"Through Darkness or Light . . ." When the wall appeared behind them, the two twins looked back and forth between each other and the girl that had put up the barrier. "You know. There is one thing wrong with that. What about the girl that is still inside the building?" As Elizabeth asked her question, Erik started to stir about, finally recovering from the stun round that had disabled him. ". . . We Will Not Back Down."

Lisa Kathleen Rolland Yes, i'm a b***h, What are YOU going to do about it? ************************************
"The sooner we get out of here, the sooner that wall comes down. She was hired to protect us. Her job right now is to buy us time. This wall does the same thing, so it looks like her and the wall are on the same side for the same purpose. In the end, it assists her mission and her job. The wall will collapse when the band is safely out of harms way. " Lisa said, irritatedly. "Lets get the ******** out of here now. She's trained to do her job, she'll be fine." ********************************************************* Pride is the line between the s**t i used to be, and the god i've become. Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
Raven, quiet as usual, was minding his own business while enjoying one of his frequent walks. He was new to the area and pleasantly enjoyed the new surroundings. His hand rested easily on his sword which hugged his left hip with loyalty. Many people have told him he should learn how to wield a gun but he refused. Something felt wrong about using a gun. He never was able to get attached to it like his sword. With his sword he felt fast, versatile, and useful. Whatever happened in battle he could know was because of him without question. Raven had grown fond of his out-dated companion, too. He rarely went anywhere without his sword with him.
Raven, gently grinning at his serene mind just happened to round the corner to see the concert hall in a less than normal state. He didn't have much time to see what was going on before noticing the sniper and instinctively dodging behind a tree. There goes his happy day. Half of his mind told him to just run and he'd be ok but then his morality screamed at him to get closer.
With a compromise of his mind, Raven decided to peer around his wooden bodyguard (which was more for concealment than protection considering the sniper could probably shoot through the tree like a piece of paper) and surveyed the scene. There was obviously a heck of a lot going on. He did not find himself very wanting to get involved in whatever was happening but meddling was what he was best at. Knowing not to draw his blade at the risk of the glint alerting someone, Raven rolled behind a nearby building. If he could get across the street without being spotted he would be in good shape, however that didn't seem to be a very easy thing to do.
Looking around for some sort of distraction Raven saw a brick and a light pole across the ways. Assuming the sniper liked his scope more than his eyes Raven may be able to break the light, distract the sniper, and get across the street. This would at least allow him to get to a new position. Being stuck and remaining undetected don't go well together.
Finally mustering up the gusto to act, Raven crouched and grabbed the broken block from the ground. He looked, aimed and threw with all of his might. The light would hopefully be enough to draw the eye of the gunsman and give Raven long enough to get across without taking a good one to the skull. Raven had been shot before and it did not feel good.

When you look into my face, I shall never lie; "Then we need to hurry up and get moving. The longer we stay here the riskier it becomes," Nick said to the group as he started heading out. He knew they had to get away from here but stay in public. The trick is where to hide.
Instead be but a window into your soul, whether there light or shadows hide;

Natalia Lucile Menard Princess? Ha ha ha. that's ridiculous. There are no princesses here, and i'll kick your ******** a** if you suggest otherwise.
As the gauntlet was blocked Natalia let it unleash it's electrical charge. She turned to the man threatening her, grabbing her guns as she did so, and fired the shot gun at the group in the hall. The hallway had them funneled in a nice little cluster, she just hoped the shot hit properly. She needed this conflict ended. With two strikes against her in two days, this s**t was personal. Someone to interrogate would make putting up with the rich b***h more palatable. "Your orders were to retreat. I'll make you wish you had done so."

The smallest lark could carry it, Anna heard Lisa and Nick and she started to head out as well but stopped a short distance away. She turned and looked back up at the ship above. Regardless who these guys are they will answer for this. Anna stood for a few moments then looked around she moved over into an alley and got ready to cover an escape if she heard any pursuit.
while a strong man might not.

