((This post is also posted at A Mysterious Hideout)) Strike followed after Cian, standing in front of the door. He was silent, a simmering anger in his chest. This was it. The fools had not expected Strike to have found out the location. So full of themselves, they hadn't even protected the cottage from being seen, from being attacked. They thought Strike dull, perhaps thought he would run instead of finding his fledglings. Every part of him screamed to show them wrong.
With a cry of rage, he kicked down the door, flying in like a hawk. He wanted to taste the blood of his enemy. Baring his fangs, he entered the darkness, without hesitation, with nothing but hatred and malice in his mind.
Something 'twanged' in his ears. And, as soon as he had heard it, it dawned on him. He had been a fool, to run in like that. They were expecting him to. To just run in, thinking last and acting first, as he was always known to do. His elders had always warned him, but, this day, he learned that it was his fault for not listening.
Strike didn't have time to move out of the way as an arrow pierced him in the heart. He gasped as he started to fall backwards, "No, not like this!" he screamed, feeling himself fall to the ground.
The final death.◙■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■◙ Currently...What I'm thinking: I want Jack What I'm doing: Walking into a trap. Who I'm with: Jason and Cian Where I am: Barnsley

▂▃▅▆█ Jason Hill █▆▅▃▂ Owner of Dogweed and Deathcaps Alpha, Aconite Pack Jason entered second, but heard the twang seconds before the bolt hit Strike. Catching the vampire falling, he growled low, immediately trying to pull out a potion he had in his pack. Pulling out the arrow, he took a bottle out and sprinkled some dittany into the wound, then pulled the vampire further from the line of fire. Standing, he glared around the room, using his sense of smell to try and see if he could pick out the scent of Remy. Or Arachnid. He'd smelled both before, and now he was going to see if this trip had been futile or not. -------------------------------------- Location: Mysterious Hideout State: Simmering OOC: Maybe it'll work? --------------------------------------

Cian, pressed against the wall flinched when an arrow imbedded itself into Strike's heart. His eyes widened in shock and he fell down next to Jason before it dawned on him nothing was happening. They were in the open, and no one was shooting at them like they had with strike. Cian stood up, put two feet inside the old abandoned cottage, and performed a spell that would tell them if anyone was there with them. There wasn't. They were alone. There was one arrow, one damn arrow here and that was it. He cursed and kicked the wall. "I'll be right back," he said angrily before disapparating. He was going to interrogate the woman himself.

ℋeather ℋawthorn❀ℱourth ϒear❀ℋufflepuff ℬeater❀ ℋalf~ℬlood❀Heather and DhylanSehza ℋeather heard the centaur's words and couldn't help herself but to burst out laughing. Laughter. Possibly the only thing that could keep her sane. Every chance she had to experience it, she had to take it. "I like you already, Centaur. Please, have at their faces. Go all out." she said through her chuckles and giggles. Her fun ended when she heard the word 'dead'. This Strike, whoever he was, was dead? Why death? Why not bring him here, to the prison they kept her and the others in? She was confused, but when the man turned to face them, she became even more confused. Heal? What was he talking about? Magic soup, possibly? Her wrists and ankles began to feel weird, but they didn't hurt anymore. "What did you feed us?" she asked. But she would get no answer, for the man had already returned to the darkness, his location unknown to her. She sighed, then heard her sister thrashing around, pulling at her chains and screaming. Heather's eye twitched in anger, and something inside her snapped. "Remy! Bloody hell, just shut up! Don't you get it?! No one is coming for us! No one even knows where we're at! If I could move at all, I would shut you up myself! So take a chill pill and calm down already!" she shouted. She had never screamed at her sister that way, but at this point, she had fallen off the edge of sanity. They were trapped, dead where they sat. The sooner Remy figured this out, the better.

♫ Feeling: Terrified. ♫ Company: A man, Mr. Terran, Remy, and Heather. ♫ What I'm thinking: Calm down. ♫ What am I doing; Waiting. ♫ Dating: Samuel Meridith. Caitlin made a face when the man said he hoped their wounds healed nicely. She looked at her wrists, they were healing. Then Remy was thrashing around again. "Calm the hell down, Remy! Your hurting yourself more!" She yelled, she was getting fed up with this. Caitlin had a thought and turned her head to the side Remy was on. "Remy, did you even tell Jason what happened last year?" She asked, having nothing better to talk about. Maybe she'd calm Remy down some.

