Theo waited for a while and nothing happened after. Cautiously he inspected the area where the sound probably came from only to find a cornn berry nearby. "A cornn berry?"he took it and rolled it on his palm, felt real. Funny to find a berry here after a battle, like it was a reward. He placed the berry in his bag before turning to address his nidoran, "So,Crocus. How's it the battle?". They had done very well in that battle, not even a scratch on Midnight. "That's not courage. That's the litwick battling, not you"Crocus gave Theo dismissing look, the one risking life was Midnight. That was the fact. Hearing the answer that Crocus won't change his mind anytime soon, Theo could only leave it be for now.

The last round was done almost flawlessly ....as the Cacnea would clap his arms to the beat as it came to an end. The pokemon couldn't help approving of that final show of speed, power, and finest. Thus, he would simply tip his hat towards the Steelix, and with a slide ...in the ground that had been cracked and reshaped by the dancing Steelix ...he would disappear into the cervice.
Leaving them alone ...to ponder the event.

Grey Moonfang IV rolled 1 20-sided dice:
15Total: 15 (1-20)
With the Cacnea departing, Genn would return it's gesture with a simple bow. Meanwhile Raven would watch on with something of an incredulous expression. In the moments that followed a finger and thumb would come up to massage the bridge of his nose. So...the Steelix was a better dancer then him. Wonderful. Simply wonderful. His actions certainly having nothing to do with feelings of jealous of spite towards the Steelix, Raven would quickly recall Genn back into his PokeBall before returning to the road ahead. That had been something of an interesting distraction; but a distraction none the less. Their was work to be done!

(You like Cacnea)
Though as fast as one disappeared, another would appear afterwards ...as it would seem that they were walking through a cactus patch. The Cacnea in question was actually dig into the ground a bit with one arm, and then would send bits and scraps of earth off to one side. Unlike the first that seemed to have a pleasant sort of disposition ....this one was quite gloomier ...as it looks back over at Raven, and she would literally roll her eyes at him.
THe girl would declare loudly ....as she saw that the rocks refused to simply break away. This was getting to be ridiculous ...as she would turn and look at the flying type.
(Try to send it away with a blast of your wings)
She would tell Suzaku as the steel type looked at her quite insanely. So far, they have had no luck in getting rid of the rock, and considering everything that had happen ....she had little choices at this point but to give this a try.
Flapping harder and harder ....as she tries to send it flying away from her.

((Good lord it's Tiger and the Absol all over again...))
Raven's eyes would narrow at the Cacnea when it rolled on him. Something about the disrespect in that gesture irked him. He didn't expect respect without having earned it, but he also wouldn't take such an action from someone who didn't even KNOW him lying down. Releasing a heavy breath Raven would grab the first ball on his belt and toss it forward, releasing Fable onto the field.
The moment his flames touched the air the Charmander would huff flame from his nostrils, looking for their would be opponent. A Cacnea? An either conflict for one of his type...but rather then attack the Charmander would suddenly calm, tilting his head to one side. She didn't appear to be attacking them...or even threatening...
Slowly inching closer, the Charmander would slide up beside the Cacnea, tilting his head to look over her shoulder ">...what are you doing?<" He asked politely, if a bit quietly.
An odd thing would occur with Nakano's next attempt. Onee of the rocks would simply disappear, blown away in the form of multiple granules and joining the wind. Apparently it had been more dirt then actual rock...the second half of the stone however, not a second rock in it's own right however, would remain intact. At least she was down to one again right?
The boy wouldn't be able to wander far before the mists began to roll in; a shadowy black haze which obscured the world around him. What he would see would be a twisted, nightmarish mirror image of the landscape he'd seen before. Towering peaks began jagged horrors, trees seemed to loom over travellers with sinister grins...and then the snickering would return. ">Hehehehe<" A voice from within the dense fog rang clear and high, but this time it wouldn't leave the boy wondering what or whom he faced.
With half moon eyes and a wicked grin, it's phantasmal body made out of the same substance as the mists around them, Theo would have the honor of coming face to face with the Nightmare.
They were done to one ...the girl was surprise to see it work as well as the Skarmory.
"aim for that one next."
Nakano would declare sounding more than a bit encouraged about what had happen. With a swift flapping of wings, she would aim her attack at the next boulder. SHe was going to send the boulder rolling away.

Tigerveil
Flawless, the only way her final strike could be described. Though weak it was perfectly aimed and contained precisely enough force to break the rock; though it had taken her quite some time to free the Absol from it's pain, and a few of the broken rocks had actually made the injury worse. Rising, and limping clearly, the Absol would give her a nod in acknowledgement of her part in his freedom, before departing her company. She'd succeeded, but failed.
They hadn't walk long when the scenery changed to more sinister and gloomy. "Well, that's fast" Theo didn't mind the scenery change much, his only reaction was that they were entering the nightmare's territory. The earlier laughing noise could be heard again, this time it showed itself. A ghost like figures and so even it showed itself, the ghost still remained unknown creature."What are you?" Theo asked the ghost. "Are you a part of the nightmare or creature created by nightmare?".Rather than figuring it out, asking was much faster method.
Theo's pokemon didn't have much reaction either. Partially from Theo's lack of fear, he just sound so casual. The mood was ruined. Midnight wasn't scared of the ghost, being a ghost herself. It was normal to her. "Can't see your form clearly", Midnight said timidly as she peeked behind her trainer. "It's not polite to obscure your form" This was from Crocus.
The fact that the trapinch hadn't actually moved occurred to him. Was he making an irrational move? What he had just witnessed came to him as nothing more or less than an illusion. Regardless, he had engaged and Sora had to go through with it. He hated this recklessness that took over him. Poochyena's attack had made contact, but not in the sense that he wanted. The wild Trapinch merely turned itself and opened it's jaws wider. Once Poochyena was in between the jaws, the Trapinch chomped once to stop the momentum followed by a series of nibbles. "Poochyena, get out of there!" Sora shouted. Poochyena, being nibbled, attempted to get out of the grasp of the Trapinch's jaws. For a small pokemon, this Ground-type had a very big mouth.

OOC ■ I know! Sorry! I hadn't realized it until after that last post. I reread it and figured out it was wrong. I was just too lazy to change it due to the fact that it was somewhat late for me. But I'm done my first year of college so I'll hopefully I'll pay more attention to my spelling. And yes, I do believe I meant confusion, thanks!

((Oh right. Sorry got ahead of myself. >_< Dammit! Still trying to grasp the battling system ._. Edit // Wait, didn't I roll for defense though? And your next roll would be for an attack, right?))
