be prepared but--" Tavion was interrupted by a very loud howl. The cry of a wolf. It was Reznya. She knew something was either going to happen very soon. Maybe unbeknownst to her, she was very good sense of smell for disastrous events. Tavion's unhinged Salvacion from his back and place the bottom of the heavy weapon on the ground. "Somethings going to happen..."

Exwire Eyes slowly opened as the force of the impacts to the barrier started to fade away. Ignazio looked and watched as the heads were moving rapidly in the other direction. He exhaled and lowered his hands before catching his breath. ’I have to help Victor…wait, what’s that…’ the tamer was slowly losing himself into his thoughts, but that was until he noticed the purple smoke coming their way and the fact the snakes moved through it so fast had it moving fast. The smoke climbed up to the tops of the trees almost. Ignazio looked around and then reached into his holster and grabbed both of his tarot cards. Standing up he quickly bit the side of his left thumb and swiped the blood that was drawn across the faces of both cards. Ignazio held the cards into the air and his Qi began to flare off of his body to the point it was visible once again, but instead of a barrier it looked like fire. ”You bastards have official pissed me off, I’m not only going to send you to hell but I’m going to burn you alive. You’ll know true fear and pain after I’m done with your a**. This is why I hate ******** snakes. So how about you just die already.” but that’s when Ignazio remembered, Audrianna mentioned the heart awhile back, but burning the body would eventually get to the heart so causing a little torture would be a little beneficial to him. The Barthomeloi took a few steps as he let his left hand fall to his side and the blood slowly dripped down his finger and tapped along the surface of the ground. ”Let the gates in all directions be shut, rising above the crown, and let the three-forked roads to the Kingdom revolve. Stand up for your King! Innocentius, show yourself!” Ignazio chanted quickly as the hole behind him erupted with fire and the large giant made of pure flames appeared into the area; it was Innocentius. The creature moved around his master as all the moisture in the air was being dried up. Ignazio pointed towards the gas with his left index finger ”Innocentius! Get rid of that ******** DEMON!” he yelled as the beast released a mighty roar and raised its hands before becoming fire itself and bursting through the poisonious gas created by the beast. As the flames connected to the poison it caught a blaze and fueled Innocentius’ body allowing the demon to become the size of the serpent.
”May you rest in my hands. Let there be a mark of your sins. Eternal life is found only in death. Set out Judgment under the command of your King! Come Forth, Garuda!” Ignazio chanted but this time a little more at a normal paste but angrier than before. As the winds around Ignazio increased the flames were fanned higher increasing the temperature in the forest. The nearby trees were catching a mighty orange and red blaze. Ignazio raised his left hand as Garuda appeared above him in the air. ”Garuda, go save Victor before Innocentius burns him alive with the Hydra. I want him back in one piece. This I command.” Ignazio called out, the familiar had already started flying at an accelerated rate and reached Victor after dodging the flames and the multiple heads coming down upon her. The flying demon of wind grabbed Victor by the shirt using her talons and continued to fly until she was over the lake.
The speed Garuda flew caused the flames to part ways and swirled upwards like giant waves. The flames then made motions like the snakes striking in a select pattern as Innocentius controlled the flames with its newly enhanced body. The heat in the forest had increased tremendously within the few seconds Innocentius had been summoned; it was already at Innocentius’ maximum level of 3,000 degrees Celsius. The Demon was doing as it was instructed and that was to barbeque the Demon whom had attack its master. Garuda circled around the lake trying to avoid the flames and looking for the fastest way back to her master, but she still needed to check on her new passenger. Raising her leg up to look at Victor the large bird like woman looked at Victor with a tilted head hoping she didn’t injure him at all.
While everything was going on Ignazio still wasn’t happy. He started to move to get a view of the snake demon and started to move his left hand in a circle and then draw a strange pattern in front of him a large greenish-blue circle began to form as he drew on the air itself. ’What I seek…is Thunder…yeah a bolt of lightning’ ”Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” he began to chant and draw the magic circle with his left index finger. Clinching the two cards in his right hand caused Ignazio to remember that he wasn’t just angry but he was afraid, he didn’t want to die, he didn’t want to disappoint his family, and he didn’t want to lose to a snake. So if it caused him using up a lot of Qi then so be it. 970 / 1,500 Qi Summoned Innocentius [ 100 ] + [ 50 ] Summoned Garuda [ 100 ] + [ 30 ] Starting 8 Line Aria [ 2 / 8 Lines ] Familiars • Innocentius | Active • Garuda | Active
