[Rochelle]
She sucked in a deep breath as the dragonet bounced closer and closer still. Her eyes widened, entire body tensed and waiting for the Impression she'd been so sure would happen with each claw leading her closer.
Anticipation gave way to the upmost disappointment. Her shoulders curved into a sag and full lips pursed to hide the look of being a loser. Rochelle shook herself out of it as quickly as she could, looking up just in time to see the green bounce from Carltis.
The glassmith raised a hand to wave at him in attempt to catch his attention, to mouth 'you okay' in concern for his physical well being. Somehow she doubted he was as disappointed as she with the lack of green Impression.

[Wen] Wen watched the pair break apart, the green happily greeting the candidates while the blue... started harassing the diminutive blood red shell of it sibling. Perhaps it was an atypical egg? They needed extra help to hatch and the egg was tiny and rather still. He shifted, watching a rather large green escape from the rather plain eggs of Sunnath's and turned his attention back to the blue hatching attempting to crack his brothers or sisters shell. Wen wished him luck, trusting that Hyweth would have stopped the stocky blue if he was doing anything damaging.

[Carltis]
Carltis caught the gesture and mouthed '[extremely rude word] dragon!' at his friend. He approved of an energetic dragon he supposed, but that was just far too much... unless she changed her mind and decided she did want him. That would be totally fine, if she did.
-------------
[Bereck]
Oh shaff.
His heart rate leapt as the baby dragon leapt onto a candidate - one of Aleck's friend's - and he grabbed a roll of bandage from the table. Before he could rush over (attempt to rush in any case) the green bounced onward again and Carltis picked himself up, quite notably not screaming in pain with guts all over the place.
Making a disgruntled 'humph' noise Bereck set the bandages back on the table and fixed his eyes on the energetic green; the next person she tackled might not be quite so lucky.

Renio
Watching the hatchlings with eager eyes, Renio grinned expectantly as they finally finished their game. The green strutted towards the group of Candidates, and the boy stood just a little taller. Now was the time and he had to look good! "They're coming, they're coming," he whispered to those surrounding him, telling them what their eyes could see. His excitement fell, though, as the green launched herself at another male Candidate he didn't know. Oh no, what was she doing?! How could such a previously playful dragon turn bloodthirsty in a split second?
Wait. Except she wasn't bloodthirsty, and was playing around with the Candidate like she had with her blue brother. Renio felt rather foolish after assuming the dragon had turned dangerous, and an embarrassed flush rose to his cheeks. For once he was glad that he hadn't spoken up! The horror stories of hatchlings rampaging over Candidates were getting to him.
But now what was that blue doing? The sound of the egg cracking startled Renio. "What's he doing, do you think? Maybe helping the other hatchling out? Do they do that? I bet that's what he's doing! What a good brother."

The Shivering green wove in and out of the candidates, skidding right up to some and clipping others playfully with a wing or her tail as she passed them by. Where was she? Where was her's she felt her, knew she was here, she just had to find - The slender green almost managed to stop in mid air half way through a bound as a sudden surge of right flowed through her mind. Bulging exuberantly she skittered around and ploughed her way through the candidates until she reached Kodi. In front of this girl, for the first time, the Shivering green still and gave a soft croon.

Two… no, three dragonets on the sands now, and Nyasa couldn’t help but shake her head at two of them. The Blue was far too loud, and the bouncy Green too hyperactive. It was rather unimpressive, and she could only hope they’d outgrow it as they matured. The third dragonet though, the quiet one she’d almost overlooked in spite of her bright coloring, was much more promising. She didn’t have high expectations about the Candidates the other two would choose, but perhaps this other Green would go to a more… practical sort.

[Wen] Three greens and three female impression. Wen gave the newly impressed pair a nod and turned back to watching the stocky blue work open the blood red egg with the stripes and spots. The other green would likely hang around the girls, it seemed to be a trend. He was rather interested in what lurked in the tiny red shell.

Well, this was certainly entertaining. The green and blue continued to rough house until the green finally broke off to head to the candidates. Guess she thought it was time to find hers. With his play partner gone, the blue turned back towards the crimson's eggs and proceeded to mess with his clutch siblings. And just what was he doing with that shard anyways? Torin couldn't remember every seeing a dragon picking up pieces of it's shell. Wait..what was he doing with the Look Before You Leap egg?
Torin raised an eyebrow as the blue smacked the egg and quickly hid a small grin. Was the blue trying to help the egg, or was he merely attempting to play? Hmm. However, before he could think too hard on it another egg had hatched and out came another green. However, this one seemed content with sprawling out in the sands and...waiting. For the right candidate? The right time? Who knew with these dragons sometimes.
The green that was withing the candidates still had yet to find hers though. She'd been making her rounds in and around the candidates, searching for that perfect one until...ah. She stilled and let out a noise that seemed to just give off the fact that she'd Impressed.

Another impression, and Darsha had to buck herself up once again. She was not a girl who was accustomed to feeling uncertain, but this experience was more nerve-wracking than she had ever thought it could be. There were still eggs left, though the pile was dwindling. The girl gasped as the loud blue leapt upon the Look Before You Leap egg, afraid that he would somehow damage the dragon inside. Thankfully, however, he only batted it around a bit and then wandered off elsewhere. Darsha sighed with relief and found a small smile lurking within her. It took her several moments before she realized that the Opportune Moment egg had hatched a lovely bright green who appeared ready to settle down and wait. Darsha's smile got a little bigger. If hers was here, then she would impress. And if not... well, she would cross that bridge if she came to it.

