Shang may have trained with Maia in the park, but this was not the park and navigating the mini obstacle course of sorts with so many other bodies around was no cake walk, not in his opinion anyway.
He'd never been in a large battle, nothing but one on one, and majority with order member which only posed a minimal threat. Though Ida's magic was definitely threatening if you forgot to duck.
With balls flying left and right as well as the random pool noodle being swung, Shang found himself ducking and dodging left and right. He decided to go after Chaldene, being the first red team member he got close to, going to kick him only to find himself clocked by a random flying ball and missing Chaldene entirely.

"Nice to meet you Alfheim" Falias shook the offered hand, his grip firm but not crushing "I know Camelot" he said, adding "He was here the night that this happened" he gestured towards his outfit. He had glanced over automatically when Alfheim pointed out Maia, noticing a curly-haired red head, with the same wings on her outfit that the dark-haired girl he'd met earlier had had and he wondered if they had any significance. Maia had called them together at that point and although Falias hadn't had one previously, he had ended up with a name sticker. He was slightly disappointed that he had ended up on a different team to Alfheim, and then managed to stop himself blinking as he recognised the girl from earlier, none of the other faces were familiar - not really surprising as (apart from Camelot) Falias had met the grand total of two other people in this line of things. The aim seemed to be for one team to bring down the other and once Maia gave the symbol Falias had picked up a dodge ball and sent it in the direction of the first red bandanna that he glimpsed.

Ida was grinning then the group began a mad scramble for bandanas and amo, nearly bouncing on her toes as she took her blue bandana and wrapped it around her arm. It was a bright spot of color on her uniform, but today wasn't about camouflage.
She felt Horatio leap from her shoulder and start shouting about a pool noodle, which gave her an idea.
"I know what to do! Athene, can you play defense for me?" She said as she grinned at her team mate, already dropping into a defensive pose and searching out a good place. "Horatio! Bring me amo!" The flower senshi called to the cat, waving to Athene to follow her.
Hopefully with her friend in tow, the super senshi took up a defensible position near the balance beam in the center, scooping up a bean bag along the way and chucking it at a nearby red bandana. It flew wild, but was hopefully enough of a distraction that they got where they were going.
"We can set up a ring of defenders here, and throwers inside. Agile members like Horatio can steal amo and bring it back here to the throwers. Sound good?" Hopefully others would join them, but it could be an effective strategy even with a small number. "Defenders can throw too, but should focus on keeping the red team from reaching the throwers."Quicksilver the Archangel roll 1: miss!

-Red Team Member-Pompeii didn't see anything near by to use as a weapon so decided to 'bite the bullet' and attack a member of the blue team... but who? She didn't want to attack Lassell again since that wasn't very fair but she really didn't want to go after Maia or really anyone else that she didn't know for that matter since she wasn't that great about sensing the power levels without some thought first. So with that in mind Pompeii started to look for Shang and luck would have it he was relatively close by. With a run and a hop Pompeii was planing on jumping over the mat tower in her way and only at the last moment did she realize she misjudged and ended up just toppling the tower in a slide of blue mats. Rather then face her embarrassment she shoved her face in one of the mats and breathed for a moment, wondering if she could just sink into the floor and be done with this thing called life... but no it was not to be, the sound of a ball striking nearby made Pompeii get up and look for her next target. -blue team member-Lassell upon hearing Ida's Strategy to sucessfully beat the red team he picked up a bean bag nearby and tossed it a up before he went behind the defensive lines. "I think this plan will work" he said confidently before tossing the bean bag up for another test before throwing it towards a red team member. He silently cheered as it hit its mark.Red team hp: 601

Blue Team MembersHoratio acknowledged Ida's command with a flick of her tail, the checkered flag waving lightly before fluttering behind her. "You got it! I'll find tons of ammo, just you wait, and it'll be great. We're going to knock the socks off of those reddies!" She began to kick over tennis balls and other small objects as she ran. Okay, so she wasn't exactly aiming directly for her new friend, but she was certain at least one of the objects would roll back to her. As she ran, she spotted somene getting attacked by another Guardian Cat (Lassell and Laoise). More specifically, one of her blue team mates was getting attacked by the mock enemy! The Himalayan dashed over and made a clawless swipe for the other feline, "Pick on someone your own species!" She'd get back to getting Ida her ammunition once she was done here. == Pasiphae looked over to Athene, biting her lip in concern when he did not have a plan either. She was becoming mor eused to taking a leadership role, but she still did not particularly feel comfortable with it. Luckily, another Senshi ( Ida) had a quite excellent plan! She placed the ball where the hooded Senshi could reach it and offered, "My power allows me to place shields around myself or others--maybe I could help act as the defense? If someone calls to me, I can shield them!" [Team Red = 592]

The soccer ball had wobbled a little and moved slower then the volleyballs she was used to, but in the end she was able to hit her target again, whooping and hollering before she searched for someone else with a blue bandana.
Her eyes found a small group of them, gathered together just like bowling pins. And in the excitement Juno did exactly to them what she would do to any youma or baddy she ran into.
Sprinting forward a few steps, the senshi of the canopy rolled forward into a hand spring before flying at the group feet first. Hopefully she'd knock down those pins!!

