Wickett was an A+ fount of knowledge and information. If it wouldn't have made things slightly awkward, Hannah would have bowed down in the dust in gratitude.
"Ahaha, no, definitely doesn't look like a unicorn at all. Mister Wickett has the right of it." She surreptitiously got ready to move in-between the kirin and Steve, just in case.
She'd expected bloodshed, or at least dissipation. What she got was an unexpectedly calm kirin at her side. "Ahh, hey there, girl. Good job handlin' the, er, name-calling."

Bear decided to chime in. "Kirin were related to the Qilin, or were they the same as Qilin?" he asked, trying to recall from his visit over to China. He did nod at Steve's comment, agreeing. "You are very lovely." he addressed the creature directly, taking ques from the behavior of the ones at the coast. They seemed intelligent. Wasn't sure they could quite comprehend humans speech though. Maybe just keywords?
Oddly Bear seemed to show less interest in the creatures and stayed quieter, watching their surroundings. He was sure he had seen something else nearby move.
Steve glanced between Bear and the Kirin with a confused look. "And just was is a Qilin?" Steve was so lost when it came to anything you wouldn't see in a normal zoo. Although he's traveled some places it wasn't anywhere like Bear has been. "and why are you so quite, you trying to see if one of those trees move to find your giant thing?" He quickly turns his attention back to the Kirin he wasn't sure if he should turn his back on her or not. For he knew that some creatures loved to sneak up when they cant' see the eyes of something.

Irisa coos at Hannah {I'm only being good because Wickett has something that looks like it would hurt. Otherwise that human would have been gutted by now.} this all came out like soft coos and a couple of chirps as she looks down at her lap. Her head came back up when she heard the human who called her unicorn in the first place speak again. She wasn't sure what he had said, but she nods to him anyways before her eyes turn towards the other human that spoke.
At least them seem to enjoy her present. Maybe they would leave soon, and she could go back to relaxing then.
Looking back at Hannah, she tilts her head in as she looks confused at her {Qilin?} this was another chirp, her tail sweeping across the ground as she too was curious.

Name: Irisa Species: Kirin Park Location: Faerie Forest Physical Description: Standing six foot even, she has pale pinkish skin with pale green markings all over her body. With long silky teal hair that is partially held up with flowers. Pale pink eyes, full of curiosity. In the center or her forehead is curved horn that shimmers a very light green when the light hits it. Often found in her half human form instead of her kirin form. As seen here Brief Character Profile: Young, free spirit, she is a tad skittish when humans are around. Very easy to scare, and over all a very aloof creature.
Human, human, human, they were everywhere. Elafi's attention was caught a bit when the staff blew a gum bubble. Okay, she was interested in that thing. The curious Centaur made a step closer to listen what the human were saying. She turned to the other creautres and snorted. {Do they think they have great knowledge on us?}
Then, the topic was switched to surround one of them, the young Kirin. {Congratulations, dear, it seems they have big interests in you.} She didn't admit that she was a bit jealous, for what? Because those humans didn't admire her at all? No way she would say that. No.
Elafi's only action was to move closer to the curious Kirin, aka stepped in to protect her from unnecessary dangers. She did recall hearing of the "forced dissipation". She had no idea about the criteria of what human regarded as misconduct, so better stay alert. {Hey young girl, be careful of the humans, they might seem amicable but as the staff, some can kill us with just one button. As for your question, Qilin or Kirin is just how they name us, by their knowledge.}
The centaur looked at the humans, at an angle from above.
Name: Elafi Species: Snow Centaur Park Location: Faerie Forest Physical Description:Picture Reference They are lovely creatures that have a female human torso but equine bottom. Bottom is powerful and more like deer-horse mix with dense fur. Snow Centaur has tanned color skin and dark hair with silver white eyes and lip.
Brief Character Profile: Elafi always thinks that the forest is her homeland and very sensitive to outsiders. Being a centaur, she's quite aloof and headstrong, kinda a control freak. She will fight for what she thinks is correct and very realistic. Haughty and arrogant, she rarely admire or appreciate others' work. Within her kind, she's a pioneer. Lastly, she won't trust anyone easily, skeptical about what you say and will find her own way to discover the "truth". Elafi has one apparent weakness - strong maternal instinct: If you need protection, she's probably a good choice.

Being kept out of the Forest's description left the big winged one a little put out. { So I'm not worth mentioning eh? You're lucky you have leverage over me human.}
When Irisa was called a Unicorn Azrael was sure there would be bloodshed and shifted a little in the shadows to get nearer. Leaving the young one without protection would not do - in case she decided the name-calling was too much after all. Sure the dragon was vegetarian but those claws, fangs, horns and tail were not just for show.
{ Yes it would seem they think they know all about us. And I got your back if they attack.}
As it spoke to Elafi the reptilian finished setting itself in the trees behind the two creatures interacting with humans.
Steves looked on with a smile has the Kirin let out soft coos, chirps. She looked at least to him very happy and content now. His attention was quickly drawn away from the Kirin when a centaur stepped up by her. "well hello there." he said in a soft voice, Your very awesome looking now aren't you!" his eyes moved past the two creatures that where closest to them and gazed to the trees behind them. He wasn't sure but he thought he saw something move.
sorry if i missed someone

Irisa looks towards Elafi and couldn't help but smile to her as she gives her a nod {I saw the strange thing Wickett was carrying, so I'm trying to be good. I promise.} she really wanted to get up and hide behind Elafi, cause one there was just too many humans, and two Elafi was tall {I don't know why, its not like I am doing anything. Just sitting here, really. I'm actually very boring at the moment.} with a sigh, she just looks back down.
As Elafi explains Qilin to her, she was glad that she knew, otherwise she would have never gotten it. Slowly, she got up and decided it was best to put some distance between herself and the humans. Moving over to Elafi, she carefully takes a seat down near her. She honestly felt more at peace having those of the forest around, then dealing with the humans.
hearing Azrael words, she turns her head for a brief moment to see if she actually spot him. turning her head back towards the humans she looks back down as she gives a small shake of her head, but still smiles {Thank you Azrael, I'm trying to not get upset. But really, they just need to actually look to see the difference.} she was glad to know that Azrael wasn't going to allow anything to happen to her, just in case one of the humans tried something.