"I will do everything in my power . . ."
Selene felt the charge as it ran through her body. It left a tingling sensation within her and she could tell that her muscles were no longer responding fully. She wouldn't be left to this woman's mercy. She had wanted to do as Bren asked and try to resolve things without harm to either group, but there was no following that now. As the woman turned around and fired a shot towards her comrades, Selene propped her arm along the ground to help her as she lifted the gun to aim at Natalia's now exposed back. "Now . . . you are in a worse predicament than even me. You move . . . I pull the trigger." Selene's arm shook slightly as she tried her best to force herself to hold the gun up. With her muscles numbed, the task would only become harder with time.
The Elite and one of his comrades jumped to the side, trying to avoid the shots fired by Natalia. The Elite himself rolled along the stage while the other man had jumped right off of it. The third man of the squad however was still in the hallway that had come up from the stairs. Several of the shotgun's rounds met flesh and the man stumbled backwards before falling to the ground. While BattleGear watched his comrade fall to the ground, he looked up towards Natalia to see Selene raise her rifle; however, he could also see that her holding it was a task in and of itself. "It would've been better if we could've gone and done this peacefully, but now you have killed one of our men and another lays injured at your hands. If you still care for your life, lower your weapons and come with us now."
Garenth was hoping that the men inside would meet little resistance on their way to getting Selene; however, it looked like that wouldn't be the case. Someone was in their way and it looked like she was putting up a fight. One of the life signs from the squad members vanished quickly and Garenth became slightly more worried about his squad members survival. They were on retreat, why didn't these people just let them go? Did they have some sort of vendetta against them? As Garenth continued to watch through the scope of his rifle, he received a signal from the H.A.W.K., showing another power sign nearby. He quickly turned his rifle as a light in the distance was shattered. He looked over at the light but his scanner continued to track the target, leaving an arrow on his screen. As the data from the H.A.W.K. fully reached his scanner, he looked back towards the target who had already crossed the street. 'A distraction? Been a while since I fell victim to something as simplistic as that.' Keeping his eye on the new target, Garenth awaited to see what he would do. If he came out anywhere he could see him, he would be sure to let the target know he was there.

"Through Darkness or Light . . ." Christina watched as Elizabeth fell silent. Were they just as sacrificial. That's all this girl was doing. She was sacrificing the girl that had said she would protect like she was nothing more than a pawn. Did she really care so little. Christina's hands shook in anger as she was about to step forward, but she knew that there was little any of them could do. If they went back into that field, they would be just as useless as anyone else. Christina shook her head and looked over at Lisa. "Look, you can go, but I am going to wait for her, so do whatever you wish." Christina turned to face the wall in the direction of the stage. If she heard the other girl on the other side, she would do all in her power to try and get this wall down so she could escape. As she stood there though, both Erik (even though he was shaky) and Elizabeth stayed near her. ". . . We Will Not Back Down."

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
Raven pressed his back against a nearby brick wall. He was on the right side of the street but still about a half a block away from his destination. What's more is he was positive that sniper knew he was there. Raven began to brainstorm again. He could circle the sniper all he wanted but if he was to get to the building then that also meant moving toward the sniper. Furthermore, should he give away his position, assuming it hadn't already been compromised, absolute cover would be a necessity. To add to his troubles he had no clue what type of rifle his opponent had, nor the equipment. For all Raven knew the guy could be whipping out a rocket launcher and firing a gift right at him in just a matter of seconds.
Raven sighed, he hated snipers. Nearly anything else he could handle but snipers were a real pain in the a**. One slip up and you are finished. Their accuracy and firepower is matched only by their cunning and patience.
Then, an idea crossed the stranded warrior's mind. Another trick he had learned while reading a book years ago. In the story, two snipers were in a stand off, one behind cover and the other pinning him down with his scope. The defensive sniper lifted his hat slowly into the open and coaxed a shot from the offensive sniper. Long story short, he caught the guy on the reload.
Raven, still standing behind the building slid his right arm out of his shirt. He then detached his sword from his side and slid it halfway down his sleeve. Holding the sheath in place he removed the blade from it's cover; after this the sniper would know exactly where Raven is. Crouching down, Raven slowly began to move his body out of cover, making sure the sleeve had plenty of room to make an appearance and get tagged. If all went well, the sniper would mistake the sleeve as Raven's actual body and fire. From then, Raven could glance quickly out into the open and check his adversary. If it appeared he was reloading or having to readdress Raven then he could make a break for the building. If not, well then Raven would have to think of another plan.

