While she was unable to bow at the waist as she would have liked, Khira bowed her head instead. After scooping up the tin cup with her lute, Khira slowly waddled off the makeshift stage of boxes they'd created. Even at a brief glance, she knew they'd made enough coin for a reasonable room and then some. "Not bad for an hour or so of work..." She commented, fishing a coin from within her lute and biting it to make sure it was real.

Standing behind Khira, Jake hugged her happily and was now gently massaging the sides of her rounded belly as they both looked at their earnings. "I have to say that was actually very fun too. Oh, your music is so lively and beautiful honey! Just like our children." he smiled feeling them kick at his hands.

"I'm pretty sure they're more hungry than lively but you got the general idea of things..." Khira replied, pocketing the coins for later use. "I could go for a big juicy piece of meat and a stiff drink to wash it down with, how about you?"

"That doesn't sound too bad actually. Using up all that mana's made me very hungry. Plus, you're cute when your drunk." he replies kissing her cheek. "Why don't you lead the way." he smiled gently taking her hand. They walked to a pub and found a nice table in the back by themselves. Being with her in a pub brought back the time they first met. She actually sat down with him, it totally surprised Jake actually. "Say..when we first met...why did you come over to my table?" he asked giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "I've always been curious about the Khira."

"Doubt I'll be drinking THAT much..." Khira countered, waddling off in the direction she hoped would lead to some taverns or bars. "Truthfully, I was quite hammered at that time so I don't entirely know what my body was thinking but I think it had to do with something about your eyes..."

He blushed softly. "Oh? So you like my eyes huh?" he smiled. Once the food had arrived, Jake decided to just get a steak like her, he quietly began to eat. Not really getting any beer either, because he didn't feel like it, he looks over to Khira. "Well...I really like your hair. Plus, you're just so dainty and cute." Jake said kissing her cheek before continuing his meal.

"You make me sound like a delicate flower rather than the overfilled keg I feel like..." Khira comments before stuffing a large piece of meat into her waiting mouth. "While I might have been dainty at one point or another, that time has long sense passed." Swallowing her mouthful of food she added, "And its only going to get worse from here on in... God, in five months I'll look like someone's prize pig waiting for slaughter."

"Don't say that." he cooed rubbing the side of her belly. "I think it's a rather cute belly. I can't wait to meet our children either." Jake smiled softly. "It doesn't matter how big you think you might get, to me you're still as beautiful as ever." Closing his eyes he felt a kick and smiled down at her partly exsposed middle. She would grow bigger but he could always use his magic to help her around if she wanted to. "I could make you a magic carpet to fly on if you'd like? Those are fun to make." he smiled looking into her eyes. "I know this isn't easy though..I'm sorry." he sighed softly. "Khira thank you for being the one to bear my children. I'm sure they'll have your beautiful eyes."

"We'll see if you're still saying that in a couple months when you have to carry me up stairs and their like." Khira answered with a smile before carrying on eating. "And while that idea sounds nice, we dwarves are not the kind who enjoy having our feet off the ground. Plus I don't need anybody looking up and wondering where the sun went..."

He laughed lightly. "You're silly." he teased. "Well I don't mind honestly, I can use my magic to help carry you." he winked kissing her cheek. "I meant everything though. You'll be a great mother...you're tough and our children need that." he smiled softly. Scooting their chairs together he cuddled her a bit. "Khira if you don't want a flying carpet then that's fine. We'll take our time once the later months creep in." he said giving her belly a soft and gentle pat.

Khira laughed. "Seems odd how our roles are switched. Normally one would expect the father to be the big tough guy and the mother to be the more magically gifted, squishy type." Wolfing down what remained of her meat, Khira suddenly belched loudly as Jake's belly rub and other attentions stirred the gases in her stomach. Blushing deeply, she covered her mouth and sank down in her chair a little bit.

He chuckled rubbing all the bubbles out of her stomach. "Yet we are both magical honey. Me with magic, and you with song, remember? You are a bard, a siren." he mused lightly kissing her cheek. "Even your burps are melodious." He lightly teased giving her belly a gentle pat. Closing his eyes, he hadn't realized she was sitting, and relaxing, in his lap now. As he massaged he felt the twins kick at his hands as he gently wrapped his arms around her. "I love you..my siren.." he cooed softly into her ear with a gentle smile.

"What I do is hardly considered real magic. I just take normal words and make them all nice and fancy for a couple of minutes. Nothing like what you can do, moving mountains or leveling building with a thought." Khira stated. "I mean sure, I can do some fun stuff with my voice but nothing useful..." Murring slightly as Jake wrapped his arms around her plump torso, she couldn't help but remember why she'd fallen for this man over all the others. There was something special about this mage. "Oh really, well you'll just have prove it later tonight..." She replied, with a sly wink.

Jake chuckled. "Hardly, I cannon blow up buildings or move mountains as easily as you think." he replies cuddling her softly. "Yet, I guess I could if you wanted me to. My snuggly Dwarf." Blushing at her comment he slightly poked her bottom gently. "Naughty! I see you're still as flirty and seductive as ever." He flirted back with a sly wink, then laughed. "Tonight will be magical indeed, I promise you this." he wispered kissing her lips. "For now, digest, relax, drink, eat, whatever! My arms are here for you to snuggle into darling." he said relaxing in his chair some not reallying caring that some people were oddly staring at them. Jake loved this woman, even if she was a bit shorter than most! Height played no part in it, she had a wonderful spirit. Of course, she would most likely be a ball by the end of this pregnancy, but he knew Khira would pull through. She was his tough little cookie. His cute little pregnant singer! They would have to do their show again, and when the children were born and old enough, maybe he would teach them his magic or start a family show. Khira and him were both very talented at what they did.

"Given the right motivation I'm sure you could..." Khira replied with a smile. "And hey. I'm still a woman with needs. Being pregnant does little to stop those... If anything it enhances those..." To emphasize this point, the dwarf pressed herself as close to Jake's body as she could. "The kind of snuggling I need one cannot do in public," She added, finishing what remained of her drink.
