The corpse was given a quick glance by the dark haired woman, then a shrug. "Perhaps not that, but something equally nasty." She stated simply, arms crossing as she looked through the crowd. It seemed too many were shell shocked beyond being able to handle this mess, well it was sort of a given.
The owner of the park was in a mess on the floor and a good chunk of staff seemed to be scattered around where they'd been mauled in trying to figure out what to do. That was outside though. Either way, it wasn't exactly promising looking for the guests that had come. She felt a bit bad for them, it had to happen the day they arrived to enjoy a stay. "It's not normally like this." She added darkly, shaking her head.
She'd been there long enough to know this just didn't happen. Not that she knew how it had.

"You and me both, buddy." Tooly agreed, rose colored glasses held loosely in one hand. What a shock to take them off and realize the room had still been rose-tinted.
She'd walked down from her room, expecting to find some sort of meeting or announcement about the power outages. All appetite had fled now. She'd worked with fake blood, but there was no mistaking this scene for a fake.
Still, she was used to working with a certain gross-out factor. The older guy near the doors didn't seem to be handling the situation nearly as well. Needing to do something, she'd walked over in time to here his plea. She reached way up and patted his shoulder with a concerned hand.
"Deep breaths, man." she advised. "I'm Jean Toulouse. What's your name?"
Guest Name: Jean "Tooly" Toulouse Guest Profession: Special Effects Makeup Artist/Professional Vlogger Physical Description: Tooly's lean and lanky despite being rather short, and is decidedly androgynous. She likes to dress in faded, comfortable jeans, and concentrates an unnerving amount of color on her upper body. Her arms are covered in tattoos, which she'll proudly tell you she designed herself. She has very short, bleached white hair, and cool green eyes. Brief Character Profile: Tooly has made a place for herself on YouTube as a clever makeup artist, specializing in creating, and showing off a plethora of outfits and makeup based on mythology and fantastic creatures. She's been commissioned for movie monsters. She's got more energy than her small stature can handle and it tends to show in a lot of fidgeting, and compulsive sketching.

Walking into the dinning room to find that there was indeed a very dead body there. "Too cool," she quietly said. Now Tain really wished that she had her phone were she could take pictures. She was always in need of more research materials especially of the horror type as one cant have too much of it especially when someone want things to be more bloody but still natural looking. So Tain was totally wearing in her head as she at least was taking a few notes that were possible to make.
Taiin was still in the mind that this whole place was still an elaborate show a really, really good one since she was impressed with the quality of the creatures and all the effects. She had to know how they did it or at least with a few things as it would totally make her work more desirable.
Half listening to what others were saying as Tain was totally engrossed with looking at the body at all possible angles without touching the body or getting too close to get blood on herself. But she was enjoying studying the body in its moment of death.
Guest Name: Tain Baker Guest Profession: FX Artist/Costume Designer Physical Description: Mid thirties, with short wavy brown red that is slightly silvered hair, around 5’2” in height. Tain mostly wears jeans and a t-shirt as to not muck up her good clothing when working on projects, which is most of the time. Brief Character Profile: Tain is very curious and if need be will ask questions to get the answers she wants. She also thinks before asking or talking since Tain’s way of thinking is once you say anything it’s hard to take your words back if said wrong. Tain loves to try and figure out how things are build weather it be a prop or a costume and then after figuring it out how it was made to then figure out a way to make it look so much cooler. Don’t get Tain started talking about fabrics or your wont hear the end of it since she loves fabrics.

