Kyne's eyes drifted over the edge of the ship with amazement, though his face was blank and emotionless and his arms were crossed. He turns his head to Laxion and his face lights up, feeling welcome to the team. Thank you for accepting me. He lets a little embarrassed chuckle as he recoils from the compliment. Oh this, yes, I was afraid the Peacekeepers Blacksmith would not be able to capture my image. He said with a big smile, sarcastically. Giving him a friendly nudge on the shoulder, he points up to Ruby.

Maybe nightfall darkens skies
And maybe teardrops stain our eyes

Scarlot was peering off the edge of the Lightcleaver, watching the city slowly move further and further away from them on her left. To her right she saw the sun getting lower to the horizon, a golden glow taking over them. Then Ruby came by her side, and Lottie had to admit, she liked the comfort, knowing that the team was going to help her. "Are you sure?" she said, but then Ruby insisted, she didn't sleep much, ever. She nodded in reply to her as she left her, but then promising her sister's safety, to which she smiled and said "Thank you".

Meanwhile, Laxion was happy to see Kyne so pleased, it was almost like a wall between them had been broken, and a link had been made. But his short delight was shaken away with the nudge to the shoulder, looking to where Kyne gestured he saw Ruby taking her time on the upper deck. It made Laxion feel nervous, he knew there were some protections on the flying vehicle, but nothing that would stop one from falling off. Lottie continued to peer over the deck, watching the land below them move passed them. Laxion then used the staircase up to the upper deck, the smooth railing was delicate to the touch as he ran his hand along it on the way up. "Ruby" Laxion said, looking up, squinting as the almost holy light shun down upon his face. "If it was me up there, my stomach wouldn't be so nervous. You on the other hand..." he said, suggesting the fact how he was half air elemental, so could easily keep his balance up here, but she was not... and she was tired, he could tell. Yet, he knew she wouldn't sleep either.

Ruby

Ruby was so concentrated on the white sometimes transparent coverage below and the light rays contrasting the cloud that Laxion became immune to her senses. His voice was filled with distress because the child was unstable against the wind current that started to pick up. She gripped the railing tighter and smirked at the male brushing off her wary mood. "Don't fret about me so much. I know I'm reckless, but I swear I won't fall. I will go back inside if you want me too." A chuckle escaped from her lips wondering if she should ask him about the Scythe woman who defended them earlier. Maybe they bother arrived to the same conclusion deeming the hood female as the old friend, Alexis. After this detour is over they have a chance to find her and reunite the original Team Exiler. Kyne could be introduced to her and they would be unstoppable or so she pictured in her mind. "How Kyne adjusting? You two seem to be getting along quiet well."

The albino openly yawned and blinked her raccoon eye slowly knowing that she hadn't rested properly with in two days. She swayed back and forth to keep her mind functioning long enough to at least hold out a private conversation with her best friend.

The sun felt warm on his skin, Kyne took in another deep breath of fresh air. The various metal and buffed leather of his new outfit gleamed the powerful light of the sun above the clouds. There was still another layer of clouds above the aircraft but nearly half. It was one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen. Kyne looked closer to the heavens to see if he could find his parents.

It would seem the feeling to go there that night was more than coincidence. Kole... Kyne looked up so see Ruby yelling about him or something to Laxion, but Kyne was more interested in the scenery. He sits down on the hot relaxing sun and unrolls his Sphere Grid, continuing his level up.

As Ruby gripped the railing and dismissed Laxion's worry, and even asked if she should go inside, he chuckled lightly and he guessed he could let her be for now. "Okay, you can enjoy it up there a bit longer" as he waved a hand of dismisal. About Kyne, though, he looked over to him whilst he enjoyed the warm rays of the evening sun and he said "Yeah, it seems things are a lot smoother now" he then turned tof ace her and gave her a smile

suddenly he felt his belt vibrate, it was the small pocket on it for his phone. Pulling it out and looking at it, he raised his brows and said "Well, looks like i've got a miscall from a while ago. Give me a few" he said, as he walked over to the other side of the deck ebtween Ruby and Kyne.

Hew recognised the number, it was Nyru's, they hadn't spoken in a few days now, what with all the Lilly worry. Bringing the phone up to her ear he awaited for the message to play to him. And the moment he heard Nyru on the other end say his name there was a dire tone, aching at the back of Nyru's throat. It made hie stomach suddenly drop off the side of the Zeppelin without him.

