Kieth Hietz

Kieth ignored the catapult for now since he was observing the red team when Dan pointed out that they did look smaller and a little different. Their wounds did heal faster then he anticipated they would even though it was still clear that they were all injured. He then locked eyes with their team's leader and Kieth looked away. Kieth would have to keep an eye for them, he could feel that something was not right about them.

Now all he was wondering now was the catapult, and Kieth scratched the back of his slightly. "Um.. I hope they have something that would give us a safe landing." Kieth said as he walked up to the catapult to be the first one to be launched up. Others took their own path up but Kieth thought the catapult would be more...interesting. The person who was operating his handed him a backpack. Before Kieth could ask what is was for the man told him. "It is a parachute so you can land safely." Kieth nodded and put the backpack.

When he was resting in the catapult now the man gave a countdown. "5...4...3...2-" Then the man let the catapult release and Kieth went flying upward. He was thrown up high, so high he could see the entire academy above. The whole thing felt a little magical but he soon snap back to reality and pulled the cord to release the large piece of fabric. he then started to descend slowly down to the academy grounds.

Ven stood there listening to the head master speak to them. She watched as the red team had come up and gotten yelled at for being late, of course they were beaten up from her team. She then listened more as the headmaster explained that there was a catapult to take them back up the cliff. Ven raised an eyebrow to this. She was very wary about it and decided to not take it. She had watched as her team leader Kieth took it as well as Miya. But she preferred to climb, it was good for keeping up her endurance.

Ven started to make her way to the cliff, but before she did the same boy from earlier on in the day had passed her up, bumping her shoulder with his as he looked back at her as if ushering her to compete with him again. Who was this boy? He had seemed so familiar, but Ven couldn't remember him for the life of her. She looked at him questioningly but rushed toward the cliff. The boy of course had already started. She reached the bottom of the cliff positioned her hands and feet and started her climb.

She climbed up at a very quick pace. She knew that some of the other team members of the other teams watched her and the boy in amazement and shock as the two rushed up the cliff. She made it up to the boy and looked at him. He was almost like Jason in a way competitive with her. She noticed the white haired boy smile as she met up with him. The two continued forward making it at the top of the cliff at the same time ending up in a tie.

"You haven't changed," the boy said and it was all he said before he started to walk off. This slightly irritated Ven so much that she got so angry that she didn't even bother telling him to stop to ask questions. She glared at him and turned making her way in her own direction. She made her way to the gym to take a look around. Maybe Jason would be there and maybe they could finally have their sparring match.

Ven was mumbling to herself slightly as she made her way to the gym. She grit her teeth only upsetting herself more. She then heard a voice come up behind her catching up to her it was Jason. He was asking her about why she was upset more than "normal" apparently.

"Just because you are my teammate doesn't mean I have to tell you anything" Ven stated. She then looked over at him. "Why follow me anyway, unless you perhaps want that match?" she asked him as she stared him down. She was itching for a bit of a fight honestly, but she didn't really want to kill anyone so it was best to not, or hold back. Ven made it into the gym with Jason and looked around. It was set up differently from when they first arrived there were multiple spots for sparring, and obstacles for more practice.

Ven made her way to an empty corner and drew her blades. She examined them a moment waiting for Jason if he were to spar with her. If not that was fine to she wouldn't be bothered practicing by herself, attacking a dummy so she couldn't kill anyone.

"And yet you still chose to respond to my question when you could've just ignored me altogether," Jason responded with a slight smirk, "Which doesn't seem like that would be your first time or too hard for you to do."

Jason let that sink in before responding to her challenge, he still had some adrenaline of his own to burn before calling it a night." Don't flatter yourself in thinking I was following you either," He added, turning to Ventera, "It's too early to go to the dorms and I'm not as injured as the red team so I don't really need to go to the nurse's office either. I'm just here to blow off some excess energy that I had from the day's 'events'" he added moving his hand to his sword, "If you really want to fight me so badly we will, just be warned that I'm not going to hold back anything during this fight just because you're my teammate." With that he drew his sword and dropped into a fighting with a smile. "Ladies first. He said, half-tauntingly, wait for her to make the first attack he had seen what she could do today and he still hadn't figured out what stone on his sword's hilt was for.

Ven had readied herself up Jason had accepted her sparring offer. She held her two blades one in each hand. She got ready in a fighting stance before Jason had told her ladies first. What a poor choice Ven thought and she moved quick nearly flash stepping ending up behind Jason. She swung her blade down, of course she too wouldn't be holding back. "Do you think that I would be holding back?" she said as she was behind him.

She knew that she was exhausted, but she could keep going. She had been in situations like this back home as well. Fight after Fight person after person and she still prevailed back home. Though Jason was new. She didn't know anything about his fighting style though they fought together before already against monsters it didn't mean she got how he fought down right away. She was unaware of what she was getting herself into.

Ven smirked as he was stunned at her movement's after all that has happened today. Her clothing had been simple cloth no armor at all to weigh her down. The blades were light and easy to handle. She then watched Jason as he moved and ditched some stuff to make himself lighter for fair game. Ven continued to smile as she readied herself. Jason had then said it was his turn. He had charged straight for her swinging his blade down at her. Of course sparring like this was dangerous especially when the two weren't going to hold back.

Ven watched his blade waiting as soon as he got closer she had to block with her own blades due to his swing being quicker than she thought. She crossed her blades holding his blade in front of her between hers. She then used her dominant hand pushing his blade back up. She forced him up and she quickly jumped back again. She looked up at Jason surprised at his fighting style. He held a blade similar to hers though a full katana. She carried two half the size of his full blade. She assumed all weapons were light which made for quick and agile movement. She readied herself again before rushing forward beginning to clash blades with him.

Miya followed him to the other end of the room, "Alright." She pulled out her sword and held it to match her offensive position. "Give me everything you got, but, without the bullets if you please. Not just for the safety of myself but for everyone else here as well." She smiled kindly, "Since we are using crystals, I will do my best not to cut through your weapon. I do not wish to have a team member angry at me for doing such a thing."

She walked a distance and turned around, as was habit she bowed to him, like she does before any match, and moved into position. The crystal in the hilt began to glow a soft blue and the sword became light and, as she had trained, and extension of her arm. She focused, sensing everything around her, an outline of light formed around her left arm where she collected it to use as a barrier shield should she need it.

A few moments later she charged, stopped a foot in front of him, feinted a quick attack to his left as she moved to the side and aimed a slash for his right side.

Kieth ignored the part about her trying her best not to cut his bo staff. He did use a strong metal which he warped perfectly so he wasn't to worried about anything destroying it. He also wasn't sure about using his crystal because everything he used acted like artillery. He didn't think they would mind a couple holes in the gym. He thought observing around the gym's wall, they did look like they could take a beating, which made Kieth start to question the 'sparring' tomorrow.

Kieth's eyes were drown back to Miya when her blade started glowing and her arm. He didn't have much time to analyze the situation since she started charging directly at him. His first reaction was to shoot in a situation like that but he twisted his staff into two and dodged the attack on his left side mostly and blocked the attack with both his weapons. While holding the blade there he noticed on his left side that his arm started bleeding and it stung. He pushed away the pain and the thought that he did not fully dodge and Kieth pushed himself. During that pushed he shot with both his weapons a a stream of laser at the ground to gather more height above Miya. He then connected his bo staff again and shot a blast behind and throwing the bo staff at Miya at the same time.
