Kibbity_Kabbit2 GraceOfAngels Kibbity_Kabbit2 Tana kept her smile as she watched Carter leave class. Then her smile wavered a bit. She was happy to finally have a student, but she had her mind on other things. She returned the file to it's place on the shelf & found a comfy spot on a cushion. {Sig....where have you gone?}, Tana thought gloomily. I woke up and lifted my head to look around. My vision blurred and I yawed as I rubbed my eyes. This place really does make you feel better. I thought about the book and shake my head. There is no way out of it I suppose. Either I do use the spell or I don't, which ever I choose will probable depend on my mental state at that moment. I got the book out and flipped to the ninth chapter and started to read. "hmph" I mumble as I shut the book back. I was getting more and more annoyed at myself for even thinking that I can use the spell for those intensions.  I looked up at the teacher and quickly put the book made out of skin back in my bag so she wouldn't see. "Ahh... i'm fine Miss Tana... I already have someone helping me. I was just reading ahead to see the other different spells in the book" there was no way in hell i'm telling her about the dark intensions I had about this book. I knew necromancy was a dark art. So there is no need to bring a sweet teacher into the equation of doing the spell. "So.. whats the second lesson?" I said as I tried to distract her from the book.

Tana was a bit puzzled as to why Carter hid the book so quickly. She wouldn't force her student into sharing anymore than he/she wanted to though. They have a right to their own privacy, as she does herself. "Yes, the next lesson. Let's try one of my methods, which is basically a word game. I'll say different feelings & you tell me memories or people you associate with that word." Tana then sat down across from Carter & said, "Are you ready?"

Kibbity_Kabbit2 Tana was a bit puzzled as to why Carter hid the book so quickly. She wouldn't force her student into sharing anymore than he/she wanted to though. They have a right to their own privacy, as she does herself. "Yes, the next lesson. Let's try one of my methods, which is basically a word game. I'll say different feelings & you tell me memories or people you associate with that word." Tana then sat down across from Carter & said, "Are you ready?" I look to Miss Tana and was thankful that she didn't ask further about the book. "Sure" as she described the game it didn't seem all that hard to me. So I nodded to her and waited to her what she would say

Kibbity_Kabbit2 Tana smiled as Carter turned to face her. "Alright, well, let's start with something easy. The first word is Happy." I grinned a small smile as I thought if Emmi. "Emmi" I said with no hesitation in my voice. She really does make me happy.

Kibbity_Kabbit2 Tana smiled warmly as Carter answered the first question. {Emmi must be a really special girl to make him smile like that.}, she thought to herself. "Okay, the next word is Sad." I thought a bit about this one. There were so many memories that were sad. Some were more sadder than others. "I suppose the time when I realized that I was alone in the world." I mumble as I kept a straight face. When I went off on my own after my brother jumped off the bride; I decided that I wasn't going to be a beggar. I gambled and did underground fights as a teenager. I eventually got a steady job and lived on my own. I'm not sorry for the tough times. Although, there was a time where I did almost kill a guy in a fight. That wasn't fun but the owner of the place said I could have anything there as long as I didn't interrupt his business. I still have all my winning money from the fights in a bank.

Tana continued watching Carter as he described what each feeling meant to him. She was getting completely wrapped up in watching him open up. She almost forgot all about.....well you know. She chuckled a bit, yet her eyes were looking gloomily towards the ground. She snapped out of it & focused her eyes back on Carter. {Pay attention Tana! You can worry all about that guy later.}, she thought to herself. She was kidding herself though, because she has worried ever since he left. The feeling of unease becoming greater. Yet, she was happy to have a student to focus on instead. "You're doing great Carter. Next word: Angry.", Tana said.(So sorry for the late reply. I've been quite busy with work.) sweatdrop

I've been quite busy with work.) sweatdrop I noticed that she looked a little gloomy and then I heard what the next emotion she told me. I thought of the anger I had after my father killed my mom and when my brother jumped off. My eyes flashed blue and then back to purple. "When I saw that my a** of a father beat my mom when he was drunk." I smile to hid the anger that I felt at the memory.

Tana felt a tug in her heart when she heard Carter's feelings of anger. {How awful...the thing this young man went through.}, she thought sadly. She then noticed his eyes shift colors. With that, she gently placed her hand on his. "Focus Carter, next word is Hopeful."

Kibbity_Kabbit2 Tana felt a tug in her heart when she heard Carter's feelings of anger. {How awful...the thing this young man went through.}, she thought sadly. She then noticed his eyes shift colors. With that, she gently placed her hand on his. "Focus Carter, next word is Hopeful." I take a deep breath and toke her advice. I need to have a clear mind, maybe then i can live with out my ice facade. "Proble the moment i chose to come here..... I felt as if there was people here who can help me."

Tana smiled, "There are Carter, I assure you. You're doing excellent...next word is love." Tana could feel Carter's skin become as cold as winter. She felt the sting against her hand, yet she didn't remove it from his. She had to stay strong for her student. Any sign of weakness or uneasiness could cause unwanted damage. {He's already been through enough of that...}, Tana thought to herself.

She felt the sting against her hand, yet she didn't remove it from his. She had to stay strong for her student. Any sign of weakness or uneasiness could cause unwanted damage. {He's already been through enough of that...}, Tana thought to herself. I had to be causing her had to become cold. Yet she kept her hand there, as if she wasn't bothered by the fact that i could freeze a whole room. As i heard the word she said i though t to myself of what that could be. I can't really remember what it felt like to love. Than i thought of the fact that Emmi reminded me of my own mother. "Could it be the time i found someone as bright as my mother?" i mumble to myself.

Tana smile become even brighter. "That's very possible Carter & a very wonderful thing. Why not talk more about those thoughts? Are you your happiest when you're with this person?" Tana knew she had plenty of other words to play out, but she had become intrigued by the person who makes Carter smile. {Who knows? They may be the key to unlocking his heart.}, Tana thought cheerfully.

Tana knew she had plenty of other words to play out, but she had become intrigued by the person who makes Carter smile. {Who knows? They may be the key to unlocking his heart.}, Tana thought cheerfully. I duck my head a little as i thought of Emmi's bright smile and flashing blue eyes. "The person is the only happy thoughts i can remember aside from my mom." i replied as my head lowered a little more as i felt my face become warm. Not knowing what to do i placed my face on the cool surface of the desk.
