x Jane Cathaline Avery xx/xxx David Sinclair League x/x Leah Ruby League xxxxx /xxxxxxx Avery Matriarch xxxxxxxx/ Conditional Avery Heir /xxxxxxxx Future Hogwarts Student xxxxxxxx Former Slytherin xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Ravenclaw xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Unsortedxxx/ Time: Summer 2026-2027 Location: The British Museum Wearing: Clothes "Ah," Jane said with a smile as Sapphire shook her hand. "I do ask you to beg my pardon. It would be embarrassing to be mistaken for a Gryffindor now wouldn't it? Especially if you were placed into the noble house of Salzar Slytherin. Unfortunately, my grandson, prefers not to mention much about his extracurricular activities. After all, this generation has seen its fair share of poor sorting." Smiling she stepped back and looked over to Sapphire's aunt Denise and her two cousins Ryan and Carter. One being on a leash of all things. It was absolutely ridiculous looking, but perhaps the child was a bad egg for now and would eventually grow out of it. David glanced at the exchange, surprised that his grandmother didn't comment on how ridiculous of a name Sata was or even raise a brow at the name Sapphire. Then again, she was probably just happy to know that David actually did associate with Slytherins on occasion. His attention was stolen by Sata who asked about his sister. He smiled and nodded at Sata, "Yeah, Leah Ruby League. Apparently my parents borrowed a similar baby name book as yours. Or maybe they just got tired of giving family names to their children?"He was still smiling when Sapphire came over and said that he didn't know her enough to assume he didn't like children and stated she adored kids. "Perhaps, but I suppose the same could be said about me. And, my sister surprisingly does not like kids, or at least until they can talk. I think somewhere in her brain she just assumes everyone should be at least half as fluent in their communication as she is-even babies."He paused as he thought for a moment as he looked to Leah and then to Sapphire and said, "I'll assume then you wouldn't drop a child then, right? You can hold her for a moment but mind you, if you stop giving her attention she'll scream to high heaven." He smiled at his sister and asked the baby, "Aren't you a spoiled little one after all, hmm?" Leah chuckled at the face her brother made at her and David glanced back at Sapphire, wrapped up in his sister more so than worrying about arguing with Sapphire. His sister was adorable and it wasn't like she was born a month ago so she didn't have to be especially sheltered from germs or what not-actually if she did they sure wouldn't have been visiting the museum in the first place. All the while Jane Avery decided it was a good opportunity to pull out a small camera from her bag, after all, her grandson had been scowling most of the day at her so while he was distracted it would be a good opportunity to take some decent family pictures.

I can understand how it would seem as though i'm the Gryffindor. I'm rather surprised Wendy didn't tell you what she looked like." She said still being as polite as she was taught to be at the Finishing school. This would probably be the only time David ever saw her being so polite and somewhat nice. Denise just smiled as she kept Carter from doing anything too troublesome. Sapphire was turning out to be a much better young lady than she had expected. Ryan however was curious about the houses.
Sata smiled slightly at the naming choice. It did seem to be an interesting name choice. "Maybe they just wanted something different?" He asked. And was surprised to see his sister being so nice. What was going on?! When David said she could hold her, Sapphire seemed almost joyous. Almost. "That's a different idea. You liking children? That's different. And Cathy is a hufflepuff who doesn't like children? What is wrong with that situation?" She said smiling at the baby who was totally adorable. "I would give you total permission to hex me into oblivion if I harmed a hair on her head." She said in all seriousness but still smiling at the baby.

