O: *gasp* Have any of you guys played Bioshock: Infinite? Because that totally feels like what's happening in the RP with the giggling. One of the characters basically opens up tears in the fabric of time and space to create portals into alternate timelines/dimensions so you end up hopping around all these variations of the same setting and you can sometimes see other timelines ghosting into the one you're in. Anyway, I'm not sure how to post from here since I was just going with the flow of what Luc and Nari were planning but if you don't remember where you wanted it to end then....??
Do we have any plans yet on how we're going to tie this up and transition to the next one? Were we just ending the current one and starting a new one in the new universe with their altered characteristics as if that's the way it always was? Or are we going to have some kind of alternate universe shifting event where the two versions sort of collide with each other temporarily so our characters get this weird feeling from their alternate selves before they diverge again? Wow did that even make sense?

I've never played Bioshock, but those ideas sound similar to a plot point I had in mind, using the momentary shifting event.
so, as for Kari when we get into the revision/retcon. since she's somewhat of a drifter and witch/druid/gypsy... I'm thinking she really doesn't like Twi. in fact, she thinks the Undead are unnatural. which, technically they are and even Twi doesn't deny that. she'll probably be even more offended that he's a Shaman.
I'm trying to think of how she would relate to the Kuros. she's used to discrimination. being an Orc, and all. but it isn't like the Kuros won't also discriminate against her, so they aren't gonna be the "safe haven" type of group. but the common enemy trope makes enough sense.

Kari being a slave? that would clash with alot of what I had in mind.
it also instatly makes her opposed to the Kuros. so I guess she's sort of a rogue element, even more so than Twi is.
why do I have a knack for this? xp

It doesn't have to be her that's a slave; maybe she knows someone. Some other circumstance can also force her into the work, because as you said, there isn't really any reason for her to willingly associate with the Kuros.
As for your knack, you like playing rebellious characters.

how about, she made some sort of special pact in order to hunt down and slay a coven of Vampires that cursed and/or killed some of her tribe members. but, the contract involves her pledging a certain amount of service to the Kuros in return. as part of her Orcish traditions, she is honourbound to make good on her agreement (despite it being an illegal contract), and so she seeks to honourably free herself from the contract while her debtor is using dirty business techniques to keep her locked in indentured servitude.

Twi - Unsure (or rather, I can't speak for both what I intended and he interpreted). You could assume Nari's already within the figure-dome, or you can assume she's outside and finds a way in, or you have it so only Twi is seeing the strange figures (but that will change quickly).
