Molan wandered out of the tent of... no return. Yes. That was it's new name. And found himself heading to the nearest booth as a fair pace. You know, to put as much distance between rather awkward thoughts and the pair as possible. Sadly, he just bee-lined for the worst possible booth that was nearby. Some part of him froze as he recognized the familiar pop of the machine, a whizz, bang, and... not these noises again.
He grimaced a bit as both ears fell bell and he wandered closer. This didn't involve kissing, but Mia was about to find out how bad he was with... everyone if they did this. Oh jack this wouldn't end well. Olivia had taken it well, but what if it happened again... how was he going to explain it twice. And there was that potential look from the person running it. That 'Oh... dear' look that said she pitied him. For being the socially inept creature he was, he was kind of dreading a repeat of what had happened... really he didn't want to explain it again. He'd just... sort of have to go hide perhaps.
A tentative look was given to Mia, hoping maybe she'd be bored with the thing, but then again... if she was anything like Olivia she'd be fascinated. Which meant getting close to it and enjoying the whole world seeing his ability to do absolutely terrible at this again. Great. He could pick locations. Oh yea. Totally...
"Uh this is..." Well the people in charge were happily explaining, he probably didn't need to say anything. Oh this would be taken wrong too, wouldn't it. He hadn't done it on purpose, honestly.

Following Molan into the booth, she looked around. There didn't to be any pillows or dust or... kissing (THANK JACK). Just some strange contraption that made hissing and wheezing sounds, and so many wires and... wow, just what WAS this?
She gave Molan a curious look. "What exactly do we do here?"Raja She's too overwhelmed by machinery to understand the implications... for now. xDD

Oh dear, and she'd asked. "Ah... well..." He eyed the thing, then here, then the thing again. He really didn't want to explain he'd sort of accidentally stampeded off to a compatibility machine on accident. How to best... or they could just try it. Right. Get it over with. Doing was the best way to learn. "It's... harmless." If you didn't mind your poor pride being beaten to death again. He looked to the ghoul a moment before sort of waving to one dome ambiguously. "You just... stand under there. And it reads... things." And he liked to think maybe it was a complete hoax, but well... they had come to this place, they might as well get it over with.
He let out a low sigh as he clamped his hands over his ears, wandering over toward the thing. He'd just get it over with... right now. Because it wasn't worth the pain of sticking around until someone asked him about it more. She'd learn as soon as the thing went off and chimed on about how terrible he was with everyone.
Again.
...he really shouldn't have been so bothered by it... but it did sort of bother him. He liked to think he could kind of... just a little bit... maybe get along with people? "Just walk under it and let's... get away from this noise maker." He said, somewhat grumpy as he started under one of them. And the churr, whrr, and buzzing began in his head. He was never coming to this place again, what had even possessed him to come here.
Or did he... No. No he was not curious what the results would be. This machine was terrible and wrong and. There was no way any good was going to come out of any of this. He should have just gone back to his dorm room. Things would have been easier.

Mia squinted at him. Read things? Read WHAT? She might not have known, and he might not want to tell her, but she could easily find out. But it seemed he really didn't like this place, so she didn't want to make him more uncomfortable. Following him, she stepped under the machine also, waiting as it made humming and wheezing sounds, and when it finished and announced the results, she gave a surprised look. Wait, this was...
It was then she finally heard what the booth attendant was saying, and also got a glimpse of the chart by the machine. So this was... a compatibility machine, and they had just...
Well. No wonder Molan felt uncomfortable, but the results that were announced... wasn't that bad. It kinda implied they were friends? That was ok, right?
"Well, uh... that wasn't... too bad, right? Besides, it's just a machine, you don't need to take it too seriously." She gave him a smile, hoping he wouldn't be put off about the whole thing.BY THE POWER OF SCIENCE! He once again scuffled away from the thing as quickly as he could after the noise stepped, only releasing his ears when he was safely away from the banging and clanging. Ah, delicious freedom. Sort of. He didn't get too far, obviously waiting for Mia and...
Wow those results were a lot better than he'd expected. He'd expected to somehow get around 80 apart... or something. Instead it was suggestion they got along fine. Which wasn't too far from the truth. So well, maybe the machine wasn't entirely on... a weird bender. Though that meant that Olivia was really not someone he should be around?
No, no this was all ridiculous, he merely gave her a small nod. "Right, it's just silly." He chimed in as a reply, giving the thing one last look. It was just a little weird booth for a ridiculous human holiday. He shouldn't take it to mind at all. He merely offered a tiny smile to the ghoul before wandering off away from the noisy contraption. "Let's... just go. It's too loud." Really, that was the whole reason he hated it. The think sort of gave him a headache with all the noise is made. Best to just move on to safer grounds and see what else they had to try. After all, there were quite a few booths he hadn't been to either...
And since when did he want to try them out again? ...though it was a bit fun with everyone. Slightly. ...minus Andrew.[A.V.] ONWARD... TO GREENER PASTURE....

