A tear appeared on Nick's left cheek as Matt and Kujo left. Nick noticed the Trick Room protocol and activated the eyepieces in his glasses. A screen appeared in front of him, it was a map of the whole hideout and the whole Trick Room matrix. The electric walls were see-through in his eyes and he was able to pass through them. A battle was occurring near him, he verified that there were two "hostiles" battling a couple of minions. He dashed towards the battle phasing through electric walls, he noticed Matt and Kujo for a split second as he was passing by, but they could find their way out. He then saw two minions losing to a couple of children. "Pathetic" he thought as he jumped in front of them to assist. "It's Nick! We're saved! One of them said as the other replied "Now's not the time to be in awe, let's give him some backup!!"
Nick looked at the first goon who praised him with his glasses, the screen revealed his team. Quick you there! Get out your other two pokemon! Tell your Zigzagoon to fall back and use Pin Missle, Supersonic and Sonic Boom in that order now!" What Nick said was a mouth-full, the goon followed orders as one of Nick's famous improvised combos took place, the sonic boom boosted the Pin Missle and Supersonic attack, creating a huge wave. It was weird as to why Nick wasn't using his own pokemon, it seemed that he doesn't need to.

"Hey, uh, Matt, I know you're worried about your brother, I'm worried about him too but are you sure we're going the right way?" Kujo asked and wondered if he should remind the guy that he was still in an ice cube while he was at it.

Nancy wasn't prepared to see Nick again so quickly, she'd kind of expected him to show up at least a few rooms in and stopped paying attention to Poirot for a short moment which was more than enough time for the other goon to send Poirot back into retreat. The herdier was badly injured and on his last legs.
"Right!" The goon released the other two pokemon of his team to do the specified commands. Since the guy had to take a second to get them out and the pokemon weren't used to Nick Nancy was already getting backup for Poirot by the time they had begun to fire,
"Ember on the magnemite! Bite the zigzagoon!" Emerson did as commanded on the magnemite and Poirot lunged for the tail of the fuzzy thing but was blown away by the other goon's pidgetotto. The magnemite was badly hurt but was still able to pull off the combo. Nancy turned her attention back to Goon#2 since she'd forgotten about him and the blasted pidgeotto. This was going to be tricky being in two places at once.
Nancy glared at Nick. "After we force these guys to surrender you are so dead! You hear me?!"
(I originally had plotted for the other goon to just be taken care of by Nancy without any effect on the battle Claves was in but since the battle has Nick now I guess I should give the other guy's info. Also it seems silly that he instantly knows all the guys pokemon and movesets immediately then has enough time to get the pokemon who are unused to Nick to coordinate so well.
Pidgeotto: Knows fly, sand attack, quick attack, and whirlwind.
Shelmet: knows yawn, bide, curse, and hidden power (normal type)
Pachirisu: Knows growl, spark, endure, and quick attack
Claves grinned when she noticed how Nancy reacted and figured that the new person was the one she was taking about as she sent out her Houndoom and Sneasel. "Alright then Fenris use smog." She said as the Houndoom breathed out the thick putrid gas making it harder for the goons Pokemon to see. "Now then Chanto pierce through with your quick attack and Namida hit them with your bone rush." She said as the Sneasel couldn't even be seen as it dashed out of the smog and went to hit the Electrode while the cubone went for the Zigzagoon as Claves giggled creepily.

".....Yeah I am..... Let's get out of here. I moved to this location because no one can see us here." Matt spoke as they were engulfed by shadows fading away. They then reappeared at the outskirts of Luna Town along with Spooks. "Where to now?"
Meanwhile
Nick signed in disbelief Damn you guys are weak! I can't believe Dr. Tenebrae even has you in this organization. Tch! I guess I have to do things myself." Nick sent out Quagy and Meta on to the battle. Meta used Miracle Eye to disable Dark immunity to psychic and Quagy used Lock-on then Ice Beam on Cubone for a sure hit. Meta then used psychic on Nancy and the girl to push them away, making them distorted.
Claves was a bit annoyed at Nick and saw the water type causing her to laugh slightly, her cubone was hit and badly damaged so. She called him back. "Hehe you'll regret that, oh Fenris show that quagsire what you can do." She said in a sadistic tone as her Houndoom turned around and went to go hit the quagsire with a thunder fang.

