Persephone yelped when the Queen's second attack scored her. "Goddamnit!" She shouted at the woman. "Pick an element and stick with it!" Water was fine, but fire too? Or well, heat at least? ******** that. She bent down and unstrapped her shorter sandal (which she knew she was going to regret because hobbling around on one heel, oh god) and then threw it at the Shade Queen's face, in a fit of petulence.

And then she took off her other sandal for good measure, hanging onto it so she could attack someone else.

Tantalus actually smiled when Leto showed up. "Always lovely to see you, m'lady," he said. He was seriously considering ditching his scarf, which was heavy enough as is, but showing off the nasty neck injuries his clone had given him - which were mostly, but not fully, healed, at least - in front of Leto really didn't seem like something he wanted to do.

He let out an embarrassing yelp of surprise when the beam of heat stuck him, and then spun to kick down another shade. "Good god I hope that's all she has." At least she wasn't unleashing any stolen Senshi attacks yet.

Sailor Tantalus HP: 30

"I'm a friend of Gabriel's," Natron lied, remembering Lance's suggestion, "and he asked me to keep you safe. I owe him a lot, so it's the least I can do." It was the best idea he could come up with for why he was keeping an eye on Desmond.

"I dunno, you seem to be doing a decent job...whoops," Natron wrapped an arm around the teen's waist, pulling him away from the shade queen's attack. Rather accidentally, he backed into another shade.

"Just don't get yourself killed, alright?"

Captain Natron HP: 45

Penthesilea leapt gracefully out of the way of the beam of heat, humming a little to herself. As she scanned the battlefield again, she spotted Lt. Zircon, and she gave a smile and a little waggled-finger wave to her. Now wasn't the time to be attacking anyone else, not when she had an army of shades to defeat.

She spun to kick at one, but managed only a glancing blow.

"Damn it."

Sailor Penthesilea HP: 40

Amytis was doing pretty well, all things considered and given her lack of battle experience. She'd managed to dodge the Queen's second attack, and then with a casual turn, she punched one of the shade-things in the face.

Aw yeah, she had it, and she hadn't even needed to use her magic!

The blonde turned at the yelp, returning his attention to Tantalus. "Are you alright?" The attack itself had missed Damocles. This time. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news... But I doubt it." He mumbled as he kicked at another shade.

Desmond just snorted. "The last thing that grabbed me tried to kill me so you'll have to forgive me if I'm not exactly quick to believe you." Even if this guy did somehow know Gabriel. His eye twitched when he was grabbed once again and the guy holding him walked right into another one of these things. "Whoops? Seriously? You're just a big bag of grace ya know that?" He replied, embedding the blade in the shade's eye. "Maybe it's not me who needs to worry about getting killed. Because it looks like I'm doing a better job at this then you are."

It seemed that his earlier rock had managed to connect with the towering Shade as it suddenly seemed to swing and look in his direction, just as his hand connected with the more normal-sized Shade that had closed to attack him again.

And then something else must have hit the towering Shade as her face suddenly turned enraged and started ranting at them, Athene catching words such as 'sucumb to me' and 'no more need for your kind'.

"I think we need to be on our guard" he warned Nysa as he tried to keep an eye on both the Shade Queen and the the Shade he was fighting.

And then rant seemingly over, the towering Shade dropped the hand that she had suddenly raised a beam of heat suddenly heading in their direction. Athene barely having time for a called out "Watch out!" to the Knight as he tried to fling himself to the side.

It missed, instead catching the Shade that had chosen that moment to lunge at him and instantly destroying it.

Athene HP: 50/50

----------------------------------------------

Falias looked startled when the Shade that he'd been about to swing at suddenly went flying off its feet and then wary as he picked up the aura of the Nega-Lieutenant that seemed to have approached while he'd been distracted by the thing.

He did not have a good track record with encounters with the other side.

A startled expression flitted across his face when the blond Lieutenant stated that his intention was not to attack him, but Falias heard him out - it helped that the other hadn't come at him swinging, had instead helped him by knocking the clone down.

That big clone had started ranting about something and distracted Falias turned to look, not liking the way her hand had turned red like that and then the hand came down and beam of something seemed to be heading in their direction.

"s**t watch out!" Falias called out in warning to the Lieutenant as he tried to knock them both out of its path.

Athene picked himself up from where he had flung himself out of the path of the beam, his face pale but solemn as he looked over at the Shade Queen, recognising the thing as being the most dangerous thing out of the Shades there. Noticing another nice-sized rock nearby, Athene scooped it up before lobbing it in the Shade Queen's direction (Finsternis), the stone looking at least like it was flying in the right direction.

Part of him was wondering if he wouldn't do better closer up though, knowing that if he wanted to try using his magic on the thing then he was going to have to get closer, too far away from where he was currently.

