"Oh! Well in that case..." Saliva set her plate down and fixed her bra. "I'll go have myself a drink." She strolled over, finding a spot at the bar. "Vodka." She said, and knew they wouldn't be giving her any cheap s**t.
Her almond eyes looked over at the tigers.
--
When Saliva rose, Melvin's eyes went wide and he opened his mouth but said nothing when she left him. A little sound died in the back of his throat, and he just stared at her as she took a seat at the bar.
Even his bodyguard needed to get away, but Melvin was left looking ready to blow a fuse.

That wasn't a kitty!
That wasn't a kitty at all!
G could only stare at Nuk for a moment, owlishly taking in the man as though trying to figure out where he had hid the tiger. Apparently, there'd been no tiger at all. Just this... guy.
When Jing approached Nuk and murmured something about stray animals, the big man found himself stiffening. Taking a step forward, one big hand was clapped on either man's shoulder, squeezing ever so slightly in a way that could be considered friendly.
"We're all family here." He said lowly, his face stoic. "We got bigger fish to fry."

Well. That was...different..
Candace had found herself pulled back when the black tiger made a move, looking over her shoulder to find Po had grabbed her. She smiled and kissed the taller woman's chin, untangling herself from the arms that had been holding her just in time to watch the pretty tiger her and the others had been petting had become a man. "Problem~?" She smirked. "I think I liked you better as a--" What the hell was that woman's problem?
"Rep, calm down. He was just sitting. There's no law against sitting beside a giant tiger while looking like one." She waved a hand in his direction. "That was interesting. And who are you?" Mr. I Can Become a Kitty Cat had Candace's attention now.

"YOU feel violated?!" he half-growled at Riyo, possibly a little stung that she was going to the bathroom, probably to wash her hands raw, "Who the ******** just waltzes up and touches a tiger, anyway?!"
Turning a little to face the other woman who had effectively coddled him like a kitty cat, Nuk stared at her for half a second before scowling, trying to remain immune to her obvious charm and beauty. "You too, missy." He pointed at Candance, possibly blushing a little. It was hard to forget she had stroked under his chin... and that he had liked it. A lot.
And now the redhead was raving at him, snarling much like the tiger had been a few moments before. Which Nuk wouldn't have put much stock in, except that the shadows had begun to twist around his fists, claw-like tendrils adding a tinge of a threat to the gravely tone. Bristling again, the shapeshifter responded in stride, his own fingers curling into fists. "I didn't touch your ******** tiger, Precious," he rumbled, amber eyes locked with Rep's until Tracey stepped between them, severing the hostile connection.
Well that was a shitfest. Feeling decidedly agitated, Nuk felt another pair of eyes on him, flicking them at Jing just in time to hear him drawl an insult. "What the ******** is your problem?" he half spat at Jing, just to burn off some excess anger. Anger which, surprisingly, dissipated when the large, gargantuan man settled a hand on his shoulder. Of all those who had thought he was actually a tiger, he'd felt the worst about G. There was something exceptionally endearing about him... and Nuk didn't feel that way about guys, normally. Not... THAT way either, no homo, just... he seemed like a good guy. Reaching up to pat G's hand, he offered the big lug a forced little smile. "You got it, big guy."
Exhaling heavily, the shapeshifter finally returned his gaze to the woman who hadn't actually been revolted by his presence, folding his arms across his chest a little defensively.
"Name's Nuk," he replied, eyeing Candace with wary interest, "How about you, Angel?"

Jerry ignored the bartender's snarls an yelps as he had tried to pick up the half-melted glass. Even any response from Ferros at his acceptance of the large man's invitation was lost.
His eyes were locked on the shirtless, tan-skinned man currently talking with Miss Candace.
His brows furrowed as he murmured a quiet, "Ah... excuse me a moment?" To the bodyguard before slipping from his stool.

"What, I should be afraid of a tiger in a room of cut-throats?" Riyo immediately stopped in her tracks and hissed back, very clearly angry now. "Animals are easy to deal with. If they attack, it's because you're doing something wrong." The girl's eyes bore into Nuk's face, probably to memorize it for future endeavors. If they were going to die, she would do her best to ensure he went in the most gruesome fashion.
She'd overheard the G's comment about family, and her scowl widened. "None of you are my ******** family. Just some festering assholes I have to put up with to make a living."

Rin managed to hogde-podge herself a tray of delectable delights out of one of the serving trays and absconded with it to the bar so she could acquire something wash it down. Wow. Bar was certainly busy tonight. She pushed and shoved her way front and center, "Whiskey Sour."
While waiting for her order she noticed Byr making eyes at Rep and rolled her eyes before looking at several others and finally staring at Melvin with a little smile, "You should eat you know. I'm sick of you visiting my office and right now you look like s**t."