"One less muggle related course in exchange for Wendy only reporting or verifying the most necessary information, I believe. After all my youngest daughter went through a dating Gryffindor stage too. She didn't marry any so there is that to note. It was obviously a phase. Though, I guess she has made her fair share of bad decisions in the end, though. I'd have said Mr-sorry Dr. League- poisoned her fairly young considering, but he's not capable of doing that considering his unfortunate disability."David narrowed his eyes briefly at his grandmother as she rambled on, obviously irritated to some degree, but also it looked as if he more or less heard the words enough times it was expected. When Sata asked about the houses David offered, "Well that was true in my case. I wanted Ravenclaw mostly because it is one additional quiet place to study-an advantage many house common rooms lack."He shrugged and smiled when Sapphire asked about the it being a different idea of him liking children and the fact it was odd it was his sister who doesn't like children and then gave him permission to hex her if she harmed a hair on Leah's head. "I've always liked children. Have I ever said or indicated I didn't? As for my sister, the difference I have a lot more patience than my sister does. Children require patience. My sister has none if you ever bothered to pay attention.""And, regardless of the permission I actually am incapable of hexing someone," David added. "Performing any of the spells are simple, but actually on someone I can't. If you are going to be worried about harm done to you for hurting my sister, I would worry more about my Mum or even my father."Smiling David raised Leah up in the air and said, "Hmm, you want to meet someone new, kid? Just don't go catching her Slytherin traits-God knows the family has enough of those around for you to bring extra in." Chuckling he stepped forward and said to Sapphire, "Anyways, here you go, be careful with her, alright?"

Leonette Mitchell is a petite girl with brown hair and dark eyes.Whether they are brown or dark blue i'm not entirely sure." She said with a slight shrug. She kind of liked this woman. She seemed rather agreeable... Or at least she did to her. At the talk of David probably doing what his mother had done, she slightly blushed but it was hidden as David talked to her brother. "So you wanted to be in a different house and was given that house? That's so interesting!" He said thoughtfully.
"You just don't seem the type to like children, but everyone has their qualities and quirks I suppose." She said quietly as she watched how sweet he was with her. "Then I would let your mom or your lovely grandmother hex me." She said quietly as she was given the child. Sapphire wasn't sure what to expect since it had been such a long time since she had held a baby, but she could only giggle quietly as she smiled and waggled her finger at her. She was so cute. Sata was in shock by how sweet and innocent Sapphire looked with the baby. "Now I know something is up. What did you do to her?" He asked no one in particular.

However, David could easily picture his grandmother recruiting Sapphire into the ranks of keeping tabs on him. David then glanced at Sata who asked about the hat giving into his whim. "I'm fairly sure the hat as principle considers your personal choice at the time if you are adamant enough. Who knows though? It is a hat. Anyways, at this point I'm mostly indifferent to houses." He didn't seem all that concerned as his attention turned back to Sapphire and his sister as Sapphire pointed out that he didn't seem the type to like children and then pointed out she would just let his mother or his 'lovely grandmother' hex her. "My mum would be more likely to wipe your mind so that you had no idea who you were, where you were from, and could probably only speak about three words," David said with a shrug as he handed over Leah and leaned over as Sapphire giggled quietly at Leah who was happily chuckling back at Sapphire. "Since when do you think you know me well enough to assume what I do or do not like anyways?" David added with a snort before he adjusted the collar of the dress Leah was wearing. Meanwhile Jane Avery took a few pictures of David and Leah while she was being passed over to Sapphire and David continued to hover nearby, before glancing down at Sata who was asking what happened to Sapphire and Jane said, "It's only normal to love all children after all: they are our future to mold for the better." She shrugged and glanced back at Denise Snow and the two twins with the gray hair. Either metamorphagi or children who just happened to come into contact with a stray spell of some sort-sometimes of their own doing. At least in the case of Leah all she apparently did was mess with the light's in the house or move the occasional toy in her room-which still made Jane Avery's son-in-law annoyed, but of course Jane Avery and her husband thought it was brilliant.

"They sound like lovely eyes Mrs. Avery. I've always been partial to Brown eyes myself so I suppose all brown tinted eyes are very appealing." She said before looking at the baby. "Although you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen." She said smiling at the little darling that she was holding. Oh she had no idea how she was seeming. But then she looked to her Aunt. "Aunt Dee. You are being rude." She said quietly. Denise smiled apologetically. "Sorry, mon cher, but Carter is a bit rambunctious around babies. I don't want him to pose a threat of any sort to the baby." Carter did seem to be trying to find his way out of his mother's grip. Ryan however walked closer to see better.