Some minutes went by, and Laxion stood so still at the edge of the deck looking over at the descending sky it was like watching a statue. When he did however, finally remove the phone from his ear, his arm lowered so slowly it was like his limbs had gone numb. He then shakily locked the phone with his thumb and somehow managed to shove it back into its pocket. Staring off into the sky he could still remember Nyru saying "We're been framed for murdering the queen"... and "We're hiding"... but what hurt him most was "don't call me back, please... don't worry".

Those words haunted him, and the second worst part was that Claudia was involved too, Ruby's sister was also framed for murder and on the run! ow would he tell her?! How would he go against Nyru's request to not tell her... or she would get too worked up and make too much of an uproar. But how could he hide it. Swallowing he brushed his sides down and tightened his jaw. He cleared his throught, like trying to get rid of that nervous invisible ball trying to choke your throat when your holding back emotions that need relief.

Ruby

Laxion let her have her way and extended her amount of time in the open air. It was like she was a teenager with a curfew, but she knew she wanted what was best for her health. The element disregarded Kyne, however, she knew he felt relieved to have another companion to give the team equilibrium again. The dynamic trio was ready to kick a** and take names, although Alexis would be just as useful. Ruby wasn't fooled by her cloaked disguise and wondered why she was being so distant if the girl who kept saving them is in fact her? The albino stared at the glistening clouds while the sun's rays leaked through the cracks creating a still image. If she was more artist, she would sit down for hours on end and repaint this scene and later hang it in her room. Laxion went off on a smiling tangent when his phone vibrated in his pocket which he then excused himself to answer the missed message.

She was going to be noisy but decided to stay grounded as her friend sorted out his own ordeals. The voice from the end wasn't audible to her, but Laxion's movements were interrupted as uneasy. Naturally, Ruby became worried and let go of the railing to head over to the man who is now a statue. He never froze like that not even if a wild beast was intent on trampling him. Whomever called him shed some bad news on his shoulders for him to bare until he figures out how to solve the problem. She hobbled slowly towards him only to drape on his half armored arm for support. With a winded voice, she asked, "Who called? You seem almost disturbed by it." She glanced up into his stone set face hoping for the truth and not a lie.

Maybe the conversation would be better suited inside because the skinny framed female was about to collapse. She jerked on his arm which could be perceived as wanting attention, but in reality she's trying to stay standing. Although, his empty expressionless eyes scared her because he never acted this upset about a phone call, if only she knew the severity of the situation.

The last gem was pushed into place. The power spheres were perfectly round precious minerals focused into existence by some otherworldly force. Unknown as to what exactly, Kyne has found it beneficial to collect them after certain milestones, such as battles or jobs, and allocate them in a personal sphere grid. The more gems, the stronger, faster, smarter, and even more durable Kyne would become. He may even learn new skills, is to why the Elfire was so effective against Kole. In his recent progress has taught him a minor Heal Other spell and a minor speed boost. Nothing special for now.

Kyne turned his head slightly to catch sight of Ruby and Laxion with his peripheral vision. His ear twitched and he could hear someone over a phone but he could neither recognize the voice nor understand the message. Then Ruby's voice confirmed that it was bad news, so Kyne turns his head completely to see Laxion clearly. Laxion was frozen in shock to something. Kyne would not interfere and put himself into the business of the others on his own accord. However, all they had to do was ask for his assistance if need be.

It took Laxion at least a few moments if not more to come to his senses. It was hard to believe that only minutes ago he had been feeling calm and happy again for the first time in a while, feeling at home as Team Elixer once again, back on the Lightcleaver, this time commanding it as if he were Lucas Purevelion. The voice message was still playing over his mind, like a tape recorder that was jammed on replay. Laxion swallowed, like it was every option he could tell Ruby went down the drain. Slowly, and not so smoothly, his head turned to face her and he he closed his mouth, breathing steadily through his nose. "Uh-" he said, swallowing again. She tugged on his arm, but he could barely recognise what it would normally mean, he shook it off whilst other matters shrouded his mind with a veil. "I-" he attempted again. What should i tell her?! he thought to himself. The breeze brushed past his face and made his turned his head to look over to Kyne, he was loyal, he had become the new team member... he could easily tell Kyne the situation, but not Ruby. He looked back to the shorter, lilly-haired soldier and felt his chest feel like the armour her wore was trying to constrict him. I can't lie to her... he finally admitted to himself. Laxion placed both hands on her shoulders and said "it was Nyru..." he began.