Rep hissed to himself at the bar, picking up the shotglass he'd been drinking from and eyeing it speculatively. The bartender made placatory hand waving gestures but to no avail as Rep vented by launching it at the wall all over again. "PRECIOUS."
"I'm no ******** precious." Tracey sighed and held her head in her hands before having back over to tidy up, placing her hands on Rep's shoulders fleetingly. "No darling, you aren't precious, you are entirely relaxed" She wasn't sure who she was kidding. "I will go and get you one of those little hot dogs." she said indulgently, retrieving one and handing it over to the unprotesting Rep.
Mass however, left behind in the wake of the argument decided that he liked Nuk better as a human and went over to headbutt him for attention to see if he had any stowed food on hand, curling his tail around to bat Candace affectionately too.

Nukpana, of course Serafina was cutting down on crime! She wasn't a liar. She was just cutting down on the silly crime that was ... a problem to The Boss and those that followed him. If he scratched her back, she might-as-well scratch his, mm? Make it so there's less other competition to worry about.
But then, a lot of what she said publicly seemed to be such a facade.
When Candace said that was it, Serafina was admittedly a little relieved. If Candace was done, Serafina could go back to drinking her long island. There was a playful smile and a nod as she was thanked, offering her standard, "I hope I was able to address your concerns appropriately," to the woman in front of her, before turning her attention back to what she was drinking.
There was something to be said about being able to keep a straight face, and perhaps that came as no exception as the situation seemed to unfold right in front of her. What exactly was going on over there? There was a tiger ... no, two. She hadn't had that much to drink yet, had she?
Serafina's eyes flicked over to her glass.
No, she had only taken a few sips. So there were two tigers. She knew that people would like to keep exotic pets, but this was almost unusual. She preferred dogs, herself. Stupidly loyal and overly affectionate, it gave her a lot of what she no longer had in her own life. When she wasn't politicking, she was campaigning, after all. And when she wasn't campaigning, she was smiling and nodding, listening to the concerns of a populace, and mining information from those she kept on her good side.
Wait, did it just become ... human... And now Rep was shouting. Lovely.
Serafina glanced at her drink. Maybe she needed a bit more.

Melvin looked up to see his primary physician and sank a little in his seat. "There are birds in the food." He mumbled to her. "I won't get sick." He said, and slowly reached into his pocket, feeling around for any of the blue pills he had kept on him. He didn't need this type of food. He wanted his own food back in his lab that was made the way he liked it.
"You have blood on you." He pointed out, not wanting her to get too close with that apron on."

G could only offer a very large, pleased smile at Nuk in return, releasing his shoulder. Riyo's language made him wince a little, and with a long-suffering sigh, he fixed his attention on her. Had to do this respectfully--he didn't want to piss her off or put a target on his back in the process.
"Well," He said after a moment, rubbing his jaw uncertainly, "You're my family. Just because you don't like it don't mean I'm not gonna try and look out for you. It's them, or us." And Gargantuan had no intention of letting his family fall to any other kingdoms.
Of course, all that reasonableness went right out of his head when Massacre approached, and his toes curled up in his shoes. Fortunately, he still had one of those mini hot dogs in his hands, and he'd offer it to the big cat with tentative eagerness. Kittykittykittykittykitty.

Mass was filled with tremendous delight at the mini hot dog, so much in fact he got up on his hind paws and set his forepaws eagerly against G as he scarfed it, rumbling eagerly. Unfortunately this meant G would find almost 600 pounds of fat tiger hurled against his chest.
At least it was with a lot of love.

"But what else is new?" Rin chuckled boisterously. "In any case, if you don't expose yourself to some of the real world like I told you - you are going to catch the common cold then fall over dead one day." Was she joking? She didn't look like she was joking. "I'm glad to see you out and about at all, honestly," she reached to grab a crab cake from her tray and snarf it hungrily. "Just remember, next time you keel over from exhaustion, I can make coming to my office much more uncomfortable."

"You weren't aggressive and my colleague has a tiger of his own. No reason for me to fear a tiger if I assume it's simply someone's pet." Candace explained with a smile, doing the nice thing and not remarking on the flush of his cheeks. Awww, was someone embarrassed? How precious. Her smile fell at the sight of his fists. Oh hell no, there were not going to be any fights tonight. She was grateful to Tracey for stepping in. Always liked that girl.
She was distracted from Nuk by something batting at her leg, looking down to find Mass had rejoined them after Rep had stormed off to have one of his little hissy fits. "Hello, Mass." She crooned affectionately, reaching down to pet the tiger by her side. The large man came over to offer Mass a hot dog and she grinned. "Be careful, he'll never leave you alone once you feed him...juuuust like that." Candace actually laughed at the way Mass threw himself at the man with love, turning back to Nuk when he addressed her again.
Candace smiled. "You can call me Candy, sweetheart. It's a pleasure to meet you." Ah, but he was a hostile one. Everything about his posture screamed discomfort and aggression. "You can relax. I don't bite."

Melvin tensed even more than he had, squeezing the water bottle in his thin fingers, when Rin gave a threat to him not socializing. Considering how often he went to her office, he really didn't want to be mistreated.
"I guess." He said, rising up as he considered his limited options.
It was then that he saw a tiger tackle a large man and he dropped his water. "It's killing him!" He dropped his water to grab a chair and held it before him. He knew tigers and how they mauled people. He was not going to be a toothpick after it was done. NOPE!
