Romantic Man-Lover

While he straightened out some of his wares, shining a few of his presented blades, and adjusted some of the furs, his eyes slid over to the scribe that was further down the way on the other side of the market. A congregation seemed to be forming around the man, naturally causing curiosity to brew in Vaska's mind. He'd heard about the 'drafting' that was going on, the assigning. But he still had no idea of which kingdom he should shadow. They were all so vastly different from one another, and... well he wasn't sure what sort would truly need someone with his abilities. So far the Red kingdom seemed to most sensible for him. They already had ties with the Silver kingdom, what with the trading that commonly went down. His bone wings bent slightly again, stretching subtly, finding himself falling back into a deep session of mulling once more.

So much to think about... so much to consider..

Than almost reverently put down his writing utensil, taking a couple of steps back from the scribe in order to survey his surroundings once more. Sharp ears caught the sound of a voice, one laden with absolute self-assurance...a trait that the slight youth rather envied. Swiveling towards the voice, his eyes landed on Concetta, and he grinned, noticing the woman making her way towards the Scribe's place. "Are yous choosing where to be going and which to be doing?" He inquired curiously, paddering towards her, having, for once, not to look up in order to meet her eyes. It was a refreshing change. "Where is thee to be thinking you would be a'liking?" His odd speech patterns were almost sing-song, violet eyes friendly and inquisitive.

Something about today seemed fresh and new, and with so many people in the hallways, Than desired to speak to aaaaaaaaaaaall of them and ask about their doings, and the Kingdoms about them. Someday, the young man dreamed that he would speak to the Voice, and finally be able to ask it all of his questions.

Until then he'd settle for pestering Concetta.

The clanging and yelling of the noisy man startled the blue haired girl, taking her attention from looking for appropriate sashes to looking into the main pathway. He was loud, and from the sound of it, was probably the same man that she had heard earlier - and then brought her attention to the couple.

And he was littering, how distasteful. Making a mess like that. At least people were around to pick it up... as well as her current customer.

"Comment?" She asked the white haired man, taking the offered card from his hand. Olivia looked it over, it was a simple card. Black and with a symbol and numbers, she noticed when she flipped it over, on one side. A location? A secret code? Curious indeed. Hm, that mark... this was perhaps something to pocket for later, she could probably think of a good place to put it for safe keeping.

"Others are saying she's not well, while others are saying she's locked herself with the ghost of the previous King," she replied. It wasn't really an opinion, but when did Olivia have many of her own? "Rumors always have a little bit of truth to them, from what I hear."

"But we still seem to be doing okay, even in her odd absence." Market Day should have been evident enough, right? Things were still peaceful and calm. No hostel take overs or power struggles would happen, right?

Okay by me xD

Rex hissed, his head turning with a snap to glare at whatever or whoever had bumped into him. There may or may not have been teeth bared as well. There was a moment that Rex's only answer was to stare, as if debating what he should do or whether or not the individual now standing in front of him was edible.

Finally he shrugged, his expression softening as if deciding there had been no harm.

"Watch where going, could get hurt that way."

Letting out a rather high pitched whine, Keel looked at the person he bumped into. The looking only resulted in her letting out another whine before trying to get up from the ground. A pout was visible on his face as he inclined her head in a form of apology.

“I’m sorry for bumping into you!” She squeaked out. However, moments after the apology, Keel just had to point out the obvious. “My, what big, sharp teeth you!”

O A O!

He raised a brow at the word, shaking his head. He had little to say of it. It was numbers, but seemingly no true meaning. As far as he knew, it just furthered the depths of proof that the man was as far gone as people claimed. And further proof should have silenced that annoying nagging in his head. Sadly it hadn't, so he was forced to blanket it under a calm face as he stood flipping the card in his hand several times.

"No, I know nothing of it... yourself?" An odd symbol, a number he'd never heard of. He wished to know, certainly he was quite curious even if it would end up being the ravings of a lunatic, but he also understood he'd likely get no answers on it. Perhaps best to drop it entirely for the time being and ponder it again later.

He briefly offered her a look as she spoke up to reply, giving the examination of the card a rest. Her replies were as empty as the rumors, holding little more than what anyone could hear while walking around. Perhaps that was for the best though, seeing as it meant there were no further facts. Truly, what did he expect asking someone random their thoughts on the matter? "That is... true." He replied starring off into the crowds a moment in thought, then perhaps letting curiosity get the better of him.

"The man with the cards, he claimed we would suffer should he not speak to the King..." Now he would end up seeming mad, believing someone like that. Or even just taking heed of what they might say. Still, it might have been nice to have another opinion. "Now this." A brief gesture to the odd card before he shook his head again. "I suppose it's still empty nonsense, but it leaves on unsettled?" He added that with a sigh, watching the place the trash king had gone to again for a few seconds before studying the girl, waiting for a reaction.

chirigami
I apologize, it was uncalled for. I'll try to do better.

Zoobey
Not sure if we should quote. Molan picked up two cards and gave one to Olivia as the Trash King clattered by.

Rex grinned at what he took as a compliment, teeth showing that much more as the eerie grin broadened. He took great pride in those teeth of his, they were what let him eat whatever he wanted, and bite what he couldn't eat.

"Should be, I bite."