"So as long as your wishes also go along with your personality then it's fine? That's really interesting." Sata replied. Ryan smiled shyly. "Wow, she is kinda cute. For a baby that is." Ryan said looking at Leah who was still giggling at Sapphire. Sapphire shot Ryan a look. "Sorry, I didn't realize that I was being rude." He said shrugging. Sapphire rolled her eyes before realizing how close she and David were and slightly blushing. Too bad she was looking at the baby so it wasn't all that noticeable. "I only meant that you seem the type to not like them. Didn't mean to assume anything."
Sata turned to look as Mrs. Avery said it was normal for the nice sides to come out around babies. "Maybe my parents should have another baby so she is nicer more often." He said quietly. Thoughtfully.

And when Sapphire said to her aunt about being rude and the woman apologized about the rambunctious nature of one of the twins and not wanting to pose any sort of threat to her grandchild, though Sata, Jane thought the older boy's name was, was busy bombarding David with questions about sorting and the less active of the twins was talking about how Leah was cute for a baby. Jane decided to intercept Sata as she took a couple more pictures and put the camera back in her purse. "Oh, I don't know how much that is necessarily true. My grandson is very obviously a Slytherin. He has all the traits for it: and his reasons for wanting in Ravenclaw were remarkably selfish and Slytherin, so you can never be too sure. That hat for generations hasn't given all that much thought in the sorting of the Avery family-or the Chaisty's. No matter how distant a drop of blood of those families have been, and no matter how much it has been worked to be erased only my grandson and his sister have managed to get sorted into anything but Slytherin. Oh, even my infamous great niece's halfblood son end up in Slytherin and I hear he's inherited quite a few obnoxious Gryffindor traits from that father of his," She said with a large smile as she leaned down to Sata's level and said her words fairly quiet though plenty loud enough that the gist of her words could be caught-not that Jane Avery cared, it was all true. David frowned as his grandmother spoke to Sata and then when Ryan came up and said that his sister was kinda cute for a baby David's glare synced up with Sapphire, not that he entirely noticed. With a roll of his eyes, David turned his gaze back to his sister and listened to Sapphire's reply about saying he merely seemed the type not to like them. "What is that supposed to mean? I seem the type not to like them? I generally like those my sister's age or younger. The only reason I have any problems with Cathy's class is the obvious reasons-exactly your problem with Celeana."He shrugged and said, "And, I don't really know if you want Sata to be repeating whatever nonsense my grandmother is trying to hook him on. You say you aren't fond of Wendy, right? Who do you think was responsible for her last couple years of education and training before attending Hogwarts? Honestly, my mother made my sister do similar etiquette training but my sister thought she was a muggle so she didn't even know the word 'squib' was insulting. She honestly thought when people were talking about blood in the wizarding world it was about blood types. Maybe, I did brainwash my own sister into being a Hufflepuff since I was supposed to have prepared her properly for attending Hogwarts." David snorted. "Anyways, if you want I can take Leah off your hands and you can go on your merry way with your family. Don't want to ruin that 'I hate everyone and everyone should hate me' thing you work so hard for."

She had kneeled down to talk to him which was a first, most people just looked down at him. It was intriguing to have someone try to talk to him on his height. "That's very interesting, Mrs. Avery. So it also goes to bloodline? Huh..." He said thoughtfully. It was very interesting.
"That's not what I meant. I suppose I just assumed by how you were that you wouldn't Alright? Is that the answer you were searching for?!" She said looking up from Leah to David. Her face was slightly red at how close they were standing but she knew it was only because of the baby. "My sister is the exact opposite of me. If that's what you mean about Cathy than I suppose you are right." She said looking back at the baby. She smiled and poked her nose very gently. When David started talking about her brother she smirked.
"Are you kidding? Sata hardly listens to a word said to him." She said quietly. When he offered to take the baby back so she could get to her family, and do whatever it was that she did work so hard for, she sighed. "You have no idea why I want to be hated." She said quietly as she smiled at Leah again. But she reluctantly returned him to David and stepped back. "You are correct. I suppose. Wouldn't want people thinking I had a sweet side now would I?" She said a little louder.

