It was finally over. Sure there were times when the verbal exchange made Hafwen doubt her initial decision in suspecting Alice but boy was she glad that she stuck by it in the end when the truth eventually came to light and the murder mystery was solved. "Your actions may be justified in your opinion but that doesn't make what you did right at the end of the day when you could have seek justice through the proper channels."
Looking at each of the other people around her in turn, she mused inwardly over how the events had unfolded over the course of the weekend. It was scary how even the people whom one looked upon as family could be capable of something as wrong as this when things took a turn for the worse. Nonetheless it was good that they managed to solve the mystery before everyone died as Alice had intended for them to and she quickly excused herself to start heading towards her room to pack her things, hoping to make her getaway before a certain someone came after her about certain pressing matters that had surfaced as of late.

Darren was someone glad he'd not completely placed his faith in Alice - she'd been a good actress though, she'd had him almost completely convinced that she was innocent... Right until she'd tripped herself up with her words. Damning as it was, he was glad everything was solved. But still.
"Truth be told - vengeance is never the right choice." With that, he took his own leave. Hafwen - who he knew by a different name. Looks like there was another mystery to unravel, he'd have to move quickly though, if he was going to get out of the mansion before her so he could... figure out what was going on.

It seemed like his decision to take a chance had paid off as Alice pretty much admitted to being the person that he and Darren had ended up chasing back to the house.
Then she'd followed it up pretty quickly with an admission once she realised what she'd admitted to.
It was finally over and they'd even managed to save the last two intended victims - Marlin had a feeling given Alice's words that they'd been too late to save William Logan.
He'd excused himself shortly after to head back to the room and pack. It would be back to reality and the shop come tomorrow morning.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Despite his suspicion that mayhaps both of the Logan women had been involved in the killing, Arian had been surprised when Alice had pretty much ended up damning herself with her own words, particularly since she had followed it up pretty quickly with a full admission of guilt.
It was nice to have the mystery finally solved and even though Alice had managed to get to most of the people from the first night, they'd at least managed to save two, maybe even three since Arian wasn't sure if she'd managed to get to William Logan.
He headed back to his room as the others started to disperse, with the mystery behind the murders solved the weekend was finally over, and he had packing to do before he could head back to the city.