"I'm going to find Wickett," Cecil snarled, checking his watch again before storming towards the doorway, "SOMEONE GET THIS CLEANED UP, for Christ's sake." He gestured to the sad smear that had once been Whorl.
He liked Whorl. It was sad, really, but if his time as a Hunter had taught him anything... shedding tears for the dead did not save your own a**.
Cecil was pissed.
"If you need me or want to help without getting killed, you're free to follow."
Despite how tired she had been the evening before, Lydia had found herself experiencing a very fitful and restless night of sleep. To be fair, the woman often encountered a bit of insomnia now and again, but usually after a long day of travel and excitement like the one of the previous day, she could count on at least one long and uninterrupted evening of rest.
But no. That bad feeling in the pit of her stomach from the day before had followed her into bed that night, and try as she might, the frazzled looking woman would not succomb easily to sleep. Every time she awoke it was to look at a bedside clock that had only advanced perhaps fifteen to thirty minutes, until she jolted awake one last time, only to see a clock that was dark, with no time to display.
And that brought her back to where she stood now, at an hour so early that the sun had not yet rose, staring at the mangled remains of a corpse, and the blood that painted the floor and walls with wide eyes. The sounds of voices around her were merely a buzzing, a type of white noise that she could barely discern as she continued to stare, her breathing rapid and shallow in her chest.
And then with a sudden gasp and a shake of her head, she turned away from the scene, squeezing her eyes shut and bringing up two hands to rub at her temples. This was nothing new. She had experienced deadly situations before. In a field of work where one traveled the world in search of creatures that few believed existed, she often found herself in dire straights.
Though maybe not quite this dire......and she most definitely hadn't ever been so up close to a mutilated body before, or quite so much blood....
No. No she couldn't think about that right now. Right now she needed to think about her survival, and that meant getting with a group, preferably with people who knew what the hell was going on, and find a way out of this mess.
A familiar voice nearby drew her attention, and she turned, her squinting eyes making out Algie near the door.
"Algie!" She called out to him, her voice far too loud and sounding a lot more strained than she had intended. She plodded her way rather clumsily towards him, tripping over her own loose shoelaces and stumbling, catching herself on a part of the wall that was, thankfully, clean of blood. "Algie close the door." She sucked in a breath to try and quell the mounting panic inside of her, immediately regretting it as she could practically taste the blood that's scent permeated the air. Forcing herself to ignore it, she offered him a tentative smile. "You aren't going to die, Merman, ok? Just...stay with me, and we'll find a way out of here." Calm, yes. Stay calm. Be strong. Try not to think about that time you got lost out in the congo by yourself.....

Thank god for Moore and his shouted order. "Yes sir!" She managed to stop herself halfway through saluting. Hazard of watching too many war movies - but seeing the real thing like this, she was pretty sure that wouldn't be a problem after this. If there turned out to be an 'after this'.
Which was so not the thing to be thinking right now, and she shook the thought off as Lou grabbed her arms. "I--" don't know? Probably wouldn't go down too well. She needed to keep it together for the guests' sake, "there's been an incident, er," her eyes slid to the corpse of her boss and then quickly back to Lou. Don't think about it, "right. And Mister Moore's right, we need to get out of here, quick. Find some place sa--" and then Lou was off, attaching himself to Len. Blinking quickly from the rapid shift, Hannah moved herself closer to the two, catching only the tail end of what Len was saying; "ah, you probably shouldn't go alone - safety in numbers and all that." She took only a second to consider a course of action, "I'll join ya. Do my best to keep ya safe."
Staff Name: Hannah Everett Job Description: Security - Centaur Group Tour Guide Physical Description: Tanned skin, brown eyes and ash blonde-brown hair usually up in a high ponytail with bangs framing her face, Hannah is an athletic 26 year old woman of about 175 cm's height. Usually found loudly chewing some exotic flavour of bubblegum. Brief Character Profile: Hannah generally takes to everything in life with a constant cheerful vigour and dogged determination to get things done. She's very sociable and has an ill-hidden romantic streak a mile wide. Despite her demeanour, she's quite competent at her job.