Quagy didn't even flinch at the thunder fang, Nick yawned "Try brushing up on your types of pokemon. Quagy use Lock-On then Water Gun point blank!" That instant water started to appear in Quagy's mouth and let out a heavy stream of water. You can't win against me. Try a different approach, like this!" Nick hopped on Meta. Quagy and Meta used Earthquake so the damage was doubled, both parties were damaged. Quagy took a little damage but could still fight. Nick's face became narrow "Nancy, if only you knew." Down from his glasses to his chin a tear ran but his face was still straight. He wiped it instantly.
"Thanks man. We need to go talk to more Guardian people. I don't think I'll need help for that once we thaw and get some rest." said Kujo cheerfully from the ice he was trapped in. The scroll had already thawed due to the thinner layer of ice and the Unown were able to do something. "Seriously though, you should probably go look after your brother. Something is going on."
We must rest but hold still, we'll get you out of there. They were able to use a fire-type hidden power with the power scaled back as Kujo winced and hoped they didn't burn him.
It didn't take long before he was standing on his own two feet dripping wet, shivering, and taking off a Team Gamma coat with some scorch marks from the Unown's lack of precision. He was unsure if he should burn the uniform or keep it in case he needed to be stealthy again. We need to go talk to people about Jirachi and Mew.

Emerson didn't need much to finish off the Magnemite thanks to it's fire weakness, a single glowing ember spat out with a good aim was all it took to make it faint. Having taken out the magnemite he and Nancy turned their attention to the Pidgeotto again. She swapped out the fainted Poirot for Clouseau and the Deino wasn't fazed in the least by the visibility loss from smog due to blindness. "Protect yourself Emerson!" Emerson quickly acknowledged the command. he did not want to be taken out by the psychic attack.
"Combusken!" Clouseau's psychic resistance unfortunately was taken out by Miracle Eye as the aquatic blast slammed into Emerson's protect attack. The Pidgeotto threw sand into Emerson's eyes once he let the protect down unfortunately and though Nancy wanted to help take down Meta something had to be done about it.
"Clouseau: Crunch. That. Bird." Nancy said angrily. Clouseau obliged and came down hard on the source of the wing flaps taking the Pidgeotto out of the running. A dark energy empowered set of teeth caused an awful sound when he bit down on the wing of the panicking bird.
The earthquake got them all. Nancy lost her footing and Emerson fainted from the critical hit which was made worse by the fact that he was her best fighter. Clouseau was barely left conscious. "Deiiiiinnoooo..."*
Nancy looked up. "It's blackmail isn't it?" She mouthed. Marple could probably put that metang to sleep- Oh, right, she'd left the togepi in the PC box. Nick had pokemon that were higher level than her own she was certain and he still had a Gigalith. "Claves, Nick's still got a charmeleon, a primape, and a gigalith to worry about. Why are you doing this Nick?!"
The shelmet wasn't looking to well either after the earthquakes. Nick had done as much damage to the goons' pokemon as he did to the intended targets but the shelmet had a ground resistance at least. Clouseau toppled sideways after valiantly trying to keep going so Nancy weighed her options. "I choose you Shawn! You too Thursday!" The odd tag team of a pokemon so tiny it fit in the palm of Nancy's hand and the Magikarp was not awe inspiring. "Thunder wa- No wait! Spiderweb!" She'd almost forgotten Nick was still on top of Meta, if she'd paralyzed him, the attack would get Nick too.
It was a taboo after wars of the past to use Pokemon to hurt humans. It was highly illegal because the miraculous recovery items didn't work on humans (With the happy exception of antidotes and freeze heals, and paralyze heals. They weren't as fast but hey.) and humans were far less resilient. Nick was a friend. Emphasis was set on the past tense but...
A sticky web was shot at the Metang and his riders.

" Wait what's setup L??" Apollo asked. " It's the trick room. It's an almost impossible maze." Zane said. " Oh yeah that's exactly what we need!" Kamina shouted. " We may never get out of here." Zane said. " Eventually we'll find out how to beat it." Neku said. The group kept walking in virtual circles. After 30 minutes Apollo shouted, " Forget this!! Gibby crush through the walls with dig!!" The Gabite Dug through the walls to no avail. " This is Impossible!!!" Apollo shouted. But the team kept wondering.
Claves glared at nick as she returned her Houndoom who had fainted from the direct blast, she then sent out her Scyther without saying much. "Now then Scyther useVacuum wave on that stupid quagsire." She said as her Scyther went in for an attack.