Akiko fluffed her tails out and gave the dragon an amused look. {Tasty? Nope not me. But of course I'm clean.}

Her attention was pulled away by the arrival of the humans though. She swayed her tails and sat back to watch the interactions for a bit. She started to move away from her spot when Irisa did but kept to the shadows until they called her a unicorn. The kitsune let out a snicker at the kirin's response then moved out of the trees fully. {Seems I was right in them confusing you first.} She grinned at Irisa playfully then peered at the humans curiously.

On second thought, leaving one forest to go to another was a terrible idea. Adam had seriously left the teapot to go to the teakettle. That's it. It was facepalm time. Double facepalm time. "You're a lawyer. Your whole job is to convince people to do things other people told you convince them to do. Why are you so crap today? Why are you so craaap? Whyyy?"
He then decided to distract himself from his surroundings by taking a look at the photos he had taken with the digital camera, so far. There were six in all. Wayra with Cerberus. Lydia with Bigfoot. Bigfoot by himself. Kiera with some trees in the background. He shuddered at that one. Kiera was gorgeous, but dem trees. Dem trees. It was like a model posing in front of cow carcasses. It just ain't right. And a couple photos of dragons, one was black and the other looked like a skeleton on fire.
He noticed a pattern here. He hadn't taken any photos of any of his male group members. He wasn't surprised. "Dammit, Freud was right." He'd have to remedy that, as well as add one of Neala to the collection. It should be easy enough. All he had to do was wait for a photogenic creature to go by one of them and then, snap!
PhiferWolf
His chance came soon enough. He saw something that looked kind of like a dog sneaking about. "Holy crap, what is that thing?" he asked excitedly. "It looks like the thing in front of Chinese restaurants. I love Chinese food. I don't even know what you are and I'm already a fan." After that, he tried to take a selfy. He looked at the result and he looked like an ambiguous brown blur. The dog came out surprisingly crisp, though.
Guest Name: Adam Terrani Guest Profession: Lawyer Physical Description: Brunette. Short, curly hair. Clean shaven. Italian. Flabby arms. Beer belly. Muscular legs. Suit, tie, dress shoes. Neon orange noise cancelling headphones. Brief Character Profile: He tends to be anxious. He seems like he's constantly in a hurry. Like he doesn't know how to relax. He loves talking. He loves the sound of his own voice. He can easily talk your ear off. It's hard to get a word in edgewise with him. He has botanophobia. Are they arriving with a buddy character? If so who: No Your AIM & Minipet SN: AIM: averyairdale, SN: Tenko72
Wayra got out of the SUV and immediately whirled around to face their guide who was still in the vehicle. "What was that back there? Those people... and those creatures, they looked like they were in pain! It was cruel!", the vet cried, her eyes watering from the memory of what had taken place as they left. The creatures hadn't looked happy. In fact, they'd looked downright miserable. And scared. And in pain.
"Does that happen all the time?", She continued mercilessly, looking around to see some other guests were still in the area along with a few creatures. Some of which looked surprisingly human-like in appearance. "Is the same thing going to happen to them?", she asked, holding her hand out towards the Kirin and Centaur that were nearby one another.
At Adam's exclamation, Wayra turned to see what looked like a very fluffy dog. A pang of worry ran through her. "Please tell me these creatures aren't going to get hurt. I don't think I could stand seeing that again." She hated seeing anything hurt that she couldn't help, and was nearly heaving at the thought of these creatures being intentionally hurt like the ones on the mountain had.

"They weren't harmed," Kiera corrected them patiently as she got out of the vehicle. "At worst it's like a shock collar on a dog. The technique is only used if a creature is becoming more wild than is safe for our handlers. Understand that they are far more powerful and thus need more than just a no to stay tame," she added emphatically. She then approached the group as Adam began taking photos.
"What you saw was a Fu Dog," she explained in a more tour guide-like voice. "Otherwise known as Chinese guardian lions. You can infer that they're symbols of good luck and were thought to help protect a home from evil spirits. That one . . . acts more like a dog than a lion."

As more people started to show up in the area Steve didn't know where to focus his attention. He was drawn to the creatures that have appeared at the edge line of the tree's seemed to be some type of fox thing but he wasn't sure what the name actually was. He noticed when he glanced at the new arrivals that one had a camera out, How could he of forgotten that he brought one with him this time. He dug in his pocket and pulled the camera out, aimed it at the Kirin and centaur and snapped a picture, He then took a small step to the side so he could get a better view of the new fox creature that appeared. As soon as he snapped the picture he heard someone talking about creatures in pain. He slowly walks up to her " Ms.... Whats this your saying about the creatures in pain?"

Akiko saw one of the humans point something at Irisa and Elafi then at her and she tilted her head in curiosity. Both of her ears where up and one was pointed at the human and one remained pointed towards the kirin and centaur as she slinked over to the male. The kitsune stopped a few feet in front of him and leaned her upper body forward a bit to stare at the camera. {What's that?} She knew the human couldn't hear her speak so she started to make some questioning yips.

Before he could put the camera away and open his notebook, the fox like animal was standing in front of him making a little noises. He looks at the camera then back at the creature " You want see this?" He turns the camera around and shows her the picture he just took of her. " pretty neat huh." He says in a sweet tone.