There was another brief pause as his eyes wasn't sure where to look until he finally stared her in the eyes and said "They got into some trouble-" he suddenly found it hard to continue, he didn't want Ruby to be worried, not after she'd only just found her sister, and not now when they'd only just started to know each other. Laxion then got the courage and said "don't worry, okay, please don't..." his voice wasn't the most stable either, however... "But- They... Nyru... Claudia... their queen's Advisor wants their heads. They're hiding, but they're safe. They're safe and they're with Adi and Nyru's Sister from the Occult. So please... Ruby-"

Was as far as he could get. At that moment he loosed his grip on her shoulders and looked away to stare to Kyne, not sure on what else to say, or think, or do.

Ruby

His reactions were delayed and his movements tense, but some he managed to project a sound. She could see the lump of saliva slither down his throat do to his subconscious nerves. Glancing around at the others of course, counted as a sign of hesitation and she hoped he wouldn't lie again. They are comrades and he should be more open with her despite her good or bad verbal; maybe physical response. The elemental stuttered once more before gripping her shoulders and staring her dead in the eyes. He condescended the news on her as if she was a small child, but it was unintentional. Apparently, Nyru contacted him and told him how he and Claudia were framed for the murder of queen. A federal offense where the sentence is death. In the expand of two to three days, they been on the run obscuring themselves trying to prove their innocence. The gypsy girl named Adi, Nyru's sister, and the Occult are assisting them but her worries aren't drowned out.

Laxion lifted his firm hold, erected his armored body, and turned away from her. Ruby had to analysis the information that was dropped on her and reached out for her friend only to pull away. "At least you weren't dishonest with me this time..." The albino lingered and began limping over to Kyne and conversed with Laxion at the same time. "Although, I worry everyday. Not just about them, but you too." Once she approached the burly male, she placed her hand gently on her masculine arm and said, "Take care of him and our guest for me. Please." With that note, she struggled to the ladder and climbed down.

Entering her unused room, the girl collapsed onto the bed and closed her eyes. Curling up into a ball of comfort, Ruby began to cry and soon feel unconscious in no time flat. It was more peculiar that she slept on the bed instead of the floor and if Laxion saw he would become concerned.

The smell of smoke burned in Kyne's nose. The room he stood in was in flames and people run past the doorway outside in panic. Kyne rushes to help them as the flames do not affect him but the canyon in front of him is far to wide to jump. Laxion and Ruby grab him by both shoulders and launch Kyne to save them. When he lands, Kyne turns around to face Kole attacking the others. The burning building collapses to the sound of a metal door slamming. Kyne jumps awake in his bunk sweating.

He dries himself off with a towel and heads outside to investigate the disturbance. Even with such a large frame, his footsteps were silent pacing down the halls. The sound of pattering bare feet caught echoed. Ruby ran past in an intersecting corridor. The wind made the night especially chilly, Kyne pulled his cloak tighter as he stepped out the barrier of being inside. He simply watched from a distance though as to only ensure she would not get into any touble. The wind made it rather difficult to light his cigarette but his body heat kept it alive. The view was beautiful of the starry night sky.

Kyne was very helpful, even now he seemed to be the most honourable of them, having the best outlook even in the darkness. But Laxion was msot surprised with Ruby's reply, she wasn't angry, she wasn't even ona warpath to find her sister. With Kyne on the elemental's shoulder, he shook back the emotions and looked at him, he said we had to move onwards, help even. Laxion swallowed and said "We would be moving far out of the way, the Land of crows is days away" he then blinked and looked over Kyne's shoulder were Lottie stood. She was listening and watching, not wanting to be a bother.

Lottie was even becoming scarred, she felt horrid that her saviours were ill with their own grave news, but she couldn't help but think about her sister, the blue guild was going to take her and... experiment perhaps! The white guild wanted to rip a jewel from within her...

