The witch grinned and cocked a hip to the side. "Mmm fiesty~ I like it~" she hummed, watching the girl's rear end from under the skirt,

Trenton blinked as he was pushed aside by the obviously angered Dorothy. He tried to say something, but he was completely unable to get a word in edgewise. He watched her storm off with his ears humiliatingly flattening against his head when he saw Glinda. "Quit eye-humping her." he seethed.

Awesome nerd Now would be a great time for Westie to pop up It didn't take long until Dorithy strut back over, her eyes on Glenda. "Thank you for the clothes, Miss Glenda. While I was with the Munchkins, I heard them go on about an all-powerful Wizard. Would you mind telling us how to get to him?"

"you mean old power pants?" Glinda blinked. "yeah, he's in the emerald city......" she smiled, spinning the girl around. "right there." she hummed, pointing to a far off city that barely shined in the distance.

"Excellent." Trenton murmured, his tail flickering around behind him. "It looks like all we'll have to do is follow this pat-" He stopped as he caught sight of a small black dot slowly getting bigger. He recognized it. He wasn't sure how, but he... he knew what that was. His eyes widened. "Oh no..." he whispered and quickly grabbed Dorothy's arm. "We have to hide. Now." he said, but he was too late. The dot had zoomed in until it was a woman seated casually on a broomstick, her legs crossed suggestively but her eyes cold daggers. She had scarlet hair that complimented her pale skin and her golden eyes, and her attire consisted of Gothic-style. The broom flew low to the ground, and once it was in reach, the woman stepped down in her high heels. The munchkins appeared to have completely vanished as soon as she arrived. The woman, long used to people running from her in fear, didn't seem to notice the three people around her and walked towards the house. " What a filthy shack." she commented aloud with a slight sneer. She walked around, inspecting it, almost as if she were looking for something.

Dorothy, not liking she vibe she was getting from the woman, wrapped her free arm around Trenton's waist both protectively and out of fear. "Trenton," she whispered, pressing herself against him and watching the woman with her eyes. "Who is that, and why is she hating on my house?"

Trenton kept a firm grip on Dorothy's arm while glaring at the woman that didn't seem to take notice to them. "That is the Wicked Witch of the West." he whispered to her, careful not to alert her over them. "Perhaps the worst of the witches."
The woman studied the house until she came up a section with drag marks and imprints on it he was sure came from the Witch of the East. "So she's really gone..." she mused, her visible golden eye - the other hidden behind her hat - narrowed ruefully. "Such a shame. She was fun." Catching movement out of her peripherals, Melrose turned her head a fraction. "Oh, Glinda." she grunted her acknowledgement then looked back at the house. "Nothing. I found what I was looking for." Her gaze flickered back to the other witch. "Do you know who did this?"

"The worst...Trenton, we need to go," she whispered against his chest, tensing from terror. Her hand curled around his shirt, and she held him as tightly as she could.

Nodding, Trenton put a hand on the small of Dorothy's back and gently pushed her. "She doesn't seem to notice us." he whispered in her ear while keeping his eyes locked on the witch. "Doesn't surprise me. She's always been stuck up. And it looks like Glinda's got her attention." Slowly leading her back a few steps, the inu finally decided to risk it and looked away to where the golden road curved out of town. "If I remember right, there should be a field not far from here with a barn we could stay at until we think up a plan."
Melrose turned to stare at Glinda, fixing her with the serious glare that always meant she was serious. "The Witch of the East is dead, Glinda." she said. "I don't think you understand the severity of this situation, especially if you decide to tease during such."

She nodded. "We gonna run for it?" whispered the young woman, her shoes shifting slowly into red converse.

"That's exactly what I'm saying." he whispered and waited until they were a safe distance. He spun her around then, grabbing her wrist, began running towards the cornfields.
"Have you forgotten about the ruby slippers already?" Melrose said before inspecting the house again. "This isn't even Munchkin design. It almost reminds me of that awful contraption the Wizard arrived in." she said with a sneer.

Awesome nerd You should post first in the fields~ Dorothy tried to keep up, running faster and faster, ignoring the ache in her legs and chest. But she kept running. As long as Trenton said to, she would keep running.
