Rei looked a little hurt, but nodded, stepping away as Usagi and Minako moved closer.
"You aren't him," Minako said suddenly. Usagi looked at her in shock, then back to Blake. None of them had dropped their transformations, but he knew them, whether he was the Blake they knew or not. "You are someone else who is another version of him. There is a wrongness about you." Minako sounded very mature and leader-like, something that had happened during all these long battles. "But Rei can't tell. Maybe she is blinded because you look like him." Minako's blue eyes had a hard edge to them, as if she was prepared to do anything to protect her Princess and friends. Usagi was about to step in when a tinkling sound arose from her pocket. Frowning in puzzlement, she reached in and pulled out her locket, a golden star. It opened on its own, and as the light shone upwards, a face appeared in it. It was a girl, one who looked no older than Usagi herself did, but the face held a deep sadness. The girl's eyes looked like the Silver Crystal, and her hair seemed to glitter in an unknown light. She looked like Usagi, or at least someone descended from her.
"Blake, this must have something to do with you," Usagi said after a few moments. The sad girl unnerved her. "My locket usually only reacts if Mamo-chan is around or in danger, and I know he's in America finishing his studies right now. Who is this girl?"

He closed his eyes for a second then looked at both of them. "I am him...in a way." He said quietly. "Its...so hard to explain." He took in a breath. He then looked to Usagi after seeing the image of the future one. "It does have something to do with me. Zodiac...he came from my world. I am Blake Ryder. Of Earth 2. I am the only survivor." He said quietly as he leaned against one of the cave walls. "Zodiac came to our planet, first thing he did was kill all of you and took your powers. He took the Silver Crystal and the talismans of the outers. He became near unstoppable with those. My...friends and I were the last heroes that could stand against him. We spent two years battling him. He killed everyone..EVERYONE on Earth. My friends fell one by one and it came down to me and Zodiac being the only ones on the planet. I was ready to just accept death. I couldn't go on. There was nothing left to live for. And then it happened...he opened a portal to another Earth. This one. I tried to stop him but got separated and sent two thousand years into the future. That, is Usagi Tsukino. The Sailor Moon of the future. I'm guessing when Zodiac destroyed my powers, we got separated in the time stream. He arrived here. But he's in the future too. The future Senshi are all dead just about. Except Sailor Moon and part of the Outers. I got sent back here by Zeke, a descendant of Sailor Mars and...well, Blake, your Blake." He said as he looked back to them. "And I guess after his death, my soul was placed into his body. But I can't seem to use any of his or my powers..." He looked to his hands. "Don't tell Rei yet. I need to get these powers working. And take on Zodiac here. In this era." He said, his eyes looking to them full of determination, pain, and anger all together.

Usagi nodded, taking a second glance at the sad girl, then closing her locket and and tucking it back in her pocket. Minako frowned, then nodded too.
"I promise not to tell Rei. And I know that Usagi's already started to try to figure out what's wrong with you not being able to access your powers," she said. Usagi had a thoughtful look on her face.
"Perhaps it has to do with your emotions..." she mused. Minako looked at her. "No, hear me out. If you are two different Blakes, with two different sets of emotions, one for Rei-chan and one for the future Usa-chan, then perhaps they aren't compatible. Maybe that is preventing you from having full access to your powers." After mulling this over in her mind, Minako slowly nodded.
"That actually makes a bit of sense Usagi-chan," she said, ignoring the hurt look from her Princess. "Perhaps you need to sort those feelings out before you can make any progress on accessing your powers." The Senshi of Love looked at Blake seriously. "Just don't hurt either of them, or in the name of the Goddess of Love, I will punish you."

"You might be right. If not about the part about feelings for a certain person. But the emotions. Personalities. Experiences. Our lives are far different from one another. But we are still the same." He then saw the Phoenix Jewel get out of his pocket and leave. Flying out of the cave and into the distance. "Wait!" He yelled looking up in confusion. "Somethings up. I think it wants me to...follow..." He said then looked to them. He then reached into his pocket and saw the same tracker he had in the future. "This will lead us to it. For now, we rest, and hide." He said with a sigh. He hated doing that, he wanted a shot at Zodiac again. "For now...I just act like your Blake." He said to them as he walked back to Rei. "Hey, sorry about that, just had to...well, figure some stuff out.." He said in a saddened tone. "We should get back to the...shrine." He said, going through this world's Blake's memories. "I sense him, Zodiac's gone...for now. Probably searching for us. We need to get back and rest, and plan. My Phoenix Jewel has disappeared. Perhaps it has something to do with me dying and coming back...or coming near death. My ties with it must have been severed." He said looking to the three. He then kissed Rei's cheek and held her close. "We'll get this figured out...and hopefully bring everyone back." He said to them.