Layla was confused about the state of things, and then horrified by the state of things. She was trying to keep her breathing under control and not panic. She was staff, she had to keep calm and set a good example for the guests but this was a nightmare! She still wasn't sure that she wasn't just having some horrid dream caused by stress and eating too big a dinner. It was the blood that really convinced her in the worst way that this might actually be real. She held her walkie talkie, useless thing, it dropped from her trembling fingers as she backed up. She didn't want to stay here, she had to go, but where was she going to go?!
Her watch gave a little beep, feeding time...she was late to feed the babies.
Oh God...if they didn't get fed they got very very grumpy. Suddenly Layla knew where to go, but for the first time since she'd started working at Wonder Park she couldn't find the enthusiasm to visit the creatures she cared for. Still she knew what had to be done, if no one took care of the babies things would go from bad to worse...
"Yeah, sure, fine," and Len twisted loose of Lou's hold, his eyes darting around the room, nervous and suspicious. "I'm going. You can come if you want. You too, whatever," he said to Hannah as she spoke up, "thanks, you know your way around, right, that'll be useful." Or she might be trying to keep tabs on them for her bosses, but if they had to they could ditch her somehow.
He stuffed the camera back into his pocket and headed purposefully for the door. Ian was with the group being herded, but the older man was smart, he'd follow. Len wasn't worried.

"Well that's a good thing this doesn't normally happen." He gave the dark haired woman, a stupid look and thinks to himself duh this doesn't normally happen.... ANYWHERE!. " I gotta find Bear." He said looking around in the chaos of more people coming in. He walked off and started searching through the crowd keeping a watchful eye out for not only Bear but whatever it was that the something equally nasty was that the lady talked about. "BEAR......COME ON WE HAVE A SAFE SPOT TO GO.... WHERE ARE YOU.....BEAR?"

Algie held his glass in one hand, leaning on the door handle and rubbing his green eyes with the other. The feeling of nausea was passing as someone else joined him. "Ah.. Algernon.." he corrected himself with a weary smile, "Algie. A pleasure.." He politely directed to Jean Toulouse. It figured that even in the direst of circumstance the englishman would find a place for manners.
He heard his name then, yelled out, "Lydia?" He turned as the woman rushed over. It was almost a relief to see her, even with her oddities and manic habits. She was as familiar as it got for him right now. He released the door when she asked him to and he stepped back inside as it swung closed.
"Alright alright.. Lydia, Jean.. Jean, Lydia" He rested a hand on each woman's shoulders, one for each. "I'm fine now... but.." His green eyes drifted over the bloody scene again, a shiver running up his spine again, "We should leave. Find somewhere safe.."
And he already didn't trust the staff. His expression as it rested on those present made that obvious. He felt that they'd been misled here.

Guest Name: Algie Mixlin Guest Profession: Comic Writer - Lecturer - Professor Group: Mermaid Physical Description: Fifties, salt and pepper neatly cut hair, he's a sort of tired-scruffy version of handsome. He dresses like a typical english professor type... sweaters, button up shirts, scarves, etc. Brief Character Profile: Algie become known for writing what are now known as 'classic' comics. Edgy politically fueled hero stories which changed the way many looked at the hero complex. He was never fond of the spotlight (not like theres much in comics) and has continued to live, almost hermit like, in a small village that is his home town. He doesn't write many comics anymore (a few small things here and there), instead often guest lectures at universities and teaches writing. He rarely makes appearances or signings and has denied connection to any movies or shows made of his works. (( Think Alan Moore-esque))