"Genetics influence a great deal of things from your eye color to your nose shape after all. Though, that sort of technicalities never mattered. Maybe people who come from a family of one house tend to want to be placed in the same house as their forefathers?"David raised a brow as Sapphire back-tracked on what she had said and tried to explain it only to give the answer that she merely assumed that with how he was he wouldn't like children. "Yeah, you still haven't flat out said what exactly I am supposed to be that indicates why I'd not like children. Children and people your own age or seniors are completely different type of people," He added with a tsk. "And, actually, Cathy isn't the complete opposite of me. If you ever pay attention we do have the same expressions and can take the same approach to a problem-generally we do-she just has the tact I don't really care to waste my time on. And, no, I wasn't referring to the personal differences. I was referring to the fact that Cathy had guys her first year at Hogwarts asking about her way more than a mere friend should-and you obviously noticed that blue haired kid chatting up your sister. Like that, more so. But if I wanted to have a sister that is more similar to me I could always adopt Mira. She gets along better with me than Leo anyways."He raised a brow as Sapphire answered that Sata hardly listens to a word that is said to him, "But it is the few words that he does listen to that are dangerous." He shrugged and as he took back Leah he glanced at Sapphire who said he had no idea why she wanted to be hated and then said she didn't want people to think she had a sweet side. "Is that the Slytherin way? Never show you actually have emotions. Maybe, I am less of a Slytherin than I thought. I don't care if people know I actually like my little sister or not. Actually, it shouldn't be all that surprising considering my ambitions.""And as for you wanting to be hated, you act like I should give a damn. I don't care about human psychology-I care about something definitively measured like one's physical health," David answered, looking down at Leah as she reached out for Sapphire about to burst into tears and David let out a sigh and muttered the spell 'Quietus' under his breath hoping the spell would muffle his sister's potential coming cry for the time being. "Besides you don't have the foggiest on my personality traits and the why behind them either. And, I can't imagine you could have a reason to figure that one out. So, we're even on that front."

۩۞۩ ωнσ ۩۞۩ : Each other wearing Clothes۩۞۩ ωнєи ۩۞۩ : Summer ۩۞۩ ωнєяє ۩۞۩ :British Museum ╚═════════════════════╝ Sapphire's face dropped when Leah started reaching towards her. That was the most adorable thing she had seen in a very long time. Celaena used to do that... And so did Christy before she was killed. "Dammit Sapphire. Stop thinking about them and you will do just fine." She thought angrily but smiled at the little girl. "Don't worry sweet baby Leah. I'll see you again sometime." She said taking on of the baby's soft hands her her own and playing with her finger gently.
Sata listened quietly. "That's an interesting way to put it." He said thoughtfully. He was taking most of this to heart if only because he wanted to mull it over in his head a couple of times. Ryan went over to his mother and said something quietly about having to go to the bathroom. Denise looked to Sapphire and sighed. "Je prends les garçons à la salle de bain . Ne pas faire de bêtises " She said to the blonde. Then realized that she had slipped into her home language and smiled politely. "Sorry, I said i'm taking the boys to the restroom."
"Wait for me Aunt Dee. It was nice to meet you Mrs. Avery, David, Leah." He said before heading with his aunt and twin cousins to the restroom. Leaving Sapphire by herself. "Warning me not to do anything stupid wasn't good enough to say Aunt Dee?" She thought. She sighed. "How about that sense of you are always right?! That tends to be something that people get into arguments with their children about. You always have to be right. Always have to be the best. You are obvious to anyone other than yourself. And yes I know that that is just preaching to the choir but Dangit David..." She was trying not to yell and scare the baby. She was also angry but for other reasons.
"And you have no idea why I despise my sister either. Yes I'm protective over her. I can't help myself. She's a freaking blonde that likes to giggle and have fun. She's also shy and has a fear of public places. She can't help that she had someone talk to her at the end of the year feast. I can't believe it happened while she was in second year! She shouldn't have those kinds of feelings... Not until third at least! That's when I.." She stopped with a clamping of her teeth together so she wouldn't finish. "I think my brother will probably just use the information he learned to prank myself or my younger sister." She said quietly.
