Dea gave him a reassuring smile, letting him know that it was okay.
"Don't worry about it, you didn't know any better. You were a Pokemon before, you wouldn't be expected to know about human stuff until recently. I am human, so I know, that and I use medications regularly,"Dea assured. She noticed they had finally made it to the doctor's and she motioned Eilam to take Lucy inside. She saw her Arceus man nod his head, before bowing his head to Grayson as he passed him to enter the building. He instantly walked up to the nurse's station.
"My sister is having trouble breathing, she needs help immediately. Her guardian is behind me, she will give you what information she can,"Eilam explained urgently.
"Yes...but it also..makes her stronger. She gets...upset sometimes..but we are..always there to...help her. She would..do the..same for...any of us. I guess we...do all have...our own...problems,"Lucy had agreed with Karma.

Connie halted his steps as the front door was swung open, watching as Dea motioned for Eilam to enter first with the afflicted child in tow. He attempted to slide Dea's wheelchair around, inching back and forth closer to the wall of the front of the office, but it proved to be an exercise in futility for the most part. At least there was still plenty of room for the arceus to make it past, but having to wait instead of doing something helpful in the meantime set his nerves on edge, so he attempted to focus on what Dea had said. He didn't want to admit in such shortcomings, but she was right, as much as he wanted to understand before it had become so hazardous... "I've been in this state for near on a year now. I'd like to say that I know more about living life as a human than I do, but..." he sighed, an apologetic laugh following suit, "I guess there's just always going to be something new to learn. You humans are full of surprises!"
Once Eilam made it through the entrance, Connie rolled Dea inside close on his heels, so the woman could be at the front desk to give any other information about her pokémon and her possible condition. Or anything more personal that he probably shouldn't overhear, come to think of it... Leaning over Dea's shoulder, Connie whispered to her in order not to interrupt what Eilam was trying to convey to the front desk, "I think I should get going... are you going to be fine on your own, or should I stick around a bit longer?" It was obvious that he was a bit nervous about it, but he wasn't going to leave before his usefulness was just about up.
Grayson waited until everyone else was inside before he placed a hand to Karma's back and moved zher forth, following swiftly in. As he moved closer to the front desk, he pulled out his wallet and fumbled around for identification, jaw set tight. He really hated this place...
Karma fiddled with zher shoulder bag strap once again, nervous habit baring teeth in the face of absorbed anxiety. The way Lucy was struggling to speak, the way Grayson radiated hesitation, the stress of worry from everyone in the group... it was difficult to not feel the same empathically. Was there really anything that the ditto could do? I suppose it's up to the doctors now... the child considered fretfully, masking the tenseness with a cheery, supportive smile to Lucy. "It'll be okay," Karma assured, "They'll figure out what's wrong and give you something for it, and then you'll be back to your normal self!" Hopefully without the same wheelchair as Dea... the idea was terrifying.

Dea watched as Eliam went inside with Lucy, then she felt Connie push her chair in while he spoke about what she had told him. She smiled softly to him, she knew it was still a lot to take in.
"If it makes you feel any better, there are new things we learn too as we go. Humans don't know everything either, so even we can be taken by surprise. You just have to be open to learning and you will be amazed what you find out. And if you really must go, you may, you have been a great help and I thank you so much for it. I do look forward to seeing you again,"Dea replied, having heard him say he needed to leave.
"Ah, there she is, the woman in the wheelchair is her guardian and the man near her is Dea's own father. I will let them explain the situation,"Eilam spoke to the nurse, seeing the two had followed them in. Dea quickly explained that Lucy was having trouble breathing and she suspected asthma, as a sufferer herself of such.
"Yes...I am sure...they will. Then..we can..play some...other time,"Lucy told him with a bright smile. Doctors made her a little nervous, but she knew they would give her the medicine she would need to get better.