Rei clung to Blake, nodding.
"The shrine isn't too far away. Before we leave though, we should probably let our transformations go. Otherwise, we might get mobbed by people asking us for help. That would not be ideal," Minako said after a few moments, noting that Rei didn't seem much like talking at the moment. Usagi nodded, putting a hand on her chest and closing her eyes as she let her transformation go. Rei and Minako did the same before looking at Blake.
"Let's go," Rei finally said, smiling up at Blake.

"As much as I'd like to have a shot again at him...yea, thats probably for the best." He said looking towards the ground. People needing help and not being able to do anything...it really ate away at him. He could remember when he and his friends would run into battle to stop Zodiac. When they were a beacon of hope for people. And now what? He can't even get access to his powers. It was bullshit! "Yeah. Lets go." He said, putting up a smile for Rei. "Lead the way. I'll keep in the rear. Watch our six and what not. Make sure we aren't going to be attacked from behind or anything." He said. He kissed Rei then moved to the back of the group. As he closed his eyes he could see a memory in his mind.
Black Phoenix Knight
Six warriors running through a panicked city then lining up before Zodiac. "Alright guys! Lets take it to him. Show him the Earth is nothing to be messed with! READY!? LETS DO IT!" Blake would call out before the battle before taking his jewel. "Black Phoenix Power!" "Red Phoenix Power!" "White Tiger Power!" "Blue Dolphin Power!" "Brown Bear Power!" "Shadow Wolf Power!" They all yelled as a large flash of light and power came from the six warriors. As they stood, Blake had his black and red armor. A girl, almost similar to Rei had a red armor on with a phoenix head on the chest and shoulders. A male, the age of 18 stood with white hair, black and white armor with tiger heads on the shoulders, and chest. A female stood with blue hair, long to her waist, a dolphin on the shoulders and chest. Another male stood with brown armor with a bears head on the shoulders and chest. And last but not least, Blakes best friends, Korubi. Silver hair and black armor with wolves on the shoulders and chest. Blake opened his eyes, and the vision was over. He sighed as he followed the girls

Rei looked up at Blake as he sighed, frowning.
"Are you okay Blake?" she asked quietly. Minako and Usagi were conversing quietly, trying to figure out a plan of action. "You seem worried, or upset..." she added. Her brown eyes were large and full of worry as she looked up at him.

Usagi looked up from her locket, closing it. The day had grown cold, and she stood to put on her jacket. Her senses were tingling, a dark aura making her flinch. Something was going to happen soon. She hoped that Blake would find what he was looking for in a hurry.

"Everything's fine...just...hearing ghosts of the past." He stated, not quite looking at her, just gazing into the distance. Almost as if he weren't even home in his own mind. 'Emotions. Could it be...that I've just lost my own self? I used to have things to fight for...but lately. I'm just fighting. Not for anything. Maybe vengence. But at most, thats it. Not to protect people I care for, not to be there for someone I love. My heart, its grown cold. I may be able to act like my old self on the outside. But on the inside. Pain...and just hopelessness. Hah...its easy now to see why my powers have even abandoned me.' He thought to himself as they all walked. He then looked at Rei. "Im sorry. I'm just not myself right now I'm afraid." Blake forced up a smile and scratched the back of his head. "Are you alright? We...lost a bunch of friends..." He said looking down a bit. He looked to Minako. That look she had earlier, it was bone chilling. Not even like her. Wait, how would he know that? Oh right...the other Blake's memories. He froze in his spot for a second, more memory flashes in his mind.

The six were battling the Shadow Warriors, Kenji, the White Tiger Knight had gotten near Zodiac. "Hey b*****d! Over here!" He yelled running to him. "Tiger Staff!" He pulled out a golden staff, one with a tiger head on the end, and one with a scythe on the other. He then spun it in his hands. "THUNDER BARRIER!" He yelled as lightning struck the scythe part then stabbing it into the ground a wall of energy blew Zodiac back. Kenji then rushed at him and placed the tiger head end of his staff in Zodiac's gut. "Tiger Blast!" The mouth opened and blasted him back with a wave of lightning. "That wasn't so hard now was it guys? Piece of cake compared to our other enemies." He laughed, turning his back on the enemy. A sword was shoved through his body. "Ugh...Augh..." Blood dripped from his lips. The first death of Blakes friends. Blakes eyes went wide in horror. Amaya, the long blue haired girl ran to his body when it was thrown towards them. She held his head against her chest. "No...please dont die. Please..." She cried kissing his forehead.
Blakes body tensed, he was almost out of his mind seeing this. "You...you...heartless...MURDERER!" He yelled as lightning left his body. Something that he hadn't done before. He had always used fire techniques. This was new. "You b*****d! I...I...I'LL KILL YOU!" With this roar that left him, an aura of fire and lightning surrounded his body. His demon powers had finally awoken.
There was a strike of lightning in the city, thunder roared in the sky, snapping Blake from his thoughts. "Huh? Oh...damn. Zoned out again..." He said looking to Rei.

