The male twin name was Lee and his twin sister was named Linca. There father owned a dojo that trained all the children in martial arts in a form of self defense. Granted no one needed it since not a lot of harm came there way.
Lee and Linca grew up with Kazuma and slowly crack him out of his shy stage and made him into someone who was quite proud in his skills. The twins father held a tournament with other small villages and would do playful bets on who would win. Like fifteen chickens on Lee winning against Kazuma and sixteen turnips if he won kinda thing. The tournaments were all playful and sure everyone lost every now again but it was to kill time really and have fun.
One year Kazuma,Lee, and Linca team won and the five man team plus there family actually saved up enough money to go to the beaches and hang out with city folk. Considering they only had traditional clothing they had to save up money from odd jobs in the village to get what ever the heck was called swimming trunks and a bikini so they at least fit in.
The summer they spent in the sun making sand castles and splashing water was Kazuma best memory's. When next year they were already excited to win to relive good times. Each round went on like usual and when Kazuma got to the final round and was making his way to the arena. A few odd dressed men told him to 'Take a dive'... What ever that was. Kazuma smiled and bowed and told them he wasn't planning on losing. As he walk away, the odd dressed men told him if he didn't do as he was told. They take something he could never replace. Chuckling a bit as he ignored there threat since he honestly believed it was a harmless bluff...
After the tournament of his second win. He ran around looking for his friends. Finally leaving the arena and going to there homes to find they weren't there. Running around town slightly bum out that they weren't around. When he finally gave up searching he went home. Finding a odd smell in his family home he began to search... And to his disgust he found two body's lifeless on this bedroom floor. He instantly knew who they were and couldn't help but fall to his hands and knees. Crying his heart out for his closest friends who were taken from him. Slamming his fist into the ground in sheer anger towards himself. When his parents arrived they just saw him punching the ground over and over as he cry'd his eyes out. His hand bloody and wounded as he cursed his own name out of the selfishness of his pride of winning.
His parents quickly saw the body's and held there child in there arms. The following morning before the sun has even risen. The funeral had begun. Kazuma apologized to Lee and Linca parents but they simply said it wasn't his fault or that he didn't know. But to kazuma, he felt and knew if he had listened to those men. They wouldn't be gone and no one would be in pain.
Kazuma stayed and burred there body's alone. Giving Lee his staff to rest on his cross and for Linca he placed the charm he made her for his first fight as a kid. Once he returned home he change into something clean after a bath. He packed up and told his parents goodbye and that he'd come back one day.
The night of his seventeenth birthday, he left. Wondering around the world living his life for there goals. Never once has he used his skills for fighting and always simply lost on purpose. To simply atoning for the mistake he had made oh so many years ago.

A man by the name of Selvan had lost a battle against an evil man. He transferred his soul and his magic over to the closest living thing that could withstand it. Sho was a prime candidate. Over time, Selvan taught Sho everything he knew about magic, the world, lore on anything and everything he knew about. Sho was quick to catch on. It only took him 3 months to perfect his knew body and begin talking in fluent English, as well as Chinese, Japanese, German, and Spanish. He began to shift through all of Selvan's memories and teach himself how to fight.
It was when Sho turned 5 that he left his mother and his siblings to truly begin his life anew. He took the time to train himself and his body under the tutelage of Selvan. While doing so, he traveled all over the world searching for something he couldn't find. He had Selvan teach him about as much as possible. Sho quickly learned he had a thirst for knowledge. Selvan was always there to keep him updated and together they pooled their gained and pre-known knowledge to get their knowledge now. As time passed by, he became a lover of the drink. Any type of drink that had alcohol in it, he was fond of of. Not having the ability to get drunk was a plus for him. He never understood why. But it was something that never seemed to affect him like it did other people.
It was a rough time for most of Sho's travels. Most did not accept him as he was considered a freak of nature. While traveling through Fiore he ran into a few other individuals who tried to kill him and take his body thinking he was some sort of demon, when in reality, Sho always considered himself to be more of a scholar then anything else. They called themselves wizards, which is what Selvan was before he died. These wizards used body take over magic. It was then Sho wanted to become a wizard. He hadn't realized Selvan hadn't unlocked his magic for Sho to use. But since Sho had such capability, Selvan allowed Sho to use his magic as he willed and this also unlocked Sho's own magic. Unsure of how to use it just yet. he needed to find a place that could teach him. Selvan refused to teach Sho much about magic. He told him to go to a magic guild. Now it was a matter of finding a guild. Sho is now at the age of 17. He is excited to learn something else. Just another piece of knowledge for him to gather.