Looking back to him when he said that slytherin's didn't have emotions she actually teared up. "Not all Slytherin's are that way. There are several who do have feelings and are okay with them showing. I don't want people to know because a sweet side makes people think they can approach someone." She growled. A tear rolled down her cheek and Sapphire let go of the baby's hand. She smiled at the baby one more time before looking at the Ravenclaw. "You shouldn't be so sure. You forget that I've already said you are an open book. I know almost every way that you move. Just as I could identify Leo, Theo, Shayna, Celaena, Raph, and countless others in our class just from seeing them walk. I know more about your ticks then you even know." She said giving her own tsk.
((Wow that felt like a lot....))

x Jane Cathaline Avery xx/xxx David Sinclair League x/x Leah Ruby League xxxxx /xxxxxxx Avery Matriarch xxxxxxxx/ Conditional Avery Heir /xxxxxxxx Future Hogwarts Student xxxxxxxx Former Slytherin xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Ravenclaw xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Unsortedxxx/ Time: Summer 2026-2027 Location: The British Museum Wearing: ClothesDavid raised a brow when Sapphire said she would see Leah again and David said a bit perplexed, “We met here by chance… I don’t see why you’d run into her again.” He glanced down at Leah who since she was still getting attention from Sapphire was more than content. The sheer amount of how much attention Leah wanted made David wonder just how the girl would be when she was older-probably an absolute terror by many people’s definitions. Meanwhile, Jane Avery shrugged, straightening as Sata mulled over her words about genetics and then she glanced to Denise who spoke up to Sapphire in French and then apologized for using her native language. “Il est très bien. Je comprends assez bien le français,” The elder woman replied with a shrug and David glanced over at his grandmother in absolute shock. It was the first time he actually heard of her ever speaking anything but English-it was the first time David had even seen any mention his grandmother knew anything but English. She glanced over at David and answered with a shrug , “One of your aunts is French after all. Where do you think your sister picked up an ease with language?”“Dad?” David said. Jane chuckled shaking her head and looked back at Denise and merely nodded as Sata ran off following his aunt. She stepped down the exhibit hall some, obviously not planning to leave but not lingering to obviously overhear the rest o the conversation Sapphire and David had. It amused the woman that David obviously got along with Sapphire because, though he was argumentative with the blonde Slytherin, if he actually hated her he wouldn’t have let the girl near Leah, let alone hold the child, and he especially wouldn’t have so obviously admitted his greatest fallacy-David Sinclair League was actually quite decent in magic, though like his mother charms tended to be more his forte, and he could do almost any spell asked of him to learn, but actually performing some spells-like hexes-in their intended realm, such as against someone or dueling he couldn’t. It was amusing to Jane that despite everything David was a horrific pacifist and couldn’t actually harm anything. It was just like his father but worse because at least Dr. Sinclair League had the excuse of being incapable of doing magic. David could do the spells he was just what Jane would define as weak. It was probably good for the image of the Averys though: what better way to further eliminate negative rumors about family leanings than to name the son of a squib and a woman who ran an office that dealt in many ways with muggle affairs, who quite obviously didn’t have a huge preference for family wealth, wanted to do some humanistic mundane task like healing, and despite all his argumentative traits-was as Sapphire pointed out soon enough-her grandson was very much an open book. Whether it was that he didn’t have the sense to care about the fact, didn’t have the decent ability to hide what he thought or felt well, or just didn’t care was hard to say, but it was obvious enough he was an open book, just like his squib of a father. Brilliant but careless when it came to dealing with people and remaining properly on guard. Then again, didn’t that put people more at ease in the end? Even if you were horrifically rude or obnoxious to someone there was no mystery and people were more likely to show their true feelings. Which, Sapphire no doubt did but David was too oblivious to see if you asked Jane. There was always time, of course. Who knew with him? Maybe the boy was a better Ravenclaw than he thought. He wasn’t particularly good at being truly cunning in a manipulative fashion. David glanced at his grandmother who was looking at a painting now halfway down the hall, still thrown off