I Do Not Regret Anything I Have Done In The Past, But I Do Not Look Forward To The Future
"Ne bud' tak medlenno." a deep rumbling voice called, the edge of agitation was clear in the gruff tone, "Ya idu brata. Ne bud'te stol' pospeshno." a younger and smoother voice called with slight agitation, but it was barely noticeable. Two fairly tall men moved into the lobby of the large hotel, everyone turned to look at them, clearly they looked odd, shining black arms on one male and bright red hair on the other. Anyone would take a look at the men who looked similar to thugs, the red head had tribal tattoos on his body and his hair was fashioned to look like that of someone who was possibly part of a gang. The other had blond hair, short and sticking out in a neat mess, though what drew peoples attentions were the long shining black limbs, purely mechanical, as well as his eyes with yellow glowing in the midst of the black glass like sight, "Otvratitel'no." the red head hissed, "Uspokoytes' Riley." the blond mumbled to the red head now known to some as Riley, "Ne obrashchaysya so mnoy kak s rebenkom Issac." the red head retorted sharply. Issac shook his head and patted his brother's arm before he would make his way up to the counter offering a light greeting to the women, "Pardon our intrusion. We came to look for a slave, we looked around previously and we have not found anything we liked. Were looking for something....ah how you say..." Issac paused as Riley approached, "A maid." he finished it fairly bluntly, "Yes...a house worker, no one who will talk back too much preferably." he mumbled as his brother crossed his arms.
"You are making everyone nervous brother." he mumbled, "Then they should stop staring." he hissed in reply. The woman smiled as she would beckon a guard or two over, easily explaining to the two siblings that they just needed to follow the man and he would lead them to look around. Riley huffed as he lagged behind now, eyes darting about in annoyance, "Brother, you promised." he mumbled to him, "Doesn't mean I have to like it." he growled, "Brosit' pukhlyye." he insisted, "Idi k chertu." he growled back. The two of them stopped in multiple rooms, none of them really interested in the occupants, coming upon a door one of the last few they would be seeing, Issac would step through and peer around, Riley didn't move from his spot next to the guard, "Ty ne poydesh'?" he questioned his brother, "Mne skuchno, vy eto delayete." he grumbled leaning his back against the wall near the door. Issac sighed and looked to the woman in the room, offering an apologetic look, "K sozhaleniyu o moyem brate. Ty v poryadke? Razve my pugayet?" he questioned before he caught himself almost face palming, "My apologies, again. I was asking if you were alright." he'd state not looking at her face but her collar, clearly expectant to find something he wanted though he was looking at her once again looking slightly uninterested in her now, "Do you know how to cook and clean by any chance woman?" he asked quietly giving her the benefit of the doubt, sometimes girls like her were used for many things, and they found other charms more important to put on then the ones they were actually looking for.
My Current Location? Well....... Hotel De Esclaves How Do I feel? I feel....... Agitated / Calm God This Person is annoying! Their name(s)? Aiyana The Time and Date? No Problem. Its...... Somewhere in the Fall at Noon
This place...it was much better than anywhere she had been in her many, many years trapped and enslaved. She had a room all of her own, with a bed and bath, and windows. So many windows, just for her. The sun streamed in every day and she kept the shades open to see the moon at night. Aiyana was starved for the sunlight and if she had been allowed, she would have been outside, simply laying on the grass and soaking up the warmth of the rays. She wasn't, however, much to her intense disappointment. Not allowed outside without a master, she'd been told. Well, if that was the case, then she could make do having the warmth through the window panes. If there was one thing Aiyana had no desire for, it was a master. They were all cruel, horrible people.
A few had come to look at her during her stay here and she'd been terrified they would take her. If so, there was nothing she could have done about it, but they proclaimed her 'too broken' and moved on, much to her intense relief. The flower spirit had been a plaything for years and years...she just wanted some peace. No pain, no fear. It seemed this place, this limbo for slaves, was the best she was ever going to get. She could live with that, she supposed, not that she had much of a choice. It was quiet here and no one much bothered her at all, save for the occasional master. Those moments brought fear into her heart - or rather, they brought the fear lingering to the surface until it felt like it would smother her. But other than that, it really wasn't so bad, and --
Aiyana was torn from her thoughts, from her attempts at trying to convince herself she liked this place, when someone came into the room. She turned her head from where she had been sitting near the window, and while she watched the two men carefully, their strangeness was lost on someone like her. Everyone was different, it seemed, and they were simply someone else she had never seen before. Her eyes widened in surprise at the question, noticing how he was looking at her collar rather than her. No one had asked what else she could do.
"I can clean, yes," she said, her voice quiet, almost to the point of being inaudible. She thought about telling them her name, but they didn't seem to be interested or care. "I'm not sure if I can cook that well, but I...I can learn quickly," Aiyana continued nervously. She didn't really want to go with them, they frightened her. But then again, everyone did. It was simply in her nature to be honest.

