However, the trade mark for incubi and succubi is the power to invade the dreams of their victims to have their sexual encounters that way, or to simply wrap up their target in a purple (for males) or pink (for females) mist. The mist is usually invisible to most creatures but some are able to see it and watch the mist envelop the incubus' victim and turn them from an average schmuck into a crazed sex machine only for the incubus who had 'charmed' them.
The others are fairly common, such as changing from human to demon, flying with their wings, and being able to get claws. Since Incubi aren't exactly strong due to the fact that they use their Mist, they depend on their claws, which they gain no matter what form they are in, for attack and the ability to make a quick escape by flying. However, flying is only accessible when in their original demonic form, which is a pain to switch in and out of.

Not only does he like to be sarcastic with them but he also likes to tease them a little to play with their emotions. Making them go from calm, to furious, to completely infatuated, back to furious again. However Dantes is a grown man, so he won't be behaving like any spoiled child and he won't be interested in playing any games unless it is purely for his amusement.
However you shouldn't be fooled by his 'charming' personality. Deadly and secretive, Dantes can easily grab who he wants and take them as his own. It's best to not let your guard down when Dantes is in the room or else you may become his next victim, or even worse...

I spent much of my childhood playing with the humans in the Over World. though they never really saw of it as playing. I'd tease, pick on, fight, and even haunt those that I wished to. In my teen years hormones started to kick in and that's when I first ventured into the darker demons on my mind. Once I had my "time" with my first victim I was considered a real incubus. As glorious as it is it does have it's down side, such as starving to death by not having sexual encounters and being a complete sex addict.
It wasn't until I reached my adulthood that I found that the rare and unexpected "gift" of parenthood came on to me. It's rare for an incubus or succubus to be able to have children, that being said not only was I surprised but completely against it. Unfortunately I had the same "gift" come up multiple times. Although I still talk to my children -- who are all adults now -- I refuses any relation to the half-blood who claims me as her father.

Hmmm this seems to conflict with the description that I set for Incubus. ._. Here is what I wrote for their race:
◈ xI N C U B U S Incubus are male creatures they feed upon sexual encounters with women and occasionally other men. They have the ability to entrance those that are attracted to him. See Siren for their female counterpart. Appearance: • These creatures are all handsome and generally do not age. They will age though if they do not feed enough. As soon as they feed again, they will revert back to their young and beautiful self. Feeding: • An incubus feeds from the sexual energy of their partners. He gains the most from partners he has intercourse with, so he will usually shoot for this. • If an incubus is starved then he will age until he withers away into nothing. Abilities: • Incubus can entrance their victims through touch. Once under his spell, he can get his victim to do nearly anything he wants. However he cannot make his victim do anything that is not in their power. This effect only lasts a few minutes. • While being fed upon or entranced, the victim will feel as though they are in love with the incubus. Even after the incubus is done with them, the victim may still feel love or a strong feeling of adoration toward their incubus. In stronger individuals, they may recognize that this love is only a result of an ability and nothing more. These individuals are free of the incubus' effects afterward. • There is nothing stopping an incubus from learning weapon styles, fighting styles, and even a bit of magic. Weakness: • If their victim is not sexually attracted to them, the incubus gains nothing and cannot entrance them. • If an incubus falls in love, they become mortal. They retain their abilities and young appearance but they can be killed with any mortal wound. Incubus will often go to great lengths to avoid this but most incubus eventually fall in love and into mortality. Lifespan: • An incubus is immortal and cannot be killed unless he falls in love. They can be wounded but they will regenerate.
Also, succubus are kind of siren in this one. I took out succubus and made them sirens instead since there is some severe overlap.
Ah! I'm sorry, I kind of just moved the powers from Dantes' old profile on to this one. I'll fix it up ASAP and switch some things around.

I really wanted to keep something about his mist so I used it as a result of magic. I feel like the whole mist aspect is a big part of Dantes, if you wish I'll reluctantly take it out.

Infatuation is his fried in this case, because once he touches someone it's puts people in a trance 98% of the time making it to where he can get people to do just about anything that he wants. Of course some individuals -- especially the stronger ones -- can snap out of this deep "love" they hold for the him or not be infected at all. For those rare occasions he has other ways of bending people to his will.
Knowing a small amounts of magic, Dantes is able to trance people through spells of lust. Unlike his touch, people will know when he had placed a spell on them as the spell comes off of him in a way of a purple colored mist that surrounds his victim. This is only used when he wishes to be cautious or stealthy due to the fact that he cannot always get up close and personal with them. Another spell he can do is put his victim or target into a trance like state, leaving them lustful for a couple of minutes before passing out. With that spell mist does not surround the victim, but is instead covered with a form of dust -- otherwise known as "fairy dust" to some cultures.
When "fairy dust" comes into play the target will have nightmares about him, which does eventually drive them insane. If he is starving than Dantes will usually use this tactic to distract the victim of his sexual actions on the victims body.
Not liking to get his hands dirty with fighting he will usually use his sharp wit, spells, and touch. Although he is strongly experienced with close hand-to-hand combat, he will only use this when no other tactic is available since his magic won't always work.

