"Heel, boy!"

A transparent ghostly horse stopped at the front of the hotel. The spiritual animal neighed in a ghostly matter to its master's orders, raising its fore legs. Sitting atop it was a light skinned man wearing a white kimono with blue spark designs upon it, with only half of it hanging down his right arm as the left half of his torso was left exposed, arm and all, revealing lean muscle and a wrapped bandaged armguard. He had long blue hair, tied into a ponytail for the moment. Blue hakama covered his legs, the wide length leaving more than enough room for his legs to move in. Leaping off his spiritual mount, the horse neighed once more before it morphed into a thinner form, swirling through the air before it went back into the handguard of the sheathed katana in his left hand.

Z. Kuro had a total of three sheathed swords on his person, two being katanas. The first one was the one in his hand currently. Its scabbard was decorated in white with blue banding decorations. The second one hung currently to the left of his waist, which is where his first katana also rested when not in use. The second scabbard was black in color with gold crisscross patterns running from the handguard down to a gold capped ending. The final sword rested on his back, handle over the right shoulder. This was not much of a katana as it was a larger sword. The shape was like that of a katana, but its flat side was much wider, about three inches wide, with the total length of the sword being five feet.

The Algenian had finally made it here. It had been years since he had seen that man. And today, he was going to see him again. He had been searching for a long time to find Doji again, and now he had done so. Unfortunately, he felt a sense of rejection. If Doji wanted his attention, he would have asked for it. It just felt like Kuro was encroaching on the old man's space. He felt like he was being too bothersome, which was a fine feeling for someone who was modest in his mannerisms. And yet, maybe this was what Doji wanted. Seek him out to show his determination to learn. So Kuro swallowed his fear, put on his face of courage, and stepped forward into the hotel.

Hearing her name, Ellie looked up, blinking with surprise upon seeing a fox girl waving at her. Confused, she hesitantly lifted a hand, and waved in return. She didn't know this person, but figured that either her mother knew her or being the out going person she was, just met this person. With a heavy, Ellie stood up from the bar stool, and headed towards the entrance of the hotel. With everything that had happened, and is currently happening, she needed fresh air.

Stepping out, she paused, taking in a deep breath and tilted her head back to stare up at the sky. The sound of a horse neighing reached her ears, and she glanced towards the source, curiosity gleaming within her turquoise gold rimmed eyes. Her head tilted, causing strands of her fiery red silver streaked hair to fall before them. He was familiar, but she didn't know why he was, and racked her brain to try and remember. Finally it clicked, "Z.Kuro..." She said out loud, as her fingers curled nervously into the fabric of the red dress she wore.

Terra would watch as her daughter left, then with a mental shrug, turned her attention back to the fox girl. As the girl sat beside her, Terra smiled excitedly, "So you know how all this works, and I would imagine that some of the people you faced last year would be returning. That is good no?"

Feeling suddenly a familiar energy, Terra momentarily glanced towards the hotel entrance, mischievousness suddenly gleaming in her eyes.

Z. Kuro stopped when he heard the sound of his name. From a woman at that. He did not know who exactly could ever know him aside from Doji and Terra. Maybe there was someone here that he knew that were simply coincidental company of those two. He looked to the woman that addressed him and saw someone standing in red hair. The girl's face looked awfully familiar, but he could not figure out why. He was unaware that she was Terra's daughter.

"Yes," he said to the woman in question, walking closer to her with his left hand resting on top of his sheathed swords. "...have we met, miss?"

She smiled shyly when he walked closer, but when seeing his hand rest upon the swords at his side, her smile faded. Worry clouded her eyes, and she took a small step back. "No...no but my mother told stories.." She replied softly, fingers moving from her dress to idly play with the end of her braided hair that draped over her shoulder. Anxiously she shifted from leaning on one foot to another, her eyes glancing down at ground. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to bother you."

He was a bit perplexed why she stepped back. He supposed he was getting a little too close to the stranger. He didn't even think it was because of the display of his weaponry. His increasing anxiety was subdued, however, when she mentioned stories.

"Mother?"

Who was her mother to where she was able to get stories of Kuro? Kuro did not consider himself worthy of such. He was not yet at that level to be considered on the same pedestral of Doji. Further to even be mentioned as someone of merit. And yet, she knew of him. It then clicked.

"Was your mother...was your mother Terra? Wait. I see it now! The resemblance!" A smile stretched across his face.

Cale laughed at Aetyra's remark, at the same time accepting the pint glass that Thurgood handed her.

"A total douchebag." She agreed with a chortle. "And far too pretty."

She took a long pull of her drink, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand after.

"Oh I dunno about there being no decent men around here... you've gotta be a pretty damn wonderful person to hand out prime booze like this from the goodness of your own heart."

She paused for a moment, glanced around at the people present on the pool deck, and then winked at Aetyra.

"On second thought, you're right. Not too many standouts."