Issac rubbed his jaw, albeit gently since his hand was completely metal and could actually hurt him, "Hmmm...you can clean." he stated turning to look to his brother, "Ona ne rabotayet, ona stoit vremya?" he called to Riley, "Ne rabotayet? Emotsional'no? Komu interesno, mozhet li ona sdelat' to, chto my sprashivayem, chto eto imeyet znacheniye?" he called back roughly not bothering to look in, "So indecisive." he huffed in complaint turning to look back at the woman, eyes trailing all over her as he thought, "You can learn to cook fast." he'd repeat looking slightly thoughtful, she was scared, that was clear to him. She probably wouldn't fight back against them when it came to orders, that was a good thing, since Riley might get pissed off every now and then if she told him no. Looking contemplative of whether or not he was going to buy her, "Do you require anything special in terms of care? Like...vampires need blood and what not?" he questioned, "What is your name as well, what do you want to be called woman?" he questioned her further not pausing too much, "You're really going to settle on this thing?" Riley questioned, "Are you complaining brother?" Issac questioned, "Aren't I always?" he chided his brother, "Indeed. Ignore him...for right now. He dislikes being here." Issac said lightly to the young woman, "By the way, my name is Issac, and the brat outside that you hear is my twin brother Riley. We are going to take you out of here." he'd state not really giving her much of a choice, not like they could break her anymore than she was already broken.
Riley poked his head in to glance at what they were buying, he didn't seem all too pleased about it, she looked frail and fragile in his eyes, in fact it looked like she might cry if he yelled at her, then again some looks could be deceiving. Biting his lip as he thought about what she might be able to do, as well as how she was, he assumed she could be just useful as the house maid. Better than being stuck here probably, not like they required a lot, but they really hated having to do a lot and they didn't want to hire anyone, people tended to poke their noses in the wrong places. Having a slave was beneficial, if she decided to get into their business, they could easily just kill her without an issue, or use her for those purposes as well. Grimacing as he thought about having to impair her like a mafia boss or something akin to that irked him, but sometimes it was necessary. Glancing in he started to wonder if his brother intentionally picked her just because of how she was acting, maybe she was feeble enough to listen to all their orders, hell if she was good maybe they would allow her to venture out on her own as she liked, long as she kept up with her chores. Have her own life with a man later and what not, hell Riley and Issac weren't all too strict if they believed someone kept to what they were doing, though she'd still be under supervision, as per most people that were bought, she couldn't have true freedom. Eyes closing as he would huff, "Hurry the hell up." he hissed in annoyance.

As the man looked her over, she was sure her hair looked odd, tendrils turning green with leaves and flowers on them, though he didn't ask what she was. The flower spirit blinked at the questions, a bit surprised by them, and then flinched when she was called a 'thing'. Well, the man was certainly harsh and if they did take her - yes, they were going to take her, she realized when he said so. She swallowed, making a mental note not to argue or disobey, especially the red-haired man's orders. She didn't know what language they were speaking, but it sounded...oddly pretty and she liked listening to it. It was something new, something different. Her mind turning back tot eh questions, Aiyana clasped her hands in her lap tightly, pulling the sleeves of her soft sweater-dress down over to her fingernails. "My name is Aiyana, you can call me whatever you wish. What should I call you?" she asked. Just because he had told her their names didn't mean she was supposed to use them, after all. And she would never presume to use a Master's first name on such an impersonal note. Honestly, she was used to calling them 'master' or 'sir' more often than not. Her nervous gaze flicked from one to the other. The harsher one looked more human, clearly, but their appearances weren't what frightened her. They were strange, but not scary to her. What scared the gentle spirit was the fact they were there at all, that they were men, and that they were taking her.
But crying never did any good, she had learned that. And now she never did, save for when she woke up from nightmares. Oh, she hoped she didn't have those terrible ones where she woke up screaming. That would certainly make them both angry, if they even heard her. What if they were going to lock her in a basement? She bit her lip at that horrible thought. "Um, no, I don't need blood," Aiyana said, shaking her head with a nervous laugh, the bright earrings catching the light. "I'm a flower spirit. I don't even need much food, honestly, and I eat fruits and vegetables when I do. I just need sunlight and water...like a plant would." That meant bright spaces and she really, really hoped they weren't planning on putting her somewhere dark and dry. Or dark and dank, with mold and mildew. Her throat closed in fear at the memory and she shoved it down, deep down, to keep it from coming out any further. "That's all, honest. I don't need much at all." Love and attention, laughter and a happy place, sunlight and warmth and rain - but none of those things were ever going to come her way, she knew that. All she could hope for was sunlight and water now, now that she was going with them. Everything else...well, that wasn't even in her dreams. Just her memories, which were hidden even deeper in her mind than her nightmares.
