xxxxxDancer would have looked quite cute as he slept. He awoke to the smell of delicious food, and he sniffed the air before opening his eyes to see Karuga in her ANBU clothing again. At least now he could recognize her instantly. She apologized yet again and started to move away. Instinctively, he reached out and tugged at the back of her clothing to get her to stop. "...Why is it that you girls keep hitting me..." His eyes were on the floor as he released the girl's clothing and sat up on the side of the bed, ignoring the food she had placed beside him. "Do I really deserve it that much...? Grandma, Mom, you, that Nobue girl. All you guys ever do is hit me. Am I that much of an easy target that you guys have to take out your aggression on me...?" With his shoulders drawn in, the boy had never looked so small. It was as though he were nothing more than a five year old trying to understand why his mother slapped the back of his hands after he did something he wasn't supposed to and just couldn't figure out the reason for the punishment.

She turned to look at him curiously when he sat up, looking at the floor. He asked her why do girls keep hitting him and if he actually deserved it. She sighed and pulled a chair up and looked at the boy, her mask doing its job and hiding her face. "Well, let's see. Your grandma and mother I don't know about... I slapped you the first time because you were being rude and it was to be a lesson to you..." She said, reaching forward and grasping the cut lock of hair that was missing. "I am sorry about this.... As for the Nobue girl, who I'm assuming you were bruised by, You must have come off as rude and without thinking, as most of us women don't, she punched you." She released his hair and sat back, the hand print was still glowing fairly red and she winced a bit from the sight of it. "As for the last slap from me, yes, you were being rude, but I severely overreacted at being called old and just... forgot to hold back. This does not forgive my action, I'm aware, but I am sorry... Should we meet again, I promise to not lay a hand on you like that again." She said with a finality.

xxxxxThe teenage boy watched as she moved a chair before him and began to explain to him. She dismissed his family's reasons since she didn't know them. Dancer couldn't look at her as she continued on to inform him how he was being rude to her the first time they met. If anything, she was the rude one. She came into the male's area without any real warning and then proceeded to close in on his personal space without permission before clipping one of the only things he was proud of in his life. Hawthorn flinched visibly as she reached and touched the braid she had cut short on the front of his hairline. Finally turning his green eyes up to her as she apologized for the incident, he kept his gaze on her as she spoke about Nobue's reason. Once again it was a claim that he was the one at fault. How was he at fault for trying to help her not injure herself? Women were strange. He'd never understand their reasoning.
"But I still don't get it. You were the one who intruded on my personal space. Nobue was trying to perform Raiton Jutsu without proper preparation and was causing nerve damage to herself. And you had taken something from mine and trying to get your attention. Why am I always the one at fault? I'm not rude. I just... I don't get what I need to say to people to get them to understand..." He sighed as he leaned back in the bed and looked over at the bowl of ramen. He thought for a moment before allowing his shoulders to fall. "You didn't apologize after you cut my hair without permission. That seriously pissed me off more than anything. You played it as if you were above the act of apologizing for something you did wrong. If I seemed wrong, then that's on me. But I'm not going to apologize since you seem to have gotten your revenge for it physically. Now you've apologized for it, and everything else you've done wrong to me. I do not have anything else to hold against you. If you aren't going to hit me again, then I have no reason to keep distance from you." It was the only way for him to get his thoughts across to her. "I...think I said that in a non-rude way. Right?"he asked as he looked for eye-to-eye contact and verbal confirmation with a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

xxxxxPointing towards the ramen on the side of the table, Dancer asked, "You got ramen. But... no chopsticks." He wanted to chuckle at her mistake, but thought better of it and instead moved to grab two senbon out of his bag. "I think this should work as long as I don't jab it into my tongue, don't you think?" he asked before remembering something else that the needle-like instrument reminded him of. "Karu! Listen! Earlier! The Mizukage let me hold onto a really special weapon! The Nuibari! It was the coolest thing ever! But... I was kinda worried I'd drop it and it'd impale my foot. I guess the Mizukage isn't as much of a hard-a** as I first thought when I went to get my headband from him," he prattled on as he attempted to eat the ramen with his senbon. Of course, he stabbed his tongue the first chance he had and winced before trying again and succeeding. The only thing he was truly happy about was the fact he didn't coat his senbon with any poisons.

Lord Tozuki isn't too bad of a person once you get to know him." She said with a small nod, looking at the boy. She pulled out a pair of chopsticks just as he poked his tongue with his senbon. "I had a pair of chopsticks, you're just impatient." She said with a sigh, handing them over.

xxxxxDancer shrugged when she whipped out a pair of chopsticks and handed them over to him. "Hey, getting my face curved inwards three times in one day is very hunger inducing. Ah, that reminds me." Dancer looked up from the ramen and pointed up to the girl's mask with his free hand. "You look a lot better without the mask. More approachable and stuff. You come off as less of a High and Mighty person when you talk as well," he said before taking a bite and slurping the noodles up with a content look on his face. He had gone through over half of it before remembering he hadn't seen her have any ramen for herself. "Did you want some?" he asked as he held up the food to her so she could have a few bites if she liked.

