Fire was bad. Fire was really bad. The Undead ghoul couldn't deal with fire. She could barely deal with a mild heat before she got irritable. Not only that there was smoke. Smoke and fire. Smoke that burned her eyes.
"Nonononononono!" She smacked herself against one of the walls, flattening herself out as much as she could to avoid the fire, scratching at it in a feeble attempt at escape. All sense of calm and reason gone up in a, pardon the pun, puff of smoke.
Perhaps her only consolation was that one piece of candy she had in her pack. Shakily, she fished it out and popped it into her mouth. Candies were suppose to have a calming effect right? It really wasn't making her feel calm. Yeeeaaaaa. She had half a mind to climb onto someone's shoulders just to escape, even if it was kind of futile anyway.

Just when he thought everything had calmed down, including the pain in his body, BOOM ON FIRE! Flailing for a moment in the drained pool he tried to remove his flaming shirt but ended up getting as far as touching it before crumpling to the ground and gagging on the smoke. Son of a Jack. Fire bad. FIIIIRE BAAAAD. Spinar tried his best to roll, though looked a little like a one-legged mini pet in a race as he tried to put the magical fire out.

He jumped to his feet once he got his breath back--tried to shadowstep upwards again--and hit a wall. "Ow." He hit the pool ground again--and only then realized he had a pissed off wrath demon in the pool with him. And, because he was an idiot, he grinned. Muka was grateful to see the pool drain. He usually enjoyed a bit of a swim, or a birdbath as it were, but not so suddenly (or fully clothed). The strix giggled, a bit more uneasily than usual, and gave a quick shake without thought at all to those around him.  "Water never did anyone much, heh, harm.." He said aloud almost the exact moment that those around him began to burst into flames. It was only a second more that he felt the heat grow on his own clothes. His golden eyes grew wide and the strix just started to flail! CURRENT STATISTICS Name: Muka

Muka's outfit seemed to be particularly flammable. Perhaps the more expensive the fabric, the better for burning? Either way he was lucky that he wore layers. The owl-man stripped his coat and threw it to the floor, stomping it with distressing bird sounds reverberating from his body. His silk shirt had also singed, holes burned through to his grey skin (and fluffy chest hair).
Muka's weezing seemed to shake his body in a distressing manner as he shoved his FEAR candy into his maw and chomped . Muka's usual good mood seemed to have fled the moment he lost a suit coat to flames.

Danny spent the entire last round writhing in the water. It was very, very painful. Nothing could be more painful for this.
Except maybe magic fire that burned. For the first few moments, she just stared at the flames, pleasant smile on her face. Flames were nice after all. Flames would never do her wrong. In fact, they were probably just going to help her. Dry her off after that stupid water.
AND THEN EVERYTHING HURT.

Danny rolled around on the ground for a bit. Having no idea how to put flames out, she just sort of mimicked what she'd seen other people do. Was this even right? This was probably incredibly wrong.
Standing up, Danny found that she'd (mostly) put the flames out, but now her wings were incredibly sore and her tail was bent in a funny shape. "Rage that's not fair!!" she shouted, to the omniscient voice she knew to be her mentor. "Not fair at all!!"
Fire was her friend. Friends didn't hurt other friends.

Woah, was it hot in here, or was it just him?
Probably just him. Luckily it didn't look like he was bursting into flames anytime soon, but damn that heat sure did make his undead flesh smell somethin' fierce.

Zel wasn't sure how - be it pure dumb luck, or skill at juking and dodging, but he managed to not catch any of his clothing on fire from the flames as they started to leap up around him. Looking around, the spotted Siku... Who was on fire.
Oh that was going to suck... But he made ready to grab for the boils bag in case the flames got to be too much for him.
He wasn't going to try and steal it outright, but he didn't want someone else getting his frienemie's bag either.
He looked around for Rosy, trying to figure out if she was okay.

Rosy found herself blinking a few times as the water drains from the pool. Landing carefully, her eyes went wide as she saw some of the student actually complaining how hot it was. She turns to glance at Zel and Spinar, only to blink when Spinar's clothes actually caught on fire. This had to be a trick, right? They really wouldn't do this to them.
Glancing around, she frowns for a moment. She didn't seem to be affected by this at all. Chewing on her lip, she looks to her friends. She wasn't sure what to do to help them. Floating off the ground, she lifts her hands above her head only to smack something. Looking up, she narrows her eyes. No way, no jacking way. As the smoke starts to bellow in, she frowns even more.

Looking back around, she heard the coughing as the smoke filled around her. Out of habit, she tries to reach out for Spinar's hand "SIKU? ZEL?" she clenches her teeth as she felt like she was getting stabbed over and over again by needles. It stung, and made her wonder if she was on fire.
Looking down at herself, she saw she wasn't but it still felt as if she was.