Don't be ashamed to weep; 'tis right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water // But there must be sunlight also // A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us. ∝╬══→

Issac hadn't really taken notice of the woman's hair, he thought maybe plants were just woven into her hair, but as he took a little better notice he could see they actually grew from her hair, or something similar to that. How interesting, that was something he hadn't seen before in comparison to the pointy earred elves, the blood loving sharp fanged vampires, and well the sometimes hairy werebeasts. Rubbing his chin as she would seem to be more refined and in general closed off, that was good, she wasn't loud and too talkative, Riley probably wouldn't be able to complain much about her, other than when she did something small wrong, probably. When she introduced herself and asked what they would like to be called he would seem a little more cold, eyes narrowing slightly, he was slightly touchy about his name, Riley was too since they really weren't called by their proper names for a good long time, "Issac." his voice went flat with a slight edge in his tone, "Calm brother. She knows nothing." Riley chided his brother, "Just our names are fine girl, feel free to call us master, sir, boss whatever works for you, mind you do not call us anything degrading." Riley said lightly. Issac was rubbing his temples lightly as he tried to calm himself a bit, "Just Issac." he'd make it clear he just wanted to be called by his name, nothing more than that. Issac stood straight and crossed his arms over his chest, Riley was looking in now, leaning lazily in the door frame, merely eyeing the young woman. He was staring at her hair, taking more notice of the plants than Issac had.
As Aiyana went on to explain that she didn't need blood, and that she was a flower spirit, both of the men seemed to look interested automatically by the new information, their mother loved flowers quite a bit and had a garden house in the back, the flowers were starting to die though, Riley and Issac weren't all that good with taking care of plants. The place was slightly over grown as well and they were certainly touchy about cutting the plants up, Issac threw a glance at his brother and Riley merely nodded lightly understanding quietly, the secret communication between the two brothers would go unheard by the woman though. Riley would turn to head out intending to pay for the woman, "Is that so? A sunny room would be best than right? Is it better warm or cool for you? Do you need clothing or any other necessities?" he questioned, "We don't have feminine clothing...unless your able to create your own we'll probably have to take you to go shopping." that was clearly in irking thought for the male, "I would ask more personal questions, but even I find that the ones I want to ask are...blunt...and mildly disturbing." he'd state grimacing not really giving a hint as to what he wanted to ask, but sooner or later he would end up finding. He would extend his hand out to her to offer her a hand up, "On the bright side, you will have plenty of fresh air. Plants....like that right?" he questioned looking slightly questioning. This was one of the few moments he felt a bit feeble with his lack of information, "As for cooking....if you get burned you won't set on fire right?" he looked slightly concerned as well as slightly curious, he wasn't looking forward to any trial and error answers after all.

Aiyana visibly flinched when the blond man's tone changed and she swallowed hard, looking at him as if he was going to hit her for asking. She had no idea why that was such a terrible question and bit her lip, her fingers curling in the soft cloth almost desperately. She nodded at Riley's words, almost pathetically eager to show she was paying attention to him. So, she could call him...really anything, then? And Issac was...he was 'just Issac'. She drilled that into her head, though she rarely made mistakes when addressing people, unless it was a complicated name or some obscure, long title. She was nervously aware of the red-haired man peering at her, but her attention was more on Issac, who was both closer and more tense. It was proximity she was worried about, clearly, and she didn't move, almost stiff, trying to look frozen. As she explained what she was, she didn't notice their expressions change ever-so-slightly, not looking for it nor expecting it. Her gaze flicked from one to the other as they looked at each other, then back to Issa as he began to overwhelm the poor flower spirit with questions. She had no idea what else he might ask that was 'disturbing' and found herself mildly curious. If only because no one had bothered to consider what sort of questions they were asking her. She was a slave and it was her job to answer them, no matter if she liked them or not, after all.
Nodding to the first question, she opened her mouth to anwwer and then shut it as he continued. But her face went dead white, a bad look for the pretty spirit, and she shook her head firmly when he asked about fire. "N-no, no fire, please," she whispered. "I - I don't do well with fire. I won't...I won't...I don't go up in flames, but it...it hurts and..." It hurt her much more than it would a human or another creature, save for a winter spirit or something of the sort. She swallowed, trembling a bit at the memories she had of fire, and bit her tongue. Taking a deep breath, she let it out. "A - a sunny room would be nice. And I prefer warm, cold m-makes me slow, and tired," Aiyana told him, desperately trying to answer his other questions to his satisfaction after the fright she had. "I don't have anything, no, um, I'm sorry if that's a problem. I can't...I can't conjure things." She looked apologetic at admitting that, as if it were some flaw she was going to be punished for. Biting her lip again, the female looked down at her feet, picking at the edge of one of her sleeves for a moment. "Um, you...you can ask me anything, I mean...I'm used to that. It's, um, it's probably better you ask, anyway." Aiyana's voice was practically a whisper as she looked down at her feet. She never really dared to suggest to a master what to do, but she had no idea what sort of questions he had or if they were important for him to know or just plain curiosity. "I...I would like fresh air. And plants, I...I can make them grow. Not with this on, or I'd s-show you," she added, tugging at the collar to show what she meant. It blocked her powers completely, despite the fact that the female really couldn't or wouldn't hurt a thing.