He then offered her some ramen and smiled a bit. She pulled out two senbon from the boy's tool pouch expertly before moving her mask to the side and pulling her face mask down, revealing her face yet again. She then used them as chopsticks to take a bite of the ramen before covering her face once more.

Several people looked up, called out that the Mizukage had arrive. Everyone turned and bowed, causing Tozuki to become irratated. "Stop bowing! You have lives to save!" He snapped, causing the hospital lobby to jump before working double time. He then walked around, looking into the rooms, offering condolences as necessary. He then found the pair he was looking for, Karu eating some ramen before replacing her masks. He waited in silence, staring at the two of them.

xxxxxThinking about what she said about how long it had been since someone had seen her face, he didn't understand what made her show it to him then out of everyone else she could have done it for. "Even inside the village?" he asked when she stated it was part of her job to act that particular way. "I don't see a reason to put fear and annoyance in the people of the village you're supposed to protect." He shook his head with a sigh before she stole some of his senbon and ate with them. Unlike him, she didn't injure her tongue in the process. Maybe it was because she had more time around sharp instruments, or he was just prone to self-injury. Since he had woken up, there had been something itching at the edge of his mind. While he could sense the multitude of chakra signatures within the Hospital, one had cropped up that he couldn't put his finger on. Had he sensed it before? And for some reason, it was getting closer every moment he spoke to the ANBU woman. He had just moved the bowl back to his face when he noticed a mop of green standing in the doorway.
"Ah... I thought it was familiar..." he mumbled outwardly about the man's chakra signature to himself as he took another bite, slurped his noodles and placed the bowl at the side of the table. Standing up, he bowed his head slightly in partial greeting and reverence to the stronger of the three in the room. Did the Mizukage need Karu for something? Looking between the two, he cleared his throat and asked, "I can leave if you guys need to talk in private or something....Uh... Sir...?" he added quickly once he remembered he was supposed to be polite to the man.

xxxxxDancer's brow furrowed when the Mizukage asked about his welfare. He doubted whatever it was he was about to get into trouble for could be thwarted by his saying his ANBU had technically put him in the hospital. "Yeah, I'm fine. Did... I do something to get in trouble or something? Because I swear I didn't touch that Nobue girl anywhere but her arm earlier and if she's saying I did more, she's lying." The boy crossed his arms over his chest and put on an irritated look. It wouldn't have been the first time a girl claimed she was touched inappropriately by him just by him sitting down next to them. Apparently inappropriate meant anywhere within a five foot radius to most girls.

"You are not in trouble. I am bringing you and another Genin on a potentially life threatening mission... You do not need to accept, but I would greatly appreciate your help." He turned his head to the side and mentally retched. All for the sake of the village, he supposed. Normally, he'd go in and take care of this by himself but he wasn't sure of the resistance he'd meet. Normally he'd bring Karuga but with so many Jounin missing, he'd rather her stay while he retrieved the sword personally.

xxxxxDancer gave a relieved sigh before squaring his shoulders at what the Mizukage was telling him. "A life threatening mission and you want to take a new Genin who gets abused by more women than a drunken man in a skin bar?Alright. Far be it from me to say anything about judgement calls. Just let me know when and where, I guess. Though I warn you, unless you get a papercut, I'm not going to be too much help in a fight." Thinking about it, Karu had told him about the Chakra Scalpel Jutsu. Thinking about it, it couldn't have been too much harder than the other chakra controlling Jutsu he had to learn already. As he waited for the Mizukage to tell him the information he needed, he went through the actions mentally and figured he could pull off the Jutsu if he ever had the need to.

As ordered, Makoto rushed over to the hospital with urgency. The ANBU nin didn't tell her why so she had to assume it was an emergency of some kind. She entered the lobby, huffing a little as she approached the desk. "Excuse me" she spoke up, resting her hand on the desk. The lady who was typing away feverishly, jumped and yelped in surprise at the girl's voice. Was she that engrossed in her work? Clearing her throat, she resumed with her question. "I was told to come her by ANBU and-""OH! ANBU? Lord Tozuki went that way. Tell him we're all hard at work!"the woman smiled before going back to typing. "What? No, I'm not...nevermind..." Makoto shook her head. Ignoring the secretary, it became clear that the Mizukage most likely called her here to meet him or his clone. Without a moment to spare, she headed in the direction she was told in search of the Mizukage. It took a while since she refrained from running but she soon found the green haired man in one of the rooms she almost passed. Her eyes wandered the room briefly to the ANBU ninja and the patient in the bed. She was certainly confused but hopefully the Mizukage would clear things up shortly. "Lord Tozuki" she greeted him with a bow. "Did you send for me...sir?"