She nodded, glad he didn't take offense. "Let's."
The noise was somewhat irritating, but she could only imagine how much more irritating it would be for Molan, especially with those ears. Besides, she did want to see the other booths, and it was kind of nice having Molan around.

Upon closer inspection, Moira was kind of creepy-looking. But perhaps it was merely Amarus' chagrin at the machine having indicated her incompatibility with Zel. Regardless, now that she was calm, she was back. Her mirror-silver eyes glinted dangerously. Zel couldn't be far behind: Amarus could now constantly see where he was, in relation to where she was, because the weird glowing threads connected them.
They were the only threads she'd ever had coming out of her chest, after all; hard to miss something that obvious. She was also no longer sugar high, thankfully. It felt as though sugar was an evil mastermind that had held her in its grip for far too long, exhausting and trying and just she had to be happy all the time. That was a lot of emotion for the Lotus Eater to try to display, given her original daily quota upon entering amityville had been approximately one smile a day, maximum.
Stepping into the machine, she looked around for Zel, so that she could nod at him and brush her fingers to her lips, pressing them against the glass dome that would separate them. The corner of her mouth quirked up in a smile.

Zel wasn't far behind Amarus, and he quickly slid under the glass dome opposite Mar and pressed his hand to the glass as well, blowing her a kiss with the other.
He really hoped the bloody machine would actually listen to their hearts and understand how amazingly compatable they were. Because hyper or mellow - Zel liked being with Amarus.
He also liked the fact that she seemed to like being around him too...

The boil didn't really need to be reminded not to engage in reckless amounts of private touching around here, but he smiled and chuckled as she made her mildly inappropriate connection anyway. He wasn't really reveling in her loss of innocence, he simply found it amusing that she was experiencing one because of him. It was gratifying somehow.
"We could look fer food," he said, seemingly ignoring her last comment to spare her embarrassment and her first because, yeah, he supposed he was a little odd sometimes. West peered around the area, smirk fading into a concentrated line as he caught sight of a group of students throwing darts. He was fairly certain he could throw a dart. He hoped he would get to throw one at someone's head.
"Or we could go that way, I guess? Maybe they got stuff t'wrestle in the back." It was a long shot, he had to admit, but who really knew what sorts of strange things the teachers around here were hiding?

Boilfriend in tow, Gene glided excitedly to the love contraption thingamgigger, staring at it with wide silver eyes. It certainly was....something. Though, to be honest, Gene didn't really think science could tell if someone was truly meant for another - but it was a fun little exercise, regardless.
Giving Moria a smile (she remembered her class with the hot springs - best class ever), the ghoul floated under one of the domes of the contraptions while Mot put himself in the other one.
This was exciting!

Oooh science! Mot wasn't much of a man for science, mostly because his father was so into it. But if it was in the name of fun, then why not? Mot chuckled and played along, waiting for the magic to happen.
So far so good? They weren't that far off from one another as far as numbers went, right?
"So what's that mean?" Mot asked with a smile.

Giving a fair nod at their score, Gene waved to Moira before stepping away from the machine with Mot, swinging their held hands. "It means we're compatible, we just need to develop our feelings some more. It'll come with time." She answered, reassuring him that they made a good couple.
"The best things come with time, right?"

And then Danny happened.
Charging straight at Gene, she tackled the ghoul with a hug, breaking the cute couple's solidarity. Gene might have been bowled over had Danny not learned with time that no, you weren't supposed to do that anywhere but the bruteball field. Even Danny picked some things up.
Inches from the ghost's face, Danny sputtered with urgency, "Gene I need your help it's really important." She looked at Mot and said, "Sorry we gotta go!"

Gene really should have been used to Danny's antics by now, and normally would have tickled Danny in revenge, or flicked her nose, or something. Today, all Danny would get at first was a slight scowl for a few second. She was with her boilfriend, Jack damn it! But, this was Danny. Her scowl settled into a firm line of her mouth before she addressed the flame demon.
"Calm down spookie, I'll help you." When did she not help the ghoul with an emergency? Like that one time Rikki had spent the night with one of his guy friends and Gene had to stay with Danny for her to sleep through the night. Sometimes the doppelganger just considered adopting the demon instead of having her own scarelings.
"Sorry dear, but I need to help her...go have some fun, alright?" She smiled to Mot, giving him a little wave and blown kiss before Danny hauled her off.

"I'm willing to keep at it. Most things do become better with time; like wine, apparently." Mot laughed, squeezing her hand. But as soon as his grip relaxed, his ghoulfriend was tackled from his grasp.
He blinked back bewilderment and looked back at the pair.
"Well, if it is really important, who am I to oppose?" Another light chuckle and kind smile from the reaper as he rubbed his neck.