Firstly though he glanced to Nysa, to see if the other was okay.

Athene HP: 50/50
----------------------------------------------

Try to shift both himself and the Nega-Lieutenant out of the beam's path had been something impulsive, not something that Falias really been planning.

But he hadn't liked the look of the beam that had headed in their direction and as the other had attacked the Shade - part of him had felt that he should try and return the favour.

"Sorry" he muttered as he started to pick himself up, only to be sent sprawling again as the Shade that had been knocked down earlier rushed at him. He landed awkwardly and tried to swing out at the thing that was rushing him, but the Shade seemed to avoid his feeble attempt with a laugh.

Watch out? What did he mean by... oh. Amethyst's eyes went wide when he saw the beam strike the exact same spot where he was standing mere seconds ago had Falias not thrown himself on him to get him out of its path. "It's okie. Thanks for watching my back."

He picked himself up, offering the Page a small smile for his effort before moving to assist him when the Shade began to assault him again. Taking advantage of the Shade's semi-distracted state when it stopped to laugh at Falias' attempts at retaliation, he swung his fist at its side, sending it back a couple of feet.

Somehow, when the crazy woman attacked a second time, Leto managed to avoid it. Apparently the Senshi of Camouflage had a horseshoe up her butt!

Leto couldn't help but laugh much louder than she had intended to when Damocles called her "m'lady" because what was even the ********; Leto was the least lady-like lady in the history of ever and poor Damocles was so precious it was hilarious. "Hear that, Al-Janah? He called me m'lady. Maybe you should take some notes!" She winked at him before spinning on her heal and driving her other boot into the side of a shade that had snuck up on the group.

Being lucky enough to have avoided yet another attack from the Shade Queen did not mean that her teammates were in the same boat. She immediately turned to make sure all three of them were not terribly injured if they were hit by the blast. Then, catching a glimpse of Polaris using her giant white wings to push herself above the crowd and to attack... That was when Leto finally made her decision.

Like hell if she was going to let gross White Moon Senshi be the ones to take out this Queen. No no, the Dark Mirror Court needed to rise to glory, and she was hellbent on leading them there- she had a point to prove after the Negaverse made 'changes' to their Alliance. So without any more thought on the matter Leto pushed herself from Eternal to her Princess form, enormous black wings sprouting from her back. She was convinced she would never ever get used to that. She offered a quick smile to the group of boys and summoned her crystal to her hands to call her attack.

"Leto Crystal Power Concealment!" And when the attack was completely formed, she took off into a run and eventually allowing her wings to propel her forward and upward- she still wasn't entirely sure of how to control her power or her flight, so it was clumsy and awkward and she eventually dropped down much closer to the Shade Queen. For the next minute and a half, the large group of Powered people would be lost in the illusion of her jungle. But maybe, just maybe, the Shade Queen wouldn't be able to target anyone on the battlefield individually. So while it may impair some people's senses, she hoped it would still be helpful..... To Order and Chaos alike, because in that moment they needed to work together.

However, her close proximity to the Shade Queen probably meant that she was clocked upside the head with flying metal debris. Whoops!

-----

Action: Focusing on her crystal, Princess Leto can force the illusion of a jungle in an AOE within 150 ft of her on all sides. There area appears to be covered in tall, thick grasses with a light fog in the air, and jungle noises accompany the setting. This attack lasts for 90 seconds.

Effect: While in the area that the 'jungle' covers, allies (Chaos) and Leto are completely camouflaged and allows them to attack their enemies while they are preoccupied with the new setting. The higher the rank of the ally, the more camouflaged they are. White Moon Senshi and Knights have a difficult time seeing their opponents and can be easily distracted with the illusion of a jungle surrounding them (sights and sound). The higher the rank of the Order opponent, the more easily they can see through the illusion and are less easily distracted by it.

"I think it'd be worse if I just left ********* wherever someone dropped her, don't you?" Her calm retort to the boy questioning ********* presence was out of her mouth before she could stop to think of how... vaguely familiar that was. Another boy who knew whom ********* was. Of course, this child was at least a senshi... Frowning slightly to the boy briefly, she turned a full on scowl to the knight beside him. The child wasn't a Nega... well, no questions there, Sherlock. "Some of my teammates are... younger, so I'm more than familiar with that sort of aura. His isn't an odd-ball one like yours was," she added in a level of self-defense. Not that it made her feel any better that a child was here but... now was hardly the time and place.

....really? A shot at her sight? "How original." Her pale eyes rolled. "You'd probably be surprised just what I can see," she added, flicking him a sardonic smile before returning her attention to the little Shade. Just in time to find herself back peddling away from the heatwave, making her huff. "At least none of them seem as... annoying as their leader." Pausing for a moment, she gave a small shrug--though mindful of the guardian on her shoulder. "If you see one that looks like me though... give me a heads up? I... only see them as copper energy."

