At Sammy's concern for her reigns, Calder seemed both nervous and a bit hesitant, taking his tail to idly twist it free of water and looking down at it. "Well, I know some people put reigns inside things they can wear. Like a scarf. That way you can have it on your without showing it. I had a friend who did that." He said, feeling the weight of his own reign that was hidden from view.

"Though I don't see how your reign could be bad for you. Nothing wrong with being a Horse Ghoul."

"Well, they're always sort of damp, so it might be a little awkward to carry around like it is," Siddie offered.

"Yeah they came from some kinda sea God so they tend to like leak seawater all the damn time..." She tugged them off where they where clipped to her hips a damp spot clearly on her pants. "And they have lil crusty things growing on it and stuff." Those would be barnacles, she didn't know that though.

"I well... if they worked by contact I'd be a horse right now and I've never put them on myself because I mean Reins are meant for you know... the other person..." She looked away immediately kicking at the dirt trying to look as innocent as possible.

"Oh, well, I never mind being wet, but I didn't know you didn't wear it but used it on another person. I just thought it was like..well, normal reigns that you had for yourself that other people held onto." Of course as a kepie, reigns worked in a different way.

"So I guess in this case, you're the rider in this situation. Not the one being ridden." Not like Calder, who's reigns worked for those who he trusted to ride on his back.

"I don't know what to say then. Maybe find a leather bag for them that won't drip." Calder patted the leather belt where a decorative leather bag sat on his hip.

"Yes, this whole thing started because she put them on me," Siddie pouted, elbowing Sammy again. She giggled at Calder's next comment, though, blushing again.

"Leather sounds like a good idea. Or maybe something absorbent? Or both?"
