She didn't notice anyone near here until a hand was placed on her. She looked down at Volteck and shook her head. "...Just pent up anger and frustration..." She noticed the spikes on his back and chuckled, "Still practicing?"

He looked and saw the spiked coming out " yea, i have been at it since i woke up, but what are up upset about?" he asked as the spikes went away

He thought about what he learned about the guardian dragons " the only way for the darkness to take over an area the guardian dragon must be killed. Which means the one that has been told to protect your was killed first. Cirok or any of the other guardions never known of the death of one of their own until its too late, you can be mad at him for not seeing it so he could prevent it, but also if he did you would have been to weak to fight back and would have died himself." he told her " the same happened to my home in the mountains. that was first to be taken by the darkness."

"..." She thought about what was said and chewed her lips. "...Oh..." She shifted, "Now I feel bad for yelling at him..." She ran a finger over the scars again, not sure what she should do.

Volteck did know what to do, he hugged her and told her " you remind me of the one that was killed in the darkness, its wierd coming from me but..." he stopped for a breath and closed his eyes " i have fallen in love with you"

She blinked, rather confused at what Volteck said. She looked at him, blank, "..." Then the words settled in and she turned bright red, "I-I..." She was speechless.

As he hugged her he slowly began to turn into his dragon form but with his eyes closed he doesnt notice the transformation " im sorry Ashe but i felt the same way when it happened to me. and it was Shiru, my mother who told me."

She was still shocked at the 'fallen in love' comment. She lowered her head at his hug, resting her forehead on his shoulder, eyes closed as well. But she felt his body changing around her and she opened her eyes to see him far along in his transformation. "Volteck...You're shifting..." She slipped out of his arms, so he wouldn't crush her, and took dragon form as well. "...That wasn't the reason for my silence...You...You surprised me. I...I didn't expect you to say you love me...I wasn't..."

Volteck opened his eyes and looked at himself. he was in dragon form no doubt, he then looked at Vearon and saw he was awake and well. " how come i didnt feel anything?" he asked in amazement then looking at Ashe in dragon form. " im sorry it was sudden, but you remind me of her"

Ashe chuckled at his confusion. "Told you, once you get use to it, you won't feel the change." She looked down at Vearon and licked the little dragon, "Looks like your magic is your own now. You don't have to worry about this little one." She looked back at Volteck, "...I...remind you of her...I see..." She couldn't blush in dragon form, but she did lower her head.

He looked at Ashe and said " you have all the good things about her. Smart, helpful, nice, and all around good person." he softly lifted her head " it should be me who should be embarrassed by this."

She smiled, still embarrassed, "Heh...We are an odd pair..." She shook herself and looked at him, "I...I suppose you'll have to go fight now? You can transform on your own now."

" I am going to but since i learned my father is alive i need to get him first" he told her " once i can bring him back his information will help us greatly in our fight." he looked away from her and his looked down " i would like to know is when i come back" he stopped short not knowing how to finish and he hung his head even lower