Waking up had been an experience all in itself especially when he had noticed after several frantic flickers that the lights were not coming on. When nothing worked it only worked him up more, scrambling to his bag Antonio managed to snag his medicine and take one dry, despite the fear of choking to death without any water. After a few moments of sitting on his bed with his head in his hands the man remembered he was supposed to meet up with Cora at the dinning hall.
"Cora!" Jumping to his feet he quickly changed in the dark, stumbling around like a drunk and knocking into things until he was successfully in a new pair of jeans and a black tank top. Shoving his shoes on he was out the door in a frantic rush especially when opening the door revealed a flood of bloodcurdling screams.
"What...in the world.." He questioned himself as he carefully made his way to the dinning hall. Pushing the door open the shouting busted out to him and the man widened his eyes, only not for the tone of the voices but the rosy color splashed all around. Blood. That was...blood. Why was blood all over. A hand instinctively when to his mouth to hide a look of disgusted sadness though the wrinkling around his eyes gave it way.
Looking around quickly for Cora his eyes caught on Tooly and before he could even think further his feet were moving him towards the woman. "Tooly! What is going on here. Have you seen the woman I was traveling with, Cora?.." He questioned hoping she knew something, anything! If it wasn't horribly obvious from the sweat on his forehead, wild eyes and heavy breathing the Spaniard was on pins and needles.

Brief Character Profile: Stubborn. Anyone that's met Antonio knows he's a little uneasy around a large number of people, one that prefers to do his job with as minimal talking as necessary after all he's there to do a job not make a friend. While he's a bit of a hard-a** when works involved he is able to cut loose and lay back when the situation for it arrives. He's an observer by nature which can have him coming off a little creepy at times.. well that and his own twisted sense of humor. All in all he's a generally silent sweet man until his temper gets the better of him or his 'inspiration' strikes.
Louise twisted the fabric of his costume nervously in his hands, oh no, this wasn't good at all. He had to calm down, now was not the time to freak out. This certainly hadn't turned out to be the magical trip he'd expected. From having to sit out most of the events due to a very traumatic asthma attack, self-diagnosed of course, and now to finding a corpse instead of breakfast, Louise felt a little bit like tearing his hair out.
"I'm coming! You- You should come too, Miss Hannah," he said, trying to sound brave. But in his panic, he was rushing out the door after Len, not waiting for an answer.

She seriously hoped that her knowledge of the islands would prove to be useful, but she had the sinking feeling that with the way things were now, most of her usefulness had just gone out the window. She'd relied heavily on tools for keeping the creatures under control, the handy remote for dissipating them, and now... It was anyone's game.
But there was nothing for it. Standing around moping about it wouldn't fix things and Len was right, they needed to get moving; Hannah nodded resolutely before setting off after the two others, keeping up with their strides and a wary eye on the surroundings.
Cora shook her head as she tries to get herself to get up that morning. It was just one of those days, where she felt like she didn't want to get out of bed. Rolling over, she picks up her cell, only to frown as she realized that she was without a signal. This was odd, she could have sworn she had one yesterday? Sitting up slowly, she push her mess hair from her face, which really didn't do much as she kicks the covers off.
Finally climbing out of bed, she moves over to the bathroom and flicked on the light...
Nothing...
Blinking, she tries it again, to find nothing.
"What the hell?" flicking the lights a few more times, she found herself confused before she sighs and instead just washes her face off as she best as she could without any light. Dropping the washcloth onto the sink, she fumbles with her contacts for about ten minutes, cursing the lights before she was able to get them in correct. Shaking her head, she glance around her room for a moment before she decide to test a couple more lights. Once again she got nothing.
"Something wrong.." her thoughts went back to Tonio, and how she needs to get to him. Pulling on a simple black shirt, pair of jeans, and her black sneakers. She grabs ahold of her white coat and pulls it back on as she grabs her wallet, guest card, and the useless cell phone. Stuffing them into the pockets, she turns and picks up the camera just as she opens her door. Only to be welcomes with screams.
Blue eyes going wide, she nearly ran to the dining hall, only to push those doors open. What she came face to face with almost made her throw up as she brought her hands to her noise and mouth. Blood was everywhere, almost as if a serial killer had come through and just attacked anyone on site.
have you seen the woman I was traveling with, Cora?
Turning her head towards the familiar voice, she felt the color drain as she was so glad to actually see him. Moving over towards Tonio and Tooly, she spoke softly "Tonio, Tooly....what happen...someone please tell me this is some kind of sick joke." she was really hoping this was the case, otherwise she wanted off this island right now.