He may have been still debating if that card he'd picked up was edible.

Sigrún had set out to check all the food vendors first but the shiny glinting of metal work distracted her. Her long auburn braid whipped around as she changed direction and headed to the stall. She desperately needed a new hunting knife, the one she used had been passed down for ...longer than she could remember and needed to be retired to heirloom status.

Stepping up the the stall Sigrún quickly scanned everything before remembering her manners and greeted the vendor.
"Greeting sir" giving a curt nod of her head she slowed herself down and started to look the items over one by one.

“Ohhh!” Keel’s eyes twinkled in childlike excitement before grinning at the other, “We both have sharp teeth for biting!”

O 7 O

The existence of the card within Keel’s pocket had already been forgotten since his attention is now on this stranger. SHARP TEETH BUDDIES?

Alastair saw what was coming when Harland reached for his hand. He repressed the instinctive reflex to tear his hand away, giving his "friend" the opportunity to kiss his knuckles. The tailor rolled his eyes with a subtle scoff, as if to make it clear he thought this gesture was ridiculous... perhaps, even embarrassing.

A final stitch in the shirt sealed the hole and the garment was repaired. He set his work aside to stand and wait patiently as Harland recited introductions despite the fact that they'd already been introduced. Alastair's blue eyes flicked over Crispin's form with a neutral expression, as if analyzing his potential value as an ally or foe.

Finally, when Harland's script was completed, a new expression curled across the tailor's face. It was a smile that appeared genuine, all of the narrow features that would suggest harmful intentions were softened until they were no longer visible. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Crispin." He offered a handshake to supplement his unusually cordial behavior. "Alastair's the name, but feel free to call me Alas, Kitty, Mr. Huxley, Chief of Destruction, Overlord of Annihilation, Master of Carnage..." He causally listed off his collection of nicknames and absurd titles with a serious expression. "Foolish mortals, kneel before me or feel my wrath... et cetera, et cetera." Alastair spoke with a significant lack of enthusiasm as he ended his charade and returned his attention to Harland.

Alastair looked surprised with Harland's explanation. "Ahh. Couldn't stay away despite yourself? Like a moth to a flame." He swept a stray lock of gold hair from his face to give Harland a seductive glance... quickly followed by a dark chuckle. "Understandable. Let's not waste anymore time." Alastair folded his merchandise as he prepared to leave his booth.

He blinked when he was offered a card. He took it in one hand and flipped it over once or twice as if expecting to see something of value. "For me? How thoughtful." With the sarcastic comment he tucked it away and never gave it a second thought.

Zoobey
Alastair acquired a card.

"Well I don't know." Despite her ever present desire to be cruel, Concetta was equally capable of acting kind. Manipulation was her game and while she had not yet become master of it, she took her opportunities where she could. What could this young man offer her? Only The Voice knew, but she'd never count her chickens before they hatched. "This 'neon Vega' seems promising. Money and power are desirable things."

The dark haired woman tossed her hair slightly as she canted her head, straight locks falling down her bare and tanned shoulders. She was petite but curvy, prone to rolling her hips when she walked and her posture naturally thrusting out her bust. Her long lashes batted in a natural way at the other. "My name's Cee.." She held her hand out delicately to him. "Who're you?"

"Yes."

His words ended in a sharp biting laughter, an eerie laugh that sounded somewhere between a hiss and a bark. Oh yes, he liked this person, he (she?) was fun.

"Hungry?"

Go find food now yes, YES?! FOOD AND BITING! THESE THINGS ARE VERY IMPORTANT!

[Entering]

Adiyan just loved market day as he always liked to sell what he had made from the other days, but today he wasn't selling his wears, but to find the raw components that he need to make his jewelry for the stones that he would find or dig for when mining.

Also know that he needed to choose a kingdom to shadow was weighing heavy on his mind since he liked to learn new things but he just didn't like dealing with new places since he wouldn't know exits if they were ever needed. But Adiyan wanted to serve his king and knew that he must do. Quietly growling to himself as he battled with himself to what kingdom would be the best for him to go to and it was just frustrating. But Adiyan walked on towards the pedestal hoping that once he had gotten there he would have made up his mind.

Anyone is free to interact with Adiyan, but I wont be back on until tomorrow morning, just as a heads up.

Keel nodded before taking a hold of the other’s arm, and started leading them over towards the push and pull of the crowd again.

“Let’s get some meat!” He suggested, “By the way, my name is Killian! But you can call me Keel! What’s your name?”

A head tilt, a small tug on the arm, and an extremely friendly smile. Yep, that’s Keel. And dear Jack is she happy to have someone to hang out with. THEY ARE GOING TO BE SUCH GOOD BUDDIES MAN, ALL SHARP TEETH AND BITING.

"Kill?"

His head titled curiously, first one way then the other. Whether he did not quite fully understand the other's name, or whether he simply had trouble pronouncing it, it seemed he had decided to call his new found friend 'Kill'.

"Good name, I like."

Rex wasn't sure he liked being dragged through the crowd, even if it was by a friend with SHARP POINTY TEETH. But being that he -was- hungry (of course he was hungry, he was breathing), it was only a brief moment of hesitation before he relaxed and followed after.

"My name...is Rex."

No need to give his full name, Rex was all he ever answered to.