"Lottie" Laxion spoke up "we'll get your sister first!" he swallowed. He looked at Kyne and Ruby, he then said "We'll send a message to Lucas, he'll be able to tell us what's going on - i hope. We'll keep heading for the Spires, once we save Lottie's sister we can make way west for the Land of Crows. By then, hopefully there mess will have been cleared up".

Laxion had regained some of his maturity just then and there, his eladership skills he had gained in the Asmodius Corps as a soldier.

Ruby

Ruby awoke around midnight, and felt the zeppelin travel through some turbulence. The craft rattled and the albino stood up to investigate the empty area. Her automatic door slid open and she lightly stepped onto the carpet heading towards the ladder. Her brain was still trying to function and out of panic she thought everyone had disappeared. It didn't occur to her that they could be in their rooms sound asleep. The child scurried up the ladder, almost slipping along the way, and jerked the hatch door open. The wind catch the metal door and slammed it down on the surface, however, the noise didn't affect her as she scanned the darkness frantically. After practically getting blown away, Ruby cascaded down the ladder and ran to the control room letting her chest illuminate the path.

When she burst into the cockpit, she began breathing heavily ready to pass out from all the adrenaline that drove her mind. Placing her hands on her head in pain she fell to her knees and began to become unconscious. Claudia's situation stressed her out far to much and earlier she acted denying about it. The truth was that she was afraid of losing another person close her especially when that person is her sibling. Her emotion were enhanced by the jewel so that why she reacted the way she did when she woke up. The girl tried to find the strength to lift herself up, she could let Laxion or Kyne see her in this condition.

Using all her muscles, she erected her self and headed back to her room slowly. She wished the jewel would douse itself, but unfortunately it remained the same light. Lucas would know to to ease her nerves, but he was administering his services to defend them.

(Tell me if its to much.)

Laxion didn't sleep much the following night, he spent most of it tossing and turning like the bed was made of nails. Watching the moon weave between the clouds through the porthole acted like a reminder that most of the time you could only watch on as events unfold before you. Pushing the blanket off he let the cool air touch his skin, and sitting up he rubbed his temples to try and ease himself.

Then there was a sound from outside his room, who on Magic Earth was awake at this ungodly hour. He was, but that was beside the point. He let out a yawn, like he had been deprived of all air for a week. Quietly tip-toeing to the doorway he pulled it open a few inches and after peering through the gap, he put his head through and looked down the corridor. It was Kyne, and whilst staring at Kyne, Laxion heard a sound from Ruby's room. Was both of them awake? Either way, they both seemed okay for now. In the morning they'll be at the Iringod Spires, ready to save Lottie's sister.

_________________________________________________________

The next morning the breeze was calm and cool, the sun was rising over the mountains and the Lightcleaver were slowing down. They were at their destination.

Laxion threw on his armour and was soon out of his bedroom, out on the main deck, he didn't take too much notice of where the others were, he just made his way straight out to the side to look over at the horizon and study the mountains. Knowing today that justice will be served and the Sovereignty won't lay a finger on Lottie's sister. Team Elixer will save the day.

Ruby

Did everyone succumb to a nightmare on the vessel except for Lottie because she never showed herself. She was probably sleep in one of the spare quarters and wasn't a night owl like the rest of them? Ruby tried to recalculate what her dream was about, but sadly her mind reminded an empty shell. Kyne trumpeted passed her without recognizing the light spouting from her chest. Laxion acted the same but when she looked down the crystal had extinguished, and she was able to loosen. There was still a couple hours of sleep left so she took it without hesitation and didn't stern once.

The sun infiltrated her window and lit up her pale skin forcing her to wake up. She yawned, released a small groan, and stood up to stretch ready to greet a new adventure. Scaling the ladder, she got to the zeppelins uncovered top and watched the sun peek over the elapsing mountains. The child had never seen anything so natural and beautiful in her life. The high elevated air nipped at her soft cheeks but surely she would become accustom to it. At least her armor retained some body heat and Kyne was born to be a heating blanket so he could keep them warm if necessary. The turned ready to dock on the side of the mountain and what better way to explore the terrain was to go from the top down.

The element strolled out in his sleek metal attire equipped with his spear for emergencies. Ruby smiled at him hoping that he would forget about yesterdays affairs and worry about the present. They were going to rescue Lilly from the magi's grasp and there wasn't a thing the Blue Guild could do to stop them.