by the woman’s admission to actually being decent at languages and apparently knowing French and couldn’t help but wonder if his uncle Peter or his wife Noémie ever figured that one out. David figured no. The two didn’t seem to care if they annoyed the rest of the family but considering the raised brow Cathy had when the French aunt of theirs had said something in French and the lively discussion in French that followed he was pretty sure Peter and Noémie Avery didn’t know that about Jane Avery. Listening to Sapphire go off on him David raised a brow at her and said, “I never said I thought I was always right or claimed to be. It would be stupid to do so. I’m only always right about the concrete things I chose to care about and do a very, very good job of putting in the work to make sure I’m always right about things such as school work, memorization, spell work, that sort of thing. And, you say all that about how I have to be, but you’re right I do: I care too much about making up for my shortcomings, which I am sure if you asked my lovely grandmother or anyone else in my extended family about they would be more than happy to tell you.”He took a deep breath as he glanced back at Leah who’s big eyes were glancing between the two and with a long breath he ruffled the few pale, pale blonde strands on the child’s head as Sapphire went on about her siblings. “Yeah, well, my sister went to Queen's College Prep School –which is all girls-imagine how I felt when I had during her first day at Hogwarts get to be told how cute my sister is according to some idiot in my house. Partially why I snapped and one girl end up crying. Not my problem.” He glanced back at Sapphire and considered her trialing off, “So, you started what being attracted to people in general in third year. That’s normal enough. I think it is only Ravenclaws in our year really who started dating or considering dating during our second year.” David thought back to the fact that rumors started about him and Leo at all during their second year and somewhere in their third year Echo and Kas end up hooking up and snogging everywhere in Ravenclaw-and now his sister was doing the same with some Slytherin that David was sure would get Salazar to roll in his grave. Though, now that David considered it he was fairly sure Echo and Kas was fairly a brief thing-they just got a lot of snogging done in the common room when they were hooking up. His thoughts were interrupted when he noticed Sapphire actually look hurt at his words about Slytherins and the fact about her wanting to be hated. She had acted odd when he pointed that out the year before but now he was fairly sure she actually had tears in her eyes and David’s sighed more annoyed at himself than anyone as Sapphire said he was an open book and knew more about his ticks than he even knew. “Good you can be a detective,” David snapped. “And since you know so much about me I can only assume you do just try to piss me off with the nonsense you spout half the time. Don’t…” He paused and then said, adjusting Leah in his arms, “Look, whatever I’m sorry, I guess. I don’t really care what you feel-or pretty much anyone else does-or at least I don’t care enough to poke around in something that is not my concern. Then again, I’m fairly sure my sister is right on this one: actively seeking out being hated is just counterproductive to anything. Of course for years she’s been lecturing me on how to treat people and you see how far that’s gone for her. And, Cathy is fairly hypocritical. Maybe she inherited that besides just apparently language skills from my grandmother.”

"There is always a way when there is a child involved." She said chuckling slightly. At his Grandmother's leaving them space she got an earful. She wiped the tears from her eyes. "Actually you pompous Ravenclaw, I started to like you." She growled. "Our arguments in class were fun, how much you annoyed me, thrilled me. So captain Obvious..." She said trailing off again. She couldn't believe she had said that even if her hands were clenched and she was slightly irritated. She was flustered and it wasn't like she didn't have any control over her magic. She could keep herself in check. That's what finishing school had done.
"Well good for Cathy! At least she has a good head on her shoulders. And your sister is absolutely right, wanting to be hated is counterproductive. But that's the only way I see forgiving myself for not knowing the three siblings who were killed. The youngest was only two years old! I had barely held her once! And they were gone! I won't forgive myself, for not knowing the three of them. For not giving myself the chance to know them. That is why. And if you don't mind, I rather feel like crying." She said turning to follow after where her aunt had gone, but turned instead to head outside. She hadn't said goodbye properly to the Avery head and should have probably done so.