Issac had noticed the young flower spirit flinch, but he didn't really care at the moment, she had touched an unexpectedly sore spot for him and it was a fairly natural reaction for him now a days. The young mechanical man felt slightly stiff at the moment, he hadn't moved and it felt a little odd not moving for a bit. Issac fancied saying everything on his mind, it was something he just often did, though other times he was tight lipped and quiet. Riley liked it better when Issac was talking personally though, it was interesting to see his brother more open with his curiosity rather than being pent up with what he felt like was ignorance. When he stopped his onslaught of questions to the girl he would blink, the one that seemed to scare her the most was fire, "Guess we'll have to get an electrical stove instead since she is scared of open flames. That shouldn't be all too bad, though I worry about the winter since it gets cold easily." he thought mildly as he nodded to her understanding clearly that she didn't like fire at all. When she seemed to distract herself with the next answer to the sunny room, he would smile a little, "That's easy to arrange." he stated lightly clearly adaptable to the thermostat being changed, though Riley liked it a bit cooler he was sure his brother didn't give a damn long as he wasn't sweating. Issac listened with an intense gaze, giving her his full attention as she went on to mention she didn't make her own clothing, great, underwear shopping, girly stores, that was going to be the least favorable part of his day. Riley was going to be less than enthusiastic, knowing full well he hated being stared at, hopefully his brother would show a little patience.
As Aiyana mentioned that he should ask the questions anyways, he would gain a little of a rose tint to his face putting it off for the moment. He listened to what she said next and nodded, "Alright...and for that question um..." he was really reluctant about asking but if she really insisted, "D-don't take this the wrong way, but um...do you reproduce like....human women? N-not for what you think! L-like um....I'd r-rather not have to go to a store...and go into that section." he'd mumble looking away as he looked thoroughly embarrassed. He wasn't even sure if she knew what he meant, Issac and Riley both had their fair share of having to go to the store for their mother and it was the worst humiliation. Riley came back in time staring at his brother with a look of bemusement, "If you don't get what he's asking, he's asking do you need any feminine products." he'd snort swatting his brother, "Mudak." Issac would seethe lightly but he would smile a little, "As I said...really...disturbing question but we only lived with one woman before and well I'd rather be prepared then you know..." he was slightly hoping she would understand, "Vy prinimayete yeye lifchik magazinam." he'd state smiling broadly now, "Chto?!" Riley practically shrieked, "Ne "chto" menya! Vy delayete eto!" he snickered while his brother slugged him. Riley was unbothered by the contact with the metal, Issac would then smile at her, "Sorry, were quite used to speaking Russian, do you know how to speak it?" he'd ask her as Riley moved out of the room looking positively livid, Issac would gesture for her to follow after him, "Were going shopping before we head home by the way....you'll need clothes." he'd state, "Bol' v zadnitse." Riley would hiss back toward her, "Bud'te vezhlivy." Issac would mutter rolling his eyes. Issac was fairly excited to have a new housemate, especially one as interesting as Aiyana, after all they never really interacted too much with species other than humans.

Lol you'll find out I'm sure, the way im imagining it you'll probably be rofl-ing.
As the man in front of her relaxed, so did the flower spirit. If she knew he was thinking of her as 'young' Aiyana would have laughed herself sick. That was, she would have if she was capable of laughing anymore. It had all been sucked out of her, all the joy and happiness. The stare was unnerving, not because of his eyes, but because she wasn't used to having any attention paid to her at all, much less that sort of attention. She blinked a few times as he began to try to explain what the question was, and actually she understood it immediately when he mentioned human reproduction. But before she could answer, his brother returned and they began going back and forth with each other. Aiyana flinched and jumped up, taking a few steps back as they began to yell at each other, her body posture clearly defensive, her arms wrapped around her middle protectively in case they turned their fighting on her. When Riley stormed out, she looked over at Issac nervously. She flinched as Riley's anger was directed at her, not understanding what he said, but the tone was clear. She had done something to make him angry and didn't know what. Looking up nervously at Issac as she quickly followed the two of them, she bit her lip. "I'll be quick, I promise. I don't need much," Aiyana said softly, not wanting them to think she was going to take hours and hours and make them spend a lot of money on her. Really, she just needed a few changes of clothing and she would be happy, she was simple that way. Material things didn't mean much to her at all and it wasn't until she'd been captured that she had even worn clothing.
