Kubinashi smiled softly as he heard Annabeth and nodded, snuggling closer. "alright...goodnight then"he said softly, blushing lightly.

annabeth closed her eyes and rested her head in his chest and began to him a different lullaby then before. She ran her fingers up and down his stomach.

Kubinashi purred softly as Annabeth hummed the lullaby, blushing faintly as he felt her running her fingers along his stomach. "i...love you...Annabeth..."he said softly as he slowly drifted off to sleep with her in his arms.

annabeth smiled slowly as she heard him. She was never going to get tired of hearing that. i love you too kubinashi she said as she could feel him finally slip into sleep.

Kubinashi continued to purr softly as he slept, his body relaxing and his breathing becoming shallow. The kitsunes ears twitched slightly every now and then.

annabeth carefully intertwined their legs trying not to wake him. Wrapping her arms around him she watched his ears twitch every so often which she thought was cute

Kubinashi smiled softly as he felt Annabeth move. Though he remained asleep, his grip tightened ever so slightly. His purring grew a little louder as time passed, his tails swaying happily.

annabeth sighed happily as she felt his grip tighten around her. He made he feel safe, and she hadn't get that way in a long time. He made her feel wanted

Eventually, Kubinashis eyes slowly opened. He smiled softly as he saw Annabeth still there with him, his purring growing louder. The color had returned to his skin and his tails wagged with renewed strength. The kitsune smiled more as he looked at her. "mornin"he said softly, kissing Annabeths forehead lovingly.

the kiss was what woke annabeth up. Her eyes flew open as she sat up abruptly in bed. It took her a minute to realize where she was again. When she saw kubinashi she relax and laid back down with a shy.

Seeing Annabeth suddenly sit up startled Kubinashi. His ears laid flat against his head as he looked away. "s-sorry....i....i didnt mean to wake you..."he said, feeling guilty.

annabeth felt bad for making him feel guilty. oh no no no. It's not your fault, it's just an instinct I can't help it. she said kissing his cheek and playing with his ears trying to get them up from them being flat

Kubinashi blinked as Annabeth told him it was only instinct. Feeling her kiss his cheek and rub his ears, a soft purr escaped him again, his ears perking up again. "a-are you sure?"he asked shyly.