 ❋ Sagittarius ❋ Centaur _________ ___________________ ____________________________
Sagittarius couldn't help but laugh at one of the girl's comments. The shackles were chaffing away at her skin, the result from all that tugging. But the teen didn't really have much of a moment to enjoy herself, since the screaming and sound of chains clinging soon returned. She was starting to get a headache from all of this.
"Blondie," Sagi called out to Heather. "Firstly, I apologize for not knowing your name." A rare sign of respect for a girl? Sagittarius rarely ever apologized to anyone. "Secondly, you should calm down as well." The words she yelled were not exactly comforting to the Remy girl, Sagi could tell. "Rescue will come. If your kin does not come first, then eventually the centaurs will come. I know for a fact that they would not leave me behind, because we all care for each other. I believe the same applies to the wizardry."
At least, that's what Sagittarius hoped. She hoped that the herd wouldn't automatically assume that she ran away from home, or that she died at the hands of a foreign creature. She hoped that somehow, they would be able to find out that Sagi was kidnapped by some psycho and was kept prisoner in some nasty cell.
With her stomach rumbling, Sagi took one of the apples and slowly ate it. A small taste of the forbidden forest, although she knew the apples weren't grown there. It was a little comfort for the centaur, being stolen from her home.

Arachnid sat there, silent. He had never been so quiet in all his life. Always full of laughter, full of life. But the words of the man echoed in his ears as though he were sitting in a cave. Arachnid's heart shattered in his chest at those words: the final death. His maker... was dead.
But not just dead... dead for good. Gone from the world. Taken from him. There was no chance he could be found now... now that his own maker could no longer search for him. The thought of this made tears well in Arachnid's eyes. They rolled down his cold face as the students argued amongst themselves.
Their voices were miles away as he realized that Strike was gone. Gone forever. He hated that man more than he could imagine, but there were so many times that he had put himself in danger to save Arachnid's life. For some reason that he could never figure out, Strike was really attached to Arachnid. When he needed him, Strike was there. Now what would he do?
"Enough!" he yelled at the students, vampire rage coming to his eyes, "Not another word from any of you, or I'll personally request one of you for my next meal!" he hissed. He'd do it too, with how much they were screaming at each other. It was driving him crazy.
He needed to think this through. He needed a plan. C'mon quick thinker, he thought to himself. He always had a plan in mind. Right now, he needed one. Or a miracle. That would work too.

✺ Single✺ Chaser✺ Werewolf✺ Gryffindor✺ Fourth Year✺▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ shut herself up. Heather yelled at her? Then Jack yelled at her?! At least Caitlin and the centaur were trying to help! She felt hurt, she felt sad, but most of all, she felt betrayed. Her only sister yelled at her! She wished that she could curl up in a ball and die. She relaxed her muscles and slumped forward, feeling quite the epitome of cowardliness. She wouldn't fight any more. She couldn't. She sat in utter silence, wishing she could bash her head into the wall. 'She's right, you know.' her thoughts began whirring. 'No one's coming. Not for you. Everyone has someone to fight for them, but not you. You're a miserable wretch. A monster. You deserve the death that awaits you here.' she thought. She was quickly spiraling into a pit of depression. She shook her head, refusing to speak. Even tears weren't running any more. She sat there in the odd new silence of the room, barely breathing so she didn't disrupt the stillness. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Wearing{Out of Chasing:} ────(♥)(♥)(♥)────(♥)(♥)(♥)__ɪƒ ƴσυ'ʀє αʟσηє,──(♥)██████(♥)(♥)██████(♥)ɪ'ʟʟ ɓє ƴσυʀ ѕɧα∂σѡ.─(♥)████████(♥)████████(♥)ɪƒ ƴσυ ѡαηт тσ cʀƴ,─(♥)██████████████████(♥)ɪ'ʟʟ ɓє ƴσυʀ ѕɧσυʟ∂єʀ.──(♥)████████████████(♥)ɪƒ ƴσυ ѡαηт α ɧυɢ,────(♥)████████████(♥)__ɪ'ʟʟ ɓє ƴσυʀ ρɪʟʟσѡ.──────(♥)████████(♥)ɪƒ ƴσυ ηєє∂ тσ ɓє ɧαρρƴ,────────(♥)████(♥)__ɪ'ʟʟ ɓє ƴσυʀ ѕɱɪʟє.─────────(♥)██(♥)ɓυт αηƴтɪɱє ƴσυ ηєє∂ α ƒʀɪєη∂,───────────(♥)__ɪ'ʟʟ ʝυѕт ɓє ɱє.

