"Well, for starters, I find myself getting a little antsy when indoors for too long," Ash admitted freely. "I also have this strange urge in the back of my head to battle every Pokémon I meet, and I think I've gained a bit of a taste for raw meat. Oh, and I also find myself thinking or doing things I probably wouldn't have back when I was still human." He conveniently neglected to mention the instincts concerning May - true, they were a couple now, but he didn't want to push his luck, and following what he mentally dubbed 'mating instincts' would probably have her go for the universal male weak point.

"I don't think so," Ash answered, muttering afterwards, "Unless it currently is my mating season." Seriously, if he did have a mating season, he prayed to Arceus that it'd be a mild one - his instincts were screaming at him to jump May as it was. (Un)fortunately, he didn't mutter that last comment low enough that May and Eevee couldn't hear.

Ash blushed, realizing that she'd heard his little comment, but nevertheless considered the question a moment. "Honestly? A little of both, but mostly the first option" he confessed once he'd managed to sort out which parts of his desires were his instincts and which desires were really his, managing to not stare at her chest (though he did occasionally sneak a peek), adding, "I honestly want to make love to you because I love you... the instincts just happen to be amplifying that by an unhealthy amount."
Since they were behind the menu anyway, Pikachu decided to mimic his trainer and initiate a make-out session with Eevee - he was curious what those humans (or in Ash's case now, humanoids) saw in that sort of thing.

Pikachu was more than happy to return the favor, suddenly very easily understanding why humans enjoyed this so much.
Ash nodded happily to May, completely oblivious to Pikachu and Eevee making out with each other right under their noses... and similarly oblivious to the men in black uniforms with red Rs on their tops gathering outside the building and getting ready to storm it.

However, one of the grunts managed to grab May, holding a knife to her throat even as Ash growled dangerously at him. Several other grunts similarly obtained hostages easily due to the element of surprise... and immediately all resistance stopped cold.
The leader grunt - ironically, the one holding May - chuckled darkly. "Good, we've got your attention. Everyone stand up and keep your hands where we can see them. Don't worry; we won't be long, and when we leave, we'll release our hostages. We're just looking for a brat - dark cyan hair, pale skin, possibly a slightly feral mindset. That ringing any bells?" He then spotted Ash and smirked. "Ah, there you are. Why don't you be a good little weapon and come back to Team Rocket? After all, your girlfriend here's got quite the pretty face - it'd be a shame if I had to kill her."
Ash growled again, but seeing no way to rescue May without risking her life, he reluctantly started walking over to the group of grunts...
Only for a soft sipping noise to redirect everyone's attention to the center of the group of grunts, where a strange figure in a trenchcoat was calmly sipping his tea with no fear whatsoever of the current situation.
The leader grunt blinked incredulously before glaring at him. "Hey, dumbass! I distinctly remember saying everyone was to stand up and keep their hands out in the open!"
The fellow in the trenchcoat glanced up at the grunt. "I'm afraid I can't do that; I'm not done with my tea, you see," he - at least it seemed to be a he, and a teenager, judging from the voice, though something seemed a little off - informed the grunt calmly, causing everyone to gawk at the sheer audacity of the young man, though the grunts still kept the knives to their hostages' throats.

"GAH! YOU b***h!" The leader managed to whirl around and glare at his subordinates. "That's it - if they don't start cooperating, start killing hostages! We're the ones in control here!" Suddenly a huge pressure crashed down on everyone in the restaurant, causing the Rocket Grunts in particular to start feeling uneasy.
"That's where you're wrong."
The leader glanced at the trenchcoat boy warily, alarms immediately starting to go off in his head as he realized that something was definitely wrong here... "Wh-what do you mean?" he asked warily, watching as the unknown teen finished his tea and set down the teacup
The trenchcoat teen's gaze suddenly became sharp as knives as his "voice" reverberated harshly across the minds of everyone in the building. You weak-minded fools were never in control. Your chances of controlling the situation were slim enough with Ash in the mix, but when I entered the building, your chances of success became nonexistent. I will never allow anyone to be used by Team Rocket ever again. He pulled one pale hand out from under his trenchcoat and made a dismissive gesture; suddenly the knives bent themselves over and over again until they were little more than useless hunks of metal, promptly followed by the Grunts being quite forcefully ejected from the building by an unseen force... straight through the walls and windows. The pressure in the air then suddenly vanished, and the boy in the trenchcoat turned to a nearby waitress, seemingly oblivious to the stares of awed fear he was getting and calm once more. "Check, please. Don't worry, I'll pay for the damages to the walls and windows."

(Yes, I know that was overdramatic... but I wanted a badass entrance, so I'm giving him a badass entrance. Also, if you can guess who he is under the trenchcoat, keep in mind that May never met him, so you can't have her saying "oh, it's you". xd )

(...That's cheating... crying )

Mewtwo smirked slightly as he heard May's question, but didn't answer, instead only paying for his tea and teleporting away.
Ash tilted his head slightly, trying to figure out why the word "Mewtwo" and that figure seemed so familiar. It was at that point he finally noticed a small note that had somehow ended up at their table:
