*Eve laughed and patted his back, "your learning." From there they walked on as soon nightfall came to pass, and they stopped to make a camp. As they sat down int he forest, eve had stacked up a pile of sticks, "i want you to light this with your fox fire." She replied looking up to him. Menawhile her hands were still in the pile, she smerked, "serously."

Hiyo was slightly surprised by the request, even though she had set her up for injury. With precision, his foxfire consumed the sticks, but refused to burn her hand in the process. "Are you sure about this?"

*Eve chukkled and moved her hands up, "Fire dosn't hurt me, i can control it, minpulate it. My familiy wa boarn of fire from the great phonix himself." She smiled and played with the fire in her hands before tossing back into the campfire. "I can even mold it..." she then held out her finger and traced it int he air, suddenly the fire made a shape. She smiled, "basicly i'm letting you know, as my allie you can't hurt me. When i say you get go all out, i mean it." She chukkled and sat back, "alright well we need to hunt some dinner up now don't we. I almost didn't think of it. Ever gone hunting before?"

"I tried it once, thinking that I was going to be found out and kicked out of town anyways. It felt odd, like an instinct." With that, Hiyo poofed and morphed into a fox the size of a wolf, more tails appearing this time; 3 to be exact. "I'll try it again, but don't count on it..." He ran off into the woods, trying to find something descent.
He found some rabbits; nice and fat, good enough for a meal. He honed his 5 senses on those rabbits exactly, redying himself for the strike. He moved through the forest floor with ease, like a fish in water, and caught one rabbit with its head in his jaw. "Find peace in this painless death, and may your spirit become one with those that will make use of your flesh in this endless cycle..." With a swift movement of his head, Hiyo snapped the poor rabbit's neck and killed it with the slightest amount of pain possible. With that done, he carried the offering to Eve and placed it in front of the fire.

*Eve chukkled, "good boy." He even wanted to pat his head but figured that would be going to far. She nodded, "it's good to see your true form aswell. However ever kitsune is diffrent. So i must ask, can you speak in this form. If not just shake your head and i'll understand." She smerked taking the rabit and starting to cook the meat. "If not it's fine, i just need to know wha tyou can and cant do... for later if need be." She smiled and looked up, "We have alot to travle still so we need to learn about eachother i we are to become comrads." She nodded.

HIyo nodded his head in agreement, making it clear he couldn't speak in this form. He poofed and went back to before, only this time his fox ears and tail stayed out. "Aww, not again. Keep on forgetting these too, but oh well. Not like it'll matter anymore."

*Eve nodded, "Exacly let your ears and tail symoblize who and what you are. Don't be afrade to let others notice it. Walk with pride and Honer and you will find a good path laid infront of you." She spoke wisly as she held up a stick of meat, "and the rabbits done." She chukkled, "Anything you wanna know about me? Questions, comments, acuzations. I seem to be learning alot about you already."

"You sound older than you look, hearing all of this wise-talk about one's pride." He thought about what to ask her, then an idea came to mind. "Do you always take some kind of apprentice in the middle of your adventures?" He kind of laughed at it.

*She chukkled* "Well to be honist i'm only 28. But usally i'm walking around pulling my hair out of my head. I take care of my sister, and the country, and all these things. I go to wars and battle fields. I've done alot in my life already, but know i havn't perticulally picked up anyone else to teach them like i am you before. My dad used to do so all the time though when he was in my posstion. Funny how i seem to now understand him and be more like him now that he's gone." She chukkled, "but i guess his teaching have carried on. Plus i could use something to keep my mind off of some things. And... i just happen to like foxes." she laughed.

Hiyo laughed with her. "Well, in that case, my mother might've pushed me into getting a date with you, if not for the age. I'm only 19." he looked up to the starry night. "Is this how it's like, camping out and chatting like this? Traveling, I mean."

*Eve smiled and layed back, using her hands as a pillow, "sorta. Getting to see new things, meet new people." She seemed lost for a moment, "this is the greatst time for me. When i'm out here like this. I love to just star at the stars." She shrugged, "i don't know why really. I just do." And she made a face, "and by the way, in our country age doesn't matter between yokai. I will probaby live to about 5000 or so like my father did and sisters will. But i will still look the same as i do now. But a vampire can be paired with any other for example, and vampires live for hundreds of years. They aren't considered teenaged untill there in there 100s." She chukkled and closed her eyes, "so don't be confussed. Age dosn't matter." She looked to him, "though don't get your hopes up, i'm a tough girl to please." She laughed.

Hiyo just felt a chill up his tail after she said that. Just what is she implying?? His ears drooped a bit as he laughed weakly. After a bit, he looked up and flopped to the ground, viewing the starry night sky.

*Eve smiled up and stared into the sky, "I was told..." she begin in a soft vioce, "that my real father always looked to the skys every night. he even named a star." She pointed, "that one there he named... Tim." She chukkled, "i think he could of picked a better name and all but," she took a deep breath, "for some reasion i think i understand alittle. It relaxes you and clear your mind of all this thought you always have." She smiled.

Hiyo was starting to understand what she had meant. However, his exhaustion was soon kicking in and slowly dozed off. "Gnight, Eve......" His breathing slowed and softened after a while; he was completely out cold.

She nodded softly, "good night little buddy." But she woudn't sleep just yet... she couldn't even if she wanted too. But that was alright. She would keep watch, stare up at te sky all night, dream while awake...
In the morning eve was aobut half asleep, half paying attention, half out of it. She was leaned up aginst a tree but her head was layed back, her eyes closed. In her hand was the sick she used to poke the fire all night and keep it's ashes burning.
