Kronos growled when Apolla reappeared and spun round. She kicked out with her hind feet to splash mud on the Ninetales.

Apolla was prepared this time and moved out of the way before the mud could fly. She shifted herself so she was clearly looking at the Poochyena. Her tails fanned out and her eyes flashed as she used Disable to keep the dog pokemon from using that last attack

Kronos spat and tried again. This time, she dug at the wet sad with her forepaws.

Apolla was on the move and thus when Kronos used Dig she was already out of harms way. She circled around, avoiding the water, and sighted in on Kronos. She then unleashed a wave of flames at the dog.

Kronos yelp and was forced back from the blow. As soon as she released herself from the flames, she ran after Apolla again, intent on dirtying her coat.

Apolla again moved before Kronos' attack could hit her. Her eyes narrowed as she figured out that the Poochyena was purposely trying to get her coat dirty. Her mouth opened wide and more flames shot out.

This time Kronos managed to get some dirt on Apolla's beloved coat. The Ninetails hissed and growled at Kronos letting her anger be known. She then sent more flames at Kronos making them hotter than usual.

Apolla was not happy at being his with more dirt. So much dirt that it sent her to the ground. She stood up seething in anger. Her tails fanned out and her eyes glowed once more. Only this time her tails seemed to be swaying as if to help confuse her opponent.

Apolla easily dodged Kronos as she stumbled around. She then took aim on the confused pooch. Fire erupted from her mouth heading straight for Kronos.

Kronos hobbled from side to side, her eyes glazed and focusing on some nonexistent object in the distance. She could feel a burning sensation, but was unsure where it came from.

Apolla backed away from Kronos and watched as the dog pokemon hobbled all over. When she noticed that Kronos was coming to her senses she struck again. She got right in Kronos' line of sight and spread her tails. Her eyes began to glow as her tails began to sway to help confuse her opponent.