((xD It's okay. I like to read. Figured I'd have Sapphire blow up really quickly before Leo ends up at the Museum and she accidentally gets hexed or something... Don't want to have to bring Sapphire's aunt Anja to the seen for that one.... And she's just sitting on the steps outside to cool down. She has to wait on her brother and everyone anyway xD))

Location: Mitchell House -> British Museum Leonette went straight to the museum after splitting up with Mira. She needed to find Grace that was all that mattered. If something happened to her little sister she wouldn't know what to do with herself. Nothing could replace her and nothing would remove the guilt she'd feel if Grace got hurt or worse. Shaking her head at the thought Leonette reminded herself she needed to stay calm. Arriving at the museum after a short while, Leonette ran up the steps. Entering fifth year searched frantically for her little sister. Chances were she probably passed Sapphire along the way hadn't notice because of how focused she was on finding Grace. Speed walking through the museum Leonette tried to look like she wasn't having a panic attack although that certainly seemed like the case. 'Where is she...?' Leonette thought as she scouring the building looking for Grace. If she wasn't there she just prayed that she was at the library and that Mira found her. 'I do hope Mira doesn't start something with her if she does happen to find her...' she continued to think. That was the last thing she needed. If her cousin Chloe were there right now Leonette may not have been worried as much as she was. Then again her sister going off on her own was a stretch for her and one she wasn't used to one bit. Status: Worried, Panicking! Apparently overly oblivious... With: No one Wearing: Red and Black OOC: Just so you both no I wasn't intending to interrupt you guys so I hope it doesn't feel that way. Gwen the Finch Gryfindor you say? Yes, I could see you doing well there... So be it! Gryffindor!

x Jane Cathaline Avery xx/xxx David Sinclair League x/x Leah Ruby League xxxxx /xxxxxxx Avery Matriarch xxxxxxxx/ Conditional Avery Heir /xxxxxxxx Future Hogwarts Student xxxxxxxx Former Slytherin xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Ravenclaw xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ Unsortedxxx/ Time: Summer 2026-2027 Location: The British Museum Wearing: Clothes “What are you going to take up babysitting, now?” David asked wryly before he paused and raised a brow when Sapphire wiped her eyes and snapped at him calling him pompous and identifying him by his house, which he supposed was to be an insult considering Sapphire was a Slytherin-wasn’t that supposed to be the best house? But it was the second statement that caught him off guard when she said she started to like him. He was trying to figure the exact meaning of the words, because for example he was sure Mira liked him, but that was probably because he was dating Leo and was exactly like Mira and so thus if she had to ‘put up’ with her sister it would be easier through her boyfriend who just happened to share similar personality traits. But as Sapphire went on and trailed off clenching her hands and showing irritation David just stared as if he was solving some complex math problem but his frown lessened to horror as Sapphire snapped at him about Cathy and that she at least had a good head on her shoulders and then started explaining her reasoning for it and David let out a short curse and muttered under his breath, “The Fall ‘Festival’.”Realizing his curse he glanced down at Leah and hoped quickly that she was too young to pick that up as her first words and then he glanced back at Sapphire his eyes still wide as Sapphire went on about the whole thing-David had gotten off fairly easy, he had seen some of the damage but no one killed right in front of him. All he had dealt with was his mother getting injured and her name in the papers thanks to her position and especially ranking in the ministry. However, in a weird sort of way, his father and mother somehow forgot the whole argument about whether it was so horrible to be a squib or not-which his father always sided on yes, yes it was and it was infinitely worse than being a muggle because you were supposed to be born with magic and was thus defective at birth if you were a squib. It was his mother who didn’t see squibs as any different than muggles, if anything better because they knew about magic and all that and could benefit from the wizarding world if they needed to, but could also seamlessly blend into the muggle world as her husband had chosen to do. When Sapphire dismissed herself with a “if you don’t mind, I rather feel like crying” David snapped, “Well good, it means you're human. Maybe if you actually showed that side once in a while your siblings who are still alive actually would like yo-” He stopped mid word realizing what he had just said-and while it was probably true and it was probably one of the worst ways he could have thought-or not thought-to word the whole thing. As she headed out of the exhibit and