The woman behind her was pretty much Neutralized after that, Natalia thought, She had probably done a lot of damage to her arm... but just in case she needed to get out of shot radius. Conveniently, the the man who had fallen off the stage gave her an idea as to how to do that. She simply jumped off the stage as well. If she could illuminate the three unwounded targets she would have her hostage/unwilling informant. She just had to come out of this alive. She dove off the stage, firing another shot off at the man on the ground as she did so. If she neutralized him she could hide behind the wooden counters in the audience area, and extended gunfight her way through this s**t.... hopefully. Why the ******** did she get rid of those grenades.

Lisa Kathleen Rolland Yes, i'm a b***h, What are YOU going to do about it? ************************************
Lisa let the barrier underground fall, instead erecting a new barrier outside their exit point. She needed to maintain their cover at this point. Besides, she did hope that woman survived, and blocking an exit point was only ever intended to be temporary. She waved goodbye to the rest of them, and flew away. ********************************************************* Pride is the line between the s**t i used to be, and the god i've become. "I will do everything in my power . . ."
Selene knew that she was not going to be able to assist the Elite in any way once the girl had jumped off of the stage. Now it was just up to him. But whatever it was that they did, it needed to be done quickly so that they could get out of here, with a target or no.
The Elite shook his head as he jumped off of the stage to follow the girl just moments after she had fired again. Her rounds missed his comrade on the ground as he had ran out of the way and was now completely out of the way of combat. As the Elite moved to where he could see Natalia, he pulled back his fist and then thrust it forward, a glowing projectile firing out of it and flying towards Natalia. If the round had hit, it would detonate. If it missed, it would still detonate. He knew that he didn't need a direct hit for it to be effective, just a near miss would be fine.
Garenth continued to watch his new target through the scope. This person whoever he was wasn't moving out from behind cover it seemed, so at least he knew that was probably the better idea when fighting a sniper. Stay in cover. As he continued to watch, he noticed that the target moved slightly, just enough to let his clothing stick out from around the corner. 'Is he trying to bait my shot? Maybe he doesn't . . . hmm.' Garenth aimed towards the clothing that was sticking out and fired a shot towards it, the round piercing through the exposed sleeve, charring it from the intense heat and then impacting the ground about two feet away, leaving a scorch mark on the ground. As soon as he fired, he was already waiting for the target to move out from cover. If he did, he would aim for a leg shot.

Raven You have to go through the depths of hell occasionally....
"That's problematic." Raven said withdrawing his burnt sheathe from the sidewalk and returning it to the place at his side. He slipped his arm through the hole where his right sleeve used to be and sighed, "He's not even using bullets. Not to mention, burns hurt." he said to himself quietly. He exhaled heavily and rested his head on a gutter to think for a second.
It wasn't even a half second later he jumped up onto his feet with another idea. Sniper rifles big bad and powerful alright but they are also damn heavy. Hitting a moving target is easy when you are resting your gun or they are far away, that is why snipers prefer high ground, along with the liberty of seeing more as well. If Raven could get to at least even ground with the sniper then he would force the adversary to lift his gun. Then, zigzagging would cause a very large problem for the sniper. Furthermore, the closer Raven got the harder the shot would become and being only one building apart, albeit a somewhat longer one, would be perfect for the occasion.
Without another second's hesitation, Raven put his sword in his mouth and began to climb the gutter carefully. Although Raven didn't way too much, around 140 pounds, gutters were not meant to hold human weight. His progress wasn't too dreadfully slow and he rested on window sills to ensure he didn't exert any more effort than necessary. What he was about to do was ridiculous, stupid, and he couldn't wait.