Considering Dea's explanation a moment, Connie hadn't even realized the assumptions he had been making until that particular moment, when the idea was brought to light. "You know... you make a good point. Nobody comes into this world knowing exactly how things work; instinct only takes a person so far. Even if you live in the city, you wouldn't know everything right away, huh? Especially if you weren't on your own, or had just moved somewhere more populated..." he thought aloud, a growing smile, "You know, thanks for that. Maybe there's still some hope for me yet!" He hadn't been feeling particularly distressed about his own progress, but there were times it felt he was circling the same problems over and over again.
The teenager looked mildly sheepish as he was given the okay to leave. It wasn't that he had to leave, it was just... "I just don't want to be eavesdropping on more... personal information, that's all. I'm the only one here that's not part of the family." It was a doctor's office, some of that data was bound to be sensitive! "Come by any time you feel up to it, though, I'd be happy to have the company! Good luck!" he confirmed, waving to the group with a grin.
Grayson let Dea explain as much of Lucy's likely condition as she was apt to, refraining from adding to the conversation until words concluded. When it was his turn, his words were terse, speaking more of getting Lucy in as soon as possible instead of the condition itself -- Dea had been concise enough for that. "Considering she is having difficulty breathing, she should be seen immediately, if possible," he ended the instruction, emphasizing that Dea should know what she's talking about in relation to Lucy's condition.
Karma offered a meek smile, giving Lucy's hand a squeeze for reassurance, "Yeah, it'll be fun! Dea knows what she's talking about, though, so I'm sure this visit won't take very long at all!" Then Lucy could get some rest, and feel like her usual self again!

Dea smiled warmly to Connie, assuring him that she would be sure to come see him when everything was calm enough. She waved as he turned to leave, she could understand him not being around when personal information was given to help Lucy. She watched him go, before turning back to the task at hand. She listened to her father explain that Lucy needed to be seen as soon as possible and the nurse looked at the child in question and nodded. She went to get a wheelchair and had Eilam place the ailing girl down, before rushing her to the back.
"Alright, the rest is in their hands, hopefully she will be okay,"Dea spoke.
"Don't worry, I will go in with her, you stay out here with your father and rest of your family. Karma, would you like to come too?"Eilam asked gently.

As much as Grayson would have wanted to help with the current predicament, there was little he could do anymore. It was out of his hands, and no amount of wanting to help was going to help with that. So he waited. The waiting game... the most despicable game of all, and it seemed they were going to be forced to play another round. Karma looked around to all the worried faces, zher own creasing into a frown over it. Things would be fine, they'd see! There was nothing to be pessimistic about, now that they were here. Doctors could fix anything! Of course, until Lucy could properly breathe again, fearfulness wouldn't entirely flee the premises... zhe could understand that much. At Eilam's suggestion, Karma's mild smile returned through the worry, "If Lucy wants... Yeah, I'll go. I don't want her to be scared." Zhe could fight the suicune-hybrid's anxiety away! * * * "Hey, is she alright?" Connie slowed in his steps before coming to a complete stop, his path back to his stand precluded by the voice of someone he thought had taken off. Arashi was still mostly hidden in the shadows of the alleyway, but even in the darkness, his sandy-colored hair was hard to miss. A light smirk appeared on the tauros' face, but that was as far as his amusement would take things, lest he aggravate the eevee-boy further. "She's with family and getting medical attention, she should be fine," he explained, motioning to the office he had emerged from minutes before, "They just need to run a few tests to determine what it is she's afflicted with." Arashi frowned, still a bit confused as to what exactly happened. He could understand temporary illness -- nobody around here seemed immune to colds, after all -- but something that was always there was an alien concept. He was a wild pokémon, though: health issues like that coming up for one of his lifestyle would have been near death sentence. "Okay. Well... good then," he offered, unsure of how to respond. With a flick of his tail, he gave a half-hearted wave and moved further to the back alleys he was most comfortable with, "See ya." "Stay out of trouble," Connie called back. Who was he kidding? He knew that request was only going to fall on deaf ears.

Dea made a shooing motion to Eilam, letting him know she approved of his suggestion, before turning to look at her father. She knew that look on his face, he wanted to help, just like she did. She also looked to her mother and the rest of their family, trying to keep a smile on her face, but it would be obvious to those who knew her that she was worried.
"I am sure she will be fine, she is a strong girl. That and we got her here on time. So nothing bad should happen...I hope,"she whispered the last part.
Eilam had seen the motion from his trainer/friend/mother and nodded his head, before motioning to Karma.
"Alright, then let's go help her fight her loneliness. I am sure she could use some company,"Eilam responded, before heading in the direction they had taken Lucy. They came to a room where the doctor was looking her over, before setting up a breathing treatment for her. Eilam explained they were family and Lucy's guardian had allowed it. The doctor said they could stay with her, just try not to disturb her too much.