"Um...Yes my mother IS Terra. She just told me about you one time when I was little." She replied softly, peering up at him through the red bangs that fell in front of her eyes.

With his anxiety slowly fading, she would begin to relax, and allow herself to breath freely. At his mention of her resemblance to Terra, a blush colored her cheeks. "Anyways, she and my father are inside. I am sure she feels your presence here, and would be pleased to see you." Ellie didn't think he would want to stand here and converse with her. She was hardly as entertaining and outgoing as her parents.

Kuro truly was happy. To see the beautiful daughter of the two people he admired the most, and to hear more that her mother spoke kindly of him caused a great wave of excitement to pass through his body. It seemed he did not have much to worry about, after all. His only obstacle now was Doji. His feelings would decide the outcome of his visit.

"I will be glad to meet them momentarily. But it will be rude for me to leave you here without proper introductions. What is your name, miss?"

He wondered if she was simply raised as a normal girl, or if she was product of one or both of the parents, who each held something special in their skillsets. Was she great at swordsplay? Could she wield supernatural power like the delicate strings of a musical instrument? Maybe she had a mix of both, something Kuro possessed in skill himself.

He was strange, the way he lit up when she mentioned her relation to Terra, and how her parents were both within the hotel. From the little bit of story she was told of him, she never understood the devotion he had towards her mother. He had a good heart, she knew that much, just found it difficult to figure him out now that he stood physically before her.

"My name is Ellie, it is a pleasure to finally meet you."

Curiosity piqued, her aura tentatively reached out, inspecting him, and feeling the energy that surrounded almost all living beings.

"What had brought you here? Was it by chance? Or did you hear of their presence here?"

A bemused expression seated itself on the death knight's face as she glanced down at the pint mug filled with shine. "Aye, so we're dwarves now? In that case..."

The entire pint disappeared in seconds, as if the burn wasn't even there. Not having to breathe was a huge plus in such circumstances. Aetyra smacked her lips, placing the mug beside her, before grinning broadly.

"Your turn." she gestured to Cale, topping off her mug. "If you're still conscious 5 minutes from now, you have my eternal respect. Prize included."

Now, Cale could hold her alcohol. But the chick beside her barely even seemed phased by how fast she'd put away that drink. And it was strong stuff, too.

But there was a challenge issued, and Cale wasn't one to turn down a challenge.

"A contest is it? Right then - bottoms up!"

She lifted her glass as if in a toast and then tilted the whole thing back, her throat working hard as she tried to guzzle the whole drink. It took her a little longer to finish than Aetyra, and when she did, her eyes were watering and she blinked rapidly, shaking her head to clear it and swallowing down the burn.

Still, though, she put the empty glass between the two of them to show she'd drank it all. It was much stronger even than what she was used to, and she'd drank it a lot faster than usual. But still she gestured for the other woman to fill the glass again.

Aetyra could barely contain her mirth as she watched Cale with a mix of admiration and glee.

Hefting the jug, she peered inside it, gauging the level of the alcohol. "Only have enough for three more rounds, I'd say."

She poured the second round for both of them, and clinked it to Cale's. "To your health!"

And down it went, straight, with no pause once again. The empty mug returned to the poolside, almost expectantly. "Try to keep up, eh?"

Cale accepted the second round wordlessly, but with her signature reckless grin. She was so game for this.

The second pint went down with about as much success at the first, miraculously enough. She hardly slopped any and didn't fall prey to even a coughing fit as the alcohol burned and burned its way down her throat.

Still, when she next set the empty glass on the poolside, there was a definite sort of swaying to her movement. From her perspective though, she was the one sitting still and it was the world swaying around her.

"C-come on then," She gasped, "Another!"

The girl was heroic, it had to be said. Cale had already ingested enough alcohol to drop a horse, probably, in less time than most people drank water.

Nonetheless, the tell-tale signs of rapid intoxication were appearing, and the death knight was pouring the final nail in the coffin, as it were.

"As you wish, hun." A third round of the practically pure ethanol was poured, and similarly consumed without batting an eyelash by the night elf. She looked pointedly at Cale. "I mean, if you're too chicken I understand. Your liver and all that."

Cale slurred competitively, pointing a finger at the night elf. In reality, she was rather off course, pointing into the open air over Aetyra's shoulder instead.

"I so got this..."

Actually, she almost knocked over her glass when she reached for it. But eventually she managed to maneuver the beverage to her lips and begin drinking. This time she slopped a fair amount of the stuff over her cheeks, but after a moment it got to the point where at least it burned so much that she didn't feel it anymore.

When she finished the pint, she looked briefly as if she wouldn't be able to keep it down. She stifled a burp with the back of her hand, then closed her eyes, pinching the bridge of her nose as she tried to stomach it. She almost looked like she was about to fall down, but then she opened those amber eyes of hers and regained(ish) her balance. She narrowed her eyes at the night elf and leaned forward in drunken suspicion as if only just catching on that the woman was not in the least inebriated.
