Jerry was relieved about the headsets- maybe he could ask Mark about them when he returned to Scotland but that thought was short lived as he spotted their destination. Following hesitantly behind the other two Suns, he tried to kick some dried mud off of his jumpsuit, wobbling as he looked about the lobby.
"This... doesn't look like the Sahara...." Was it a psyche out? Or an illusion?
He kept close to Jordan and Rep all the same. "Just... S-start at the bottom, work our way up?" Seemed logical to him.

The building definitely didn't look like the Sahara. "Illusion or error?" Jordan muttered. He was going to be on his guard either way. The armored figure didn't stick around long enough to be asked any questions. Of course not. That would have been too easy.
Jordan took a deep breath and tried to get his nerves to settle. "Let's head for the lowest one," he said. "We can move up as we go. If something comes down from the top, we have a better chance of noticing and intercepting it than if we start from the top and move down." He headed for the stairs. The fingers of his right hand flexed absently, but he didn't summon yet. The space was too enclosed; carrying Ferros would make it harder to move around.

The logic in starting at the bottom was sound, it would at least clear their path as they headed up the building. If this even was a ******** building, they'd been told it was the sahara, for that reason and that reason alone he was assuming for the time being that they were dealing with an illusion not unlike the time they thought they were all ******** actors in some television show.
"I'm guessing it's an illusion." he said.
At the top of the first flight of stairs they seemed to find themselves in a cafeteria of sorts, albeit a completely wrecked one, there had been some sort of struggle and the bloody fingerprints all over everything were less than heartening. It made him want to summon Tracey immediately, but the only thing keeping him from doing so was the lack of space, maybe at a push he could summon the axe in here, but with the two other hunters with him it wasn't really a viable option in the present.

The sound of groaning at least had Jerry immediately summoning Roar without hesitation. The lock hanging from the weapon's skull's nose jangled as more and more undeads started to limp their way. "W-well... well I think... that explains what happened?" He managed before his finger twitched on the trigger-
The weapon gathered light as was usual before just the smallest of yips erupted, knocking the zombie back, dazed at best.

The cafeteria was a shambles, tables overturned and blood pooled and smeared everywhere. "Looks like somebody had a party, anyway," Jordan said, looking around for any hints of what might have caused all this or where the bodies might have gotten to.
The second question presented its own answer directly, in the form of several staggering, groaning figures wearing Hawaiian shirts. Their pallor and the holes in their chests and stomachs told Jordan immediately that these were not actually survivors, and it was with a sense of relief that he summoned Ferros, moving to the side to get enough space to swing the huge hammer.
The zombie that changed course to get at him was knocked back halfway across the room for its trouble.

Rep assumed that the fashion challenged zombies had been lured forth by the presence of Jerry who was clearly their kin separated only by the fact he was alive and breathing where they were not. But alas, their tearful reunion was not to be as it devolved into a fight the way so many family gatherings were rumoured to.
Tracey snapped. And faced with little alternative, he did - carefully.
The first zombie to come his way almost got cleaved entirely in two, the charge lancing through the axe right into his nervous system. It felt so ******** good. It had been way too long.
"I think we are doing these ******** a service."

Floor 5 While he was distracted by Roar's disappointing blast, another zombie lurched up behind him. With a yelp he staggered away, glancing around frantically for the one he had weakened.
Nice shirt! was all he thought as he pulled the trigger. The blast that followed as no where near his weapon's usual fair, but at least it was better than the first.
"G-get yourself together, Roar! I know, they have great shirts but-"
Shut up and AIM dumbass, the howler snarled in frustration.

Jordan turned to stare at Jerry. "Did you really just say -- "
It's not dead yet, Ferros growled.
That won't last. The zombie's claws scraped against Ferros's barrel as he swung again, but it tumbled limply across the floor like a broken doll and didn't get up again, dissipating a moment later.
"One down," Jordan called.

Another blast from Roar popped out like a disappointing toot. It was even worse than the first one, sending the zombie staggering backward and ruffling the fallen napkins around them. "I'm... I'm working on it over here!"
The other Zombie coming at him lunged, grabbing a hold of his arm and the hunter spun around frantically to try to pull himself away with a yelp.

Jordan moved over to prod the second zombie attacking Jerry with the spike on top of Ferros's head. Distracted, it turned to scrabble at the hammer; Ferros fed on its Fear with a gleeful snarl, and the sense of inner heat radiating from him increased.

Close quarters and fleshy human shaped zombies seemed to lend well to weilding what happened to be an enormous parody of a serrated meat cleaver. He swung at the next zombie and the results were not particularly clean but at least they were undeniably effective.
The kick of fear was the most satisfying part, and he closed his eyes with a deep satisfied inhale as every rune on Tracey blazed bright red.
"Could get ******** used to this." he said as he prepared to repeat his twist of the blade.

Floor 5 With a snarl, Jerry swung Roar around like a massive, spiked bat, knocking the zombie's head clear off.
As the thing crumpled, starting to dissipate, he reached forward to try to pull the shirt off as the undead burnt away into Fear ash, "Hey, this one's got birds all over it!"
His gleeful pillaging was short lived, though, as a sixth zombie lurched for him, and he was forced to drop the shirt in favor of his weapon.

I want to flame, Ferros hissed, agitated.
Not in close quarters like this. Too much chance of hitting the others or setting the room on fire, Jordan answered. Hang onto it.
Ferros whined but subsided somewhat.
Jerry's comment distracted Jordan from the zombie still scrabbling at Ferros's barrel, held stupidly at arm's length. "No way. You are NOT bringing any of those shirts home, dude."
