Time to climb. She slowly began to make her way up, only to cringe in shock as one of the cracks released stream right onto her leg. She nearly toppled off of the structure, but forced herself onwards, hissing in pain.

At the top of the metal contraption was a strange orb that seemed to share the same color as his chest. Reaching for it, he felt a surge of revitalization run through his body. It was best to keep a hold onto this. Perhaps there are other areas like this as well.
And again. Well, this was, to put it mildly, rather unpleasant.

And in the end, she finally managed to make it to the top. Triumphant, Ixy eyed the three orbs before approaching the first.

The heat was almost reassuring after the misty fog he'd trailed through persistently on his travels, it felt good, it felt like motivation for him. The lava in the vast room beyond hurt to look at, heat that stung his eyes so he didn't stare, simply scuttled along like the scavenging rat he was, in search of further shinies. And he would have them, he was sure.
The first room he came to was strewn with untested machinery, machinery which apparently had not been organised or tended in some time. It was dangerous, but the door beyond coaxed him forward. Occasionally the lava would spout from a flamethrower in a vast arc across the room.
He moved, dashing here and there, now a singe, now a burn, it was dangerous but he was cautious.
He stopped, steaming slightly at the other side and exhaled.
The vast fan was in the way of progress and Reap decided to throw something at it in an attempt to jam it. It was not his best thought out plan as the rebound left him on his a** in considerable pain.
For some reason, the horned shadow found herself back in the same area as before. She tilted her head curiously, wondering if she should attempt the task another time. Well, she did like fire. Why not? Grinning, Lectoa ran.

Ah, it was the fan again. Her teeth chattered slightly as she took in the chilly temperatures. She supposed the cold wasn't horrible, but to go from hot to cold so suddenly? Lectoa had to wonder if there were negative aftereffects to that. Regardless, she heaved a giant piece of debris into the fan.

It was time to climb again. Remembering her failure of an attempt the first time, she slumped her shoulders. But suddenly she straightened up and proceeded to climb. Lectoa let out a large yelp as she fell face-first into a hot plate of metal.
