As the days dancing drew to a close she was pleased that she and her partner were not the last on the list...amazingly enough, now with the start of day two she wondered if there was a way she could somehow incorporate some Cha Cha Cha moves with the randomness that has been going on with their dancing so far "Ahi, let's try something a little different!" Ag said, never having choreographed a dance before but how hard could it be? Granted this was spur of the moment lessons so it was a tad hard but still, surely after all these years of dancing she would be able to quickly teach the moves to the fish? At least she hoped, the dance that was forming in her mind wasn't really a dance that could be learnt in two seconds but she was hoping maybe he was a quick learner?

Iris Topaz smiled they had passed the first dance competition. "This is great I did not know what we were doing but it worked." she said as she looked over at her partner but tomorrow the dance was called something like Cha Cha Cha something she had no clue what it was and she did not think her dress would work for the Cha Cha Cha dance. But thankfully the melons that were walking around with outfits and she fallowed one of them to barrow a shiny gold short dress with beading on the bottem. Not something she would normaly wear but if it got her points with the judges then it was ok.

She came back to her partner and smiled. "I hope that you like this?" Though she noticed that her partner did not seem to have his heart into this.

Ahi slowed down even stopped for a second when the one couple was eliminated, he didn't know why they were leaving but hey long as it wasn't him, he wanted that gem. Then he heard the music change "Dance more yes? Ahi dance different!" he was still all grins, but that wasn't really unusual for the water pae.

The music playing suddenly changed and all around him the type of dancing changed, so he changed too, you could call it slower then his prior dance but it most certainly wasn't the cha cha cha. He didn't really care if the female he was with copied him, he was simply having fun. He wasn't that good with learning new dances, he wasn't really trying either though

Hm, they hadn't received very good scores for that first round. Perhaps it was because they didn't know each other. Regardless, they'd do better tomorrow. Iordanes bows and kisses Serendipity's hand. "Until tomorrow," he says, and flutters off.

Day 2

Iordanes can't contain the sly smile that comes to his face when today's dance is announced as the cha-cha. He looks at Serendipity and grins. "My dear, this is our day to shine. The cha-cha is a sensual dance, a dance of flirtation and closeness and eye contact. Unencumbered by a male's awkward body, the two of us together should make for an unforgettable cha-cha!" he says.

He takes her hand and pulls her close. "Just follow my lead, and twirl your hips like this when you get a chance." He demonstrates, rotating his hips around sensually in a rolling movement. As they begin to dance, it's almost as if something long-sleeping had awoken in Iordanes. He smiles and winks at Serendipity while they dance, working his feminine curves for all they're worth. He's really enjoying himself now, moreso than he usually enjoys his mother's events, or the company of mortals. Perhaps it had been too long since he'd had real contact with other Pae.

The scored from the first day was a bit of a damper on her mood, but at least Serendipity and her beautiful partner had been able to move forward for one more day. She would have to be better, much better.

The second day's dance was announced and her Fae's heart hammered a little in anticipation. When Iordanes pulled her close and demonstrated just exactly what she was supposed to do, Serendipity was grateful for the meditation stretches she had taken up years ago. Biting her lip, thinking of how furious her father would be at such a scandalous actions, she couldn't help but reconcile with the fuel Iordanes was feeding her.

"Oh, so I move my hips like this?" She easily mimicked the movement that she'd been shown, then gave him a warm smile as the spotlight turned to them. Her movements were sensational and, for the first time since she was young, she cut lose and let her body speak; this dance was supposed to be beautiful, limber, and passionate and she wanted to do it right. Seeing Iordanes stepping up the act, she had no choice but to follow, being careful to brush intimently and tread lightly.


Once the dance was over, Serendipity looked to her partner with a bright smile, breathing a little heavily. "That was exhuberating!"

Pelagious' happy demeanor diminished a bit as he was lead onto the floor. He had really wanted to the dance with a chicken. Sure, he was dancing with someone who could turn the wheels of fate and blah blah blah. He needed a chicken so he could prove that he could be worthy of such a beautiful partner. Elsewise, he was farce.

Trying to stay upbreat, he decided that maybe he should look for a chicken. Surely one of the farmer's had showed up and brought one with them? All he had to do was find one!

He hadjust began his visual search of the dance hall, being twirled around like a madame ballerina when he regestired that Kleta had actually spoken to him. Turning back to her, he smiled, thinking that she was complimenting them both. If she was a good dancer, then he would be too right?

He had just opened his mouth to say so when he noticed the small gathering around another pae. A sullen one, a shocked one and spasming Brightly colored one. Hey, that multicolored pae could DANCE. Taking Kleta's hand and "dancing" them over to the small group, he managed to get close enough to see what they were all huddled around.

Nothing.... Now where was he supposed to find a chicken?

"Ahh so it is hearts and hooves day." Trixie gave him a little confused look as to why he'd be so taken a back, "We ponies didn't have your valentines but we had something close. Trixie had lots of admirers, but they were admirers, not dates." She shrugged It didn't seem to bother her either way.

Day 2
Trixie's ears twitched as Hymnaios talked about the cha-cha, well she tried her best, unfortunately though; it seemed Trixie's best wasn't good enough. "This blasted dance." She'd done okay with the previous day's dance despite coming in rather low on the score board. Today? Was horrible. Trixie sighed sadly she'd even tried to copy off other couples but she was doing it all wrong.

Blizz didn't know what the Cha-Cha was and wondered if the judges were just making this up as they went along. Cha-Cha sounded like something a baby would say. Never the less he took her hand and looked into her eyes. That purple...Weren't they blue before. He was going through the steps but something felt...Off. I think my partner is broken... He thought quietly to himself.