"Um, about, um, needing those, um things..." Aiyana stammered, blushing a bit, and looked down at her feet. "I do...I do reproduce, sort of like that, but I don't...I won't need the things human women do," she told them. She looked between them hopefully, as if wishing that her small admission might lighten their moods somewhat. Having them be angry, or even just Riley angry, made her nervous and afraid of what might happen to her if she did something else to make them mad. Especially when she wasn't even sure what she had done. "And, um, no, I don't speak Russian. But I like listening to the two of you say it. It's nice to listen to," Aiyana told him shyly, unsure if he would take her words as a compliment or her making fun of them somehow. Honestly, she didn't think of herself as exciting or more than anything but a bother. And a toy, though she didn't want to be one. But just because she didn't want to be something didn't mean she wasn't, to be honest. Looking at them, Aiyana hoped they really didn't want her to be more than a maid and to cook for them.

Riley was more or less stomping not looking forward to going to any clothing stores much at all, "Pukhlyye yeshche?" he teased his brother as he remained unaware of how freaked out Aiyana was, the poor girl would probably have to get used to the two yelling at each other sometimes, "Zatknis' ublyudka." he grumbled somewhat in defeat. Issac snickered lightly before he would hear Aiyana pipe up, he looked quizical, "You'll get as much as you require. You really don't want to make him go out on a second trip. Trust me." he'd state, "If you think it's enough get more, please." he'd mumble to her leaning in forward a bit so only she could have heard him. Riley was fumbling through his pockets as they headed outside, he would slowly find a lighter and a cigarette, easily putting the cancer stick to his lips and lighting it up. He made a show of the fire, not entirely caring about the woman's fear of it, "Where to go...I'm not good with feminine shops..." he'd mumble looking about. Issac would glance at her when she mentioned not needing those human things, and continue on to explain that she did reproduce but not in the way that a normal woman would probably do so, "That..is such a relief...you have no idea..." he'd chuckle lightly, "I think we can handle anything but uh...that kind of thing." he'd chuckle offering the stereotypical joke of men freaking out every time a woman started to get flippant with her emotions. Listening to her when she went on to say that she didn't speak Russian and liked listening to the two of them. Riley and Issac looked at each other clearly surprised, "Ona vrode smeshno." he'd chuckle, "V samom dele." he'd comment looking a little less angry, he smirked a bit even.
"I'll go fetch the car." he mumbled to the both of them, deciding it was best for Aiyana to familiarize herself with his brother, though he doubted she was going to enjoy it much seeing as Riley was the meaner half. Riley would watch his brother run off and then look to Aiyana, "Flower spirit huh." he'd mumble easily taking a drag off his cigarette and blowing the smoke towards her knowing full well she would probably dislike that, "I'll get something straight with you right now. I really wanted something that I could torment without it breaking...but I settled for you." he'd state staring her down being as intimidating as he wanted, "I'll also make this clear, since I'm almost positive you were sexually assaulted and all that American crap, we won't do anything like that to ya, no interest." he'd grumble blatant and blunt, not caring if he was being awkward, "As for house work, well that is fairly self explanatory, stay out of my room, if I find you in there you won't like the punishment." he'd warn her as he did another drag on his cigarette and blew the smoke away this time, "Cooking as far as were concerned...we'll eat anything, vegetable, meat, fruit all o tat doesn't bother us much, any food at all is good. How much do you even know about modern world technology?" he'd question his look softening a bit as he would get his nicotine fix. Riley waited for her answer patiently while Issac would search around for the car, giving them a few minutes to talk or rather in Riley's case intimidate and threaten.

They react a lot differently to screaming women than most would XD
Listening to Issac's advice, Aiyana nodded obediently. She didn't really understand why she should buy more, but if it would make them happy, then she'd get more than she needed to appease them. She relaxed, just a touch, when he laughed a little bit, clearly relieved. That was good, she thought, that she could make them happy just by...being herself? Was that what it was? Aiyana didn't really understand it, but anything was better than yelling and hitting. Especially her. When Riley's expression lightened, she wondered what was so amusing about her liking to listen to their language. It was musical to her ears, harsh but...the way it flowed. She couldn't explain it and wondered if they would teach her, one day, if she stayed long enough and if they were nice enough. Or maybe she could figure it out listening to them, they seemed to speak it often enough. When Issac left and she remained standing with the other brother, the one who looked...angrier, who had that small fire that made her go pale in the cool air, Aiyana bit her lip and looked down at her feet. She glanced up at him when he said something to her, but then looked down again quickly when he blew the smoke at her. Coughing, she covered her hand, looking more ill than disgusted. His words just put her more on edge, saying he wanted something he could torment...she didn't understand him, as he continued to speak to her, nodding to show she was listening and understood. Going into his room...no, she wouldn't go into any room unless she had express permission. Her curiosity had been beaten out of her a long time ago and now it was just replaced by a palpable fear of the unknown, frightened of something jumping out at her from the dark and...taking her away into it. Where it was dark and cold.
