(Yep... doesn't change the fact that you're taunting me, though. crying ) Icarus grinned and gave her a thumbs up; he'd have given two, but he was still holding his own sketch. "Looks great to me! Me, I'm not exactly a music connoisseur; if the lyrics have fire in it, I like it. I do play the ocarina, though," he added as an afterthought.

"I'll show you sometime; it's a wind instrument," Icarus explained. (On that note, if you want an awesome game with an ocarina in it, I suggest Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They came out with a remake of it for 3DS. YOU WILL PLAY THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS LoZ! YOU WILL!!!)

((When i got my gamecube I got a free game of Zelda. Guess what I did with it? I gave it away.)) Katie sighed looking at the fire. She wondered what else she could do to it. But then the bell rang. "Yay! Time to cook." She said happily. She signed the picture at the bottom and handed it over to the teacher to be graded. "I'll show you where your next class is before going to mine." Katie said to Icarus.

(Did you actually TRY it or did you just toss it right off the back? Because either way, that's blasphemy.) "Okey dokey," Icarus agreed cheerfully before handing in his own sketch. The teacher quirked an eyebrow. "Mister Jackson, is there any particular reason you handed in a black piece of paper?" "Because to me, arson is the only true art, but I figured that wouldn't go over well, so I made a picture of burnt paper instead!"The teacher stared a moment, then seemed to accept that, letting the pyromaniac go.

((Yes I played like 30 mins of it before trading it for Pokemon Colosseum.)) Katie giggled before grabbing his hand to lead him to his next class before she went to her home ec class. At the door of his class, Katie lead him to the door before quickly going to her class.

(Still, I suppose it could be worse... you could've traded it for some game that was horrible.) Icarus, meanwhile, sat down in Mythology; apparently they were covering phoenixes today, his favorite animal.

((Yep)) Katie walked out of her class with a box full of cupcakes. She walked to Icarus;s class. It was the end of the day and she wanted to know if he needed a ride home.

"Heya Katie!" Icarus greeted cheerfully, obviously about to ask her something before his somewhat limited attention span was redirected to the baked goodies she was holding. "Those cupcakes look delish; you make them yourself?"

Katie blushed at how cheerful he was before she cleared her throat. "Well yes I did. I like working alone when in the kitchen. I made three different cupcakes. One's a cookies and cream, another is a peanut butter one and the last a maple bacon cupcake." She said showing off the three rows of cupcakes. "But that's not what I came over to tell you. I wanted to ask if you needed a ride? I have my own car." She offered while also offering some cupcakes. ((Yes I have make some of those. I made the cookies and cream one resently and it was amazing! I made the bacon one at work though.))

(Huh... interesting.) Icarus took one of the offered cupcakes, thanking her for it, before considering the question. "...Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea - I had to walk here, and kept having to backtrack at wrong turns, even with a map. Besides, there were a couple of things I wanted to talk to you about in private anyway." Like the fact that they were both mutants - he figured it'd be nice to have at least one person outside the family who he didn't have to keep his nature a secret from.
