Saiyuri smiled to herself when Magnus made contact with her mind. She greatly enjoyed it when the Mayu clansmen made contact with each other. It allowed them to pass all sorts of knowledge between each other in the brief moment of a simple thought. The feeling she emanated through the link between them was one of happiness. Saiya felt very motherly to her people and had done much for them while she was the clan head. When she had first come to this village there had been no open space for the Mayu. Each of the clansmen were having a rough time dealing with the number of people in such a small place. Saiyuri had petitioned for a compound of sorts, one far from the minds and thoughts of others. It had taken nearly two years of pushing, but eventually Saiyuri managed to get permission for a compound. It was located in one of the more derelict areas of Soragakure, but it was something. Now it was a thriving and beautiful area. "I do not wish to disturb all of you. I did not come as the Kage, but merely another citizen." Saiyuri said through the link as she took a sip of tea. When Magnus wished her a happy birthday she immediately cut the emotional leak from the link. The boy would probably notice the sudden lack of feeling, but it was better than him noticing her bitterness. "Thank you, Magnus. I am here if anyone is in need of assistance, I need to take a break from running this place." She said, sitting back and resting her elbows on the counter.

Saiyuri took slight notice of the person who entered until she felt his mind brush up against hers. Saiya turned to see the boy and even went so far as to show a curious look on her face. Saiya gestured to the sugar and without making any physical contact made it move through the air over to the boy. She reached up with a finger and touched the side of her head, then pointed at the boy. This was something Saiyuri always did to let the person know she was about to make contact with them. Most people were uncomfortable with it and this was Saiya trying to not offend them. The link would feel like a pressure against the boy's mind. "I do not recall seeing you around." Saiyuri said calmly, now smiling wryly at the boy. There were two minds in this one body; how odd. "What are your names?" Saiyuri asked the two brothers, completely aware of them both now.

Saiyuri could not help but think about how cute it was that that Sho was so shocked at what he did he could not even speak properly. She let him continue for a moment before emanating a calming feeling from her mind. Sho and Sun both would feel it wash over them and relax them. "Please, call my Saiyuri. The day I require the people to call me 'my lady' is the day I need to be impeached." Saiya said jovially, joking around of course. This was not a democracy. The Daimyo normally ruled over the land, but due to the huge destruction of the lands there was no royalty. Only military and republics dotted the lands. "I am a Mayu, we use our minds to function and fight on a level unlike others." Saiyuri said matter of factually. The boy seemed so proud of his pupeet and his shinobi-ness it made Saiya wonder if he was a new ninja. Maybe he had yet to take the time to learn much or perhaps was short on cash. "Tell me Sho, Sun. Why is it you became ninja?" Saiya questioned, wanting to get a better feel for the boys. She could dig through their minds, but that was invasive.

Ronnel blinked as Magnus switched from speaking into his mind to speaking aloud - he had half-thought that the boy couldn't do both for some reason. He scratched the back of his head as he pondered the question the teen had posed to him before shrugging slightly.

"Just wandering really. Unlike some others here, I'm not a native to Soragakure, so I don't know what's where really, beyond the Academy. I probably would have... Huh, now that I think about it, I need to do some small missions to get cash before I can buy anything." That thought hadn't crossed his mind yet, how to pay for things. The Academy had provided meals for him since he was an out-of-towner, but now that he was a full-on Genin he wouldn't have that benefit.

The blue-eyed Genin chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "On that note, uhm, someone mind telling me how to get to wherever we pick up missions?"

