Kiiro nodded and then turned to the woman behind the counter. "Hey, is Laura here at the moment? We'd like to speak to her if that's all right?" The woman pulled a face. "Friends of hers?" Kiiro smiled. "Something like that, yes." The woman then smiled. "Oh I see. All right, come with me a moment, I'll take you to the back where she is. She's just checking stock." Kiiro nodded as she turned back to Amelia with a hopeful smile.
Nate rolled his eyes as he slammed the hatch and opened another one next to it. "Then who'd look after your bloody void?" Kyle smiled. "The void was made to be able to look after itself." Nate still seemed unconvinced. "Right. You know you left the defence low the first time you came here. I only just managed to hack into it today to get it higher. Now it really is impenetrable." Kyle sighed. "I didn't have any doubts in it in the first place." He said as she took off his shirt and changed into a different one that appeared right in front of him.

*Ameillea smiled, "that step one down yay~" She started to lead Kirro again. She begain to think wether or not it was always like that when kirro held her hand. It felt normal, she just seemed more aware now about it. "what a luaren? Can you eat it? Is it a toy? Or is it a people. It's a people most likly, how do you know her?"

Kiiro giggled. "Lauren is the store owner. I know a lot of the stores owners in this town because Evelyn used to take me into town a lot. She isn't much of a socialiser but people like to be around me I think. Dad said I was born with a soothing voice." Which was ironic in itself. "Although Lauren is a siren, so be careful about her voice." The woman led them into a room in the back where hundred of boxes were being stacked everywhere and opened. Lauren walked over to them with a smile. "Can I help you both?" Her eyes thinned a little. "Kiiro? Its your aura although you don't look like yourself." Kiiro giggled. "I had a body switch. Lauren, I was wondering if you could do us a favour." Lauren smiled more. "And what's that my darlings?" Kiiro smiled. "We were wondering if you could give us a one or two day job so that I could get enough money to buy this little girl another plushie." Lauren laughed a little. "Well of course but I could just give you the money myself if you'd like." Kiiro shook her head. "I don't want to feel like I'm taking money from you. It'd be nice to earn it." Lauren brought her hands to pull down her tight pencil skirt. "Well, I suppose I can think of something for you both to do."

*Ameillea clapped, yay she wa going to earn her first money! And with kirro, and she would get a plushy. Things were deffently looking up for her now. She wondered though if this women would only give stinkly little kid jobs though becuse of there conditions... Knowing lauren couldn't... wait. "what a siren?" She asked looking up to kirro.

Kiiro quickly turned to Amelia. "I'll tell you in a moment." Lauren looked to them both, confused for a second before she turned around and pointed to where all the people were unpacking boxes. "I suppose the best job for you two would be to help my employees unpack those boxes and put them into the appropriate piles." She looked back to Kiiro. "Will you be all right with the work? I know that you're blind." Kiiro nodded with a smile. "That's why Amelia's here to help me. She's my eyes. I'm her voice." Lauren practically giggled. "Oh my you two are adorable." She then pointed a several boxes in the corner. "Start with those ones." Kiiro nodded then turned back to Amelia to guide her. As they started unpacking boxes and Lauren had gone back to her office Kiiro whispered to Amelia. "Sirens are basically mermaids, although can go onto land and have the choice of having legs or a fin. They've been known to sit on beaches or on rocks and sing to lead sailors to their deaths." She nodded. "In the same way that Succubus' use their bodies to lure men, Sirens use their voices."

*Ameillea thought about it for a second, now she wondered. Why would they lure men in the first place. What was it they were after... food? Probably it would make much sense. She nodded, "like the karen lady with glasses at home." She nodded, "i get it." She got back to work.