Her head was spinning with frustration and anger as well as sorrow and regret. She heard the Centaur's words, as well as Caitlin's and Mr. Terran's. But when she heard nothing from Remy, she knew what she had done. "I hope you're hungry for Hufflepuff, Mr. Terran..." she began. She would speak. She had to. A Chimera wasn't supposed to act this way, and she had to set it right again. Or, as right as it could be. "I'm sorry, Rem. I didn't mean it, honest. It's just... I'm scared, is all. I don't know what's happening to us, and I don't like it. I can't fix it and make it better like I usually do when things go wrong. I'm just flustered. But... Someone must be looking for us by now. Mum and Da, and Ter..." she trailed off as her thought ended. At this point, if Mr. Terran wanted to make a meal of her, so be it. At least her blood would keep him alive and strong. She could do some good here, because as of now, all she's done is make things worse.

Caitlin rolled her eyes at Mr. Terran, "Word," She said, she had been through worse and was most definately not scared of Mr. Terran of all things that have happened. Caitlin took a breath and looked down out her bindings, there had to be a way out without killing themselves. As she thought, she started to hum, it calmed her a little bit. But Caitlin in the end couldn't think of anything. They had their wands, she felt bare without it. Even if they got out of this mess, how would they get their wands back? "Mr. Terran, did you have a wand?"

 ❋ Sagittarius ❋ Centaur _________ ___________________ ____________________________
Sagittarius wasn't sure how to handle people breaking down and yelling at each other to be quiet. Honestly, she hadn't dealt with these kind of people until now. Usually, she was the one yelling at others. Sagi took a large bite of another apple, listening to the others talk.
"How mean of you, vampire, to use such a threat," Sagittarius said. "If I wasn't shackled right now, I would've kicked your nuts so hard that you wouldn't be able to stand for a week."

{Meanwhile in another part of the house} Today was turning out to be a very strange one indeed. First he had that really weird dream that had woken him up in the middle of the night. Papa had been upset too apparently he had been dreaming weird things too. They had spent the night downstairs in the big chair that Papa liked but that had just been the beginning of the weird stuff. Papa had hurried them along that morning but he still made time to play a bit with him. They were going to be going somewhere important but Lior hadn't caught what it was called. All he caught was that Grandpa worked there and that they'd stop by and see him. That was going to be fun. However that was where things got really weird. They went downstairs like normal, locked up like they always did when going out but Papa had a customer. The Lady looked nice but to be honest Lior wasn't sure he liked her. Papa didn't seem to like her and if Papa didn't like her then he didn't. She had come over to him where he had been sitting, like a good boy, on the window seat. He hadn't liked the way she played with his hair or kissed him on the head. But Papa didn't stop her. Everything seemed really wrong when Papa's magic stick was taken and the woman picked him up. Papa had said everything would be ok.....so everything would be....wouldn't it? He had watched wide eyed as the lady carried him away but Papa had stayed. Why was Papa staying? Before he could ask they poofed, the same way Papa did or Uncle Xeny did when he was with him. Lior had always thought it felt weird and never liked it but he didn't fuss. Papa had always said he was a good boy, he didn't cry often and was always really good when they poofed together. That meant he had to be a good boy when the Lady poofed right? When they had reappeared they were in a place he didn't know. Uncle Xeny wasn't there nor was Grandpa or anyone he knew. Where were they? Clutching his stuffed panda Lior had gazed wide eyed over the Lady's shoulder seeing more people he didn't know. There were some other ladies in the room but they didn't look too happy right now. A big tub was sitting to the side of the room making the boy wonder who was going to take a bath at this hour. Finally they passed upon a man sitting in a chair like the ladies had been. He didn't seem to be feeling too good. Were these people sick? Was that why they were in chairs? Shouldn't they be laying down? The people left his vision and next came a Man. The Lady handed him over to the Man and already Lior was certain he didn't like this man. Maybe it was because he was getting tired of being held and he was getting very hungry but Lior wasn't sure. After a long moment the Man carried him away to yet another room and the three year old was seriously considering a tantrum. Though once he got a look into the room he found himself in a dark room and no longer did he want down. Something moved in that room and he heard something he wasn't sure what it was but he didn't like it. Then ere was those eyes. At least he thought they were eyes. He knew the color was purple, he and Papa had be playing the color game yesterday. Lior liked purple....at least he did. Before he could protest he was put down and left standing there holding his Panda close. He jumped lightly when the door closed behind him leaving him with the strange person. Try as he might though he could not see the person int he room with him. It was a person right? The Man did call them Wife. Wife meant it was a lady....at least he thought it did. Standing there in the quiet Lior was at a lost as to what to do. "Where's papa?" The words came softly out of lips that had started to tremble. Wide teal eyes started to water up as the day's strange events truly started to catch up to the toddler. Lots of pandas: Mr. Monochrome, a strange person Lost in the bamboo: I wanna go home I need papa: Never posted as a three year old before. I hope this makes sense XD