Saiyuri smiled back at Sho when he beamed at her. Despite the state of the world there were still people who insisted on remaining happy. They pushed past all the treachery and sadness and kept their heads held high. Saiya's mind wandered briefly, though a Mayu could always think about two things. Or two thousand. If only the common person knew and understand what went into running a village. It was an ugly job. There was money management, the need to respond to any and all demands, military control, and the need to protect the people. The cost of the upkeep for the village would scare nearly anyone to death. Saiyuri nodded her head at the boy and sagely folded her hands together. "Soragakure can use more people with a mindset like that. It is those ninja who will lead us into a prosperous and peaceful golden age." Saiyuri said, recycling words her own sensei had told her before. Deil had been more than just a teacher. He was a mentor, a leader, and most of all a friend. Together they had worked on Saiya's control over her mind. "It is a bloodline ability. The Mayu all possess a highly developed mind. We are able to use telekinesis in a number of methods; moving objects, generating barriers, levitation, and more." Saiya said as she gestured to the tea inside of her cup. She twirled her fingers and the tea began to swirl around, lifting up and then settling. "But as a result, we cannot utter a sound. It is physically impossible for us to make any noise in that manner. That is why we have this ability." Saiyuri said, tapping the side of her head. She reached for her cup after and took a sip from it, placing it down and folding her arms. Sho's question had Saiyuri looking for a proper answer. She did not want to tell him how bad it really was. Saiya never wanted the job, but took it when she had been selected. She was most qualified unfortunately. "It is a very taxing job." She started uneasily, rolling her response around in her head. "Being a Kage is not something to aspire to if you are not willing to give all of yourself to your country. There is very little time for fun, for socializing, for personal time. People will demand things of you constantly, and most importantly every single person is looking to you for answers." Saiyuri said, trying to give a very unbiased answer. A lot of people wanted the job so bad but truly had no idea what it even meant.

Zokuji threw his head back and covered his eyes, smiling softly to the sky. "Oh man, your intuition is pretty good." He slid his hand off his face and pointed over to the hospital. "She works over in the hospital. She can be a handful, and It really isn't smart for anyone to take her words lightly." The Hyuuga reached up and took a picture out of a little niche between his headband and the metal Soragakure insignia. "See? The only one crazy enough to mess with her is my Dad." He stashed the picture and grinned. "Which is probably why he works so hard as an ANBU agent. Even he needs a place to hide". Zokuji shook his head with poorly concealed affection written on his face.

He chuckled and notice the offering. His face lit up with a pleased expression and he snapped his fingers. "Lucky~" he exclaimed, taking the bread with a small nod of gratitude. He nommed on the edges while studying Piko intently, his pupiless eyes intense for a moment. Almost like a hunter studying it's prey. "But here I've just been rambling about me. Tell me something about you! We'll probably be comrades in the future...if we aren't already". He gave a playful wink and went back to nomming the rest of the bread with a considerably more innocent look.

The moment Zokuji brought out the picture to show him, Piko was made painfully aware of his lack of vision. Only making out the world from the sonic vibrations that objects naturally emitted with movement, he couldn't make out details on pieces of paper, and that included any kinds of pictures that people showed him. He'd always wanted to own one of those lockets with a picture of his family inside of it, but he wouldn't be able to see anything. Instead of showing his thoughts on his face, he just smiled and nodded, going along with the flow of the conversation. There was no need to inform anyone that didn't need to know.

"Ahh... um..." Was his first response to the inquiry, mumbling to himself. The boy wasn't exactly sure what he should tell him. It was probably and entirely innocent question, but he was extremely silly in the fact that he wanted to reveal as little information about him as possible. "I don't like sweets." He said, after giving it a bit of thought. It like the better choice over simply stating 'I like bread,' since here he was, already eating some. Painfully obvious.

Lastly, Piko turned towards Ronnel. He himself knew what the building looked like, but not exactly where, and with some mumbling he began 'looking' around, detailing his surroundings with the vibrations in order to get a better picture and sense of direction. "It's somewhere in the village." His vision poked a bit through the figures in the crowd, and he spotted someone that he'd seen a few times before in his visits to the hospital. Never spoke to her, but it was someone he recognized.

Zokuji folded his arms across his chest and nodded to himself, as if confirming something. Yup, this kid was a go-fer if the ruffian had ever seen one. The kind that would do anything to avoid trouble. Zokuji often saw it with the rougher crowds he used to hang out with..and oddly enough from the really sophisticated people in the hospital. The VIP's especially had them on hand. The conclusion yielded a slightly disappointed frown on his face as he watched Piko answer Ronnel's question.

As Ronnel walked off, Zokuji noticed him approach that one girl from the hospital. His mother had been going off about some talented youth volunteering, jokingly throwing about the fact that she would become a better healer than him if he didn't watch himself. His face soured at that. He looked back to Piko and noticed the whisper of recognition on his face. "Haha, quite popular, isn't she." He drew the crossbow off his back and tied a little note with a hastily scribbled drawing on it. He took a poised stance and flashed his teeth. "So let's make friends!" He cocked the crossbow and fired one off, aiming at the midpoint between Ronnel and Z.