Oh how friggin adorable was that?!
Kodi watched the two dragonets play with one another, stifling a giggle behind her hand. They were like two of the canine pups she'd seen back home! It also reminded her of how she and Vinar goofed around a lot. Which brought a fond smile to her face. And then their game was over and the two went about searching for... someone. In the Blue's case, it seemed he was quite interested in the another egg.
As for the Green, she was on a mission. And went from Candidate to Candidate, knocking one poor boy down! Kodi snickered softly, really hoping the boy was alright. But it was still funny!
And then Kodi was left staring in shock, most likely with a hilarious expression on her face.
A second shock as she heard sweet and energetic voice in her head.
Aeskeluth trilled, tail twitching in a way that made her new bonded think of a canine wagging their tail. She pranced around her Kodi and bumped the girl's legs.
She still couldn't quite wrap her mind around the bouncy Green by her side, but Kodi found herself sliding a hand along Aeskeluth's back and following after her with the same enthusiasm the Green was vibrating with.
Making their way towards the feeding tables, Aeskeluth had a bounce in her step and wasted no time in greeting and chatting with her siblings! Which forced Kodi to greet each of the other newly Impressed.
"Hello... " Kodi said a little shyly, a hint of pink on her cheeks. "This is Aeskeluth." She said, glancing down at the Green with a stupid silly grin on her face.

With Shivering out of the way, Opportune Moment got sedately to her paws and padded towards the lefthand end of the rough semi circle of candidates. She inspected those she passed with a critical, astute eye. In no rush and taking no chances she met the gaze of all who would look at her but gave no sign of what she thought of what she saw.
Meanwhile, Damaged Eardrumns was still busy harassing Look Before You Leap with chirps and pats to the egg's shell. Bits of it were starting to fall away, because there was no stopping the force of nature that was Mr Eardrums. Apparently the occupant of Look Before You Leap realised this, but that didn't make him happy about it. Yes, him; that was definitely a bright blue foot that shot out of the egg and smacked Eardrums on the muzzle. Eardrums made a burbling noise that sounded like a laugh and jumped backwards, head and forelegs to the ground and hindquarters wriggling in the air.
Just as the vivid, spotted, tiny little Look Before You Leap blue clambered to his feet and turned to face his brother he got tackled to the ground. The much smaller hachtling gave a little squeak of surprise and squirmed underneath his stocky, triumphant sibling. This wrestling match - if you could call The Flattening that - was soon over however; Eardrums scrambled off his brother, grabbed his shard of egg once more and set off towards the candidates with a muffled cheerful chrip.
The little blue gave his sibling a Look but soon trotted after him in any case. Quick little strides allowed him to catch up before long and he bumped his head against the bigger blue's shoulder even as he gave an incredulous snort.

[Wen] Wen couldn't help the chuckle escape him as the Eardrum blue got smacked by a less then pleased little blue foot. He smothered it quickly and watched the newest blue, a tiny little vivid blue clamber onto his feet just to end up flattened by his exuberant brother. Eardrum's won rather quickly and after taking a bit of shell, one had to wonder about the blue's shell collecting wander off.
The newest blue tailed along after his larger sibling. They seemed rather chummy actually.

Two blues on their way over. Blue would be fine... and that was good, because there weren't all that many eggs left. They were both nice looking - all the dragons so far had been today - and he hadn't seen them do anything that made him dislike them. Seemed like they were pretty friendly though, and that would be awkward if one picked him and one picked some total tit.
Still, better that than ending up alone again.

[Bereck]
Well thank stars for that; the energetic green had Impressed. With her out of the way he eyed the other three wandering dragons critically. All looked healthy and none looked vicious, though the blue with the very dark portions of him could be as much trouble as the Shivering green had been. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case; a nice quiet hatching, that was what he wanted to see. After that perhaps he could acquire some food from the feast and then get away from the noise and the press of people that went hand in hand with such events. Go somewhere quiet with Aleck and dissect the event, perhaps, unless Aleck was at the Feast celebrating the Impression of one of his friends.

So far there was plethora of blues and greens and while they were cute and fun to watch they were not what Roscoe was looking for..and yet the eggs were dwindling, there weren't all that many left and he found himself fidgeting. As much as he wanted a bronze or a brown well..any dragon would certainly be better then no dragon. Right?
Well..not any dragon, certainly he didn't want one of those weak and illness prone Atypicals to look after, but they needed help to hatch he had heard and maybe when they started whacking open eggs he could just slink off somewhere to avoid the chance. Well..he wouldn't cross that bridge until it happened. At the moment the eggs seemed to be hatching just fine on their own.

Cai winced as more and more candidates were bowled over by the romping hatchlings. No injuries though, they could get lucky with this clutch. What over half the remaining eggs were cracked and the dragons, blues and greens all of them (sharding thieves), were Impressing at a good rate.
Cai couldn't help constantly glancing towards Hyweth's clutch. She'd spent a little bit of time observing them from the Stands during the Touching. To all outward appearances they were exactly like Suunath's eggs, which only confirmed her belief that it was idiotic to ignore the existence of atypical dragons.
She knew crimsons were known to hatch atypicals... as the Damaged Eardrums blue began to smash open one of his siblings eggs her breath caught "ah!" ...Was he freeing an atypical? Did dragons do that?! But no. It was another blue. A small blue, but a blue none the less. She admired the pattern of his hide for a brief moment as he was harassed by his sibling, before letting her greygreen gaze try and pierce the remaining shells and see which might hold the object of her interests.