towards the exit he raised a brow at one of the nearby patrons who was glaring at him and David said, “Oh bloody…” He glared at the man who muttered something about teenagers being obnoxious and rude and David said to his grandmother, shoving his sister to the woman-after all it wasn’t like she’d hurt her own grandchildren, well not one magically and considered pureblood at least- “I’ve got to go… I’ll be back in a minute.”David was in such a rush to leave and try to remove the foot from his mouth he didn’t noticed as he headed for the exit not noticing that he passed a fairly panicked Leonette Mitchell. David wasn’t exactly a people person and according to Cathy he might as well act as if he learned his people skills from a hermit in Tibet with anger management issues, but he could realize when he was completely out of line for what he had said. He noticed Sapphire on the step and dropped his bag on the steps beside where she sat, “Always a classy touch to make a public spectacle of yourself in front of one of the most famous museums in the world. Look… I didn’t exactly mean what I said about yours siblings hating… well, actually it might be true. Hell if I know. Like I said I’m not the type to get involved in that. And, it really isn’t any of my business, but I know as a big brother I would have a harder time not forgiving myself for getting to know five or six or how many you have-had-total of siblings than only three. It wasn’t like you were the one who killed them. And you sure as Hell aren’t the only one who lost someone important there or had lasting damage done there to themselves or someone close to them.”He sighed and said, “Anyways, I can go, don’t want my grandmother to start telling nursery rhymes about the Chamber of Secrets or the great and noble Salazar Slytherin who valiantly worked to protect wizard kind and raise them higher and how his last great descendent went on to carry such noble ideals…” He picked up his bag and paused for a minute and took a step up again towards the museum and paused glancing down where Sapphire sat as he realized what he said wasn’t exactly comforting or much of an apology and it wasn’t his place to judge anyone for choosing not to be liked-after all he didn’t actually aim to be a likable person. He made a sigh as he looked back at the museum and massaged his forehead annoyed-so much for a quiet day out beyond the expected snide comments from his grandmother. Sorry, ‘lovely grandmother’ as Sapphire referred to the woman. What was she trying to do anyways at that point, win some kind of extra liking by the woman-just saying ‘I’m a Slytherin’ helped her case if that was her concern. < >

۩۞۩ ωнσ ۩۞۩ : Each other wearing Clothes۩۞۩ ωнєи ۩۞۩ : Summer ۩۞۩ ωнєяє ۩۞۩ :British Museum ╚═════════════════════╝ Sitting on the steps to the Museum, Sapphire was trying her absolute damndest to stop crying and to suck it up. But his words about showing her human/sweet side would make her siblings like her kept repeating themselves. She was trying to do that. Trying to seem more approachable by her siblings and get to know them better. It was taking some time but she was certainly trying. She had her knees pressed to her chest and her face was hidden between them as she waited for her aunt and the three boys to come out so she could go home and just stay in her room for the summer. But when the door opened she stood not realizing who it was until she heard his voice and his first words were sarcastic. Why did she have a crush on him again? Oh right. "My problem is that I didn't let myself get to know them... Before... Before they were gone. Christy I had taken a liking too but I was too self-centered... That's why. And I'm trying to change in a way that doesn't seem like i'm pushing myself in a different direction. That's why I'm here with my brother. I missed his birthday and he wanted to see the museum." She said quietly through the tears.
Sapphire wiped them away on a handkerchief from her pocket and looked at him. "There were six siblings in total. My parents sent me away shortly after Celaena was born because they had raised me rather spoiled and when I returned there were five more. The youngest was Christy, and she was only a few months old when I returned." She said quietly. She stepped onto flat area in front of the door, just a few feet from the actual doorway, and leaned against the wall. "If you were looking to apologize, then go ahead and go. You are forgiven." She said before sliding back down onto the floor and tried to his her face as she started to cry again, even if she hadn't entirely stopped. Once the tears had started, she was having a really hard time stopping them. If she were to be honest with herself, she wanted a hug. But she wasn't going to tackle David, and certainly wasn't going to let the other Snow family Members see her crying out in the entrance way of the Museum.
((Don't worry Murrue! I just didn't want Sapphire to notice too irresponsibly and blow something up! haha mc I don't see her trying to hex him in her state, she might accidentally hex herself xD))