He is able to heal wounds, unless they are totally fatal. He is able to cast simple luck charms, but it is more to entertain than anything. Only in his dreams can he catch glimpses of the future, and even then it is sometimes difficult to figure out when in the future and where in the future it occurs. Gavyn is also able to make appear a ball of light that he can carry in his hands. He believes it is his greatest magic.
Gavyn is also able to speak with the dead. He can also raise the dead, but only for a very brief period of time (only about eight to ten minutes). He can place bad luck on people if he wishes to. His greatest power in this dark magic is a curse he can use to bring immense pain and madness upon a person, so much so that the people will sometimes die.
While this magic sounds fantastic, it takes a heavy toll on Gavyn. Both white and black magic fight for control within him. When he releases one kind of magic, he must also release the other, else he fears it might force it's own way out. The magic has weakened him so that his muscles ache and he has constant headaches. He doesn't expect himself to live very longer, as he is being torn apart from the inside.
Besides his magic, he is also a gifted swordsman, having been in the army. A favorite toy of his that he has been using since he was young is a slingshot. Though replaced many times, his slingshot has always been a faithful companion. It must be noted that because of old war wounds (and the lesser fact that his powers are causing his body to deteriorate) he carries a cane with him. Do not undermine the cane. He will hit you with it.

But, as having been a former general in the army, he is also very serious when it comes to things as tactics and battle. He has always been one to use his cunning before fists. He'd rather be the sly fox than the ferocious lion.
There is an air of pride and wisdom about Gavyn, an up-standingness, but has always been careful when his pride comes in. There's been many an occasion when he has had to swallow it in order to get the upper hand.
Finally, Gavyn doesn't cry. If you see him crying, you are either delirious, it is an illusion, it is trick of the light, or he is in a very unstable emotional state. He has cried too many times in the past to cry now.
↣ M y x S t o r y ▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰ ¯ ¯ ↘ Both Gavyn's parents were sorcerers, but that did not make his family great. Magic only softened the blow of living in poverty. Gavyn's mother was a young woman married to a brutish, older man. His mother, called Evelyn, was not beautiful. She was not ugly. Sometimes she was pretty. For the most part, she was rather plain, with her dark, matted hair and thin frame. Gavyn's father was a large man of muscle, gained from working in the fields, called Abram. He was deeply tanned and had a permanently mean look on his face. His dark hair and face contrasted with his very light eyes, a gene he passed down to Gavyn. As like Gavyn's mother, Abram was neither ugly, nor handsome, but plain. The mean look on Abram's face wasn't for nothing; he was quite mean. Gavyn got his first beating from his father when he was seven. This was a punishment for breaking a bowl. Gavyn wailed, but his mother could do nothing and it made no impression upon his father. They were poor, they had not many bowls. Gavyn had destroyed a luxury and was therefore punished.
When Gavyn was thirteen, he also went to the fields with his father and planted, tended to, and harvested whatever the crop they were designated for that season. Gavyn grew strong and tanned as he worked. As Gavyn grew to the age of sixteen, he was not like his father nor his mother. He was not plain looking, but quite handsome. Soon, Gavyn surpassed his father's strength as the old man grew older. This did him no good, however, whenever a beating was to happen. Gavyn never fought back when his father beat him, he couldn't. Gavyn did, however, intervene when his mother got a beating. He would do his best to take the brunt of it.
Soon, it was only Gavyn in the fields. His father had given it up and now often stayed in bars. This is the time Gavyn started fighting back. He hid the money in every hiding place he could think of, letting his father take as little as possible. One day, in a fit of rage at both Gavyn and his mother, Gavyn's father cursed Gavyn's mother and killed her. So over come with grief, Gavyn killed his father as his father had killed his mother. Quickly realizing he would be blamed for both deaths, he got all the money out of the hiding places, packed all the food and clothing he could carry, and set his home ablaze. Then, he escaped.
Now, to back pedal a bit. Throughout his early life, Gavyn had been honing his powers to the best of his abilities, without any teachers or much spare time. He first recognized his powers at the same age he got his first beating. He would often escape past the planting fields and into unused fields to try and control his magic. Poor Gavyn, though, knew very little about magic. His mother was an elemental user, drawn to the earth element. His father...used a much darker magic. As Gavyn was young, he was open to many kinds of magic. As a child he was very much prone to Light Magic. His first breakthrough in his abilities was when he was eight. It had been the first time he was able to make the glowing orb he is so fond of at present day. His mother did her best to teach Gavyn about magic. Gavyn, in turn, would often use his powers for his mother, such as healing small cuts she might have gotten while cooking and once or twice finding a lost button or earring. It was the day Gavyn had killed his father that was the first time he had ever used Dark Magic.
After Gavyn escaped his home, he tried not to dwell on the Dark Magic that had taken root alongside his Light Magic. That was, inevitably, impossible and, after meeting an older Sorcerer one night on a forest road, Gavyn had been persuaded to try and cultivate both magics inside him. To this day he cannot say whether he regrets this decision or not.
Like any other young man without any place to go, Gavyn joined the army, brimming with many kinds of people. He made many friends and was easy to get along with. While so optimistic, it was a war that shattered him. It was during his first war that he was able to really grasp his Dark Magic and use it to his and his comrades benefits. It was also where he really grasped the use of his White Magic, often going into field hospitals and helping heal his comrades alongside other White Magic users. One night, as he slept, he had a vision of the future, involving his company in a battle of some sort. It was very vivid in his mind when he awoke and, so shaken by the dream, went to his commander about it. His commander, in turn, took the dream seriously. Later that month, the events in the dream began to happen. Conscience of the fact, the commander made some key strategical decisions and not only won the battle, but also depleted the enemy's army as well as keeping low on casualties.
Gavyn was made general when he was 30, his Chaos Magic having become very set in him. He was a compassionate and heroic general, leading to many victories. In defeat he mourned the most, but did not give up hope. He was awarded many medals and became well known throughout the army. Gavyn's military career ended when he was 34. In the dead of night, his army was ambushed. Though they had superior numbers, they were cut down and slaughtered, overwhelmed by the stealth and surprise of the enemy. More than half of their numbers were killed in the short battle. Gavyn was forced to surrender and be taken prisoner. For a year he suffered torture and ridicule at the hands of the enemy, more so than any of his men. When he and his men were finally rescued, there were only a handful of them left, a pitiful 28 of them, including Gavyn.
If the men could be called broken, then Gavyn had been utterly destroyed. He had been tortured in the most horrendous ways, had been ridiculed beyond thought, and had been forced to watch man after man be executed, and the executions had not always been clean and swift. Gavyn had been found in a dark and filthy room. He had no covering and laid limp, his eyes staring at nothing, simply clouded over. It was later found that many ribs were broken, an arm was broken, and there had been evidence of his shoulders being dislocated and set again many times. Other unspeakable acts were found to have been acted out upon him including evidence of magical torture. It would later be found that Gavyn would walk with a limp in his right leg for most probably the remainder of his life.
Gavyn spent three years in recovery at a specialized hospital. For the first year and a half, he would often wake in the middle of the night, soaked with sweat and screaming terribly. For most of that time period he was either in a dazed state or under heavy dosages of tranquilizers. After that first year and a half, Gavyn did begin to make progress and was able to have conversations with people with having a break with reality. It even came down to him having nightmares only a few times a month. Three years after he had been admitted, he was released back into society, a nice government pension under his belt, to help "Compensation for a Weakened Sate of Mind Caused by Factors on the Field", as they phrased it. Gavyn drank a lot the first year out and sobered up the second year.