Rei shook her head, her own face full of sadness.
"I'm fine," she said quietly. "You look like you're about to fall asleep though. That must be why you're zoning out..." By then, they had reached the shrine, and Rei forced him to lay down while she tended to his wounds. Usagi and Minako watched, still in conference together. Rei felt unnerved, her two most cheerful friends being so serious. The tension was high. She snapped finally. "Stop it! Stop it!" she shrieked, turning. "You two aren't allowed to be so serious!" Tears streamed down her face. "Laugh, do something. But don't be so serious!" Usagi and Minako looked at each other, stunned, then scooted forward to hug Rei.
"Don't worry Rei-chan. We're being serious so that you can be with Blake-san and not worry. We'll be laughing again soon," Usagi said with a small smile. Minako could afford no such smile.
"Rei, we will win, don't worry. I will make sure of it," she said softly.

"I'm fine...just a bit exhausted of my energy I guess..." He said, kissing her cheek. He was laying down while Rei fixed his wounds, still in thought, then was snapped out yet again when Rei snapped. "Hey, don't any of you worry." He sat up grabbing his vest and putting it back on. Another memory flashed through his mind. It was all of his friends dead. His best friend and the one he loved laying face down in blood. His eyes closed then opened. "We...I'll fix this. I'll take him down and make him pay for all the deaths he's caused...Why? Because thats the Blake Ryder way. Thats the Black Phoenix Knight!" He stood up looking to them. "No one....NO ONE! Hurts the ones I love and care about and just get to go free! Not without a price of their own to pay." Something had happened to him. He wasn't just wanting to fight. Through his memories, through re living the pain. And being with others. The pain had to stop. He had to stop just fighting for himself, for revenge. It was time to fight for others. To put his heart into it with his power and mind. He closed his eyes and focused on the Usagi here and put everything he had seen, both his world, and the future here into her mind. It was something he had picked up through contact with her jewel in his world. His eyes opened as he looked back to them. "We'll get your friends back. Our friends." He nodded to them.

Usagi Tsukino~Sailor Moon
Her eyes snapping open once again, Usagi sprang to her feet. The dark aura had arrived. She was momentarily blinded by a flurry of images, and she realized that they were from Blake. Sifting through them all quickly, she made sure to file away all that seemed important, then focused on the dark aura that had arrived. It seemed to be in front of her, close to her. A blast of power impacted with the tree where she'd been standing, and splintered it. The tree seemed to shatter as Usagi dove for cover behind a rock, taking out her new broach with trembling hands.
"Please work..." she whispered, kissing the double moons before holding it out in front of her. "Dual Crystal Power, Make Up!" she said, her voice soft so as not to attract attention. A strange light surrounded her, both silver and lavender at the same time. When it vanished, she was dressed in a new fuku, all lavender. The dress was sleeveless, with two laywers of sheer frills poking out from under the shortened skirt. The bows on the front and the back of the dress were sheer two, the bow on the front holding her broach, a silver moon with a golden moon superimposed upon it. Her lavender knee high boots had wings at the ankle, and she had sheer lavender wings upon her back. The moon upon her forehead shone silver in the fading light in the forest, but it was enough to show the owner of the dark aura where she was.
"Ah... There you are my pet..." Zodiac said, his hoarse voice startling Sailor Moon to look around. She jumped out of the way as another dark blast of energy came for her. "Giving me your power will be painless, I swear."

Rei looked up at Blake, then nodded. Usagi and Minako seemed to be more at ease, and so they each went over and gave Blake a hug.
"Thank you," Minako said, her words holding more meaning than Usagi and Rei would ever know.

He knew something was wrong in the future right now, but there was nothing he could do at the moment, but try to get himself powered again. "Don't thank me. There's no need. I apologize for the horrible performance earlier...everyone dying...just his overwhelming power. I lost myself. I lost myself in my own fear. I wasn't fighting for anyone, just to kill. Blinded in my own foolish rage." He stated looking away. Though it wasn't him earlier here, it was true all the same. Its all he had been doing. "Which is why starting now...I'll fight as myself." He said with a sigh. "We should get some rest though. We all deserve it..." He stated with a nod before walking into a room by himself and sitting down on a bed.

Usagi and Minako nodded, going to the guest rooms that Rei had given them a few weeks before. Rei watched them go, then followed Blake to his room.
"Blake..." she said softly, then went and sat at his feet, her head on his lap. "Good night..." She added after a few moments of comfortable silence, then stood, kissing him and going back to her own room. She'd almost told him, that she had his child growing within her, but had felt that it wasn't the right time. When would she tell him? Or her friends? She sighed, snuggling down in her blankets. It was a rough time for all of them right now, and she wasn't sure she wanted to add to it.