Aiyana dared a glance back up to him when he finished speaking. She didn't understand him at all. He said he wanted to torment someone, and then went out of his way to say they wouldn't hurt her...in that way. That didn't make any sense to her. And he looked more relaxed, though she attributed that to the nasty thing he had in his mouth. "I'm...I know about it, but I was never allowed to use it," she explained nervously, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her dress. "I mean...I learn quickly, I do, and I won't go into any rooms you don't want me to," she hastened to add. Looking down at her feet again, the flower spirit felt a bit better out in the fresh air, even if it was too cold for her. She wanted a coat, or something heavy, closing in on herself a bit like a flower going to sleep in winter. "And, um...um, thank you for saying that," Aiyana added, her voice less than a whisper. "That you...you won't, um...you won't hurt me like that." Her cheeks were flushed in humiliation, and with the effort of actually getting those words out. It was too soon to be grateful, people lied all the time about everything. But...but she wanted to try. He couldn't be all terrible, not if he said he wouldn't hurt her. And he wasn't...he wasn't awful. Just because he hadn't waved the fire in her face and made her run made her pathetically grateful, hating to be tormented with it.

I Do Not Regret Anything I Have Done In The Past, But I Do Not Look Forward To The Future
Riley took in the lungfuls of smoke, enjoying the taste of burning tobacco on his tongue as he would breath out of his nose letting the smoke pour out. Leaning his back against the hotel's outer wall, he would look to the sky as he would wait for the girl to find a backbone and say something to him. He was merely impressed with the fact she didn't cry like a baby at him, to be honest that was what he was expecting and he felt fairly glad about the fact she didn't. Tilting his head down to look at her when she mentioned that she knew about it, but wasn't allowed to use it. As she continued on to say she could learn quickly and she wouldn't go into rooms that she wasn't wanted in. Quite compliant. He rather appreciated that, he didn't have to train a puppy too much when it came to this. Riley didn't take notice of her needs much at all, or rather he really didn't care if she was cold, he could tell she was, his sixth sense was yelling at him about it. When she would start to mumble and whisper he would lean in to listen, "....Kak zhal'." he mumbled lightly his expression softening just slightly as he would pat her head, "We wouldn't do that to a woman. We have more respect for female's than whatever sleaze tormented you." he'd state simply before moving back again. Eyes glancing around for the familiar Exterra that Issac adored so much, "Hrm, if your so interested in our language, we can on and off teach you....well that is if you do a good job at cleaning." he'd snicker turning something she may not even want into a form of reward, "If you suck at it....well I can always find something to torment you with until you learn to do it better huh?" he'd tease her slightly, intending for her to get scared since he had a half joking tone, "Slishkom plokho." he'd snicker lightly as he would suddenly approach her, the bud of his cigarette barely burning in his mouth as he leaned down to remove her collar. He would easily tilt her chin up to stare at the sky while he was careful about unlatching the fabric, he was fairly delicate with it as he would place it in her hands before moving back, "I'll give you enough lee way to not have to worry about that thing. Though if you try to run away...well let's say I really don't mind burning things." he'd say in a dark tone.
Riley would glance up as he noticed the approach of the Exterra, easily sliding open the car door as Issac's face appeared in the window, "Izvinite, chto tak dolgo." he mumbled, "Chto? Vy ostanovili, chtoby spasti sobaku, chto li?" Riley chided Issac with a smirk, "Pffft as if." he'd grumble with a small smile. Riley would leave the door open looking expectantly at Aiyanna to jump in the back, he looked ready to tackle her to the ground if she tried to run. Issac looked fairly quizzical at the two, "Did you guys talk about anything interesting while I was gone?" he'd ask looking at Aiyana, concern crawled across his features as he wondered what his brother did to the flower. Riley would easily spit out the bud of his cancer stick and stomp it out, "Nothing really, just where she could clean. Nothing more." he'd mumble absently not even bothering to give the flower spirit a look to tell her to not talk. Not like he cared if she said anything about it, Issac knew Riley well enough to know that he was probably mean to her, but it was better she found out now than later, "Ah, by the way Aiyana, are there any kinds of colored clothing that you like? Pink? Brown? Green?" he'd question listing off a few colors, they could head to someplace that would have her more suitable clothing.

