At first, Amarus genuinely didn't notice that her ally seemed to be having trouble with her staff. After a few tries, though, Amarus couldn't help but realize, and was trying to be polite by not acknowledging her troubles.
She was particularly relieved when her ally healed her again. Amarus nodded her thanks once more, and set in with momentum.

She grinned to herself; she did miss Sorrow and Rage, it's true, but now that she understood she just had to use more than strength alone to wield the massive weapon properly she was doing a lot better. It was promising.
She felt the soothing refreshment of a heal, again, and it only strengthened her resolve anew. This time, she even spoke to her ally: "I am grateful for your assistance," she said, before preparing to attack again.

Myoukin HELLO I love the heals <3 Btw, would you mind terribly using the "TARGET" section of your battle form to indicate whether or not you're actually hitting the boss when you first post, or targeting a player's character (including Kari) for healing? o uo It's making it hard to keep a proper tally without that info ! All this healing was amazing, she'd never had anything like this. Amarus grinned wide: "If you've got me, then I've got all of you," she agreed.
She felt a surge of hope: just like when she'd fought alongside that pup, Van, for the Grail... she had a sense of purpose. It was nice.
Amarus tried this time to spin, using the momentum of the spin to hack into the creature.