Nick laughed at them "It looks like you're having a hard time Nancy and along with your little friend and I don't have to tell you my reasons. As for you two, go to the healing chambers and heal your pokemon, afterwards go help the others patrol. I'll handle it from here." A spiderweb was launched and headed for Nick. He was caught nevertheless he didn't panic, he released Blaze from his pokeball. It seemed like Blaze evolved into a Charizard "Blaze use Flame Burst on Shawn! Then Quagy use Lock-On then Ice Beam on the scyther!" Blaze let loose a huge fireball while Quagy used Ice Beam on Scyther, Nick was well prepared for their attacks and defenses. Nick sat down on Meta Meta use Psychic on Shawn!"
I wonder how many rare candies he had to use to have Blaze evolve so quickly? Nancy thought under the conscious layer of thought that was screaming about how they were all doomed. In the short time they'd parted he'd somehow went from being able to wipe the floor with her team in a short time to being ridiculously overpowered beyond all reasonable belief even giving allowance for Nancy's terrible luck and lack of powerful pokemon that are rare, like a spiritomb.
Maybe she shouldn't have wasted her time trying to train a Magikarp simply because she didn't want to abandon it? Maybe she shouldn't have bothered picking her team based simply on arbitrary preferences? Maybe she should have spent 12 hours a day solid battling against other trainers to be more effective?
(Maybe I shouldn't be so sadistic to my characters and overpower them instead of being a sore loser. Toomanythingstokeeptrackofatonceattackstaketimetoexecute! AUUUUUGGHHHH I'm just bad at multitasking. Didn't the Vacuum Wave do anything?!)
"Thursday, thunder wave on Blaze then Meta!" Nancy called to stop the Charizard with its type weakness and slow him down enough to finish him off somehow. Paralysis was always a useful thing and if it slowed down the two pokemon that weren't immune to electricity that was possibly going to give them the slimmest of chances.
The time needed for Nick to call out that many attacks and for the Quagsire to lock on gave an small opening. Nancy hoarsely yelled for Shawn to keep trying to use tackle which he'd never quite gotten the hang of. The Magikarp's valiant effort was to no avail and he was blasted back by the outpouring of mental energy from a Psychic.
Nancy returned Shawn. It was painful to admit this but "We need to run for it Claves. There's no chance, he's been training a lot since I last saw him and I have no revives and I'm down to my last pokemon and..." her voice gave out.

Quagy took a hard hit from the Vacuum Wave but it wasn't something she couldn't handle, Nick pondered what he'd do next after this, maybe train some more. Anyway, Nick was falling asleep it appeared boring to him like watching a mouse squirm for freedom and life. It wasn't any fun "Well you should've known that you won't stand a chance. Run, run, run and cling to life ((Anime reference!!!)) Nancy and for what it's worth I never used Rare Candy on my pokemon in Team Gamma, what you're seeing is hard work, something you wouldn't understand." Nick was teasing Nancy. It was high time Nick fulfilled his duty as a Team Gamma member. Just when the thunder wave was going to hit Meta and Blaze, Quagy tried to move in the way of the wave but failed. She was too slow due to the Vacuum Wave. Nick told Meta to use Psychic on Shawn to get its mouth open and it did just that. Nick then tossed 2 Rare Candies into Shawn's Mouth "The reason why I gave you those Candies was because Shawn is close to evolving. Consider it a gift for our match in Sola Town. I'll let you leave this place only if you promise to go alone. I'll even give one to your friend here." He also tossed one at Claves' hand.
Claves grinned as it looked as if the attack was going to hit her Scyther but Chanto jumped in the way to take the hit as it stumbled slightly. "Well Nancy, what do you say we are in a bind at the moment." She said as she looked at nancy.

Thursday chattered angrily. She could accept defeat but the Joltik could not accept someone making her trainer cry any more. Thursday leaped at Meta with the intention of murder and no definite command given. The greenish lines of fury cutter did little damage to the steel body of the creature.
"Jolll! Joltiktiktikjoltik!"
The rare candy bounced off the pokeball Shawn was in since he had been returned. Nancy just stood there in shock and wasn't paying the least attention to her surroundings. She was wallowing in self pity again but the question needed an answer."Let's go Claves and... where's Thursday? Some other time Thursday, let it be!
The joltik gave her trainer a look that said how very much she wanted to disobey and gut Nick alive but returned to Nancy anyway. The joltik looked at the candy on the ground then pointedly sliced it to bits with fury cutter before jumping onto Nancy's shoulder.
*"Stuck up, arrogant, criminal, pestilential, knavish, heartless monster! Away with thee mouldy rogue! Nick will assault the ears of my trainer no more! Giovanni had more soul than your trainer! [Censored for foul language]"
Claves returned her Pokemon except for Chanto who batted the rare candy away and hopped towards Claves who was walking towards Nancy. "Hey listen I'm sorry we lost, we were unprepared I shouldn't have suggested we go in after the note." She said sounding a bit sad as she felt sorry for Nancy. "Maybe we should go someplace else alright." She said with a smile trying to cheer her up.