Listening to Issac's advice, Aiyana nodded obediently. She didn't really Aiyana flinched when his hand came up, expecting him to hit her for something. When he patted her head instead and told her, again, that they wouldn't hurt her, she looked up at him in amazement. That...that wasn't expected at all. That wasn't normal for the flower spirit and she had no idea how to react, other than to be quiet. He seemed to like her being quiet. When he said something about teaching her, her expression relaxed. It was the closest she'd gotten to smiling in years and years, although she tensed again when he bent down and came closer to her. The teasing...she could tell he was teasing, mostly, though Aiyana wasn't fool enough to think that he wouldn't do something to her if she made him unhappy somehow. A quiet whimper escaped her, her eyes fixed on the burning cigarette in his mouth, and she tried to lean away from it, thinking he might try to burn her face with it. When instead he took off her collar and put it into her hands, not even dropping it, she swallowed thickly. Nodding, the flower spirit shook her head when he mentioned running away. "I - I won't run away. I promise," she said softly. She hadn't ever tried to, even from the ones who hurt her. There was no point. "I don't have anywhere to run to," she whispered, looking down at her boots, holding the collar and unsure what she was supposed to do with it. Not put it back on, that was for sure. Making a face at it, she looked up when the car pulled up.
Unaware of the expression Riley had while he waited for her to get in, since running away wasn't in her mind, Aiyana got carefully into the car and shut the door after herself, setting the collar down on the seat next to her. She didn't know why Riley said they didn't talk about anything, since to her they hadn't really at all, but she knew he wouldn't want her to add her own bit to the conversation since she wasn't asked. So Aiyana remained silent until Issac spoke to her directly. Looking up at Issac, she shook her head. That question obviously surprised her. No one had ever asked her what her preferences were for anything at all and she didn't know how to respond. In that sense, Riley was a bit easier for her to deal with mentally, if only because he was so blunt and didn't give a damn about her much at all. That was more what she was used to. Not any sort of curiosity or kindness shown to her. "No, no, not really," she said, shaking her head. "But I...I like soft things. Like this," she told him, rubbing the sleeve of the dress. "Not scratchy or...or...I don't know. I like things that are soft, that don't hurt me," she murmured, feeling stupid and looking down at her feet again. She was more sensitive to things like wool or polyester, anything scratchy or rough hurt her skin and she hated wearing it. Sinking down a bit in the seat, she bit her lip. She never did anything with her hair, tucking it behind her ear or anything, but if they paid any attention at all they would have noticed more flowers blooming in her hair, a daisy by her ear, a rose higher on the other side, small buds of color scattered throughout, since Riley had taken the collar off of her.

I Do Not Regret Anything I Have Done In The Past, But I Do Not Look Forward To The Future
Riley merely eyed the flower spirit as she would mumble about not running away and then the run to, he sighed as he gained a distant gaze for a moment. To be honest the young man could empathize with her, same with Issac, they had pretty rough lives as well, they knew what she probably felt at that moment better than most masters probably would. Issac blinked as he was slightly questioning of the two's mood, wondering what probably happened but assuming it wasn't as bad as he thought. Aiyana seemed rather okay for the most part so it set the blond's mind at ease, he would easily let the car start to pull back out into the main road as Riley closed his door and leaned back in the chair. He stretched lightly before relaxing, the guy was feeling slightly tired, "Davayte bol'she uskorit' etot protsess, ya khochu spat'." he mumbled, "Ne bud' takim neterpelivym brata." Issac sighed at his brother's pushy attitude. He would glance behind him to take a look at Aiyana when she mentioned what she was talking about, "Soft?" he mumbled looking to Riley, "Chto-to, kak shelk? Neylon? Ya ne znayu." Riley would mumble hotly at his brother, "Spandex?" he'd snicker, "...I swear..." Riley shot him a glare and Issac laughed a bit, "You don't wear spandex do you Aiyana?" he'd chuckle teasing her lightly as he became a little more light hearted feeling more at ease now that they were going to head to the market and then home.
They would drive for awhile, sitting in quiet for the most part, Riley seemed to have fallen asleep for a little bit offering some peace and quiet in the car, "Oh...I was going to ask, if you need soft clothing that means you'll need some better sheets then." he'd mumble, "Unless you don't like sleeping in beds...I'm not entirely sure." he'd sound like he was talking to himself but he was actually attempting to start a conversation with the girl. She seemed to be feeling better judging by the way her once barren hair started to get more colorful with her plant like hair blooming. Issac took that to her being in higher spirits, "Also, do you need someone to go in with you? To the store I mean." he'd look back at her as he continued his drive looking for any store that might seem like they had what Aiyana wanted.

For the first time in his life, Azriel could say he was bored. Oh, he was familiar with the word; he had heard many humans utter it before while he was out doing his job as the Angel of Death, and someone had kindly explained it to him once. He just had never felt it before, having been kept rather busy by his job. Now, he had nothing to do... No job, no home, nobody to talk to... "I'm bored," he said, testing the words on his lips as he stared out the window of his room, and he subconsciously started to rub a hand on the "collar" around his neck. It was so soft!
Azriel turned when he heard the door open behind him, watching silently as a woman entered, carrying a tray with a steaming bowl on it, among other things. "I'm bored," the fallen angel repeated again, trying the words out on another person. "That's nice," the maid said, sounding a little distracted as she started to place things down on the only table in the room, "Now, come eat your lunch before it goes cold."
