Hekate and Devith - Burn Post
The score on his chest and side stung where the riding straps chafed against it causing Devith to pull up a bit sharp. They were low on firestone. Very low as Hekate scanned for one of the refill rider's to signal for new bags. However thread knew no rest as a clump fell towards them before the much needed firestone could be dropped. Lifting his head Devith flamed at the deadly silver menace, but his fire was short only catching the edge of the clump.

F'itz & Brumath Agility: 2 HP: 60/60 --------- Brumath replied to Tyeth, flaming again at the thick knots of Thread around him. As he took down one tangle however another tumbled through the air towards him, caught by the wind or by the gust of another dragon's wings it moved unpredictably and faster than he had expected. The silver tendrils struck his flank and started to eat though, sending the brown between with a cut off cry of pain. --------- Thread remaining: 25

Dizzian and Courath // Burn Post
A mental brush acknowledged Neptanth's warning. Courath knew she'd need to drop out soon. It wasn't what she wanted to do, but for the sake of her and Dizzian it was required. Bravery and Will were not enough when the body was done. As their bags were empty, Courath decided they would leave after she expelled the last of her fire.
Dizzian stroked Courath's neck. While she wasn't as physically tired, she was quite ready to go home, get Courath to the healers, get a drink and hide for the rest of the day.
~ We go after this patch.~ Courath directed at Plexith and the rest of the Gale Stalkers wing. She was spent.

Dizzian and Courath // Damage Post
Courath squeeked as a single strand grazed her muzzle, another slipping underneath her neck to catch into her chest. She blinked between, taking them back to the Weyr as planned instead of reappearing in formation. ~ We Go! ~
Courath appeared low in the sky above the Weyr, allowing herself only a couple circles before she dropped down and drooped with exhaustion.

Hekate of Silver Devith -injury post
Mine look out! Devith bellowed even as he back winged as fast as he could trying to spare his rider the thread. However with his injuries he was too slow and turning in surprise a hiss of pain and shock ripped through Hekate as the deadly menace bit into her lower leg before Devith dropped between.
The pain Devith had felt was so sharp, but now Hekate couldn't tell where her injuries ended and her dragon's began as the two came from between gasping as the wind snatched whatever foul curses Hekate would spit at their misfortune.
Mine~ Devith crooned low and concerned in his rider's mind his eyes bright yellow and gray with worry and pain. A look of gentleness and fear on the silver's face that rarely was shown to any, but his rider.
I-I'll be ok. Firestone. We need more. Hekate thought through her tears as the two positioned themselves for the drop as she grabbed and secured the new bags.

S'kiro/Neptanth- Burn HP: 42/47 Agility: 0
They leave after this little bit. Neptanth was happy for the green and Hers. They were bringing His out of his shell, as much as one can with a Rider like S'kiro. Good. Let's finish this out. S'kiro was ready to get back in and take care of the score on the dragons flank, which would include seeing how Courath and Dizzian were doing.

C'rci and Bolth - Burn Post
Just get what you can heart. C'rci assured her dragon as she patted his big steely neck. Reluctant to go after any larger clumps the blue only managed to char a few stray strands of thread that others had missed.

S'kiro/Neptanth- Damage HP: 41/47 Agility: 0
As the large blue flamed, they missed one coming towards them. It hit him and they blinked out for a second. You okay, big guy? S'kiro couldn't see where it had hit, but he could feel the extra pain going along Nepthanth. Minor. Barely touched my tail.

Hekate and Devith- Burn post
At least this swoop left more thread burned then hide taken by the menace as Devith dropped low flaming a small clump. Other then a few stray strands it seemed like the fall or at least this wave was almost over.

----------
Apparently recovering from his brush with the Thread rather well Brumath crunched down on fresh firestone and swooped back into position to burn down a thick clump of Thread.... And the skies were clear. For now.
Breathing hard F'itz took advantage of the respite, temporary or otherwise, to stroke his dragon's neck.

N'mol and Bronze Tyeth - Dawn Fliers Wingleader HP: 76 Dmg Mod: -3 Thread Burned: -+5= - (Wingleader Bonus) Scored: No Current Thread - 0/250
As riders began appearing admidst the wing to administer firestone changes, N'mol kept an eye on them as well as on the Thread falling ahead of his wing.
Tyeth, switch out the next group of Greens and Blues. One back, Two out.
Group One, return to the air. Be sure you have picked up new firestone before you return. Group Two may return to Trine once Group One settles back into their places in the wing.
The Fall suddenly petered out around N'mol and Tyeth, though the Bronze stayed alert and aware.
The wave is done. Dawn Fliers stay alert for the next wave.

Kleos sat up somewhat in the straps, squinting to peer into the distance even though she was actually looking through Moriath's eyes.
Moriath agreed. <Sound off Dauntless wing! Let the Hold know of our triumph!> the crimson cried to her fellows, bugling aloud as she spoke. Another Fall well flown, and no major injuries in her wing.
Kleos said, her mental voice glowing with pride in her bondmate. As the crimson addressed the wing and then the other wingleaders to let them know what she was doing the scarred woman smiled and unfastened the neck of her riding jacket. Clear skies, and her dragon and her wingmates whole. What more could and rider ask?