♛♕♛♕♛♕♛♕♛The sounds of chains echoed in the room as the figure shifted. The poor dear was frightened, and rightly so. Being kidnapped and taken all this way. Away from his father and home to a strange and sinister place. This was not a place for children. It was not loving, there was no kindness, and The Family danced in the blood of immortals. To say that it was not kid-friendly was an understatement. It was not anything-friendly. No being should have been doomed to come to this place, but it needed to be done. This child needed to be here. All because he was a piece in the machine that needed to run. A plan so elaborate that it had taken eons to concoct. This boy was vital to everything.
A part of a woman stepped into the candlelight, kneeling down as she did. The chains on her body were heavy and weighed down on her shoulders. She was young, beautiful, with a kind smile on her face. From the shadows, she procured a pumpkin pasty. Food such as this did not sit well with her, but she knew that mortal children usually liked it. She had personally asked that this be given to her from The Family, and they had done it without question, "I know you are frightened, but I need you to trust me,"
This boy had no reason to trust her. She was half submerged in the shadows of her prison, chained up, and offering this boy a pumpkin pasty. If the boy didn't think she was a suspicious character, the woman would not have as many problems getting him to come closer. But she needed to earn his trust first, knowing that any good parent would have taught their child to beware of strangers. She was no exception to that rule, especially in their current predicament.
"My name is Lilith, what is yours, little one?" she could easily extrapolate the information if she wanted, but that would get her no where. Her voice was calm, collected, as she spoke. She tried to sound warm, inviting, friendly... the fate of the vampires rested on this child.♛♕♛♕♛♕♛♕♛

A tiny whimper left Lior when the person in the shadows started moving. There wasn't monsters in here was there? If there was then why wasn't papa here now? But the small child was transfixed as out of the shadows a woman appeared. She didn't look like the lady from before. This lady was pretty, very pretty but looked so tired. Why was she wearing those heavy things about her? This lady didn't seem like the other ones from upstairs. She looked at him, spoke to him but she wasn't anyone he knew so would Papa be upset for him talking to her? Papa was very big on him not talking to anyone when he was alone even Uncle Xeny had stressed that. A soft growl came from his belly and Lior looked at it briefly before looking at the pastry in the lady's hand. He was hungry that much was certain but what had Papa said about taking food from people he didn't know? Not to do so....at least he thought that was what Papa had said. So Lior stood where he was wanting far more then just the pastry sitting so tempting in they lady's hand. She continued to speak and now the lady had a name. Lil-lil....he wasn't sure how she said that but he'd have to try it eventually. Instead though he focused on the woman's question. Papa always said it was rude not to introduce yourself when someone gave you their name. "L-Lior....where's papa?" Maybe this lady would know where he was. He wanted his papa very much right now and the more he thought about his papa the more he wanted to sit down and cry. Lior wasn't the tantrum type, a blessing as his father called it, neither was he a crier. The lady Lilith seemed like a nice person. She sounded like one too and besides she looked nothing like the mean people upstairs or in his storybooks. She wasn't mean....was she? His stomach growled again and Lior couldn't help but take a small step towards her the pastry like a beacon in the room. He stopped though wondering what Papa would think of him doing so. The thought left him frozen again looking at Lilith his eyes swimming with confusion and fear. Lots of pandas: Mr. Monochrome, Lilith Lost in the bamboo: I wanna go home I need papa: She must work for the three year old a bit more...not much though XD