"That's a great idea Ida" Athene said as he followed after his team mate. Dodging a random ball bouncing in his direction, Athene sent his other beanbag back in the direction he thought it had come from, although he couldn't be sure that he'd actually managed to hit anyone given that he had no idea who the ball had come from and had been throwig wild. "And sure, I'll be happy to act as defence." As the maroon senshi (Pasiphae) spoke, Athene nodded, picking a spot that he thought would give him good sight of the rest of the gym as he listened to her speak. "That's a neat ability." Athene personally wasn't sure how useful his magic would come in here - especially if it decided to be temperamental, so wasn't planning on trying to use it. Snagging a few nearby bean bags he pushed them towards the pile, while trying to keep an eye on the red team members he could see, suddenly noticing a somewhat familiar super senshi (Juno) springing in their direction. "Watch out" he called out in warning. Quicksilver the Archangel Iris_virus edited to take into account Juno :3

Lassell blew out a sigh of relief as Horatio came to his rescue he petted her "thank you for the assist" he said with a smile before diving behind the defenses. Before he picked up a tennis ball and tossed it up and down to measure the weight and see how far it would soar if he were to toss it. It seemed the page had designated himself a thrower instead of a defense. In any other cases he would be defense. But after his encounter of falling on his behind because another kitty had startled him and his pride got damaged but not too much.Quicksilver the Archangel

Sisyphus, victorious, was just starting to feel daring -- and so, when Pompeii passed in front of his hiding place, he saw his opportunity. Waiting until her back was turned, the string rolling away from her and her expression decisively embarrassed, he leapt out from behind the mats, a white blur coming at her, going for the tackle. Of course, 'tackling' wasn't exactly something that Laoise could train him in well, wasn't exactly something something he had experience with. In most of his battles, Sisyphus opted to stand back and throw stones, to hide behind an ally, or to run like hell. This would be good practice for him, at the very least. Even if his foot caught on a ball and he tumbled past her, instead of colliding....

Finally the other cat game around! Laoise released her previous target, claws coming out of Lassell's pants so that she could drop to the ground and round on the beast. Her mouth spread into a feral, delighted grin, definitely more cat than Guardian, and not exactly a domesticated one, at that. She swished her tail, waving for red, "That's a bit close-minded, isn't it? Who says we can't have a bit of cross-species fighting. Of course..." She only hesitated another moment before throwing herself at the other Mauvian, going for the loose skin at the back of her neck. She was going for subdual, but maybe she went at it with a bit too much enthusiasm, mostly just getting a mouthful of fur. Quicksilver the Archangel

-Red Team Member-Pompeii was almost to her feet when a blur of white dived passed her. It took her a moment to realize that she had just missed being attacked by a blue member. With a face Pompeii decided to return the favor and tackled the white and pink senshi. Unlike him, Pompeii's aim was a bit better and she was able to grab his foot and pull him towards her. As he tossed a bean bag in the direction of another person wearing a red bandanna, Falias contemplated his next move. Random tossing of things were all and good, but the one that he'd been told was called Maia had said something about working as a team, so maybe the best thing to do was to see if he could help out some of his fellow blue bandanna wearers.

Yay, people were listening to her! Ida felt embarrassed and pleased that her idea seemed to be well recieved by her temporary comrades. This was about learning to fight together, after all, and this let them do that while giving everyone a role that suited them. The flower senshi grinned as another defender and thrower joined them and she hefted a ball that Horatio sent rolling her way.
"Here we go!" She laughed as she drew back, just in time to see a green-haired senshi flying at them feet first. Ida squeaked as she spun out of the way, lobbing her ball at the senshi as she came. Dodging and throwing at the same time wasn't conductive to good aim though, and the ball sailed over the heads of the sparing senshi and knights. Dang it!
Ida ducked under the balance beam as she searched for more amo, trusting Athene and the other senshi she hadn't met to deal with the attacker.xD the hell is with these rolls? roll 1: miss! roll 2: miss! Quicksilver the Archangel
