Rep moved out.
And didn't even need to clean his mug.

And now they were going to the beach?! Ofelia would have been way more delighted if it weren't for the fact that everyone else looked so grim and it was probably in really really bad taste to be so excited about going out on a mission. This was a real thing too, not just playing around in the Haunted House for shits and giggles, and the redhead eagerly grabbed a headset before heading toward the portal.
She was wearing her lucky flip flips, nothing could go seriously wrong this time.
....right?

Of course, of all the places they had to go to, it was the Sahara.
Ryan frowned, but didn't speak a word. He couldn't remember one good visit to the Sahara. It was that one place where you expected bad things to happen. Which the usually did. However, if this was what was decided by the higher ups, then there was no changing it and complaining about it now would do nothing but irritate them. So he kept quiet.
Regardless, once he had his gear, the moon trainee dragged his feet every step of the way.

Hearing footsteps, Jake slowly pushed himself to his feet, grabbed a headset, and shuffled through the portal.

Lex had been there the whole time, really. Just...well, he'd been up translating all night, and had fallen asleep in the middle of some riveting tale about a man, his wife, and a magical turnip. No, a mushroom. No, actually it was definitely a turnip. It had been so riveting, in fact, that Lex wanted it to absorb in his brain through osmosis.
He'd been woken by Sam's gun, and decided to follow along. The magic turnips could wait - people he cared about who'd been hurt by the Sahara were going there again. He could at least provide support.

Finishing up the last of her coffee, Kat pushed away from the table she sat at, and moved to join the crowd. With the portal set up, the sun hunter reached for her gear, slipping on the headset, as well as dragging her goggles down and over her eyes. If there was one thing she remembered about the Sahara; it was that she always got sand in her eyes whenever she failed to wear her goggles. Never again.

A lot of people seemed to be wincing about the mention of the Sahara, but all Stormy could think about was how the hotspot literally was going to be hot. Merfff . . . And that was all she was going to think about because the idea of horsemen, like herds of them, made her antsy. She still remembered when so many had appeared a few missions back . . .
But people she knew were going, and she was absolutely sure for some reason Lex and Ami had seen her. So if she didn't show, she was going to be in for a lot of disappointed looks and glares and probably extra trainee duties. Sighing, Stormy picked herself up, grabbed a few runic weapons she was cleared for, snatched a headset, and hopped into the portal with a wince.

Sherry was quiet as she grabbed her headset and followed the line of hunters through the portal. She was pretty sure she'd hear the word Sahara, and like many others she wasn't exactly excited about it. Oh well.
She stepped through that portal anyway.

Dakota grinned as Mimsy got up, instead of following behind though he wrapped his arm around waist and kept her close. "I knew you wanted me to come with you..." No Dakota. Not that was not right. I. The otherwise, Nevada smiled at Stormy and shrugged, "no need for Eunice for me." She stretched and got up herself, trailing after all the others. "Looks like hotspot will actually be hot." (Exiting for both of them...)

A portal in a kitchen. Well, that was new. Let's hope no hunter on kitchen duty stumbled through with a pot of mystery chili, though no one would be sad over the loss of any food.
Melvin followed with the group into the portal

She grabbed a headset anyway and put it on as she walked through the portal.

Jordan hung back by the door, gathering his nerve. He'd been among those voluntold for the mission, but he needed a minute to gather his nerve and resolve. He'd known that eventually he'd be sent back to the Sahara on a mission, and he'd better be ready for it, but even now, almost a year later, it was taking every scrap of willpower he had to do this.
He was never going to be ready.
He moved forward and stepped through the portal, his face an expressionless mask.