Azriel obediently walked over, hopping up onto a chair and crouching down on it while he watched her place the steaming bowl in front of him, his wings carefully folded over his back. "When can I leave this room?" he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side slightly. "As soon as a master or mistress comes to take you home, sweetie," the maid said, sounding a little... annoyed. "Oh..." the fallen angel said slowly, then hesitated a second before asking, "When is that?"
"Not soon enough..." the woman muttered under her breath before saying a little too brightly to cover it up, "I don't know, sweetie. Now, eat your soup before it goes cold!" Azriel felt a little bit annoyed himself (he could hear what she had said, after all), but decided not to make a big fuss over it. "Okay," he said with a shrug, then asked hopefully, "Can I have some 'candy' again? I really liked it." The maid sighed slightly before saying with a forced smile, "Not right now, sweetie. Maybe later... if you eat all your soup."
"Oh..." Azriel said, feeling disappointed, "Okay..." Slowly, under her watchful eye, he picked up a spoon and scooped a spoonful into his mouth. Satisfied that he remembered how to eat soup, the maid then turned and left him alone to finish eating before he could come up with yet another question to ask her. "It's like dealing with a man-sized toddler," she muttered as she exited the door.
Azriel stopped eating once she left and sighed heavily; he was alone... again. He hated being alone! Being alone was... boring! He kinda pushed the soup around in his bowl while placing his cheek in one hand, sulking ever so slightly. A few minutes later, he heard the door open again, and he panicked, thinking she had returned and would see that he hadn't finished his soup. He really wanted that "candy"! Picking up the bowl in both hands, he started to drink it down as quickly as possible... Which worked right until some of it went down the wrong way, causing him to drop the bowl and cough like crazy.
Recovering from the coughing fit, Azriel stared sadly down at the spilled soup that covered the table now. "Can I still have some 'candy'?" he asked, looking toward the door and expecting to see the maid standing there. The fallen angel blinked when he saw a complete stranger instead. "Who are you?" he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

☣ Calantha Sheeran ☣ I never tried too hard to get you Ever tried to fall to catch you You'll never know who I really am If I ever saw inside I let you Live a lie and I'll forget you You'll never know who I really am
Cal was still wondering why she had even bothered coming to a place like this. She had heard that the Hotel held dangerous creatures, but she had mostly heard that the people they held were good servants. Cal was lonely and she definitely needed someone in her life. She had been debating about going to the Hotel for a long time, but it was finally Zeke that convinced her to go. He had noticed how sad she had been getting lately and he of all people didn't want to see her like that. After sighing and debating and plain old sulking about, Cal finally decided that she had to at least pay the Hotel a visit. If she didn't find anyone, then she could at least say she tried. Cal was wearing a normal outfit for once, not dressed her in battle clothing that she liked to wear. Zeke and TJ liked to tease her and say she was simply wearing a bra and shorts and which resulted in them in some sort of physical pain. She liked her outfit because she could move around in it easily. She didn't care if she got scars or not.
Upon arriving at the Hotel, she went to the front desk and registered herself as well as filling out paperwork. After that, she looked through the people they suggested to her and at that moment, she happen to hear a maid complaining about a slave that was super annoying. Cal stopped and listened, discovering that he acted like a child even though he was in fact an Angel of Death. Interested, Cal got his paperwork and looked over it quickly before having a bellboy bring her to him room. She wanted to know who this Angel of Death was since they worked in the same field. Cal was used to death all around her and she was sure to get along with someone who knew it was well as she did. She wouldn't be able to stand anyone that fainted over death or over the conversation of death. Those people made Cal wish she could walk around just killing people but the painful memory of her sister always kept her in line. Cal was quiet. She never really spoke much and she was surprised that the bellboy was trying to get her to engage in conversation. When he realized it was hopeless, he gave up and left Cal alone in blissful silence while she walked to Azriel's room. She watched the door open and leaned in the doorframe, looking inside. The first thing she noticed was the angel jumping before starting to chug a bowl of what must be soup. She was about to comment, saying that he should take it slow when the angel went into a fit a coughs. He had totally inhaled soup and Cal watched with an expressionless face. Most people took her as too serious, but she didn't care what people thought.
Cal watched as the angel looked sadly down at the spilled soup and then asked for candy. She blinked and then watched as he looked at her and noticed that she was someone other than the staff. He must have been expecting that rude maid. Cal caught her breath as something painful stabbed her chest. A memory that was unwilling to surface. Cal looked at the angel called Azriel. He was handsome with his milk brown hair and eyes. His chestnut wing were big and powerful and Cal couldn't help but admire them. Something was painfully familiar about this man, but Cal shook her head to clear her thoughts. She stepped into the room, stopping only a few feet away from the Azriel. "My name's Calantha, but you can call me Cal. What's your name?" Cal already knew his name but she wanted to hear his voice. Maybe, just maybe, she would remember who he was.
