She squeezed his hands lightly in return but that sad look didn't really lift. "Seems like a rather expensive gift for just that..." Mitsu mumbled. There was something about it that just didn't sit well with her and she wasn't sure what it was yet. Maybe it was just the fact that it was a much nicer gift than her own.

His words were at least reassuring as he lifted her chin to give her another kiss. She leaned into it before he pulled away nodding about the gifts. It was nice to know she had gotten him something useful.

With that out of the way for now Mitsu moved toward the reaper's bed to have a seat, watching Shun dig around for her gifts. She wasn't sure what to expect but suddenly thought of something else she forgot. "Ah, I forgot your spookie back in my dorm." At least if Milo hadn't gotten into them. He had already eaten one of the three and she wasn't sure which one it had been. All of the packages looked around the same now since he had pawed at them and tore into one to devour the contents.

"I'll try to remember before Milo eats them. He already ate one." When Shun came back from his closet Mitsu looked to the gift curiously running her fingers lightly over the white paper and gold ribbon. She smiled up at him excitedly before she began to carefully peel away the paper and found a wooden box. It was rather intricately made, Celtic designs covering the sides and framing the craved picture of wolves running through the mountain side with a full moon over head. Touching the picture delicately Mitsu was rather happy with the gift as it was but realized it was kind of heavy to just be a box.

It was because of that thought that she finally opened the lid, her ears pivoting completely forward as the music began to chime, the little wolf moving from one side to the other. It wasn't the wolf that had her attention though, nor the music. The single ring that sat as plan as day in the middle of the box was hard to ignore and Mitsu stared at it wide eyed for a moment before she delicately picked it up. "Is this...?"

The lycan couldn't take her eyes off the ring in her hand, carefully setting the music box aside so that she could inspect the piece of jewelry. It was so small but held so much meaning to it. Her eyes only lifted when Shun showed her an identical ring to the one she was holding, her eyes brightening as she turned to look at his face.

Without warning she threw her arms around her reaper and held him close. She hugged him tightly for only a moment before she began to attack his face with kiss after kiss. His gift had truly been the best and she felt her gratitude could only really be shown through actions instead of words.

It was a long while before Mitsu let up on her affection. She wasn't satisfied until every inch of his face had been covered by kisses the last being pressed to his lips fully. Crawling into his lap to deepened the kiss she only pulled back when her body demanded the air. There she rested pressing her forehead against his.

"I love you," She said softly, managing to push out a few words in between breaths. His gift had been rather unexpected and while rings were not a custom to her own family she knew what it represented.

Pressing one more kiss to his lips she finally pulled away so that she could look at the ring again. "Which finger does it go on?" She looked at his hand to see which finger he had placed his on. It would be the same wouldn't it?

When he indicated which finger Mitsu slipped the ring on and held her hand up to have a look at it. Smiling she leaned her head against Shun admiring her new ring. "I more than like it." She assured. "It's the best Christmastival gift ever."

It was a rather big gift for being such a small item and it was a new feeling having a ring on her finger but she couldn't say she didn't like it. Her fingers fiddled with the piece of jewelry, spinning it lightly in place while she relaxed. Everything just felt right at the moment and it took her a little bit to actually move from her position.

"Do you want to try out your gift?" Mitsu asked. And by his gift she meant the massage oils. He had a few to choose from and she didn't mind giving him a back rub. Shun had carried her all the way here after all.

Mitsu smiled but she wasn't sure if he would be able to find a better gift. Nothing would be able to top this in her mind. It was another step in their relationship in a way. True they had already agreed to an engagement but now they had physical proof for all to see.

"Alright." She nodded, slipping off his lap to grab the box he had set aside earlier. Bringing it back toward to bed she pulled out several bottles each with a different mixture of oil and herbs. Each was different in its own way though some only varied slightly.

"You have a couple to choose from. Muscle relaxation, rejuvenating, energizing, stress relief, and this one they said was more of aromatherapy. It helps with headaches." She set them all out in front of him though she could probably guess he would go with the muscle relaxation one for now. There was also one other still left in the box but she hadn't bothered to pull it out. It would probably be used later on but if Shun happened to ask Mitsu would sheepishly tell him the title of it was 'Intimately Sensual' which gave enough of an idea of what it was for.