After three years locked in hospital, his powers and practiced hand have now weakened. The Academy seemed like the perfect place to enroll. Being a former general and a user of Chaos Magic, he was quickly let in. Now all he had to do was stay in. He trained night and day, having few breaks in between. Though he was once very chatty and cheerful, during his first year training at The Academy, he was, instead, very quiet and unsociable. Gavyn fully intended in being picked for The Game, seeing it as the true test of his abilities. He made vast improvements in the first year, working his way up to the level he had been at before he had been captured, his body and mind remembering how to wield both blade and magic. Due to a past with exemplary leadership and battlefield knowledge, Gavyn was found suited to be the leader of Team One.

The magics have weakened him so that his muscles ache and he has constant headaches.

He can be kind of put-offish at first, but if you buy him a drink and share a story, he'll be sure to share stories too. He enjoys joking around and has made it a specialty when it comes to sarcasm.
Her eyes had been a kind of brown color. Gavyn's father was a large man of muscle, gained from working in the fields, called Abram. He was deeply tanned and had a permanently mean look on his face. His dark hair and face contrasted his very light eyes, a gene he passed down to Gavyn.
Other unspeakable acts were found to have been acted out upon his including evidence of magical torture.
Three years after he had been admitted, he was released back into society, a nice government pension under his belt, to help "Compensate for Weakened Sate of Mind Cause by Factors on the Field", as they phrased it. Gavyn drank a lot the first year out and sobered up the second year.

Though he was once very chatty and cheerful, during his first year training at The Academy, he was, instead, very quite and unsociable. Gavyn fully intended in being picked for this particular game, seeing it as the true test of his abilities. ((NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE MY IMAGE ANY SMALLER. This is really stressing me out. Is there any way to make it smaller? Or should I just hide it?
Hey there Hinata! If you have a photobucket account, you can resize and crop the photo to any dimensions you want. If you don't, you can go to Pic Resize and put the image's url (usually ending in .jpg or .png ) and resize it.
Hope that helps!

I have been around for 42 years. I am a Sorcerer and affiliated with Ithus I am on team one as the leader. I haven't a preference. Either will do.
Just call me Gavyn.

I can get stressed easily, please excuse me! So, you want me to post this to the main profile page?