Hey, he was the one to bring up her sight! --oh now what....

Thick grass sprouted up around them, making Metis' perception of the area warp. Green aura for plants but... she shook her head. Too sudden to be natural. Whose magic could do something like this? "Well. I can probably see anything incoming a lot better than you can now." Copper in green. Bonus? Unfortunately, it'd still take her a moment or two to make sure she wasn't attacking a real person....

The Page's smile was broad and thrilled. "So I guessed right? Epic!" Score for the newbie? Ok, so maybe Valhalla didn't suck that much at descriptions. Or it was luck. Whatever. More pressing matters. Fists raised, keeping a little bit of a distance between herself and the other's Shade, she was for a moment surprised by the introduction. "Themiscyra... um, of Mars," she threw in lamely, unsure if that was important or not. Her blank pause was jolted away as the Shade grabbed onto Ganymede, and with a curse the Page took a few steps forward to help--

Only then there was stuff around her. Thick grass around her. Fog. Jungle. Sounds and everything. Themiscyra was thrown for a momentary loop, stumbling back a few steps as she took in the sensory impact around her. Unless the b***h queen caused this... Knights couldn't do something like this, right?

"Dude can... someone tell the nature magic-er there's a way better time and place for this s**t?" Preferably when they don't have sneaky Shades and a mass area attacking Queen after their asses? Though, in the user's defense, the confusion had been how Themiscyra had gotten out of range of the damn heat wave... And winced to see the other girl had gone down due to magic and Shade.

The small Shade had gotten back up, and with still a twinge of unease, she hesitated. But.... well, its original was right there. Near her. Trying to keep her focus on that fact, she moved forward, ducking in behind the Shade--whom seemed to be far more intent on its original--and landing a hard kick to the Shade's back. Her stomach recoiled at the contact, and she couldn't keep herself from wincing. "....being just as deadly as larger ones does not make this any easier...." It still felt like she just kicked a child. "This was far easier against Iris' clone...."

-----------------------------------------

Seeing how Ganymede was taken down by her Shade, Themiscyra wasn't exactly in the position to help her out. At that distance, anyways. Grumbling, she swung a good punch to a closer Shade instead, venting a minor bit of anger. She had issues with people being hurt around her, yeah, but the fact she was in the thick of a real fight had Themiscyra.... excited. She could punch and kick as hard as she wanted. No one to b***h or yell at her for it. It only occurred to her then just how therapeutic this could be.

Ida HP: 50

USE AND ABUSE ME!!!
Character: Eternal Sailor Ida
Power description:
Etneral Sailor Attack: Heavenly Orchid Arrows!
[What it does] An out-flung hand casts a trail of petals that form a bow-like shape. She takes it up and uses it to fire arrows of light with hardened petals as arrow heads. The arrows have an 'aura' of power to them and explode on contact. The explosion is more concussive, causing a pressure that can push a target backwards a foot or two, but doesn't do much in the way of actual damage. Unbalanced enemies could be knocked over, if they were caught unaware. Particularly heavy opponents may not be moved by the attack, but could be distracted or slowed by the pressure of it. Each arrow takes a lot of power to cast and her limit is three, which exhausts her and can force her to retire until she's rested.

The call on her senshi phone had rung in her head for a while before she had managed to get to it. It was hard to escape familial obligations... after all, what was she supposed to tell them? That a phone in her head was going off and would they please just give her a moment to transform and answer it?

By the time she managed to escape and find a safe place, she was twitchy with anxiousness. She only got texts or calls on her phone when something was going on, something that needed her attention... and sure enough, it was Athene calling her to the lake. Now that she was Ida once more, she could feel it... it wasn't chaos, or dmc, but it beat her senses almost painfully.

The trek to the lake had been made quickly and uneventfully for Ida. It seemed that everyone was here and her first view of the scene left her wide eyed and confused. What was THAT? She must be the source of the shades, they flocked to her like ants to a queen. And everyone was attacking her... she felt mixed signatures in all directions.

Well, no time to waste. Rushing forward, the flower senshi got as close as she could, dodging the heat ray or whatever it was the monster blasted the crowd with.

"Heavenly Orchid Arrows!" She called out as she threw up an arm. A trail of petals formed and joined into a bow that she swept up, pulling an arm back as though drawing the string. A light formed between her hands, shaping itself into an arrow, and without hesitation, she let it go aimed right at the giant woman in the lake. The arrow roared towards her, exploding as it made contact.

He'd been swept up by the stream the last time she'd attacked but this time -- under his girlfriend's watchful eyes, near people he knew, with the threat of embarrassment hanging over his head -- Al-Janah deftly dodged.

And then the forest sprouted up around him, and he couldn't help grinning at Leto as he went for another attack.