Kiiro smiled. "Although Lauren is harmless. Her mother however did do a lot of things I just described. Yokai these days are much more docile. But there was a time when all Yokai wanted to do was take out their anger on the humans for kicking them out. The few Yokai that managed to get into the human world often caused a lot of danger for humans and just wanted to see them suffer. There were a few Yokai who kept in hiding though. It's believed that a large majority of Yokai come from Hell itself." She giggled. "But who knows. They could just be saying that to make the humans look better."

*Ameillea thought about it. "momma says everything has to be vorn or die at least once. Even angels becuse the living become dead to be placed in heaven or hell as a demon or angel. And there judgment decided wether or not as a angel if they are re-- in... car nated. while demons burn in hell forever." She smiled, "moma is really good at that stuff. She teaches me sometimes... at least she used too."

Kiiro nodded as she ripped open another box. "Demons are obligated to know a variety of things before they're released into this world. Although your mother is different because she was born from a woman instead of a fire. And what a hellish person your grandmother was..." She sighed. "Your mother is a demon that other demons call a Hell virgin. This itself is good and bad." She stopped for a moment. "Your father of course is now the infamous Cale. Born from the forbidden couple Ryuk and Rem." Kiiro suddenly frowned. "I'm sorry, I keep babbling, don't I." Truth was there was a lot of things that Kiiro knew that she didn't tell anyone because they never asked for her knowledge. Dante always looked to her older sisters and Evelyn was old and wise anyway.

*Ameillea shook her head, "i like it when you talk and tell me stuff. It just makes it so i understand things that much more." She nodded, "were is daddys parents?" She asked. They were actully making good time however, placeing things on the shelves quicker then most the others, in there own little world. "I also lik eyour vioce." She replied happily.

Kiiro then smiled. "Your fathers parents are in the Shinigami realm. Along with your mothers mother too. I'm not sure if your parents have told you but Shinigami are the death gods of the world. They control the timing of death of the humans and Yokai. They can see how long you have left to live and in order for them to live longer they write people's names down in their notebook and gain the years that the person had left onto their own lifespan. You're fathers parents became Shinigami because they were made by both the Seraphim council and the Archdemon council. A love between and angel and a demon is forbidden. And as Shinigami they can't remember who they were in their life nor who their child was. Cale." She nodded. "Your mothers mother was sent there for another reason. She was far too evil for heaven and people feared she'd have too much fun in hell. So she became a Shinigami. Now I think she's the Shinigami queen."

*Ameillea took in all this information and put it all together to fill in gaps here and there. She then had to ask as she pouted, "does... does that mean my daddy will become a shimigiiimy?!" She about looked as if to cry now. She feered she could loose her father... or perhaps she was destend to be placed as one, oh the horror she now feared.

Kiiro giggled a little and shook her head. "For a while neither of the councils knew about Cale's existence. However now they're scared of him. The councils can't hurt or detain him, because he's immune to both. And no other high powers care about the trivial system with angels and demons. There have been a few hunters here and there who have been after him although he's managed to hide and take care of himself. You are in less danger, however that does mean we still need to be careful." She smiled. "Although you shouldn't worry around me. I would never let the Seraphim or Archdemons take you or your father away. Neither would your mother."

*Ameillea hugged kirro and wiped her forming tears away happily, "so it'z going to be okay." She giggled, "otays then!~" She put the last reaming things onthe shelf, "we out of boxes. Are we done now?" She figured this was really easy. And she gained alot out of the talk with kirro just now. She learned much more about the big people stuff.

Kiiro nodded and turned. "I suppose so. I guess Lauren wasn't expecting us to be done so soon otherwise she'd probably have been back by now." She smiled back to Kiiro. "We should go to her office and ask her what to do next."
Although it seemed back at the house that nightmare that Amelia was dreading was just coming into play. As Cale was just coming out of the house to go and look for Kiiro and Amelia he was confronted by none other than Celia wearing her full uniform and her lance towering over on her back. Cale pulled a face. "Is there something I can help you with?" Celia smiled faintly. "I'm sorry to catch you at such an inconvenient time, but the councils have finally come to order to detain you."
