Kasumi traveled a ways and came upon a stream, and thought that she would get a drink of water. She had done a lot of walking today and was quite tired and parched As she knelt to drink from the stream, so saw something very peculiar.

Across the stream from her, a Totodile had emerged from some brush and headed towards the stream, but there was something unusual about this Totodile. The inside of it's mouth was still red, as were it's eyes, and it's tummy was still yellow, but it's coloration everywhere else was just all wrong. She grinned, realizing that meant it was unique.

Kasumi liked Water-type Pokemon very much, and she had ten of them already to prove it. Seeing that Totodile, which was green instead of blue and which had blue spines on it's back instead of red, she knew she had to have it!

Without speaking, she called her Persian out of it's Pokeball on the other side of the stream, near the Totodile "Persian, use Thunder!" Kasumi ordered. It wasn't the most accurate of attacks, but Kasumi figured that as close as Persian was to Totodile, it couldn't miss.

"Diiile Diiiii!" Totodile reacted surprisingly quickly, jumping away from the thunder attack, so that it barely connected at all. It did some damage, but not much.

The oddly-colored Totodile retaliated with Aqua Tail. "Persian, dodge it!" Kasumi ordered

"Perrrrr" Kasumi's Persian attempted to dodge, but like it's thunder attack, the Aqua tail connected with a glancing blow.

"Retaliate with Pay Day" Kasumi ordered, and her Persian started chucking coins at the Totodile.

Totodile attempted to use Aqua Tail a second times, but all the coins hitting it interrupted it and it stopped to shield itself with it's little hands, fairly close to Persian.

"Thunder attack, one more time!" Kasumi reached for a Pokeball.

"Toto...?" Totodile seemed to know it was in trouble now, and tried to move, but wasn't fast enough. Persian unleashed a powerful Thunder attack, and despite it's attempts to flee, Totodile took a direct hit.

At the last minute, Kasumi decided it was better not to take chances with a Pokemon as amazing as this, so she took an Ultra Ball instead and threw that at it.

The Totodile was drawn into the Ultra Ball and it started shaking.

"Why do electric type even bother?". With a dig the Blitzel is running away back to the herd which it branched from.

The same Cacnea sees Kain in the distance. It sheds a tear knowing that he can't have him otherwise he'll just be thrown away after. so it walks away hoping Kain doesn't see him.

Now Vendil just beeting on the woobat to get it away from his owner.

Ren saw that the capture was successful and grinned as he knelt to pick up Pyroar's Pokeball. He didn't have to walk upstream, he just took the most direct route to the stream and allowed the current to bring the Pokeball to him. With Pokeball in hand, Ren looked at Linoone "Lets head back and let the judges take a look at this."

"Noon, Linoone" Linoone answered, and started running back the way they had come from, and Ren followed.

Ryhdon Standing strong and tall. looks Kain in the eye. Behind the female is a patch of eggs. with a nod kain Says "Your a good mother". leaving the scene Kain feels a bit lighter and Keeps his hunt for the cacturne.

A zigzagoon sprints through his legs and into a bush. Its speed remarkable. "did something just pass me...?"

A furious Vigoroth jumps into the scene. Probably being distracted by Kains golden plates. "oh buzz off". Kains runs from the powerful primate.
